Specifically selected parts because the description, Details and what is included in your order all listed a specific part to be included in the order ( brake wear sensors). Sensors not in box. Contacted customer service they said not included because the application doesn't call for it, yet the application does call for it on this specific car and their own web site states that those parts will be included. Had to purchase them from apparently, a more reputable on-line parts supplier. They really need to train their employees so that they are up to date on specific parts applications and review / revise their web site to remove false information on what parts are included in your order. Its really a Sad situation.
Refused to refund my core charge because they said I didn't send it in the original box. After various emails back and forth (they wont' talk on the phone) They admitted that they did get my parts in a original AC Delco Box, but it wasn't the correct box, and still refuse to refund me. I sent the parts in the boxes that they came to me in. This is currently ongoing and I'm going to be contacting my credit card company because this seems incredibly fraudulent. My family and friends all used to order off of this website and unless this gets resolved none of us ever will again.
I bought an alternator and a belt, took 1 1/2 weeks to get the belt 2 days for alternator

Great place to get your auto parts. The parts I ordered are of great quality and at an excellent price. Power steering belt and door handle for a Hyundai fit perfectly. Haven't received the ignition coil yet due to the USPS not delivered yet from Akron Ohio.

My car has been on a lift for 3 weeks. We order 1 caliper for my car, you send the wrong side ordered. We had to fight just to get it returned. We then again order the correct part AGAIN and the part we receive is for the wrong model of the car. This is ridiculous! And now we have to again fight to return the part the ROCKAUTO sent in ERROR TWICE. This is causing unnecessary frustration. 3 weeks for a break job. And the best part, cant even speak to a live person

I have been purchasing parts from RockAuto for more than 14 years. I have been generally happy with their pricing and delivery. As with all things you find the true measure of a company when the need to address a problem. I ordered brake parts for my car and chose delivery that should have had them to me in a few days. The indicated same day shipping with no progress for 2 days. My deliver went from a thursday to a Saturday and then a Tuesday. When I complained they would refund the parts but not the shipping to return. I know they have legalize to back away from their responsibility but when delivery keeps being moved they need to step-up.

Once again the item that was shown to be in stock wasn't. RockAuto didn't notify me in a timely manner so that I could order from a different source. I wouldn't recommend ordering from them as this isn't the first time that an item was attractively priced (bait) caused me to place an entire order with them only to find that they had only part of what I ordered and not the items that caused me to place the order in the first place. I'm going to treat them as if they don't exist. When you add up the time delay for notification and refund it's not a good value to me.
If you pay attention to what you are ordering, and do you background homework, you won't be disappointed. Like any online ordering, you can't see feel or touch to ensure what you are ordering is exactly what you need. If you don't want to do all that extra work to ensure you get the right part, then buy a Mopar! :) At least they don't try so hard to make it difficult to get the right part!!

I've ordered from them for a while, never a problem. Never a return. Until one day. I can't fault a re-seller for a defective part. However they are putting me through HE## to return a part. Their support rep even questioned whether it was installed right. (It was a brake part....Son, I've been doing this for MANY years on MANY cars... just take the return). 2 weeks now. May need to escalate issue.

Be aware from their shipping methods. They shipped my parts, my wife was at home during delivery day and she never heard of anybody knocking or ringing. First thing I know is my parts was on their way back to warehouse for refund. They charge me twice for shipping for returned parts. No notice was left in my mail or any second attempt for delivery ( if they ever tried once). Looks like a technic (from them of the carrier? - Landmark in this specific case) to grab you more money from your pockets.
Sent me the wrong brake pads. It was more than 30 days ago so I couldn't get a refund. Cost me $87
Rockauto is the best value in auto parts available. I have been using Rockauto for a long time and always have been very happy with each purchase. On the rare occasion that there was a problem they fixed it right away. Returns can be costly with all of the shipping, but I have only had to return one item because I personally made an ordering mistake. Their parts look-up is easy to use and accurate. If there is a mistake and you get the wrong part because of their system they correct the problem and get you the part you need. Great company to do business with.

I have had great experience with rockauto. They instantly emailed me order confirmation and shortly thereafter shipment confirmation with tracking .In 2 days I have received my order. Parts were good. Order packed well.

Since becoming automated, they fail in refunding orders. Do not use! No way to talk to a person means any return a machine processes incorrectly means you will lose money. Garbage company now, lost a lot of money because they lost my return shipping it from one of their warehouses to another.

Had the worst exp. I purchased a clutch slave cylinder for 01 ranger and the part came with no boot.When the catalog stated that no throw out bearing came with it I purchased it because I purchased a clutch kit as well which came with bearing.Why would catalog say no bearing but not no boot.The so called manager ben said I should of compared pics but I did not pull tranny out yet because I had to drive it intill parts came to fix it.When I told BEN this than he said I should of compared it to other pics in catalog.I cant believe I have to compare parts and pics to be able to trust what I am buying. And the biggest kicker is when I asked about the boot when I pulled out tranny and noticed the slave had a boot they ben said rockauto don't sell the boot.Can you believe that they would supply half of the part and not offer the other half.And THEN im told I have to pay to ship part back to get refund for the half of part I have.I will be passing this on to all my friends and family that deal with rock auto and I hope they pass it along too that rockauto is shady.And there so called manager BEN treat customers like trash
The biggest waste of money and time was shopping on this site. They sent me the wrong parts to my car when I filled out all of the information correctly while searching for them. I then had my car taken apart only to find out the parts would not fit. The Return Authorization was a pain and I would have to pay shipping. I did it anyways since I was forced to get the parts elsewhere rather than wait over a week with my car in pieces.
They authorized the return on the incorrect parts only never provided a shipping address. I tried calling multiple times but you can't get ANYONE on the phone. Finally I got a rudely written response to an email saying it had been over 30 days (Only because I did not have an address to ship the bad parts to) and they chancged the status of my RMA to not authorized. I feel I have been cheated and will be taking it up with my credit card company. Save your money and shop somewhere that has any sort of customer service and who will stand behind their products and do what they say they will. That is not Rock Auto.
They are notorious for sending the Wrong parts which in turn wastes your time and ends up costing you money.

Amazing service, awesome prices, best around in fact, some parts can be hard to find, for example, when looking for a rear bumper for a 03 sierra, you need to look at a 2000 sierra to find it listed, cumbersome but they do have it, and the only other downside is Canadian shipping and stock costs, we need brakes and normal wear items stocked in Canada so shipping isn't so pricey, its the only thing that would keep me from buying more shop stock and parts.

I've used Rockauto several times in the past and had nothing but good things to say except this time around. I ordered re-manufactured brakes by Raybestos and am very disappointed in the inconsistent materials they used (some had stainless pistons, and some had painted cast iron) and the total lack of hardware on one of the rears. The reason this gets one star isn't because there was a problem, but from Rockauto's CLEAR lack of customer service and problem resolution. Everything refers you to the websites "order status" page, which is not helpful because I have already set up core returns, (not shipped) and it won't let me "report a problem" anymore. When you call the phone number, unless you're going to place an order, you will not get a live representative. This is bad business. I work in customer service for an automotive parts distributor, and we have an 800 number, online chat, email, and walk-in capabilities. HIGHLY disappointed in the lack of effort, and because they lack customer service, I will not be recommending their business.
Don't screw yourself over. They sent me the wrong parts n charged me for it. I call customer service they told me to get lost.
just got back from 5 so call auto parts stores no body had the part i needed sad that they could order it and that it wood take several days to got the part.came home and looked on rock auto found the right part i needed ,will have to order it will take some time to get the part.the best thing about this review is the part on rock auto is app.$20.00 chipper and i don't need to drive all over town just to learn that the so call part store are ordering the part from rock auto and pocketing the 20.00 dollars that they over charged me!

Or they will steal your money, I been a customer for more then 5 years and I been treated like crab, they always send wrong parts and try to charge you for it or return fees even tho they messed up the order . Or you could also try to over night it n pay like 100 to 200 on top for shipping they'll still arrive like 4 days later. Absolutely worst customer service ever , they'll even hang up on you or develop an attitude. Honestly save your money n order from ebay...

Not only are their prices great, their shipping rates to Canada are among the lowest I seen. They also supply tracking numbers which is a really good thing. Delivery was on time, actually receiving the order a day earlier than expected. Great experience. I highly recommend RockAuto.

Purchase a rack from them and they sent the wrong part , I printed out there return label and seal it in the box they shipped to me, the box I said the box was damage by FedEx during the shipment

I ordered two struts for my Acura MDX. I received them and one was in a damaged box. I tried to install them and it turns out they sent the wrong part/ they gave me one that was correct and one that is for a Honda Ridgeline ...
So now I have a car that is missing a strut and inoperable. I go to the website and there is no contact information, no phone number and no email. I have to request a return and once it s shipped, they will send me the right part.
I go to drop it off at fedex and they won t take it as the box has a hole in it (it came that way). What now?? Anyone have any tips? Better business bureau? Get the credit card company involved?

Greetings, Mechanistas! rock auto has saved me from the preverbial fire countless times by simply having the part i needed period ! hard to find, discontinued . or obscure, they seem to havr what you need a t a decent price, unlike all the chain, fuzzy dice brokers of barts. and i choose shipment, which is so convienient. i hope you choose rock auto first for all your hard to find parts, first. ive have great successes with them. five stars!! rock auto, you cetainly arent no sucker parts place like the standalone stores here in Rome, Georgia. who are shaking their heads asking what a spindle nut is anyways, and after checking found out they dont even carry one of any make or model for changing after wheel bearing replacement. no wonder all business is getting handled online these days. the disosaur parts stores have let me down once again..and totally wasted my time and money.. rock auto has been good about the parts and the returns.. i recommend them .. and not ought - no-zone or admiss auto parts nor o'rightious...they just dont get it!...
I ve been trying to order a compatible pigtail for a RU404T resistor module and your web page is completely useless and no way to contact anyone. I ordered the wrong one it was for the blower mtr and I thought it was for the resistor module . Disgusted in Texas!
Bought rear caliper bolts for a 2010 Chevy Camaro. Bolts for front and rear calipers are different, but there is only one part number on your website. I paid $10 for 4 rear bolts, and was sent front bolts. To return them, I have to pay $6 for a RMA and a return label. Not worth the trouble, and since this was the first time purchasing, dont think I'll order again. Too much competition to feel duped.
Rockauto told me that I could contact them on a specific date if product wasn't received, I contacted them on the date provided and was told to be patient. After that email when I checked order status I got a message saying that the item is in transit and case is closed and item can't be returned (I haven't even received it) Now when I try to email them I get automated message saying that I can no longer reply to the email address that we've been commenting on. Looks like they've stolen my money and I can't do anything about it!

This is the third review I've made of Rockauto today (Unexpectedly lol) so I'll simply say that I've used them for years, and never had a problem. They have great customer service.
Finding and ordring my part was easy, and arrived a day earlier than scheduled. Price was great and part fit right in without any fuss.
Online only. Open a store! I would drive from an hour away. You would kill Advanced Auto Parts and O'Reillys.

I have only good experiences buying from RockAuto. I am impressed by the variety of selections for most item and amazed by how fast I receive my purchases. They have many hard to find items for old or foreign cars.
RockAuto is garbage. I ordered $1500 in parts half of which weren't the right parts for my car. They fought with me on the phone claiming I made the mistake and ordered the wrong parts and when finally all said and done never refunded my return shipping for their mistake. It cost me twice as much (an extra $200) to get the correct parts sent to my house. When they finally came they were THE SAME WRONG PARTS as the first shipment. I called back and demanded just a refund on the shipping which they agreed to and then never received. I took the loss but will never shop here again. This company is full of crooks cheats and liars and I will attempt to take legal action against them for my loss (all together was around $1100 between wrong parts and non refunded shipping).
Almost always the best price for the quality of the products. Super easy returns too with discounted shipping. Plus, if they don't have it, you probably can't get it anywhere but the dealer.
Excellent company, we have 3 chevrolet cars 88, 93 and 94. All the parts are found here and they arrive quickly to Costa Rica. They always give you a sticker with a magnet with a classic photo.
