- would not purchase from this store mark up too high - Employee was rude and was talking about me not realizing she didn t hang up the phone. - owner Scott when told about the experience told me the employee was one of his best
I was getting ready to purchas a Pavilion brand table chairs and a bench from them. I was provided 2 quotes with different options. I worked with an employee Sue. This was an expensive purchase and I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. When I asked Sue to make sure the freight they quoted was correct (as I had inquired from the manufacturer direct supplier in Miami ) as the price Sue quoted was $2000 higher because of freight I figured I would give them the Benifit of the doubt She was clearly not happy and thought she hung up when she didn t and in the background I heard her say swear to god this woman ......with the Pavilion quote is asking me if the freight is correct and I spoke to Scott ... etc So I called back and ask to speak to Scott one of the owners and his response was sue is one of my best employees
Clearly they do not care about customer service from owner down to the employees
While they have a nice selection of traditional hardware store goods, I think this place could be more accurately described as a department store without clothes. I come here especially for the un-equaled selection of stainless hardware, but struggle to walk out with something extra each time. I've gotten cloth napkins and foam-vinyl place-mats, and constantly struggle to leave without purchasing a new All-Clad saucepan. Their outdoor furniture selection is fun to look at, as is their selection of grills & grill-paraphernalia.
Home improvements they have everything the guys at work in there totally awesome! Will not take my business anywhere else it to Ace Hardware s on the 7 Mile island are the best Prices are reasonable why go off the island
Great selection for that object that you forgot to pack or to make that quick repair to the beach rental. Prices can be high but the convenience is worth it.
Went to buy a small BBQ that was $169.00 on line. When I special drove over 20 miles to get it, they wanted $15.00 extra for assembly. I said I will assemble it as it is nothing to assemble. They answer was " We need to get it from the W/H" I asked if I can take the display one. The manger jumped in in a rude way and said, I will have to assemble a new one. You will pay the $15.00 or go somewhere else. I did go to LOWES, got the same BBQ assembled and they gave me 10% off as they did not have the Box. Will never go to this store again.
Rude staff . Didn t realize I was in such an upper class sophisticated hardware store . I asked for help with finding a smoke detector and was not treated with any type of customer service. Maybe it was time for staff High Tea . Yes I m being sarcastic.
This is the place to stop if you forgot something at home on your trip to the beach. Can be a little pricey, but prices are rarely unreasonable. Employees are super friendly.
Great store until you have an issue with your purchase and try to return it. They run you from person to person and finally begrudgingly refund your money.
They are quick to take your money but very slow to help you when you have a problem. Too bad they've forgotten what made them great and where they came from. Maybe Lowes will come to town and help them to remember.
This is a great place for not only hardware but beach items (they have anything you need from chairs to umbrellas to sunscreen) and housewares. This is also where you can find those big rubber mallets to drive your umbrella pole into the sand so a big gust of wind doesn't sent it flying.
