Our experience was as good the second time as the first. They walked us through the process step-by-step, never missing a beat, and handled every challenge that arose along the way. They are organized, thorough, diligent, and committed to doing a great job. We couldn't be happier. If I could give 10 stars I would! I worked with Cornel, he was great at communicating everything I needed to know and answering all of my questions. My experience was far easier than I expected. I cannot recommend Suburban Mortgage enough!
My process started out fine My agent was very helpful and informative if and when I had questions. Although once we got going communication lacked, emails took longer to get replies 2 days hadn't heard from. Once I was approved 3 days before signing i ws hot with a 6k out of pocket expense after her and office reviewed my document's and said was OK the underwriter found issue where I had to come out of pocket 6k D/I ratio. Also money wire time of closing got lost so I didn't not get my.keys the day we worked towards. My home was packed up and I had no keys uoaded to get clothes to stay in hotel. Documents were being requested 2 days before signing we had all month to ask for those documents and turn in it was horrible WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I have completed several loans with Shelley Martin and her team, and every time they work hard to get it done, which is why I always return to Shelley and Debbie when I need a loan. As the industry moves forward, more documents are required. I had difficulty getting a required document in a timely manner from a third party that was required for this loan to close. Fortunately Shelley was able to put a hold on a lock that had expired. Although the final document was submitted late, Shelley was able to hold the loan long enough to complete the process. If I could give these guys less than a 1 star I would....They are a nightmare! Beware...they have an F rating at the Better Business Bureau. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get an F at the BBB? You have to be beyond shady!! They are required to go through to buy a house at Copper Canyon in Surprise....they take your money and shaft you! I was taken for $4k by these guys....BEWARE!!!!

I did a mortgage with them in 2016 and it was great. I ha e been going through refinance with them. They don t return calls or emails and expect you to have your documents in right away yet they are aware you need these and didn t provide notification and time to get such documents located. The staff is rude and it s nothing like dealing with Jim personally. Kathleen will never return your calls from the office but yet will continue to email acting like no such call was placed. Business is good today but these people need another market crash because they ve become spoiled with excess business and don t work for the customers but rather just push as many deals across the desk as they can. I for one will not use this company again nor would I recommend them.
