PC Alliance Review

Could be better. I bought a Brother printer that stopped working after one month. CA fobbed me off to Brother in Sydney who eventually generated a Return Authorisation. Sales fobbed me off to service, who in turn fobbed me off to sales, who eventually informed me that no replacement printer was available. Net outcome, six hours wasted and an extra $100 spent on a replacement alternative. I recommend comparing with Best Deals 4 U.

Have been coming here for years! Great selection of products and awesome staff! They are always willing to help even if it means showing us where the best place to by parts they don't stock can be found!

I was excited to be getting another moniotr for my pc setup but cane to a rude awakening when i realized just how garbage their customer service/support is. It took an entire week just to find out if i was going to get a refund when i rebought an item because they "recommended" it. Wont be going through them again. However they do have cheaper offers for almost all their items unlike other computer stores which is why i didnt put them on a 1 star.

i5 NUC Ordered online Monday Night, received Wednesday morning.
Older version of the NUC, and it was discounted heavily and more so than any other retailer i could find.

Everything you could possibly want from a computer store with real knowledgebase people serving. The staff was so helpful. If you want computer gear at a good price look up computer alliance

I just bought a laptop from this store and was very happy with the service from the friendly staff in store. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and was able to answer the many questions I had. The store has a good product range at great prices. I will be back for all my IT needs and would definately recommend them.

Bought a customised computer 4 months ago. Everything was running smoothly until one day when it started to not work. Brought it in, asked to put into service. 2 days later, all fixed with new components, free of charge from warranty.

Heaps of praise for these guys. They stepped in to help when HP were letting me down with a warranty claim. Computer Alliance came to the rescue. Thanks team!

Excellent service from a computer shop, as good as it gets. Alex was super helpful, even offers to help carry stuff to your car. Will generally price match others. No silly card surcharges. Good opening hours. Staff very knowledgeable but can depend on who you get. Place is quite busy on weekends.

My experience with Computer alliance has always been positive until today. I was served by a staff called Michael Duff, he was very impatient & rude.

I kindly asked him to help me check a keyboard price on their competitor's website just wanting to make sure I got the best deal possible, he reluctantly did so and sarcastically offered to price match the competitor's price even their price is more expensive. After I declined and ready to pay, he walked to the counter and almost smashed the keyboard on the counter, I questioned his attitude on the spot, he just told me that he got other customers to attend.

That is the most unacceptable customer service I ever seen!

Even during covid-19 these people are amazing, efficient and professional, as usual.

Have always been good to me, can be abit chaotic when there's alot of people but at least they are trustworthy.

Always friendly, always helpful. Great location, easy to get to. If they do not have the part, are very helpful in ensuring you got your item or give you several helpful choices. Would not go anywhere else.

Shane and the team quickly sorted out a problem with my installation of the CPU and motherboard, which I bought thru the ebay store. I bought the parts for my birthday a week ahead, encountered the problem on the weekend and emailed Shane and got a reply right away on Sunday morning! I shipped the parts back to the shop in QLD and got a response right away after it was returned! Amazing! I could not recommend these guys enough, they've won me over my local computer stores (MSY, Mwave, umart etc) in Sydney, where it took me an hour to line up and another hour waiting for the parts to came out of their warehouse. I was getting faster service in QLD than in Sydney! BIG thanks for Shane and the team!

They are good and quick- however I dropped one star due to unprofessional tone of email I got from one of their sales person- I am happy to disclose the person s name to give him a chance to improve his skills-

Bought 2 monitors. Screens arrived 2.5 working days later. Qld to vic. Sent an email enquire on the weekend regarding another matter, quick same day reply.
Very happy, highly recommend.

Great customee sevice and reasonably priced products

Very disappointed. My partner phoned this morning needing some advice on his computer. He only asked 1 question before being cut off and told by the tech that he couldnt help him anymore as he had 10 other customers on hold. I understand times are busy at the moment but my partner was a customer and thats not fair. You just lost a loyal customer and $$$ because of your lack of service.

Just want to shout out to will Thompson at Computer alliance. Will is an absolutely legend and a great asset to Comp Alliance. His product knowledge is undoubtedly at an elite level. Great work matey. Really appreciate your assistance and knowledge which has led to our confident decision and purchase.

I have been shopping in Computer Alliance for about 8 years. Since they started using two girls at the front desk, my experience has never been good. I remember one time, one of them who wears glasses couldn't find the USB keys I ordered. She spent a good 15 minutes on checking each drawer. After her colleague told her where the stuff was, she unboxed them and shelved them first instead of serving me first. Guess what she said to me after she turned around? "Oh look, I found them!" instead of "Sorry keep you waiting..." What was I supposed to reply. "Oh thank you so much. you are a champion!". "Are you fuxxing serious?????!"

She is a fuxxing stupid b1tch who doesn't have any idea what customer service is. My God! Both those chicks are fuxxing hopeless. No smile, no thank you. I made my decision that I will never ever step into that store again.

Prompt service, good communication. Item was slightly cheaper than the competition. Would certainly use again.

Had another amazing experience . Dealt with Bernie again , spoke with him about the upgrades I needed within my price range .Bernie went through the pro's n con's of the items we discussed . He was very knowledgeable, very suggestive on items that may of been better, appreciative of continued business.Thanks Bernie and the team at computer alliance . Will definitely be back again

Great range at great prices. Staff i've delt with had geat knowledge and experience. Worked fast to rectify a warranty issue i had not long ago and recieved a timely result. Would recommend them and wish there was a store close to me.

This shop stocks all the pc compontents I have ever needed. They slso sell laptops and pre bult desktop computers. This place is clean and the staff are frirndly and helpful. They do not try and sell you the most expensive thing there, they listen to what you need and then recommend a few different options that are generally affordable.

I always buy from Computer Alliance simply because of their excellent pricing and staff with good knowledge.

Plenty of staff to help you out. Friendly and prompt service provided. Display stick was a little disappointing.

It's an hour ground yep then I need something straight away but it's worth it. Another place that's closer, U know who they are reduce standard warrantee durations which I don't like.

My number one source of pc components and general consumer electronics. If you know what you're buying this is the place to get it.

Went into store to discuss a refund with a gentlemen called Ash and right off the bat he needs to remember to represent his company without being so blunt and rude. During transaction said "maybe you should buy somewhere else". Great establishment, but very disappointed in him.

Fast friendly customer service with reasonable pricing

I went into Computer Alliance to get a few things for my computer. They always have a great range of products at good prices.

The staff member that served me was very arrogant and unhelpful. I don't know a whole lot about computers so whenever I asked a question, he would give a rude smart-alec answer.

I found this to be a reoccurring trend after reading reviews.

Friendly staff. Good amount of product. Better service than Umart which wins my business.

Three day turn-around as stated for custom system builds and a demo of said system when picking it up. Would shop there again.

Edit: On return occasions there sales personnel have been really poor. Got a sarcastic chuckle from the "Asian" staff member because I forgot to lookup my pc case beforehand.

Been going here on and off for years, great service, never had a problem with them. My girlfriend recently bought a laptop, ended up not working out of the box, they replaced it without fuss. Honestly my favourite computer store :)

I have always found Computer Alliance staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. Their range and price are very reasonable for a bricks and mortar store as well.

Great store for local pickup of pc and general computer part pickup

I visited Computer Alliance a couple of days ago and I could not have been more impressed with the quality of service. The staff were friendly, helpful and downright genuine. They had all of the necessary pieces I required and they even helped me decide on a keyboard and mouse I had been eyeing off.

If you're looking for a computer store that has competitive prices, huge range of stock and staff that ACTUALLY ASSIST YOU, Computer Alliance is the place to go.

Staff are very friendly both in person and over the phone.
Great solutions to problems, and always have a substitute if they don't stock the particular item you're looking for.

Always find the service and attention to detail exceptional. The staff on the floor are knowledgeable and take the time to listen to what you are after and to supply what you are looking for. After sales service is excellent. We use computer alliance for our business purchases and always find them to be prompt with delivery and stock quality is excellent.

NEVER making that mistake again.

I bought an NVME SSD, couldn't fit it into my build, and brought it back for a refund.

It took the service desk 45 minutes to get through two customers. Myself and another got so sick of waiting we literally sat crosslegged on the floor!

They FINALLY get to me, and of course they can't make it easy. Since the box has been opened, they can't refund the full amount. A 10% "RESHELVING FEE" applies. Never mind the drive was never actually installed; you opened the box, so no full refund.

Fine. Could they at LEAST process the refund quickly?
Nope! The attendant vanished for another 5 or so minutes, only to send someone ELSE out to hand me to someone else who printed paper and signed it.

Absolutely hopeless.

Fantastic service, especially from Anthony. I wish these guys were closer to the Sunshine Coast! I was making a fairly major purchase, and the price was fantastic (way cheaper than I found anywhere else in store or online). Anthony made it extremely easy for me to order over the phone and to my delight it was in store next day. Super friendly and courteous service from Anthony and other members of the team when I arrived to collect.

I bought a tablet from them online. The service was excellent, tablet arrived in a few days. Needed to call twice on the phone to ask questions and in each time whoever answered (James I remember!) was absolutely helpful and friendly. Will not hesitate to buy again and recommend family and friends.

Bought 10 PC's at $3500 each for work have had nothing but problems with them 3 came DOE. One arrived not even put together correctly and another the liquid cooling unit exploded on it.
You think being a business customer you get preferential treatment as your spending large sums of money, nope it took them a week just to look at the PC then they sent it back to us with out the graphics card and said they sent it off to the manufacture to look at and it will take a month to get back.
Sorry not exceptable for a business not to have a computer out of action for a week let alone a month we have now given them the flick and will be going with dell or HP, so if your a business and thinking about getting PC's off these clowns i would avoid at all costs!

a really long weight followed by bad customer service. they used to be good, not sure what happened to these guys.

The service at computer alliance is unmatched. Joel at the parts and service desk helped me fix my new $3k computer in a matter of minutes twice in one week. Incredible work.

Found my online experience very good with the team at computer alliance. From my initial inquires pre purchase to after sale questions, always received prompt informative responses.

I ve been looking for a shop like this for a long long time.
Absolutely friendly staff, Great service, they keep products in stock and by chance they don t have something they can organise it easily!
The staffs knowledge about products is fantastic, I could chat to the guys here forever!
Also if you have a problem with your purchase they are happy to help sort it out!
Also the price on their products they actually beat online shop prices like Umart who I now will never go to again.

I d also like to point out the guy that served me, David is a absolute top bloke, Friendly to talk to, he hooked me up with my new Razer tech. And in a few weeks I ll be organising a pc swap to a new case and organise a new SSD Thank you guys so much!

Nice store. Reasonable prices. My experiences have been mainly positive. I bought a monitor which had a dead pixel. It was swapped over straight away. Every time I've been there its always been busy and theres usually a bit of a wait to be served. Otherwise no issues.

Dropped my pc off for assembly. Was promised a call back when it was finished. Never gave me a call back and I ended up having to come and find out if it was finished myself. Overall kind of sloppy but hey, got the job done at least .

The stuff you get from these guys a is great. Gets a little hectic inside, and you can wait long term, but they've never tried to rip me off. So I use them a lot

For a place with so many staff the wait time to get served is appaling, great product range and decent pricing but at one stage was starting to think it would have been quicker to order online.

Product was available. Click & collect was efficient

Quality products, and staff who know their stuff. Only issue is queues can take a while because they are so popular. And also waiting for staff to be free to help when you're browsing the shop floor. But the products are reliable at a great price. Worth the wait.

Excellent service. It usually takes at least three days to get any deliveries from Brisbane. I ordered late Wednesday night and had the laptop by midday Friday, had it all up and running that night.
Will definitely use this company again.

Changed from rating of 4. Needing a fan cable to finish my build, I was talking to a rep on the phone and placed and order. I told him I was in my car on the way, and he told me that it would be there for pickup. Arrived at 4:02pm and was told shop is shut and EFTPOS was shutdown, so I couldn't get my cable. It would have been nice for the sales rep to remind me that they were shutting in 10 minutes, might have saved me the drive.

I must have spent around $10,000 in that store over the years. So, I won't be spending another cent there. All over 2 minutes.
