Had this night planned for a friends birthday. Spoke with the restaurant about a cake to surprise her and they said yes we have one we can bring out since we couldn't bring one from outside. Waiter came and took our dessert order which she ordered the custard and they bring it out with a candle in it? Wheres the cake? Spoke with the waiter he said that's it, we said no, its suppose to be a cake, he sent the manager over and she said correct, that's the cake?? That's custard that she ordered not a cake. Mind you, my husband had spoke with the restaurant a few times to verify it was taken care of for nearly 2 weeks. We were very disappointed. If we knew that they didnt have a cake, we would have found a restaurant that we could have taken a cake into. Time for the check, was suppose to get 50% off and only recieved 20% off, had to deal with this also. Finally it was corrected. Just recieved final bill and they charged for wifi!! We get free wifi... also. Not sure who planned out the parking, but ridiculous. No place to park, people had a very hard time to drive through all the cars without hitting another.really was disappointed in this stay. I will say, the food was delicious. View was amazing as well.

Great clean rooms. We were suprised a couple time like being given another guests keys and walking in the wrong room, then asking to lock the snacks bar so our daughter wouldn't play with them and it was a $20 charge! But the pool was fun and location great.

Dined at A Different Pointe of View. The food, service, and views were all fantastic. However, we weren't informed that window tables are only guaranteed if you're there at first seating, despite requesting a window table during reservation. We got lucky, but almost didn't get a window table because of this; they'd do well to be more clear about that policy. I'd definitely still go back though.

We love our regular Arizona staycation experiences at Pointe Tapatio. The exceptional customer service, quality food and beverage offerings, beautiful and well-maintained facilities, and overall value make this a line item in the annual budget.

The service was absolutely not worth it I didn t even want to stay anymore after how in-compassionate our checking lady was. No refunds no sorrys not even a gift bag like everyone else got. She didn t even explain to us what was available for our stay, for it being a resort I would have just wasted my money at a regular hotel bc that s what it felt like, just a typical regular hotel that offers nothing. Very very disappointed. We where in for business and celebrating our anniversary and couldn t even do what I wanted like the spa bc the reservation was accidentally booked on the wrong night and we didn t get any help about it or any solutions! Payed for 2 nights over $400 and was only able to stay one night! and not do anything at all. No concerns or help at all from the staff..

I had really high hopes for this resort, but was extremely let down. Where do I begin? Well first of all it took 25 minutes just to check in as the front desk appeared to be short staffed, which I understand that happens but during a Pandemic masks should be required in those common areas and half the people coming through the door weren't wearing one. They also were not social distancing. Can't control everyone I know, but a staff member should have kept it more orderly and ensured guests were taking the right precautions.

Then the room - extremely small for the price, the phones didn't work properly half the time, found some hair in the shower (gross!), oh and no room service past 7pm? What kind of resort that advertises that they offer room service stops serving food at 7pm AND no breakfast was even available for room service. Very dissapointing. Then we tried to make a reservation at the on site restaurant, no one picked up the phones there till right before they opened, and then we were told they were all booked for night. Great. Then the pools... we didn't notice any staff ensuring the tables and chairs were cleaned, DURING A PANDEMIC. Just unacceptable Hilton. Then when we were in the pool, here comes a cigarette floating by. Just nasty. Expected alot more. Will not be returning.

This is my second year for a conference at this place and this year is by far the worst....it's after 4 and they don't have our rooms ready yet on top of dozens of other people.... service lady was snaughty with no sense of humor, and they charge you alot for incidentals....needless to say, 3 hour later after 7 we finally got our rooms...

Had a great experience this weekend at the point tapatio!! Everything was excellent and there seemed to have been one employee that stuck out above all his name was Paul drake! He helped us with the locations of everything. Supplied us with towels and even helped us get back to our room when we were lost. Paul drake made our experience spectacular and couldn't thank the company more for bringing people like him on to the team!

Expensive but very luxurious and they have GREAT Guest Sevices. I would give a 5 start but I didn't because on top of the $290 + tax room charge they impose a $30+ "Resort" fee. Being there in winter time there really is no resort to enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful setting this place has everything you need and want to do. Its a wonderful place for family or if you and your hubby justt want to get away. The service was good. The housekeeping crew could use some cleaning lessons and they could use some different parking going on there. The roads are very narrow it's hard for larger vehicles to get through especially when other vehicals are parked. I would recommend this to anyone going on a family vacation or just a romantic get a way with the husband.

Stayed here 3 times. Confusing layouts and steep climbs if you book certain rooms. Nice option for a staycation. Restaurant, spa and gulf resort on site. Close to Walmart, walgreens, shops and restaurants. Very clean rooms.

My husband and I stay every year for our anniversary. Always a pleasant stay. This stay we brought our kids (7, 4) and were just as pleased. Our kids were in love with it just as much as we always have.

We stayed at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio for our mini honeymoon. The service was fantastic! They sent champagne and strawberries up to our room and when we had dinner at The Pointe in Tyme everyone made sure to give us their best wishes and worked hard take our small stay very special.

What a joke! We used a LOT of points to stay here and we should have saved them for something more worth while! The rooms were to have a hot tub, a kitchen, ONE bed, and have a view. Instead we were told they do not have a hot tub (was told I must have misread it, which was not the case and when I showed them I never even got an appologie), we had 2 full sized beds (instead of 1 queen) but were told if we wanted to pay $15 more we could get an upgrade to what we actually booked for I guess, and let me tell you about the view! We had a balcony that overlooked a roof and a building housing what appeared to be propane! It was breathtaking I tell ya.. We decided to get some food and found the menues to be very small on options but figured we'd taoe a shuttle down and check them out. We walked down a path (overgrown with thorn bushes overtaking it entirely in some places) akd after waiting 25 minutes for the shuttle that runs every 15, we climbed back up the hill to our car and went off property to find dinner. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the kitchen! Apparently a dorm sized fridge half filled with their stuff and a coffee pot makes it a kitchen. The room was clean and that's about the only good thing i can say.. should have wentt to the Scottsdale Links Resort like we usually do.. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time here!'

It was a bit of a disappointment to have a 50% price increase upon arrival. The tricky advertisement doesn t disclose a horrendous $40+ resort fee the hotel charges. Thank goodness new laws require these fees are disclosed prior to booking. The resort is dated, parking can be a big challenge and the staff was hit or miss. Definitely not worth the cost.

The night time city views at the main restaurant at the Pointe Hilton are worth a visit alone. This hotel is not a newer facility, but has been maintained well and offers unique attractions that others cannot.

This visit in late October was relaxing. The property is spread across the hillside and makes for some great walks. The shuttle service was always available and a short wait. The pools were clean and always open. Staff was friendly and responsive.

Went there for a wedding, the food was great but drinks were expensive. You have to take a shuttle to go anywhere on property and it was unreliable. Sometimes it would only take a minute other times we would wait over 20 minutes.

Dirty pools, water was so clouded and gray and pool grounds are covered with ants and thrash...tiles falling off the pool decks and other deferred maintenance. I was told that that they had over booked and basically to deal with it. Our rooms a/c only cooled the front room and the bedroom was uncomfortably hot. Make matters worse my kids ended up getting sick, most likely from the pool.

I am a local and used to visit every year for a summer staycation. This hotel is constantly booked and there is not enough staff so expect a long wait to check in. Unfortunately prices have doubled and after our most recent visit we will not be returning. The Falls pool draws large crowds at all times and the water is literally green yellow and bath water warm. The pool deck has always been slick but on our most recent visit my son fell injuring his arm. They did an accident report but that was all. Apparently we are liable! This is crazy to me because if anyone was injured at my home by any fault it would be covered under my homeowner's. Regardless if a child is injured you think they could at the very least offer an ice cream. Oh and if you need Wi-Fi don't expect it to work here barely able to receive one bar ever! You're paying taxes on your room and a resort fee which will be taxed also separate from the room. $$$ is their main priority.
