I called up and asked to bring my vehicle in, recently purchased at another dealership out of town, due to an engine warning light. Spoke to Richard - Service Advisor. I had to fly out to work within a couple of hours. Richard arranged an appointment, dealt with me efficiently and yet friendly, and then provided a quick delivery to the airport in time for my flight. Before I had made my final destination connection - within a few hours of drop off - I had a text from Richard confirming the problems were found and fixed - vehicle ready for pickup. All covered by warranty. Now that is service. You can't ask for better. Thank you!

Be careful when you bring your vehicle in for repair at their service department. I brought in my Jeep and what was supposed to be a simple computer reset programming on an OEM electronic aftermarket part I installed which should only take an hour to do (what Moses said), took them 3 hours instead by their so-called "expert mechanics". They kept my vehicle for an entire weekend as well.
Be careful when Bob the manager asks you what was done to your vehicle recently too. They replaced and charged me a part I recently replaced brand new half a year ago and they charged me full price. They will try and look for holes to poke at.
In all, they charged me 3x times the price of what would a local mechanic would normally charge me.

Btw,
I left a few coins in the driver's side door armrest and when I picked up my vehicle, they're all gone. I bet you it's probably that filipino kid who drives the black toyota 86.

Then when I took it in, the service team turned it around within an hour -- faster than I expected. Pretty impressive service in my opinion!

A bad day didn't turned out too bad after all. Someone rammed into my fairly new 2019 Dodge caravan and I immediately contacted Stephen from Richmond Chrysler Dodge and after all the paper work I coordinate the repaired with Bill Williams and drove off with a courtesy vehicle. After few days, repaired was done 99% to my satisfaction, Thanks to Stephen, Bill & the technician for the great repaired job.

I bought a vehicle from them 4 months ago. No doubt i was very happy from their service. I bought an extended warranty for my vehicle and they said me it can be transferred to my new car if i bought in future. After 2-3 days of my purchase i called them and said i don t need a warranty and they told me that we cannot refund it because it s final sale.
After 4 months today when i am going to get a new vehicle i got to know that warranty can not be transferred to my new vehicle. When I contacted to the dealership they told me that we can only refund the money within the 30 days purchase of warranty. They have been misguiding their customers during the purchase to sell anything.

This autoshop is amazingly BAD-CREDIT IMMIGRANT-FRIENDLY! I will forever be thankful to Kirk & Nikki for being incomparably fast & excellently accommodating in helping me out drive away my new SUV-a 2019 Nissan Rogue which I couldnt imagine I could ever have!
From the Philippines, I started to work in Vancouver as casual & unfortunately I went broke eventually. So I applied for a Consumer Proposal, shortly before I got a permanent job. 3 yrs after I got a permanent job that secures my future, I tried to apply for a car loan in different autoshops but only to feel depressed & miserable when they all turned me down because of my BAD CREDIT history.
One day I came across with this autoshop online & voila! I couldnt believe how fast Kirk Hollander in helping me out with everything! & I absolutely recommend this autoshop & Kirk & Nikki to all of you out there immigrants, non-immigrants, mga KABABAYAN!

Visited the dealership on Saturday since the tire light was on and I did not have an appointment. Was very busy at the time but Sadie took the time to come and fill air into the driver side tire. Was then told to drive around for a bit to see if the light would go off and if it didn't to come back again, but it did turn off. So glad that Sadie was there to help with her great customer service! Thanks a lot Sadie!

some of our family's complaints revolved around making a pregnant lady wait for over 4 hours to process paperwork and not even offering her a chair.

rude manager on duty, as well as him refusing to give out a prize after it was won on their prize wheel, promo at the time for buying a vehicle.

We had emailed the GM of the dealership, but was politely brushed off...

We've since bought a second minivan from the dealer out in Langley instead...

I purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier SE from this de...

I purchased a 2005 Nissan Frontier SE from this dealership in May 2015 which came with a full inspection report from their own mechanical facility. After 4 months and only 1,000 km's of very light driving, the transmission failed and the rebuild cost me over $8,000. These vehicles have a very common issue that most mechanics know all to well where the radiator fluid leaks into the transmission and destroys it. The transmission was a specific item, including the fluid, which was supposed to have been inspected. When the Transmission Shop inspected the transmission, they felt that it was very apparent that there was a high level of contamination that had been going on for quite some time meaning one of two things. Either they never inspected the vehicle as they were supposed to, or, they knew of the fluid contamination and that the transmission was on its way out and left me to deal with it. This makes sense when they refused to offer any sort of warranty on the truck.

The dealership offered no support other than to say they wouldn't do a thing and they were quite rude about it. Heed my advice and stay far, far away from any used vehicles at this dealership. I've seen the managers comments on other folks who have given poor reviews and I'm sure he will try to make his dealership sound outstanding and myself like a common criminal so beware

I had a great experience here. Been looking for a Wrangler for a while and have been in touch with almost all the Jeep dealerships in the Lower Mainland. Richmond Chrysler consistently got back to me a timely manner and was straightforward and easy to deal with. Finally found the right one at the right price, contacted them about it, and it was mine within 24 hours.

Special shout out to Dennis and Dan who worked with me on the purchase. They made the experience smooth and comfortable.

** Update since this post - I have now been called...

** Update since this post - I have now been called by the sales manager and he has informed me that instead of doing a refund they have now "accidentally" charged a second $500 to my credit card! They will be refunding both, but it will take 5 business days!

My extended family and I have been long time customers for this location usually buying a vehicle every 3-5 years. Unfortunately my most recent experience has now lead to where we all will be shopping elsewhere from now on. I live out of town and had family helping to view the vehicle before purchasing. The vehicle I placed the $500 refundable deposit on was conveniently put into the detail shop over the weekend so it could not be viewed or test driven when my family was available. Later when it was decided that I would not go through with the purchase I have been given the run around regarding my refundable deposit. It has been two weeks since I requested it back and still no refund! I've been told that it can take time to process! Yes, a few business days, but not two weeks! Also, still no return call from the sales agent since I last asked where is it! Very disappointed in the service. We will not be going back.

Wow!!!! It is shocking at how bad this dealership ...

Wow!!!! It is shocking at how bad this dealership is. Where to start, where to start...? We bought a brand new Chrysler Pacifica hybrid two months ago. First thing worth mentioning is they sold us the vehicle which already had a recall on it, which we latter discovered when we had to bring our vehicle in when the SOS emergency system was constantly dialing every 20min. We couldn't get an appointment for three days. So for three day I had tell dispatch that there was no emergency (a nightmare). Then when we finally get the vehicle in they told us it would be about an hour for us to get a diagnosis, it turned out to 6 hrs and they told us the problem was fixed. When I got in the car they didn't fix it, they told me that they had to order a new part and it would be here in three days. The part took 10 days. Needless to say I couldn't have the car keep dialing sos non-stop, so me and my wife went to the web and found some one else who had a similar problem, get ready for this solution.... Take the fuse out for the sos unit and reset the system. TADA!! Problem fixed. Not sure who they have working there but for a "trained" technician to not try and reset the system is shocking. Next this past week the engine light has turned on and today the car just died. We contacted the dealership telling them that this has been a nightmare especially since this is a brand new vehicle. Their response was that they were not willing to give us a curtesy car for our first day and that we would have to be vehicle less for the first day and only once they have assessed wether or not the repair is covered under warranty (what else could it be it's 2 months old) they would provide us with a vehicle but we would have to pay for the first day of rental. Through out this whole process they showed no signs of caring or understanding, not once did they apologize for all of our wasted time. I even told them that I would write this review and their response was "ok, have a nice day".

My recommendation is if there is a Chrysler or Jeep vehicle you are in the market for. Save yourself the chance of going through what we had to go through and buy it from another dealership. Because if something goes wrong your guess is as good as mine if they will be able to help you.

Ps. I have never taken to time to write a review, but this was definitely a exceptional circumstance of bad service through and through.

Great customer service!! A little too fast through...

Great customer service!! A little too fast through the whole process though, felt like I was just another transaction rather than a person. Maybe spend some more time getting to know what the customer is looking for, and walk them through all features and models before pushing the numbers. But all in all a great experience and I walked out driving home a new vehicle. I'm happy!!

First time booking an appt after having worst service from White Rock dealership. How Richmond could be even worse well they are! Drove all the way from north burnaby to get to service dept and was told they cant see my vehicle as the leak specialist had cancelled for the next day appts. Basically sent me away with if he isnt coming he isnt coming ...asked why they didnt call me knowing i was driving all that way to drop it off the day prior to appt. was told oh i called two other customers ...and not me!! One and day, never going back. If that s a first impression i dont dare see a followup. Jeep is not a going to get my business again.

May 27th, 2016 I purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 L...

May 27th, 2016 I purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram 3500 Longhorn with ( 67,035 kilometres ) from Varsity Chrysler in Calgary, Upon driving the vehicle back to BC the Transmission started to slip. I phoned Varsity Chrysler explained the situation, They told me to bring it to their partner store "Richmond Chrysler". After Diagnosing, Richmond Chrysler stated the transmission needed to be overhauled, ( June 15th, 2016 ). The invoice was for $3,972.69. We agreed to a settlement of $1000 on my behalf and the remaining to be covered by Varsity Chrysler as the vehicle was not warrantied due to the fact the emissions had been deleted. However, It was determined the problem was pre existing before the time of purchase. The invoice from Columbia Chrysler which I have indicates that " Aftermarket PCM Controller Installed/Been Using, DPF System Removed". I confirmed with the service manager ( Bob Macdonald ) before leaving Richmond Chrysler of what guarantee I have with the "Rebuilt Transmission " from them. He informed me I had a 2 Year Warranty/Unlimited Kilometer's.

May 16th, 2017 I phoned Richmond Chrysler informing them of the same issue once again of the transmission slipping. I asked the service consultant Matthew that before I bring this truck down to Richmond do i have warranty. He confirmed that I do in fact have warranty. He open my file from a Year ago and confirmed that this issue would be covered by the warranty. I brought the vehicle to the dealership, I had to pay for a rental vehicle myself. Not a problem. 3 Days Later I get a call from Matthew stating that I do not have warranty, They will not cover the Transmission and Serve me with a bill for $158 for diagnosing.

I refused to pay this as before making the appointment I was assured that this would be under warranty.

Now I am out $210 For a rental vehicle, $158 For Diagnosing, And a $4000 Transmission.

The truck came back in the same codition as it was 1 Year ago with current odometer reading of 113,897 kms.

All of which are within requirements.

I am asking for Richmond Chrysler to Honour their warranty and rebuild my transmission.

I have forwarded this complaint to VSA & Better Business Bureau

It seemed a little time consuming because we were t sure if we would make our afternoon appointment but, it all worked out good. The staff there were very courteous and helped me in every way. Rick is possibly the most friendly salesman we have dealt with while searching for a new vehicle. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy, as compared to other dealers across the river. From start to finish of the sale, we had all our questions answered and knew we had made the right choice when we left with our new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. We 100% recommend Richmond Chrysler, and in particular Rick as a salesman.

Took my son here to buy his first truck. Rick was okay to deal with but the truck was sent out for the box to be sprayed with the Rhino Plastic. When we picked it up they had left about two inches of the tailgate unsprayed. Worst job I have ever seen. What do you want to open up your tailgate and drop something across to get it out and it hits the two inches that was sprayed. Well you don't. They said they don't spray becasue the tailgate doesn't close properly. I called many other places that conduct this spray and they all sprayed the complete tailgate. If they don't they don't know what they are doing I was told. Also when I nought my car here I was given free oil changes for six months. Not this time I means seriously a forty thousand dollar truck and not one free oil change. Would not go back to thus dealership but I would make the trek out to Maple Ridge and deal with that Chrysler Dealer.

The service is awful, they made a copy of my key and after a couple of months it did not work and they did not want to do it again without charging (after offering this in first place) Besides they offered a pick up and drop off service, so before going for a car service I requested to be sure I was going to have it and then they told me that I needed to wait for 1 hour!!!!! I complained for all these things and none respect was shown plus any care of keeping or treating a costumer in the right way. Besides the pricing for any service is crazy!!!

I will not be returning to this dealership for any service. My past 5 years experience with the Hyundai dealership was always excellent so I was surprised here. An oil change, filters, wiper blades and $75 brake service turned into a $400 bill and then they tried to up-sell me to pay another $430 dealer recommended items that were not on the recommended maintenance list for my vehicle. I purchased this vehicle from this same dealership less than a year ago and it seems they didn t do the recommended maintenance before selling it to me otherwise I shouldn t have needed this extra work done. I picked up my van and was also surprised they didn t wash it. I thought this was standard but I guess not... until I read another review of someone else who paid $100 for some service then claimed his vehicle had excellent detailing done... was that a fake review or are they treating customers differently??

Since it was our first time to purchase a commercial vehicle, he patiently explain the pros and cons for leasing and financing, and also find the most appropriate car for our company purpose. His wonderful customer service ensured our excellent experience and smooth purchasing process. The car I bought was the make and year I wanted at a reasonable price so my heart was set on it pretty quickly. As we looked closer we noticed some dings and chips in the paint, which we pointed out to the salesmen. They were very honest about the best way to have it fixed (discouraging their body shop which has a fixed rate). They agreed on the price we offered, and although there were some additional fees in the end it wasn't enough to discourage me from getting the car when I needed a new one. I don't live in Richmond but will still go back to service my car, as it's nice it came with the VIP service, and I know the staff is friendly. Rida was very friendly and eager to help, and followed up with me after I bought the car. I'm very happy with it, and overall had a good experience with the dealership. Their long hours make them very accessible as well.

Okay, so I haven't bought anything from them in 2 ...

Okay, so I haven't bought anything from them in 2 years, I have been to angry to write a review since I sold my truck in January.

I have purchased 3 cars from them. The first time I was sold a lemon - not their fault. The second time a very awesome Charger, Yay! However, the financing kinda screwed me over a bit, and made me afraid at one point. But I moved on, I am sure it was my fault - right?

Now, the 3rd time I purchased a $20k Dodge Ram, new. So I used it for a year. Due to a very serious life situation, I had to sell it off. What I didn't realize, is that they had snuck some sort of horrid deal into my contract. Funny, not the first time. Sadly, I will now have to potentially go bankrupt. I have been told by a few I should have taken them to small claims court. I have also learned I am not the first to complete what some call a "home run" selling you tons of things you don't need, or sneaking it in. When I went to complete the payout, I didn't owe 20k, I owed 36k. Now, I get it, there are some financing things, some tax, whatever. But I was already paying for it for a year and a half, so... How in the HELL did I still owe 36k? Not one person has been able to explain this to me, but a lot of people have said I was naive to trust them 3 times, and I was. The financial fellow is named "Richard" - maybe he isn't there anymore. I am stupid, I missed things clearly. So, I will blame myself.

That being said, if you can, go somewhere else. Go get a better vehicle at another dealership, or at least, if you get this guy, review your contract, over, and over, and over. BE CAREFUL. They WILL screw you.

Also remember, lots of private insurance places will not insure your Dodge, I learned that that hard way :)

$16,000 life lesson learned, so I am passing the learning onto you!
