Booked my truck in (2018 3500) for an oil change a...

Booked my truck in (2018 3500) for an oil change and fuel filter change. Service advisor talked me in to the piece of mind service which included a tire rotation - great cause I needed that too. Technician that took my truck failed to use the plastic on my seat which I though was weird. Waiting around the advisor told me that fluid top ups were included and asked if i wanted my DEF tank filled, I said sure. Finally it was ready and I got the bill.

Overcharged for the fuel filter change... confirmed after the fact by calling other local dealers. DEF tank still only half full. There was dirt/dust? On my seat and the interior smelled of oil. The next morning I found oil on my driveway, inspected closer and found oil on the frame and some suspension components. Charged 55$ for shop supplies and they couldn't even clean up the mess they made. Maybe they expected the rain to wash it off into the environment. I asked if they greased the front drive shaft as it must be done every oil change as per the manual. The advisor assured me prior to settling the bill it was done but at this point I don't believe them. Also they rotated the tires but failed to change the air pressure to spec. Overall a really poor job for the price paid. I will not be returning to this service department. Clearly I should have done this service myself.

I have previously worked at a dealership a number of years ago as a service technician, the quality of work I received at this dealer would have NEVER been acceptable. Shame on the service manager for allowing this poor level of service to happen.

Amazing service from our sales rep Arminder and ma...

Amazing service from our sales rep Arminder and manager Paul ! I have been to many dealers in the past but never felt so comfortable in the buying process they are fair and honest and it shows in all the work they do. Follow up was great from Arminder after the sale unlike a lot of sales guys who dissolve into thin air once you enter the financing office he even threw in some goodies AFTER the deal was closed. I would STRONGLY recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new car/truck or jeep you will not be disappointed. Be sure to ask for Le when your new goes for detailing his work and attention to detail is amazing !

I said Stevenson, she said no problem get it! Never met someone so cheerful and out going. My ride home she even offered me some timbits she got for her breakfast. I booked my jeep for an appointment a week ago to service my car for a check engine light. In the morning of the appointment i called to confirm what time i needed to be there and was told they were super busy and could probably not accommodate me today. The service advisor seemed very disinterested like it was my problem and not his.Terrible customer service ill be taking my car elsewhere.
Note: i dont like having to give a bad reviews and this could just be a one off but i really didnt feel it was the level of customer service was acceptable.

I bought a brand new Ram 3500 in July.
I brought my truck in for.its first service and.dealt with Justin.
Justin was Phenominal! It was a complete pleasure dealing with Justin, he carefully listened to all my requests and.even sughested some that I did not think of. I have daelt with quite a few different Dealerships over the years and Richmond Chrysler and Justin are by far second to None!
I will definatley be recommending Richmond Chrysler to Family and Friends

I dropped by one Saturday because I needed help setting the clock on my caravan. The place was super busy but I was right away greeted by Sadie's great smile. She was more than helpful even though I didn't have an appointment and immediately came to my van and showed me how to do it. I never expected to be in and out of there so efficiently, knowing they would be really busy! Very excellent customer service, really impressed :)

Purchased T&C from Richmond Chrysler after multiple months of research. Purchase process at the end wasn't close to pleasant. After making decision on the car , the dealership increased the selling price on several thousand dollars, because someone didn't advertise it correctly. But that wasn't just everything. Carproof report didn't show any accidents, but in fact front bumper of the car was replaced or repainted. there was a gap between right wing and the bumper and the paint tone on bumper is different. There were able to fool me, because I'm not an expert and I trusted them as to official Chrysler dealer .
If you want to feel fooled and robbed - Richmond Chrysler is the place to go!

Update: they don't bother themselves even to follow up , so their response down here is just fiction. No actions, no understanding , no acknowledgment of their dirty business . Not sure if that is their policy and Mike Gignac knows about what is happening.

Time goes by so fast when one drives with her as she is very professional person and she likes to share some of her experience. Have to say that Sadie is a great lady. She is the one that takes you to and from home or work when the car is dropped for service. She is friendly and has a good sense of humour. Dropping the car off is always stressful because it is always an expensive bill. Always. But she somehow makes it a little bit easier with her smile.

Thanks for getting me to work and back again Sadie. :)

Just wish you were able to start the drop off time a little bit earlier and stay a tiny bit longer for return pickups. :)

I traded in my vehicle because I needed a vehicle that would tow my quad and carry my kayak. I found the jeep renegade and fell in love with it. When I signed my agreement I requested roof rails and a sunroof for which I paid extra for. When my vehicle went in to have these extra items added, I was told it would be 3-4 days. 3 days later the manager called and asked me if I really wanted the sunroof, apparently he had been told that people had complained about the noise and didn't like it, I said yes I still wanted it and was surprised to hear that they hadn't even started it. I then found out that the sunroof cost to install was a lot more than I had paid, leading me to question if that was truly the reason the manager didn't want to have it installed. I got my vehicle back and sunroof is great. I was then told that they couldn't find roof rails for my car but the manager told me he was looking into it. A month later I called and was told that they told me they weren't available but they were 'willing' to give me back my money. I'm appalled at the service from the manager and find his integrity questionable and untrustworthy. Why wouldn't he have givin me back my money in the first place? I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone, in fact I would say to stay away, they're only interested in making the sale and not standing behind their own agreement.

Staff is very patient , attentive and knowledgeable. The price was exactly as quoted and the service was excellent . I didn't know what to expect and had a lot of questions about my boyfriends vehicle which I'm relatively unfamiliar with. They answered all of my questions and gave me some additional tips to familiarize myself with the vehicle for the future . Highly recommended. Great service , value and overall experience !

Bought a 2017 Ram 1500 with 20000km s on it here a...

Bought a 2017 Ram 1500 with 20000km s on it here and although we love the truck we bought, the experience was... disorganized to say the very least and at times, outright dishonest.

During the negations we were promised the employee discount of 30% on a set of new all season tires as the ones on the vehicle were almost at the wear bar and were not rated for snow. They did this by increasing the total purchase price by $1500 to compensate for their expenses. We ONLY agreed to finance this additional expense because we were promised employee discount on tires. Otherwise we would have just bought tires with cash and not had to pay 7.19% interest on it for the next three months, until the penalty against additional payments is lifted.

We were also promised floor mats, a full gas tank, and a spare key.

After four days, only two of those had been fulfilled and they outright refused the rest of their promises. The price they gave us on tires was not reduced from the standard retail price (exact same as Canadian tire) and they refused to acknowledge the lack of discount provided. Instead, they gave up and said we will give you your $1500 back and you can just go pay it off like it was never there .

What about the 90 day penalty for additional payments? No thought was given to this, nor did they remotely care about the financial impact it had on us, their customer. That is a substantial amount of money to pay interest on, considering that we NEVER received what we agreed upon.

When we asked about the floor mats we were told: There is not a single mat in stock that fits your vehicle. Which I found quite odd for a Dodge Dealership.

The next day I went in to finally pick up the spare key. While I was waiting, I thought I d hold them accountable and see if I was being lied to so I went to the parts counter and received a price on floor mats for my new truck... floor mats of which they had TEN in stock.

So that was the second outright lie we had been told by these people. First, they screwed us by adding $1500 to our financing deal for a promise of discounted tires that was never fulfilled. Then they outright lied to us AGAIN on the floor mats. An additional expense of $200 for us, the purchaser.

All in all, we received a spare key and tank of gas. They never followed through on their promises and used We ve already taken on the expense of a spare key for you. As their excuse for this level of shyster type business.

What about my expense? The 5 pointless trips back there to get absolutely nowhere and be told to wait for a phone call? What about the trip back to drop off the hard top for the Jeep I traded in? What about the $35,500 that we just paid you for a brand new vehicle? What about the discounted tires? What about the floor mats?

Ultimately, this dealership is dishonest and will lie to you to make you spend more money. What happened to honesty, integrity, and core values?

Seems like they don t exist here.

I usually don t write reviews but I am extremely unhappy. I bought a vehicle from this location on Saturday. I took it home and the next day it went into limp mode about 5 times while driving and it said service transmission on the dash. I called the sales manager Jerry who I ve been dealing with and he said it s not a big deal, it just needs a software update and to bring it in. I brought it in and asked Jerry why the software update wasn t done and mentioned how the seats had stains on it. His response was that it was because I bought the car so late, everyone was off. I asked him why was the car given to me if nothing was done then? I had no apology even once. I was given a loan car. He said everything will be ready in the morning and the car will be detailed as well. I said I m not free until 5-6 and he said don t worry, he d be there until 9. I came there the next day and he said the car wasn t ready. He said he didn t call me so why did I show up.... I told him we talked about this already and he tried to blame me about the miscommunication. Once again, no apology. The next day he called me saying that my car is ready and to come in. I said I m not free and I might not be able to come until the next day and his response was that they rushed to do my car because they need the loan car back. And so I disregarded what I had to do and came to grab the car. The stains on the seats were still there and so I mentioned it. He said it s a used vehicle with 25,000km, it can t be perfect. One of the cleaning guy came out with a cloth and scrubbed the seats for a few minutes and it came off.. which means they didn t even do it. There was a few garbage in the back still there and there was a sticky area on top that was still there. I asked him who detailed this and he said he doesn t know. I doubt they even detailed the car.... it looked exactly the same as how I first saw it. You know that happy feeling when you just bought a new car... it was the complete opposite.

I wanted to buy my first truck and I realized how difficult is to deal with domestic dealers. everyone is trying to charge you extra.

I called them and purchased my truck over the phone and got the best deal, I know it was the best deal because I was searching and looking for couple of months.

Picked up my brand new Ram Rebel and couldn t be any happier. The manager, finance manager and the sales rep were all amazing and would definitely buy again from this dealer.

Definitely would recommend.

Richard Seltitz was by far the most helpful, responsive and customer-focused service adviser I have ever worked with. After trying to get help with a recall for my '03 Jeep Liberty, from other Vancouver dealers I was amazed at the level of customer service I received from the Richmond Chrysler! Richard provided accurate information and got the part I needed that afternoon. I was able to bring my vehicle in the next day for the repair, and it was even completed faster than I expected. Big City with a small town feel -- that's how I feel about my recent purchase at Ricmond Chrysler Dodge & Jeep. After months of searching for a particular car and price range we had become very weary after several private deals fell through. Living on the Sunshine Coast made the search a bit more difficult. However, after missing out on yet another private deal, we once again pulled up AutoTrader and narrowed our search. Within minutes we found a vehicle that piqued our interest. We were immediately contacted by Arminder -- who without a doubt put our concerns, questions and requirements at the top of his list. Likeable, realistic and willing to make it work. It did not take long to know this would be the vehicle for us. The icing on the cake was the service above and beyond; Our trip over involved a ferry, buses and the Canada Line. Arminder arranged for Le to pick us up at the Lansdowne station. Le-- genuinely a super likeable guy. Hard working and eager assist us in this big adventure. We couldn't have been happier with their communication and assistance and Le's final polishing job on our new purchase was top notch. Thanks for making this a pleasant experience!

I have been dealing with this location for over 5yrs.I have purchased multiple vehicles.I have dealt with almost every staff member.All very professional and respectful.I have had dealings with every deparment and have never had a bad experience.Very helpful and knowledgeable.Reading a few negative reviews surprised me..My advise is to experience this dealership yourself and do not let a few peoples opinions make up your mind.They are a GREAT dealership.Ive referred alot of people and we all think the same way..Richmond Chrysler is by far the best car dealership.

Great person showing us cars, was very personal and had a wonderful experience. However, we took the car out for the day and had to put down a deposit of $500, which was no problem. We didn't end up getting a car there and they said we will get our deposit back.
Now, one month later and several phone calls demanding our deposit back, we finally got it back. Such sloppy business mentality. We now have to pay interest in our credit card due to that whole fiasco! Thanks Richmond Chrysler. Not going to go business here any more. They ruined any good experience we had there.

Took my car in for a service and it was returned f...

Took my car in for a service and it was returned filthy! And they only had it for one night- there was no rain- so there really wasn t a need for it to be so dirty.

When I dropped it off I had just washed it- now it is covered in dust, mud and dirt. When I complained while picking the car up, they offered to rinse (which was a 30 second hose rinse) the car which only made it worse. I spent over $1400 on servicing and part replacements. You d think they could return it with a quick wash. Super disappointing

I have 4 wheel drive problem and sent to them 3 t...

I have 4 wheel drive problem and sent to them 3 times. They never truly fixed it and blamed me for using it on normal road( actually I only used the 4 wheel for around 20 meters on normal road and it became out of order, and the other occasions I even never touched the 4 wheel button, the 4 wheel service light still went out). Last week they claimed to fix it again and Justin of the service department even showed me a photo of the muddy road which he said is the only road I can use the 4 wheel drive. I had drove my truck for a couple of days without touching the 4 wheel drive, however the 4 wheel problem light showed again. I am not sure how to deal it now, as Justin told me that they are doing all right, and I am the bad driver and don't listen to their instructions (he told me his manager absolutely agreed with him) and he even don't want to serve my truck.
I paid over $80000 to got a lemon truck, and now I am even blamed as a difficult customer. What a good dealer. If you are bold enough, just try yourself. Good luck!

Sadie the one and only.

What a great shuttle driver. Very pleasant, drove with such grace that you could nearly fall asleep. We had a good laugh that made my entire experience with Richmond Chrysler just that much better. You ll miss her when she s gone! And by that I mean she should get a raise.

We were looking for a parking spot at the Jeep Dealer Office in Richmond and asked the guy- where can we park? He said- right there, in front of the office, it's your parking spot ! It was nice! We liked him ! His name is Mustafa Faryad, the Sales Representative at Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd.
We had a full day of test drive, professional information of the options and really good consultationon on each option. Eventually, we got out of there on a new Jeep Cherokee. We enjoy this vehicle and want to thank Mustafa and his colleagues for their kind and professional assistance.

My 2015 Jeep Sport, bought from Richmond Chrysler had only 70,000 kms. before it experienced a serious brake failure which almost caused me to crash. The problem was the power assist unit, the model does not have a emergency brake, only way to stop, shift into park or reverse? I
was charged almost $1300. to replace the power assist. The Jeep dealer
said it was not covered by the warrantee, I understand that Jeep prides
itself in the matter of customer safety. Well let me tell you I certainly do
not feel safe in a Jeep. You may shuffle off my compliant, put it in the bottom of the basket and refuse to acknowledge it. But I'm hoping you have the decency to address my concern.

Our experience started out great, our sales person was very helpful and allowed us to test drive a number of their used cars. When we started taking price things got less friendly. We ended up buying a car and a few days later, after not doing any nighttime driving, we noted that the headlight was burned out. We contacted them and were told there was no profit available from the sale to fix the issue.

Update (2019): All went very well w/ my last appoint. Much happier w/ the service dept!

Update (2018): Service Dept issues have since been corrected (Serv adviser is no longer employed there). Have taken truck back in once so far w/ things going well, so will try again for some recalls I have, and see how it all goes.

** Again, big shout out to Bill in body shop ** Has always gone above and beyond, and is a huge credit to the company. Will be going back soon for some scratch and dent removal through our warranty.

Bought our truck here, but if at all possible, I will never take it back for service there again. Terrible experience w/ "most" of the service advisors (guys) there (forgot to book my appoint once, or even order in my parts. Another time there was going to be a long delay in getting my truck fixed, and rather than coming to let me know (I was sitting there waiting for it), I finally had to go to them after over 2 1/2 hours and finding my truck parked out on the lot when I went out for a walk, only to be initially told "Their working on it sir").

***** Five Stars for Bill in the bodyshop though ***** Fantastic service and I'll definitely go back to see them (have scratch and dent insurance on truck, and have taken the truck in the last 2 springs to get them buffed out).

I would highly recommend buying a car somewhere else. This place employs sales people that lie. The owner Mike Gignac is not only arrogant but rude. Their inventory is all over priced, do your research. I also have seen damage on new cars covered with what looks like is a brush paint. Also be careful with hidden extras being added to your sales bill here, the finance department boosts up the interest rate even when you have good credit. STAY CLEAR. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

had amazing service when I came into Richmond Chrysler last week - they were attentive and super helpful. They were not overwhelming or pushy as so many car dealerships can be. They explained all of my options to me while giving me an amazing deal.
