Great for scavenger hunting and pinching pennies. Clean facility and friendly staff. I went to find costume items and props, but I also found a shirt for work. The added benefit is that a purchase helps to fund social programs, making our neighbors healthier.

Actually, I went to the donation center with a U-Haul full of donations. Thanks to the employees for unloading quickly so I could continue the big 2020 basement clean-up that will still 2021 off in an organized, clean mindset!

I ve been a customer of Goodwill for several years. I am a regular customer on University Parkway, as well as other locations near me. Lately I ve noticed a difference in the staff in this store, not for the better. They no longer seem to enjoy their jobs. I think there s new management, I saw some new unfriendly faces. There was a nice Spanish looking young lady who always used to smile and joke with the customers , which I really enjoyed. I haven t seen her in a couple of days. She was an assistant manager, I think. I hope she s just on vacation. She was good for the employees moral also. It helps when your employees see you being cheerful and friendly, it s called leading by example. There are also a few other people that I no longer see there that were friendly and helpful as well. I hope their on vacation too. They need to hurry back!!

My favorite Goodwill in Winston Salem. They have a great selection of stuff. I remember it before they added more space to it (i.e. the bookstore/cafe).

Their book selection has been reduced throughout the years and the cafe they opened a few years back is no longer opened.

I can't find cool things like I used to a few years back. But I still like going there. Staff is okay.

This was definitely one of the most disappointing Goodwills I've ever been to they had nearly nothing on the Shelves. They opened about 15 minutes late as well because they couldn't figure out how to open the door the problem with the door is that they locked it instead of unlocking it so it wasn't able to open it took two people to figure this out. I can't say that I recommend this to anyone.

Their Sirius radio channel has played the same FOUR loud boring pop songs for, n/k, like six months. I stopped going to this one even tho it's convenient and big. Also loud, crowded, too many kids running wild, dirty bathrooms.

This particular Goodwill needs to get a reality check on their prices. They are outrageous. Lots to find, but that's because everything is overpriced! Usually a cluttered mess and unfriendly employees. You get all these things donated to you for free and you want to charge insane prices. Job training or not. The other goodwill stores in this area aren't like that. Example: today I was looking for Mason jars for my paints. First one I picked up was $4!!! Are you crazy? You can get 8-12 pks at Walmart for around $10. Also constantly see Dollar Tree items for 3-4x more. I will not come back to this location until prices are back to normal. Used to be my favorite one, but I won't pay prices like yours for used items.

My favorite Goodwill. What a huge selection and great prices! You need time to look around for sure! For the most part the staff is kind and friendly. The last time I was in here one of the employees cussed me out for taking my cart into the dressing room. But the manager was so sweet about it and actually fired her on the spot.... oh, and I got my clothing for free!!

As always I am finding treasures at this store. Most of the staff is very courteous, sweet and friendly. Not only do I find bargains for me, my children, grandchildren and friends. I am also very glad to contribute to the cause.
