I visited the store because it's near where I work. I didn't expect to buy anything because I usually just buy something cheap from a department store or online. They took their time with me, showed me all the pieces I wanted to see, and showed me the difference in what they had and what I would usually buy. I found something that I think my wife will love.
I would also like to say, I have been in a lot of jewelry store that pre-judge how much money I have. I was wearing a hoodie because it was casual day at work and no one treated me like an outcast.

Went there for my first time to have a few links taken out of a tungsten bracelet and to look around for possible future purchases. The lady who helped me took the bracelet back to her jeweler only to return a few minutes later and say it was too difficult a design for them to work on it. Funny though since I stopped at Kay Jewelry at the Castleton Mall for a second opinion and they did it for me in 10 minutes... and no charge!

I walked in to find a watch for my dad and someone was immediately there to help me. My budget was $1000 - $2000. I just bought my 2nd watch from Reis and I cannot recommend them enough. I was trying to track down a model that had been recently discontinued. I originally began my search online in hopes of bargain shopping, but I could not find the reference I wanted in stock anywhere. I resigned to calling Reis expecting to pay a higher "retail" price at a brick and mortar shop - if I could buy it at all. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Specifically addressing price, Reis was on par with the best deals I found online. More importantly, these guys know watches - from Tag to Patek, from vintage Rolex to next year's IWC models. After weeks of searching, I gave Reis a call and with an hour I had the JLC Reverso I wanted on order (one of a few left, directly from Switzerland). I also feel much better about buying from Reis over an online retailer... if I have any warranty or service issues, I know where to go. And I know it won't be a headache. If you're in the market for a watch, go to Reis.
A day of window shopping resulted in purchasing two Rolex watches all because Mathew was so great and accommodating! A nice guy named Matt helped answer all my questions and was super helpful. I had my 6 yo daughter with me who was a bit bored with running errands but he was super patient, knowledgeable, and made us feel totally comfortable being there. I'm excited to have this new piece in our family (a first for us) and I'm sure Matt will continue to be helpful!

I came here to look at an engagement ring that my girlfriend had picked out. Although the sales assistant was able to pull up pictures of the ring, she was unable to find it in the store. After showing me several hideous rings and calling them "feminine" I finally got another sales assistant to find the correct ring. Although it was very pretty, it was out of my price range and I didn't want to deal with them anymore. I didn't see any way to comment on their website about customer experience, so I submitted a comment on the "contact us" section. I haven't received a response from them yet and to be honest, I never want to deal with them again. Reis Nichols seems to cater to the needs of rich old people, not younger people who are looking for something special.
I ve been going to Reis Nichols for over 20 years. I always get a friendly greeting upon entering the building. As of late Tracie and Hannah have been helping me pick out a larger diamond for my engagement ring. Their knowledge of diamonds is second to none and they are adamant in helping me get exactly what I m looking for within my budget. I highly recommend Reis Nichols for any and all your jewelry needs.

I'm from Indy, but live in Chicago. Therese Lopshire worked around my schedule so that I could pick-out the engagement ring I wanted in the limited amount of time I was in town. The ring was packaged beautifully and included a generous gift from Reis Nichols. My fiance and I will be going back to Therese to get our bands.
I went into Reis-Nichols with a very good mindset of buying a cheaper but still well built Victorinox INOX as my first real good watch. I was looking for something nice but I was very scared to walk around with something very expensive on my wrist. My man Kent couldn t have made my experience any better. I told him my budget, my funny level of paranoia and in no time he got me comfortable with a beautiful Tag Heuer Aquaracer. It s sleek, it s sharp, and it s low key. I was so happy with the absolute well rounded shopping experience I received. The difference between a good salesman and a bad one is a bad will be persistent and try to force you into a corner until you buy something and most likely regret it later. A good one is persistent but not afraid to let you walk. They know the product can sell itself and that s where Kent shined, he knows how to let people think and I respected him all for it. 5/5 great shopping experiences.
Overall, a lovely experience. Every time we've been in, they are quick to ask us if we need help, and regardless of if it's a watch battery change or a consult on an antique ring, they are non-judgemental and helpful no matter what. Recently, we've been working with Matt San Filipo on resizing and cleaning an antique engagement ring. The store is short-staffed for jewelers, so it has been taking some time, but Matt has been nothing short of incredible with communication.
I'm usually a cynic about large jewelry stores and how they can be all about the bottom line, but Reis-Nichols is really just your down-to-Earth neighborhood jeweler. Color me impressed - they've got our business for life.
The idea of shopping for an engagement ring, especially for someone like me who's never stepped foot into a jewelry store before, is terrifying. Luckily, Reis-Nichols made the experience easy and stress free. Matt San Filippo, the sales consultant I worked with, helped me create the ring I had pictured in my mind by kindly and easily explaining to me the nuances involved with clarity, color, and the other hundred things that go into an engagement ring.
Aside from Matt's warm and professional help, the whole environment was great. I enjoyed their selection of local craft beers and general splendor while shopping.

I am now a loyal Reis Nichols customer! My wife bought me a Tag Heuer watch at Jared Greenwood. She chose this specific watch because after telling the sales person about my job it was decided that a handsome, rugged watch that did not scratch and was indestructible would be best. After a couple months of wear one of the two little rubber loops that the watch band tucks into broke off, a second month the other. Jared could do nothing but send the entire watch to Switzerland for repair and it took 12 weeks to get back! The loops broke off again and Jared could do nothing but ship it off again for another 12 weeks to fix A LOOP! So I drove immediately to Reis Nichols Greenwood and even though I did not buy the watch from Reis Nichols, the woman walks it back to the repair area where they fit it with a matching thick loop for free! Now it's been 6 months, no issues with the watch! Thank you Reis Nichols!

Well... I just called them asking about their stock of Rolexs. After I was transferred to someone, I asked about a specific Daytona. He confessed that he wasn't in front of the case, but was in the backroom in front of a computer, but didn't "think" they had the one. He thought the only one they did have had a blue face. The watch I was looking for didn't come in a blue face and unfortunately, he wasn't willing to get up and go look. I would have figured a possible sale of $16,000 watch might have commanded a little more respect for the customer.. I'll pass on Reis-Nichols..

My jeweler bravely tried to save my gaudy, vintage Jordache watch (circa 1988) despite my slight, obvious discomfort at being surrounded by beautiful samples Cartier and Audemars Piguet worth more than my student loan. But he treated my childhood treasure as if it were priceless. I won't ever forget that. After driving around Indy trying to find a replacement wedding band I discovered Reis Nichols and they immediately met my expectations. Whitney was outstanding. My boyfriend and I went engagement ring shopping for the very first time this so we were very knew to almost everything ring shopping entails. We stopped at one jewelry store before coming to Reis-Nichols and we left so discouraged. We felt like the jeweler was not listening to our budget or wants, rather he was just trying to get a sale at the highest price. We decided to take one more chance and went to Reis-Nichols. When we got there we began to get discouraged again because we were told that a jeweler would be with us shortly but we just assumed, with our luck from the day, we would be overlooked. We were so wrong. Although it did take a minute to be helped, we were reassured several times by a sweet woman, Lauren, who continued to reassured us that she was doing her best to get us help and give us some pamphlet information to read while we waited. When we were able to get paired with a jeweler, Tracie, she was immediately ready to help us find whatever we came there for. We didn t realize that we re very close to closing almost as soon as she came to start with us because she never made it known that we were being those customers that come right when they are closing. When we found out and suggested we come back another day she insisted that we stay and continue. We haven t bought from them yet because we were still in the looking and searching stage, but we will absolutely be coming with Reis-Nichols when we are ready to start the purchasing process. We are so thankful for Tracie and how thoughtful she was to our needs. We never once felt like she wasn t listening to our concerns or wants. We are super new to the world of jewelry and are so thankful that we found Reis to help us navigate through it!

I purchased my engagement ring at Reis-Nichols and I have no buyer's remorse! My fiance loves her ring and I feel like I made a great investment at a great price! I have to be honest that prior to stepping into their store to purchase my engagement ring, I naturally assumed that they would be the most expensive jeweler and that I would pay a steep premium for doing business with them. I was wrong.
I shopped around with two other jewelers before deciding to purchase the center stone of the engagement ring and mounting at Reis-Nichols. Based on the parameters of the center stone and mounting that I wanted, I compared the prices from two other highly rated jewelers. Based on the color, cut (including polish, symmetry, proportion), clarity, karat weight, lack of florescence, and the number of type of inclusions, Reis provided a better center stone (and mounting) at a very competitive price. They did this all while providing a premium level of service!
Brad was the sales consultant that assisted me. He is the reason why I decided to invest in an engagement ring at Reis-Nichols and why they now have a lifetime customer in me. He was very patient with me throughout the process and was always no-pressure. I actually came into the store nine month's prior to when I purchased the engagement ring just to look around. I met Brad at that time. He showed me a few stones and rings at that time. I wasn't ready to start the process at that time, but I remember how friendly he was and how I always felt respected and never felt any pressure. This is reason I came back to Reis-Nichols and asked to work with Brad.
