Jack!!!!!! Was amazing, this was our second stay here at Tapatio and we are always pleased with the outcome. The staff is excellent and the room's are nice. Patrick was a delight, but Jack made an impression, he deserves a raise, hope to see him again next visit. Really great person.

Built into the cliffs, this is a full service resort that is very customer experience focused. We had a cliffside suite with a great setup and outstanding views. It is a compact but hilly resort so you can request transport to the various areas at the resort rather than walking. The cliffside rooms wouldn't be a good fit for those with strollers or mobility issues. Nine pools total, golf, & tennis.Overall well maintained. Every staff we encountered were smiling, sincere, and eager to help.

I've gone to the restaurant a couple times since I lived close to it and had a decent perception of them until I went hiking with a family member who stayed there. The surrounding natural habitat is getting destroyed with litter and broken glass from the hotel's occupants. There's a ridiculous amount of broke glass that gets more and more abundant on the ground as you get closer to the hotel and gets more sparse the further you get away. It was so bad that I had to carry my dog much of the hike; I cannot positively rate such an irresponsible establishment. Clean up after your customers please.

Nice place. Just a few too many things went wrong. Our a/c stopped working after our first night. Not so bad because it was nice and cool. The hot tub. Excuse me the whirl pool tub was cold. Not heated. So we went to another hot no again excuse me whirlpool tub. And it was hot but no bubbles. I only say whirl pool because the front desk told me they are not hot tubs they are whirlpool tubs. She had to tell me more than once. I just wanted to sit in a hot tub with my wife as we do not have our little one in town with us. Besides all that not a bad place.

We planned a back to school trip for the kids and called about 8 different times making changes and modifying, explained what the trip was for and upon arrival was told the extra passes for kids were first come first served and we were never told that. So we had to purchase a 2nd room just to get more passes. We were not told there was a $75 a night hold and only half is refunded, the room was filthy, carpet didn't look clean the garbage had stuff in it still. Our food was sub par and service so so. The only highlight of the trip was the pool. The kids loved the pools and the servers were ok except Jack, Jack was an exceptional server!

Wow, some people are simply cry babies. Anbody knows if you want peace and quiet you don't take a room by the pool. Probably 10% of the rooms or less are near the pool. I've been here twice this year and I was allowed to pick my room, if they didn't offer me one I would simply ask to speak to a manager if I requested a room with a view. I always opted for one of the rear buildings with the better views. Sometimes it felt like I was the only person staying in the whole resort. If you want stuff to do, take a short ride downtown or Scottsdale, it's not far at all but I'm from LA so were are used to driving distances to get places. . I enjoy this hotel, the staff is excellent, grounds are beautiful and the rooms are nice, clean and spacious. I prefer the peace and quiet of this resort, much better for me than the large single building hotels like those downtown or elsewhere where you have to park in a stucture or a large lot and walk half a mile to the entrance. I was able to park right in front of my suite most nights, if not, I wasn't far away. I paid 112.00/night, you are not going to beat that anywhere for a comparable property.

We stayed here for almost a week during the summer (ensure you're ready for 110+F temperatures) and we enjoyed it. There are lots of pools on site that (one is adult only) and hiking trails nearby. The event space is really nice and the casual restaurant (near the golf entrance) is surprisingly good. The rooms were nice but they were a little cramped. Then again, we didn't spend much time in the room.

Another plus is their free laundry center. Use your keycard and bring some detergent. The washers and dryers are free to use 24/7.

Such a cool layout against the cliffs and mountain side.. Great views here.. a fun pool park, hikes all around. Amazing food for corporate parties here. Worked several different ways at this property and they always treated the staff well here with extras.. feast for Kings.. good karma spreads here often. And the rooms were quite roomie.

Great resort, activities, amenities. Only advice would be to avoid if you have any mobility constraints. Lots of hills to get to rooms and activities. Shuttle operates round the clock, but still may be challenging.

This place is great for the price! Located on the top of the mountain and clean rooms with great service! We spent the day at the pool and Megan was quick to offer us service and made this visit so good! I will definitely be back thanks to the great service!

The hotel was nicely set up, the sheets were clean and the giant pool/spa area was very nice, they even have a slide. Even the food over at the pointe was extremely well made and was delightful.

Great place to visit a desert
Oasis in the city. I'd you like hiking this is the place. Trails directly from hotel into Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Offering beautiful city views and a true Az desert landscape

I've happily been a guest here many times over the years. Considering the fact that I have lived less than 2 miles from this amazing destination, for basically the last 35 years, one might assume that I'd prefer digs that were a lil further from home but, without exception, the staff at Tapatio Cliffs is second to none & it's well worth the mid-steep price tag, to be pampered & catered to, with such attention to detail & beauty like the views you'll see here.

The rooms are dated, and had a foul smell upon walking in. Almost as if someone peed everywhere and the doors stayed closed for a long time. The bathrooms had mold everywhere around the tub and the door frames were warped from water damage. The bed was so uncomfortable to sleep on and you could tell the room hadn't been vacuumed. We were promised a room where we could see the waterfalls from our bedroom but then we got knocked to a different room where you could only see the falls if you walked down to the next building. We paid $350 for a one night stay and didn't even get what we reserved. The only thing they kept saying was sorry, we hope you'll stay with us again after our renovation is completed. Ha, yea right. That's the last time we would stay there. I would rather stay at the Ritz for that price!

The only nice part of our stay was that we are at the restaurant on the campus grounds called a new point of view. The food was excellent and so was the service. They made our anniversary feel special. Next time we will just go to the restaurant instead of staying in their resort.

I have been a hilton honors member for years i was very disappointed with the customer service i recieved upon check in at this facility. If your an honors member who is accustomed to the typical experience at other hilton fine resorts which is typically phenomenal. Adjust your expectations prior to booking this facility. It is sub par. And expect less than adequate experience

The location and views of the hotel are beautiful. However, when we checked in, we were given keys to a room that was occupied still. We had to return to the front desk to get a different room. They compensated us with a bottle of champagne, but still inconvenient and awkward. Our suite was beautiful with a great view, however we found a huge cockroach in the kitchen, which was a bit of a turn off. The main pool, The Falls, was pretty dirty. Again, beautiful waterfalls and ambience, but since it had been pretty stormy here in AZ, the pools had lots of debris. They offer shuttle services since the hills are pretty steep, but expect to wait a while. We called for one to head to dinner on the resort and waited outside of our room for it to arrive, however by the time we walked down the stairs, it left. So we had to call for another. We came from east Mesa for just the weekend to getaway, so all in all, it was alright.

It's okay. The AC doesn't work, the TV didn't work properly, and the room is really dated. The sleeper couch is like sleeping on rows of bamboo. The mini fridge is in a weird spot which makes it challenging to actually open. The cabanas you can rent at the pool are pretty great.

Was a little disappointed in the rooms very dated AC technician on top of roof walking around both days, also AC unit at night sounded like a train coming through all the time. Other than that it was great experience.

This beautiful hotel nestled in the Cliffs of North Mountain Preserve is very picturesque with breathtaking views of the entire valley as it sit a top the precipice of North Mountain on 7th Street. Great pools, excellent food, very attentive staff.

Really very beautiful place, welcome and well served in everything, swimming pool near the room, shuttle service to go to the restaurant or wherever you want. Fantastic laundry service, wash and dry in a very short time, gym, sound and pool all grouped together. Very good restaurant service. Definitely a nice resort.
Very spacious rooms and really complete with any comfort. Two TVs a bedroom and bathroom sofa, giant wardrobe.
A really nice experience

Rented a cabana, which was a little pricey for what you get (6 bottles of water), but it was for a birthday and our guests enjoyed it. I was glad there was tv, so we could have a game on in the background. Service was great. Drinks a little overpriced and underpoured, but otherwise tasty. Will definitely do it again sometime.

The room was great. We loved the resort. However, there were 3 scorpions in our room. We were moved to a nicer room. The restaurant was ok. The steak was amazing, the risotto was mushy and the service was ok.

45 min to get receive fresh towels, bathroom door does not shut completely, one phone barely works, the other does not work at all. Mind you this is a suite. When making reservations and you have 4 kids you will have to have a room with 2 beds (the most expensive) just so all of your family can go to the pool. Management is rude and could careless about the guests satisfaction.
