Ordered struts and shocks, 3 parts were fine one was boxed in the wrong box and it was also used. Was told that I couldn't prove they sent the wrong part. Will not be ordering from them again
Very good customer service. Fast delivery of high quality parts for my car. I would recommend to anyone, as long as they could wait a couple days for their parts. Usually around 1/3 the price of Orielly, or Autozone.

Thank you for providing quality parts at reasonable prices. This is the second time I have purchased from RockAuto. The starter I purchased was half of what I was going to pay at my local auto part store. The starter arrived on my doorstep a day early.
Over the years I've had great experiences ordering from Rockauto. Spent over a thousand in parts for sure, probably more, but don't tell my wife! Recently I had the unfortunate experience where I was sent the wrong brake parts. While I only confirmed that some of the parts were wrong, being that it's brakes I sent all the parts back...not taking chances with safety items. The return process on the website was easy to use, and I received a refund for almost the amount I paid. The almost is the issue...since I returned parts that I couldn't confirm were wrong or right, I wasn't refunded for the shipping on those parts...and then some. After a back and forth with the service reps, my ticket was arbitrarily closed with no real solution, other than "it's in our Return Policy". Since it's in their return policy that the return shipping was on me, that's my bad then. But the extra money they kept I still have no explanation for. I had a good run buying parts from them, but will need to take my business elsewhere as that last order cost me money and I don't have any parts to show for it. I was hoping to find a contact for the owner Jim Taylor to bring this directly to his attention, but no such luck. Best I can do is leave a post and hope other unsuspecting victims find it helpful.
Always been excellent until I chose USPS International instead of FedEx for a delivery to the UK, Absolutely USELESS, stated 'Delivery' time on Shopping Cart is unrealistic and has incorrect information! Advice is for UK deliveries, ONLY use FedEx, delivery time IS accurate, extra price for vat & duties included IS worth it! But Only problem I've ever had with Rock Auto!
They used to being pretty good and not I'm luck to get the right part now!! Bearing wrong size labels right on the order and show up wrong, wrong radiator, wasted a lot of money with all these parts
First time ordering from this site my part came within 2 days very fast service the price can't be beat the part was put on by my mechanic with no issues. will def order again from this site.
Ordered new catalytic converter pipe and flange gasket from diagram on Rock Auto. Thought I was saving at least $100 over competitors until the I tried to get them installed. Installer (MIDAS) showed me where the flange on RockAuto supplied pipe was too wide for the exhaust manifold. Then the hangars were 2" too long and had to be cut, shortened, and welded. Then, the flange gasket diameter was 1/4 too big. NOTHING FIT. The flange had to be heated, bent, and then with the force of 2 mechanics pushing up on the flange bolts, only then did it all fit. Thanks to all the modifications that had to be done to the catalytic converter pipe and the correct flange gasket from a local parts store, the $100 savings cost me $247 in modifications. MIDAS verified per RockAuto website and diagram that I ordered the correct parts from RockAuto. When I went on RockAuto website to get at least a partial refund and alert them to the poor quality and fit of the part, I quickly found out because I installed their poorly manufactured part, it was unreturnable. I had not choice to modify and install it since my old exhaust was removed and rotted. So then I tried to call RockAuto. Good luck..its all online, absolutely no one to talk to, so I'm out $247 in labor for a part that didn't fit as it should. I hardly ever write online reviews but this is the only way I can warn you about absolutely no customer service and horribly made parts at RockAuto. I would strongly NOT recommend RockAuto!!!
This is a fantastic site . My Email shows orders dating back to 2010 (A 6 year customer) . Parts are easy to find and cross reference into retail outlets. Can't beat the pricing or selection of brand names .With the many orders only one bad wheel bearing. they were great with no hassle exchange. The prices are very reasonable, shipping is always prompt. Rarely do I place reviews about experiences, but in this case it was a pleasure to give a very positive feedback.
Used to be good site with customer service. Now there is no real person to talk to when there is actual problem that their site automation can't give you solution for. I ordered new part but they keep shipping me used parts, even with the packing slip of the other person, who returned them, still in the box. I tried installing the obviously returned part, I received as replacement, and it caused other damage to my car but there is nobody to talk to settle this down. When I decided I don't want any more replacements I just want my money back they want me pay return shipping for them sending me bad parts.
Shipped the wrong part in the right box------misboxed part and charged me to ship it back. There answer was that "mistakes happen". The mistake was trying to order the part from their company.
I have a lot of time to order parts with them and I find it a good service and without complications of course buying the correct part I am satisfied thanks
Worst customer service imaginable. Calling their customer service line leads you to an infinite loop of automated prompts never leading to a human. Returns are incredibly difficult.

Terrible experience. Their site says my part shipped. Fed Ex says it has not. They have NO phone number to call to straighten this out and the web site only seems to address canceling an order. I was afraid of this when I ordered. Won't order from here again.

I have purchased somewhere between $20,000 and $30,000 in parts from Rock Auto in 9 years. I'm very happy with the parts, the prices & the fast, low cost shipping. SADLY, as of Oct 2019 Rock Auto has ceased shipping to Australia because of some import/export tax issue they have. Every other US company has worked around this issue, why wont Rock Auto? OR will Rock Auto ever resume shipping to Australia?

My experience has been very disappointing.Let me explain, first I was sent the wrong part,( a power steering rack.) had to ship it back the second part was correct but after I installed it the rack was leaking.so remove it and ship it back. Now the third rack sent to me also leaks.(ATSCO 8353) so now I have to remove this rack to ship it back before rock auto will credit my acc. and I don't want another ATSCO rack I wanted rock auto to ship me out the A1cardone rack in it's place but they won't do that. they will not help me out to try and make a happy customer.I am the one who has lost all the labor cost on this job and I have to do it at least one more time but with a different product Please be aware of rock auto and it's suppliers. because all they really want is your money. well they wont get any more of mine..
Failed to send proper adapters for wiper order then locked me out of the return process. WHAT A SCAM! No wonder AMAZON is cleaning these clowns clock. AVOID Rock Auto at all costs....because if you don't, it WILL cost you!!!
I've dealt with RockAuto for years. You can't beat their prices and selection but their customer service is non existent these days. And their warranty exchange is burdensome. Recently I purchased a power steering hose for my Saturn wagon. The hose I received was more than a foot longer than the original hose. I would have had to loop it around to make it fit, if I could get it to fit. When I called RA I got the automated CS robot. After going through the options the robot insisted that I received the correct part and that I would be charged return shipping. To their credit they allowed me to return the part. Sad that there is no option to speak with a human. We probably could have worked something out? Also, the phone number they list on their website doesn't allow an option to speak to a human. All robotic, I guess that's how they keep their prices low? I've recommended RA many times over the years. Thinking I might pay a little more and have some human options.

Sent defective part that did not fail but was Dead on Arrival. Made me jump through the hoops, pay for two-way shipping, provide receipts from a shop AND would replace with the same garbage "brand" only. No returns. No customer service other than via email. Responses are prompt but always inconclusive and barely coherent. No way I would ever buy a box of matches from this outfit again.
This is a company that lulls you into the feeling of caring for you and wanting to provide you with service that you could be happy with. Yet, the only warning I can give you is hope that you do not have a problem with the parts they ship you because they will leave you out in the cold with their policies and procedures. If you find yourself with a problem with the parts enjoy spending the shipping to send it back when they make a mistake and not own any of it. I have now since parted ways with RockAuto for now and the future because of the treatment I received. Be wary of their inability to own their mistakes.
Prices at RockAuto are sugnicifamtly less than at your local Store Front parts houses on 99.9% of their parts. Their customer service and return policies are top notch. If you can wait a couple of days for your parts, you will save a ton of money.
I recommend RockAuto to all my friends, and garages that I do business with.
VERY POOR RETURN POLICY Purchased a heater core for a 2000 dodge durango 6 hours of labor latter found core was the wrong part. By the picture proper core was listed under a 2001 dodge durango. Ordered proper part and returned wrong part. They refunded me $15.98 less than I paid. I was going to pursue this further. After looking into it Rock auto seems to make their profit by ripping people off on the returns. I will not deal with these people again. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS ON THIS TRANSACTION.
Price is right on , delivery is quick and so the only obsticle to completing each step rejuvenating my 20 year old "stupid-fast" Mitz 3000 is me. Thanks guys, you make my love affair with these cars possible. Rockon.!
1st experience with rock auto was absolutely terrible. Maybe I grabbed a bad apple from the batch considering all the other good reviews but man were these guys a waste of time and money. Sent a steering rack to get rebuilt in which I included all necessary components. Spent $60 to get it shipped there only for them to tell me a week later they cant rebuild it because they don't have the necessary parts. ALL IT NEEDS IS SEALS??? Literally found a kit in 2 seconds with a google search. Needless to say they refunded my money after they took their chunk to get it shipped back because why would they pay for that out of pocket? What a waste of $90 and time.
Small to start 94 mustang t.p.s shipping quick to the U.K 5 days. Parts easy to order. Ive a 99 durango that has some issues but the shipping on those is a little high so might go elsewhere. Other than that brilliant
Nobody has a larger selection of parts AND the pricing is (usually) cheaper than any other retailer, including Amazon. As a Ford F-350 owner, RockAuto usually has the Motorcraft version of the part you are buying. Bought Motorcraft spark plugs priced 25% cheaper than my local Ford dealer.
If you enjoy wasting money, buy your parts at AutoZone. If you prefer brand name parts at lower prices, buy at RockAuto.
An absolutely HONEST company to trust all your auto parts needs. I have bought auto parts from them several times. They have an excellent customer service department. Their prices are very competitive, and the parts are excellent quality.
They offer very speedy shipping at a very competitive rate. I will trust them, forever, with my auto parts needs.

RockAuto is unwilling to work with localities to follow sales tax laws. They will no longer ship anywhere near me in Colorado. I was unable to place a $1,200 order and payed significantly more from other suppliers.
I have spent thousands of dollars with Rock Auto in the past, but I guess thats over. I was able to find my parts from other suppliers however paid about $1,700.
After wasting my time and having to purchase elsewhere I cannot recommend rockauto.

I had my driver side rear view mirror smashed off some time ago. After searching around for a replacement mirror and so many high prices I don't want to pay, I was referred to come to Rock Auto and the prices were amazing!
After I placed the order, something that was promised to take 5-6 days to reach me, came the next day (granted, I'm only in Illinois and they're in Wisconsin).
I am very impressed and will return for more parts as needed.

After searching over a dozen locations and online websites for a very hard to find part for my son's truck, we were about to give up hope, when surprisingly I received an email from RockAuto saying they now had my part. I must have put my name on a waiting list and they followed through! Within a day of purchase, they had the part shipped out to me. Awesome service!!

I am delighted to have found Rock Auto a few years back. I have an American made car, and living outside the US, the parts are expensive. With Rock Auto all my problems for parts are solved. Even when I doubt, just a mail and my problem is solved with their prompt advice. I love Rock Auto and keep up the good work.
I like their selection and prices but the customer service is horrendous. The stupid online questionnaire is worthless and will just feed you canned answers instead of resolving issues. See the pic. Rockauto insists the nut on the left is the OEM axlenut. Got the one on the right from Chevy. Guess which one fits? I ve been trying to contact them to help future customers but they deleted my comment on their Facebook page. Never again rockauto. Seriously all you need is a small group of people to talk to customers.

Rockauto was great for many years always taking care of any problems. However, over the last 2 months this has gone downhill fast. I have received more wrong or defective parts in the lat 2 months than I have the last 2 years. In addition to this, they are now making the customer pay for the return shipping of their problems and mistakes! Sorry Rockauto! You lost a very loyal customer of 15 years!
