Great property. Excellent staff with outstanding customer service.
Our standard room was very cozy. It had an entire "living" area separate from the bedroom, making it feel like a mini suite. The different pools were nice and the service was good.
Great experience, beautiful view, great for families
Great service and friendly. Beautiful pools and great scenery. The point has many rooms to choose from.
A little run down and out of the way, but a nice place overall.
First time there, kids loved The Falls. rooms were great, front desk clerk who checked us in was awesome
We have stayed here serveral times and foolishly always look forward to relaxing in one of your many advertised hot tubs but yet they are cold every single time. Every single time. We recently booked a room for family that came into town and they had the same experience. There was one lukewarm hot tub at the Sunset Pool that had 5 people crammed into it. This resort is an overall disappointment. At some point, with the amount of money you charge for rooms, you should provide a little more than just a place to sleep.
Nice rooms. Many pools, the main pool is very cool. Good value in the off season
Absolutely gorgeous property and impeccable service!
Always have a good time here! And they try their best when anything goes wrong! The Falls and Family pools are inviting and cool
Great summer cool off.
Great place to stay and relax with kids and family! Fun water park for the kids music and food and close to home we enjoy it every time we stay!
The place looks very nice, the staff was always friendly and helpful. I was only there for a conference but could see myself staying there in the future.
Love Lookout Mountain golf course! Golf staff are amazing, displaying friendly, personable qualities while maintaining professional attention with a smile! Second to none that I've encountered.
Once you enter this place everything look fabulous! Rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. We had a dinner and a breakfast too, both wonderful!
The resort is very nice. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The resort is spead out and quite hilly. Be sure to take advantage of the shuttle if you're going to A Different Pointe of View. The night views of Phoenix are pretty wonderful.
Great views and onsite amenities, but the rooms are old and outdated.
I really liked the atmosphere of this restaurant, and the service was good, but the food was simply not good enough for the price. I ordered the New York Strip steak, and it was cooked well done although I ordered medium, and the potatoes had far too much salt, to the point that I could not even finish them. Perhaps I was unlucky, but you have been warned!
Fantastic hotel. Beautiful location, great customer service, clean rooms. 10/10
Beautiful resort be and my wife are having so much fun
Beautiful views delishisb food at both restrants great golf was a awsome visit
Room was inadequate staff was worse.
I reserved a king and when I arrived got a queen size. I asked for correction and the lady at the front desk started an argument with me in front of everyone, embarrassing to say the least. I was given a different room but identical to the previous one so was a was a waste of time to move our stuff. So I just lived with it. Then as we were at the pool clean up crew took our Bluetooth speaker which was was never found. Then to finish the stay off comes the morning, as we are still not dressed and clearly have a "do not disturb sign" on the door house keeping decides to just walk right in!!!
So unfortunately our little get away was not a success. I figured for the price and the way it was advertised it would be great place to spend the weekend with my girlfriend but unfortunately was not :/
Love this place! Great for a staycation, nice dinner or a day at the pool with the kids!
The cockroaches are the cleanest part about the place. The house cleaning don't even change the bedding because there are bed bugs
and always smell weird. One time I went there and ate breakfast, there was a fly on my food. Who eats eggs, the place is horrifying, the only thing that could agree with me are the cockroaches.
Family was staying here I was staying elsewhere.. We did eat lunch at the restaurant. All of us had salads (all different) Mine was a wedge salad with salmon. it was very good and reasonably priced.. There was 5 of us and everyone enjoyed their salads.
Very nice outdoor seating atmosphere.
Although I did not stay in the rooms, I did spend some time in the room and I would have to say (the one room I saw) definitely in need of remodel.
The parking is also really bad for the rooms up the hillside.
The multiple pool areas were nice especially the main one very resort-like.
Grounds are beautiful, the staff was extremely friendly. The pools are kept at 80+ degrees during winter so the pools were accessible. The room was clean. I m extremely picky about hotel bathrooms but this one was a definite 5 stars. Very clean. Love the separate living area. Our room faced the city so we had a nice view at night of the city lights.
Great location. Services was great. Room was beautiful with perfect lighting. Everything was well organised. WiFi was available and parking. Staff were friendly.
Room was clean, pool was nice, restaurant food was delicious, but needed more amenities for weekday visitors
Its a lil slice of Heaven, in the heart of Phoenix. You wont believe it!
My boyfriend and I stayed a weekend and the place is just amazing. The room was perfect and cozy. May I say April from Mini-Bar was very friendly, nice smile, very professional she made sure when she filled the mini fridge she stocked the hot beverages behind the cold ones and the fridge was very clean.. my boyfriend and i are planning a return visit we would love to see April from Mini-Bar again..
Everything was great. Staff was extremely friendly. Luis our waiter at Different point of view was the best waited ever. The food was delicious. The grounds are well kept. Pools are clean. Shuttle service is excellent. The spa is ah-mazing!
The service was pretty average. I played golf and the team didn't seem happy to be there.
S. and N. are different. S. response time is extremely slow. I was there for a aca.dance and didnt have any hot water! no one came to help. They did not respond to my NEED for transp. around the campus. I needed to be accomodate for diabetic reas. With such large campus, not having room service 24/7 is unacceptable, esp for the condos. The rooms were loud from being next to kids, I specifically requested a quiet ish room. I also had to pay BEFORE, HAVING to request a refund etc. Though I received a refund, I cant control the reaction from my friends at the event and when I was upset. As a lifelong Hilton Member, I could not believe this was a Hilton. I hope time will help. yeah, I will try again, maybe for a smaller event, but that day, who knows. Hope for the best
Great spot. It's on the too of this random mountain that in the middle ish of Phoenix. You have to walk uphill a bunch which is strange considering it at Arizona and it's mostly flat you never see a hill until you go to this Resort in which More
We loved staying here! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and there are lots of fun things for the family to do. We'll be back!
We were so excited for our staycation but we re sorely disappointed with Tapatio Cliffs. We checked into a room and upon inspection immediately found a bed bug infestation on the box spring. We were moved to another (equivalent but bed bug free) room and given a $50 resort credit, but the rest of our stay was mediocre at best. The family pool was over crowded with unsupervised children who we had to call hotel security on as they attempted to jump off the bridge above into the pool. On our second day we had a cabana rental at the falls but sadly the service was worse than those without a cabana rental. We waited over 90 minutes for our server to come around and another 30 to get our order, which was wrong. Rather than credit us for the wrong order, they remade it and brought it out an hour later after we had already eaten and still charged us. I would not recommend this hotel- do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else- I recommend the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
Nice hotel, great pool options. Beautiful views! The screen on one of our televisions in the room would not come on. The hotel sent service immediately and it was fixed right away. We left the room mid-morning and our room was always cleaned with fresh linens by the time we came back to get ready for lunch. Nice clean bathrooms with great lighting for makeup application! Nice, updated, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. I can't believe the price I got the room for - outstanding value!!
Very disappointed in the Hilton tapatia cliffs, this hotel gave our room towels that were wet, dirty and had a bad smell. The least they could do is wash the towel and dry it. I m here for a soccer tournament and this hotel has disappointed me greatly. Next time I m here in Phoenix I will avoid this hotel.
Staycation. Saturday overnight stay, super busy/packed. Pools were way over crowded, kids everywhere, rowdy teens and empty cups/plates all over. Pool staff/waiters were mostly chatting amongst themselves, vs trying to clean up pool messes. Lots of inebriated adults, I had to rescue a toddler from drowning as her parents drank and chatted 20' away (actually had to ask them if the child crying in my arms was there's 1st)! The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable, everything was very clean. I would return on another day, not a weekend, so I could actually relax.
Great stay employees are not very friendly especially the waitress that Ran the point of view on Friday night also the transportation could do better on Friday as well
Place is beautiful. The staff who work on the golf course who take your golf carts in are THE WORSE!!! After hole 18 my father in law started getting terrible sock on front of the drop off area. He started blacking out and went pale. I ask the staff to call 911 and they looked at me and started helping other staff. I kept yelling at them while I was on the phone with 911 to move the golf carts so the emergency response crews could see where we were at but they just kept going about their day. I MOVED THE CARTS MY DAMN SELF!!! Security manager was very nice and so was the young man who helped us. However, because of that last little moment that happened involving my father in law I would NEVER recommend this place. You could be dying and they won't even bat an eye in your direction. Also the snacks are more expensive than the beer.
Attended a conference for work here. It is absolutely Beautiful! Gorgeous suites and the service is impeccable
It's nice, has nice views and rooms. Pools are plentiful but mostly small. If busy, there will be tons of kids.
Beautifully situated on the desert hillside.. distinctive architecture and well maintained
Great value. Huge rooms and great waterpark. Best views from restaurant
Christmas buffet at the resort's Different Pointe of View was wonderful. Best buffet experience ever. And we could not have had a better table or better service. The views are truly amazing!
The place is beautiful. The rooms are big and comfortable.
The pools are great.
I have trouble getting out of the pool using the stairs. With these pools, you can walk in and out of the pools without having to use the stairs.
The staff are just amazing. They are warm and soo helpful. They made our stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you Hilton and your great staff.
We will definitely be back.
Excellent resort, beautiful views, good food and nice staff
Had a great stay. Very friendly staff, beautiful views, and the pools were not crowded. Would recommend this place to a friend.
Shuttle was awesome. Staff was great. Trash on grounds especially near pools. You get what you pay for....
I only visited the hotel for a conference. The location is very nice, they are on kind of a hill, the property is clean and with a lot of parking spots. Conference rooms and building was nice clean as well.
Room was beautiful! Nice and quiet and the back balcony had a beautiful view of the sunset. Very romantic. The only issue was finding the room and the incredibly small parking lots. But the room itself more than made up for it.
If you want a super view and super dining experience visit the point Tapatio restaurant and at the end of the day and beginning of evening. You can see from South mountain all the way to carefree with dazzle lights and city fixtures not to mention an awesome dinning experience. Check it out. Be well vacationsensei
Beautiful residences with many amusements.
So many pools are needed in the middle of the desert!
Getting a little long in the tooth stopped for a drink in the point in time
Great guest service, clean rooms, great food at their restaurant. I have always had a great time. Its an annual thing for my friends and family to go when school gets out for summer.
Love coming here, they have great rates in the summer. If you work for an airline, call their reservation department as you ll get a discount. Don t forget your badge when you visit, they will make a copy of it to verify that you actually work for said airline.
Considering the cost of almost $300 per night the experience was very disappointing. There was one guy working the front desk on a Friday night who rushed our check in. Were provided with a cheap xerox map which was hard to read and spent 20 mins looking for the room. There is an elevator but it's for staff only - this hotel is 5 stories and we were on floor 3. No brochure of hotel amenities in the room which would be helpful.
NO hot water, dirt/dust on the bed, rough towels and sheets. Confusing coffee maker that makes about 4 tablespoons of coffee. They block the Wi-Fi on your phone so you have to pay for theirs, and I even had problems using my phone in the room. Again you pay to use the room phone.
The absolute WORST part was the old bed that was painful to wake up in. You can practically feel the box springs in you back. They brought a plywood board to place under the mattress but that didn't help. Seriously?? I've stayed in holiday inns with much nicer mattresses. I live 2 miles away so i just drove home to sleep while my friend stayed. This is absolutely unacceptable and we debated whether we should ask to switch rooms on day 3 of a 4 night stay. I was so disgusted at this point I just wanted to go home. As I write this review 6 weeks later I'm still disgusted.
Also anytime I tried to find a hot tub to soothe my wrecked back from their horrible bed I couldn't because selfish people let their kids play in them for hours. Asked if there was an adult only hot tub and it was closed. The cliffside restaurant was also closed. Staff are all college kids who don't seem to have any clue about hospitality but it's not their fault Hilton is cheap. This was supposed to be a nice staycation with a friend visiting from Chicago but ended up being a disaster.
The positives about Pointe Tapatio is the suites are very large and it is a gorgeous property hence the 2 star review instead of 1 star.
We had an awesome day it started out a little rocky there was a monsoon and flooding and the hotel staff made it absolutely awesome we had the best vacation ever with accommodations and the staff helped us get comfortable in our room and on poolside ! Loved the cabana and we can t share enough gratitude for their generosity. The Hilton is top notch and they are the best at making us feel great
Gorgeous! Everyone was so genuinely friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and inviting. Beds comfortable.
The rooms well. A large pool for fun. It is not for swimming.
Rooms are comfortable, nice bathroom & shower, amazing pool that lights up at night & has waterfalls
This place is amazing. There are no words to describe....
I attended a company holiday party here, the staff was very professional and courteous. The facilities we used were very nice.
