mid range prices, very good place to repair or upgrade your PC.
They know what they are upto.
Kind of busy, always take a bit of time to get served.

I had previously purchased a number of items here that were quite good with the service being ok as well; this was a few years ago.

My recent purchase was an awful experience.

1) I paid for my product, however when my girlfriend went in to pick it up for me, they said it was not paid for and charged her again, it was an experience trying to get a refund. The issue was that their data base had a duplicate entry for me as a customer.

2) I wanted them to install my old hard drive as a slave device, so I would have my old data available. They just wiped it, so my old data is gone.

3) The computer has broken down twice already; I did not bother to take it back there because it is quite far from my house and from the other comments on this thread it clear that Computer Alliance no longer care about customers.

Honestly the best computer store I've ever had the pleasure of purchasing from. Everytime I've ordered from them they've managed to get me my package from Queensland to Sydney the very next day.

the store has many bargains. Things can be ordered online too. Lots off staff available so you don't have to wait long to be served. Staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. There are lots of parking. The warehouse is also on site so things can be brought to you straight away of it is not available in the shelf. The store is nice and cool for those hot summer days. Love it!

Rough calculations done , got my details for the new arrival products (graphic cards) to call me back but It has been more than a year and never got call from them. Thanks anyway

I am extremely disappointed with my service here. Spent $1300 here on a brand new pc. When i received it after a week and half delivery time I set it all up and it didn't turn on. I thought, simple error. I'll call the tech support and sort it out. After being in the phone to tech support for 40 minutes my issue was not resolved and I was forced to send it back to them. After 2 weeks of waiting AGAIN they sent it back to me, so I plugged it, and tried to turn it on again. Once again it didn't turn on, I received it on Sunday so I have to wait another day just to call tech support to sort this issue out. Extremely poor service. Will be asking for a full refund if it doesn't work

Great selection of products with competitive pricing. Customer service could be improved a lot! It is not great to walk into a store and be looked down on by the customer services representative for having a different view than them. It has been like this for the over 10 years. Pick it up guys.

Highly recommend Computer Alliance for their exceptional customer service. I ordered a monitor online and picked it up a few hours later. Turns out the monitor had a stuck pixel centre left of the screen. I was annoyed and wasn't sure if it could be fixed or replaced so I contacted Samsung Australia for advice and they told me to contact the retailer. I emailed Computer Alliance and they responded within a few hours telling me to bring the monitor back to the store so they can have a look. I took it back to the store and Joel had a look and confirm that there is a stuck pixel and gave me a replacement monitor. The replacement monitor has no dead/stuck pixels so really happy with the outcome and very impress with Computer Alliance. I will be buying more stuff from them in the future.

I've been shopping with Computer Alliance for 5 years. I always get great advise and they have a big showroom with heaps on display. They helped me design my new gaming PC so I could get the best performance for my budget. I'm about to use the website to buy a new headset and use PayPal.

Pros: Big shop, lots of stock, great service with low prices.
Cons: Very busy on the weekend.

Umart is better if you're technical, computer alliance if you're non-technical. I've had to wait a long time (30-45min+) on multiple occasions for service and support due to the noobs. Once there was a woman claiming the modem she bought didn't work because her laptop didn't have Internet. After talking to her for a long time the staff were able to deduct she hadn't connected the modem to the laptop and didn't have an ISP either. Another time someone claimed they didn't get software because they couldn't find the dvd but they had a licence key and instructions for the download from Microsoft all along. Another time someone didn't know how to reinstall windows. These type of people can really clog the store up.

I do not understand a thing about computers! When I called Computer Alliance the guy I spoke to was so helpful and didn't make me feel silly for not understanding what I needed for my situation. Will definitely make my purchases here. Thank you

My 2 tb HDD was completely broken so I took my PC in to repair it. When I received my PC, they had replaced the 2 tb HDD with a 1 tb HDD. Didn't seem like much of a problem at the time but it's stuffed me up now.

I visited Computer Alliance for the first time this week. I had just purchased a gaming PC and needed the headset, mouse, keyboard and monitor.

As soon as I entered the store I was approached by Brett, who took me to his desk to discuss options. I had performed some research prior to arriving so was pleased when Brett steered me in the same direction, even starting with cheaper options and allowing me to upgrade at my leisure. This was a pleasant change from having to fend off the up-sell or sales pitch.

Again, as we individually discussed each item, Brett would seek opinions from his colleagues which, on occasion, differed from his own. This was to highlight the personal preference involved when selecting gaming equipment. It also allowed me to further the conversation to determine which item best suited my needs.

Best of all, the prices were reasonable too which, when complemented with the objective and helpful service, guaranteed the successful sale.

Thank you Computer Alliance, rest assured we'll meet again.

It was my first time using this store but it turned out to be the worst experience. I don t understand how there are reviews that says they have great customer service when clearly they don t know the meaning of it. When i went in i was there were no one in there other than three employees so i walked towards the middle and while doing so i was told to stand in the rectangle area provided so i stood there while telling the guy my order number. Other employee went and grabbed my order and he put it on the top of a box 2-3m away from me. I remember ordering two fans and he only brought out 1 box so i just asked the guy who i told my order number is that what im getting? And he immediately goes in passive agressive defensive mode and says you ordered that and thats what you are getting im just a guy who brings out what you ordered so i walked out of my rectangle box to grab my order and check and he then tells me off saying i should stay in the rectangle area. I left o some other words we exchanged but it is definitely not friendly or how they should treat a customer. Im paying for the good and you are delivering a service but it seems like im getting the treatment of a begger

3 trips to and from the store for the monitor I purchased.
1st trip 20/5/2020 pick up monitor I purchased - found issue with monitor Dead on Arrival (DOA)

2nd trip 21/5/2020 for their CA techs to assess

3rd trip 25/5/2020 CA techs were able to replicate issue and I requested replacement, picked up monitor and returned home to find the same issue.

I contacted service support - they said it was a new monitor and it was for me to return and get a refund..

Each trip to and from is 40 minutes, takes me away from my job, takes my time and petrol. also mentally drains..

They offered a refund and an Australian Post barcode for me to print and return the monitor..

I ordered a 1Gb graphics card, since it was not in it, I received a call which was about it not being available yet. I then agreed and changed it to a same value Nvidia one, i got a call the next day saying" we can't find them", okay???. I was then asked if I wanted a Gigabyte 1gb graphics card, but i would have to pay an extra $6, after feeling a bit agitated i looked up the product and it was actually cheaper then i was told -_-. I have asked for a refund and no reply has been given yet. First time customer and this happens.Now awaiting my refund,

I was sold the incorrect item and the sales guy opened the packaging to check content before I walked out the door I didnt' realise this until I got home went back the following weekend and was charged a $40 restrocking fee on a $400 item I would never shop at this store again very poor customer experience save yourself the hassle shop at MSY or Umart.

Just been told that it hasn't left & I won't get it today because they had more important orders to do yesterday. Was also told that there's no store manager and the owner doesn't talk to ordinary people... WOW! Lost my future business!

One of the ridiculous service I have seen.very very bad experiance of it.I bought notebook from these store.sales person didn't know the proper configuration of notebook..he told me it has optical drive.when I bought and took it to my home..I didnt found any optical DVD drive.even more that note book hanged up initially..I was shoked, next day I was been there for replaced it.In place of replacing they blamed me that it was not their falut.I have to check it properly...most non responsible people who doesn't care about customer.

Sold me a $417 product not suitable for the advertised task. After attempting to trouble-shoot I discovered on the product's forum this was a huge design flaw that many users had discovered. I contacted Computer Alliance 4 days post purchase and asked to return. over 15 back and forth emails with this store, often having to prompt for reply after many days of silence etc, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission got me a full refund (minus delivery) within 1 day. I will NEVER shop here again, and I warn my friends of the stupid amount of energy and time that went into getting any assistance from this store who even has it in their store policy that under the exact circumstances of something being unable to perform the task it is sold for, it can be returned within 14 days of purchase. Where would we be without the ACCC

My new favourite IT store. The guys were awesome on fb messenger helping me select the right monitor. I ordered and paid and it arrived the next day. Everything from start to finish was flawless. I love supporting our QLD locals too :D

I am a consistant customer, I do not even live close to this shop but I drive for an hr just to come here. The service and fact that their sales team are so active in helping you and listen to your wants and needs without trying to oversell you keeps me coming back. I have used Umart and Msy plenty but Computer Alliance has the whole package; great pricing, excellent service and a great showroom to display many of their wares; to me that is a deal winner for me as i love to be able to see things set up and see what quality of image a monitor produces ect. Top notch, don't waste your time anywhere else...
