The worst customer service in history!!! The guy with tatoos on his left forearm has a massive attitude problem, absolute tool. Never in my life have my wife & I been treated so badly, no wonder he doesn't wear a name tag. Was looking at getting them to custom build an expensive pc, but if I had to deal with that guy again I'd rather bang my head against a brick wall for an hour, kick my toe against a door & uppercut myself. Enter at your own risk, customer service is disgraceful.

Friendly staff, quick service and an abundance of products to suit your computing needs.

Good prices. Has many items on show. Had to re-edit my post great to see not only do they care about their customers but from what I see their staff too during these trying times. Will definitely be shopping there again. A+++

I purchased a laptop from these guys who were cheaper than anywhere else. After making the purchase, they later informed me that they had started there 15% off sale and they would reimburse me some money or offer shop credit. Impressive!

Been going to Computer Alliance for more than 15 years. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and the best prices in Brisbane. The only computer store I would ever go to.

Nice little store with plenty of monitors and peripherals on display to look at. Staff are often great at technical advice and finding what you need.
They do occasionally have promotions at low prices, but the majority of stock is priced slightly above their competitors.

The extra cost is worth it however to those who prefer better customer service or need help deciding what works best for them.

Excellent staff support with an awesome atmosphere. A friendly woman helped me pick my parts and was assembled quickly and completed on time. I have no idea why it is rated so poorly but nonetheless, easily one of the best computer stores out there!

I have been a customer for years. I'm just mentioning how my computer-illiterate mother needed a minor fix when I was not available to assist: she brought the computer to Computer Alliance and they helped her out with service beyond expectations. So I just want to say thanks. When I need an upgrade (very soon) I will be coming back to you. I would recommend Computer Alliance to everyone.

very helpful, and prompt reply every time I ask questions, even during the Easter holiday, still can get back to me through Messenger. I don't know too much about the computer, the consultant gave me very professional suggestion with patience. from putting order till getting the products on hands, it only took 3 business days during this Covid-19 period. I ordered my first computer, and my husband is so sanctified with it and order another one for himself . (our order is Lenovo ThinkCentre M720Q Tiny Core i5 SFF Desktop Win 10 Pro 10T7008TAU), very good one.

Wow! This computer business is a slick well-oiled machine. Impressive! Firstly we were impressed with their covid safety protocols instore. Not a half-hearted attempt at getting things right but serious and strict. Top marks just for demonstrating respect for Public Health recommendations in a pandemic. As for the shopping experience the ease of ordering, advice given, order collection and everything in between was so spectacularly professional. Absolutely 100% painless experience...and terrific prices!! They are definitely worth a trip even if you don't live in Brisbane.

Computer Alliance is a very handy computer store in Brisbane with a wide range of equipment. Each time I have visited for a variety of different companies staff have been helpful and were not driving a major sales push.

I have also purchased online and the process is quick, simple and easy.

Fair prices, friendly and efficient services, organised and didnt keep me waiting. A simple and stressless shopping experience.

Had a motherboard we needed testing, the support team was more then willing to help us out and test with a cpu and ram, which was truely above and beyond. Bought all my new PC parts at reasonable prices with a super friendly team, all in all fantastic experience, great people. Special shout-out to David and Benny

Staff are helpful which is what you want. Stock is usually there. Rarely have I gone in and not been able to buy what I want. Website is one of the best around Brisbane. Prices are standard, things can be found cheaper but you can't beat the staff, website, stock and ease of purchase. For all that the extra $10 is worth it.

Store manager cancelled order without checking and confirming. Blames it on their system that cant see which market place, ebay or Amazon it came via and just cancels anyway. Refuses to rectify and just keeps blaming THEIR system, cant be undone. And this is their sales manager Craig. What happened to customer service. Lost my business and hope others see this as well

A good number of staff and decent prices. Good hours as well on the weekend. Staff are helpful even though they might not be experts in everything.

Ordered modified notebook on a Friday through a very helpful salesperson over email. They got it ready over the weekend and I was able to pick it up Monday. Good price too

Still simply the best service of any computer store (Any retail ) I have seen.

Customer service can be condescending. They always have a great variety of stock though, so i can always come here if there's any nifty cables or adapters i need.

Excellent advice from top quality staff. You pay a little more I think but your needs are met so this makes it worth it. I'm very happy with this company, they fixed the problems that the worthless staff at Umart milton caused me, the latter ripping me off by almost 2 grand.

Bought a motherboard and new CPU - the staff happily flashed a new BIOS for me to ensure it would work flawlessly. Great customer service.

refused to take back a computer monitor with a clear factory default (scratch) one week after purchase. I've spent 1000's with these guys but I can't justify keeping my business here. Their technicians have also on occasion treated my mother rudely due to her lack of computer knowledge. Avoid like the plague.

Poor customer service. They just want your money without being concerned about actually helping you.

Staff were able to help me find what i needed straight away, very friendly.

Terrible customer service, approached the front door, had a man come out spoke very aggressively telling us to call up to make orders, i simply asked what he said, and he said cant you read and closed the door.
Will not be coming back here, by the way the man was tall and skinny with long blonde hair.

I honestly think a poltergeist would give better customer service here. I virtually felt that I was non existent to these people.

Ordered late saturday night, Was ready for collection within the first 20 mins of opening.. was $70 cheaper than umart on a stocked item.
Worth the 15 min Detour for sure.

Gave them 2 stars instead of 1 for price and sales staff are okay.

After sales service / support is beyond a joke.

I purchased a new laptop on monday the26 of june , and on the original quote it came with a bluetooth mouse,but they supplied me with a wireless mouse, as I don;t know a lot about computers I opened the package and tried to connect the mouse with bluetooth and it would not connect ,so I took it back the next day, the refused to change it as I had opened it, so I had to buy a proper blue tooth mouse , this is very bad service, our family have purchased numerous computers from computer alliance ,obviously loyalty does not mean anything to them,we were going to purchase another in the next few months but will be going somewhere else as computer alliance can;t be trusted , and their customer service stinks,think TWICE before purchasing a product from them.

Always friendly helpful staff, and I mean always. I was there in a busy period and noticed how everybody was treated in a friendly manner. This shop is the only place I get any hardware, sure it is further to travel for me but not only the sales service is great, but the after sales service is exceptional.

Helpful staff with extensive knowledge and competitive prices

Rang them yesterday and asked if they had a chroma screen in stock. Yes they replied, plenty. So drove the 75 Kms from the Gold Coast to buy one. However they would not sell it to me because I would not give them my mobile number. I was told its against company policy! Give the place a wide berth. It will be interesting to get some feedback from Consumer Affairs.

I can't speak about their sales as I ordered online.
However, their service was fantastic, super friendly and helped solve my problems.

We've bought plenty of gear from this store, the staff and friendly and knowledgeable, there is plenty of range and the prices are fantastic. I'm not a computer nutter so it helps to talk to people at this store who know their stuff. Tip: avoid going on a weekend, it's popular so there's a big line. Free parking too.

As a business customer, I love the customer service and support you get.

Worst customer experience. Wanted to purchase a new keyboard, which was in excess of $200. As there are three choices in the types of keys the same keyboard come in, I asked if I can feel the difference between them. I was told no. I had to choose one blindly and purchase it as they had no models on the floor. I was fine with this, although a bit odd, I then said after I paid for it and it's not what I like, could I exchange it? NO again, as he claims he doesn't do refunds for change of mind! So I said don't you think the client should have the option to inspect the three different products before handing over cash? His response was to find a shop that sell it as well and test it there, then purchase it from him! What a joke. Take your money elsewhere, the level of arrogance the staff have is beyond belief.

Dropped my tower in for repair (assembled and purchased there 7 years previously). Found terminal corrosion and sorted it for minimal cost within 4 days. Also recommended new video card. Excellent service, price and honesty. They have my total confidence and loyalty.

Bought a mother board and cpu from these guys. Cheapest local shop. 2 weeks later cpu died took it back and two hours later Joel had it replaced. Was amazed at the service thank goodness I bought local who knows what I would have done if I had bought it on the internet.

I was served by David Foster who helped me build the pc of my dreams. The pc had some teething issues that wasted alot of my time. I was furious but David made sure i was looked after and worked with me and the service team to achieve results that satasfied me. ACL wise this store has done the right thing for all of my product issues now and in the past. I have next to no time to waste and the service team manager and David Foster have really shown me how much i can trust this shop. Most staff are friendly and knowledgable. Some of the service staff are iffy but seemed much better my second visit. They probly deal with silly customers all day lol. Well done computer alliance for satisfying a customer as fusy as me! 5 stars

Cheap competitive prices. Had a usb broken on a case i brought. Phoned ahead of my huge drive to pick up an order to check if everything was in stock. Got there and the only case they had for me was opened. Looked ok but ended up having a broken usb port. As if im going to pull apart the pc i built to return a case they dont have any more in stock of. Totally not worth the 5 dollar discount they gave me.

Didn't know this place existed but I'll be shopping for gamer related accessories here from now on! Good gear, good price, nice selection also.
Edit: I have since bought a high end gaming PC build from Computer Alliance and it was so easy.
I spent months building it online with multiple stores and even considered buying from overseas to build myself but when doing the final pricing for a complete build Computer Alliance came it as one of the cheapest and they are down the road from me so if, heaven forbid, I need to replace parts for warranties etc I don't have to struggle with interstate/inter-country shipping.

Good and friendly service, prices comparable to others for most things. Good amount of stock on display too.

I recommend buying from these guys. My laptop I had ordered through them was out of stock, but Adam the Sales Consultant, did his best to speed things up in order to get it to me before a specific date. Great price, great product, great customer service.

Been shopping here for over 10 years. Great competitive prices and good service. The neatness and anal-retentativeness of their computer builds cable management is unmatched.

Computer alliance have everything you could want! I still talk about the experience I had over a year ago where the sales guy hadn t seen the laptop I was after out of the box, he was just as impressed as I was with it!

i bought a laptop from here a few years ago... and let me start, the customer service wasn't great the guy obviously didn't want to be there, i knew what i wanted (a laptop with a SSD) so i picked one of their laptops and got the upgrade, well they obviously didn't put the screws back in the laptop correctly as 8 months later i only had 2 screws in the bottom with the other 2 starting to come out... the audio stopped working shortly after, and now of a sudden the screen has stopped working... for what i paid for, piss poor performance..

I was picking up some parts for a (very technically proficient) friend who wants to build a computer. He instructed me not to change any parts if prompted to do so by the staff - and I can see why.
These guys nit picked at least half the items on the list. It wasn't even like they were trying to help, just extremely condescending "why are you getting X, thats terrible, you should be getting Y instead."
Even after I explained to them that I was getting them for a friend and that I was not to change any of the parts, they still banded together like Hyenas to tear apart the messenger.
Maybe Computer Arrogance is a better name for these guys...

Took my PC tower in for upgrade and the repair man was very efficient, polite, helpful and able to get it done within 30 mins. So I am very pleased.

Great products, great service and no problems with returns or repairs.

Charged a $20 fee to return a screen that didn t work. Told when purchasing that I would get a full refund if there were any issues. No care for customer satisfaction. Dont shop here

Bought faulty equipment from them for the second and last time. Now I have to drive all the way back and return yet another bit of dodgey gear. The 3 squeezers at the front counter sit there and compare zit sizes (giggling like schoolgirls) while the customers wonder around the store scratching their heads. Ok range, great parking.....umm.....that's about it. Just have to say it again.....SERVICE IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!

I dislike this place. But i used to like it 10 years ago. Knowadays the only issue is the workers there. They are arogants.. i wanted to buy a cleanser for clean the minitor and they made me wait 10minutes to print out a form after i paid where they wanted to know my name and adress just buy buying a 5 dollar spray that i needed for my monitor. Why would they want to know name and adrewss... tis not like i need warranty from a tiny spray with a cloth. Stupid people. And also i ask i wanted to see diferent tablets and they didnt help me because they didnt no what they where doing. The great attitute they have stinks. I would not recommend coming back here. Try Umart at least the asians knows how to built u a good system. not like this lots at alliance.. they need to stop this attitute. They are arogants most of the times like ignorants. Its how stupid the place is. Not because the store. But because the workers there has this horrible attitute. At least Umart does much better.

I have been using CA for a few years now. Their Customer service was initially horrendous, now however it has become much better. Still needs work but the people there are very helpful. Best to go in early so you don't get held up in the que.
