I actually wanted to write a No-star review as I had a negative experience. A staff member named Ash said he would email and mail me the drivers I required as the c.d and booklet were missing from my purchase ($900 video card), it never happened. He was also EXTREMELY arrogant and rude during the enitre call and has ZERO concept of what customer service is about. He is the personification of arrogance in I.T - not someone you want representing your I.T store.
I was also given incorrect information TWICE regarding the power capacity my new graphics card required. This lead to an elongated and painstaking process of rediscovering that the system constantly crashing under load was a result of the incorrect power supply - pretty simple stuff that was completely bungled.
I had a better experience with the broken English of the far superior team at MSY Slacks Creek who identified and corrected the problem on the spot I will not be returning to Computer Alliance! MSY know what they are doing at least!
Bought a computer from them. It needed repairs. They couldn't get the parts, so they replaced the whole thing, transferred my data and made sure the latest version of Windows was installed and ready to go. Oh, and gave it back to me with a full battery charge and explained everything. They did all of this under warranty. I didn't pay a cent. I could not have asked for better service and I will definitely go back to them. They were great!

They refused to warranty a motherboard in a machine they built because the computer technician who worked on it last had removed the hard drive cables to preserve the data present on the hard drive. The motherboard had failed due to bad cap syndrome. The failure was clearly obvious.
This was a computer belonging to a non-profit sporting club.
How will they treat your warranty claim? Especially if you've built it yourself!
Ordered and paid for a computer on the 28th January, on the website it stated it was in stock. A week later under my account it still stated processing, I called to enquire why and was informed no-one had invoiced it!!! Another week has gone by AND still no computer. I will not be recommending Computer Alliance to family or friends.

The worst customer service i have seen, a snotty big blonde woman on the front desk that can not serve you as you have to wait for an available salesperson (why is she there)! A 20 min wait to see a rude young sales guy...tall with purple shirt today, he disappeared for 6 min just to retrieve a $9 cable , 4 min of trying to use the counter computer....I'm out in 30min total never to return!

Computer Alliance are the market leaders for all things PC. Their staff are tremendously knowledgeable, approachable and considerate to the needs of individual customers, as opposed to the money grabbing attitudes of other competitors. If they can save you money, while also recommending a better solution to your PC needs, then they will.
Absolute legends!! I needed my receipt urgently and got through to the team quickly, after 5pm and got the receipt sent within seconds. All that in addition to an awesome experience with ordering the product and having it delivered via their Ebay store.
I've bought my last 3 computers from these guys and will buy the next 3 from here as well as their service is 2nd to none! Always happy to help with any questions and the one time i had an issue with the system i purchased they fixed it for me asap! Might not be the cheapest, but the extra service you get is worth the SLIGHTLY more expensive prices!

Since 2011 I have purchased 3 computers from this company. Lately my most recent PC has been giving errors and restarting. I informed Computer alliance and was not impressed by the attitude of one of their staff. There's always one bad apple I guess. I was told the issue was covered by warranty even though the PC is only 2 months old. It appeared to be driver issue and apparently they are not covered even though a driver could be updated the day after the PC was picked up. I will not be buying from this company again. This salesperson was rude and arrogant and I would rather pay another party to fix the issue than set foot in that store again.

I will never use this company again. If I could give them no stars I would. Company advised us they would contact us in relation to computer progress on Friday, no such call came. When my husband called, he was advised that the person looking after the computer had left early & nobody else could help. Husband rang again Tuesday, person looking after computer was away sick. Wednesday computer is ready. I wanted to pay via credit card over the phone only to be told it wasn't store policy. Asked if I could pay via internet the internet, was told I could, but my husband wouldn't be able to collect the computer.......it would have to be delivered to our address. (For an extra cost I imagine).I don't understand why they can't just ask to view ID to confirm address. Professional and quick service. The staff seemed to know what they were doing and most of the parts are as cheap as i could find. Would recommend.
Packaged ram inside a padded envelope with no anti-static protection,
product had been opened and slapped with paper stickers in an attempt to remove warranty liability, deceptive language used in their terms and conditions, and to top it off, the company overcharged for shipping.
I'd rather buy components from a sketchy back alley in Taiwan than use this company again.
Arrogant people, don't care about customer, went there only because is cheap and I already know what to buy.
I went to the shop on the 17th of March as it is my closest IT store, just to double check if they match price with an item with Umart(To which most stores do to keep things competitive), to which one of the sales guys rudely replied in front of other customers: "if you want it at that price you should go there" and indeed that is what I did, I will probably never be back to this store again.
The tech guys in there doesn't even know how to fix computers, and you can forget about using their warranty services here.

Prices are quite low compared to the RRP of the devices they sell (specifically monitors, this case).
Walked 40 minutes to the store after ordering a LG 24'' IPS LED monitor online and received it promptly with polite and helpful staff. Turns out I ordered the wrong model because it had no line-in input. Called the next morning asking if I would be able to return it for store credit and get the correct model despite there not being anything wrong with the monitor (they have no obligation to do so under consumer laws) yet they gave me a chance to pick up the correct one which looks beautiful, works perfectly and suits my needs.
Not many stores would do this. Huge thank-you to the store and everyone who helped me out with the return :)
it's a shame that I couldn't give them zero stars because their costumer service could easily be the worst in the country...very, very bad experience, left the shop disgusted

The service *could* be improved. While I had a splendid time there with the guy that was serving me, at times it does get a bit busy and it seems the staff are overwhelmed.
The staff member IAN is the rudest person I have ever been in the presence of.
I asked him a question to which he raised his voice yelling at me if I don't like their system he can cancel my order and I can leave... I was absolutely gobsmacked, was completely uncalled for. If it wasn't for travelling to get there and for my 11yo's birthday, I would have done just that.
The Manager brushed it off saying he was stressed.

I'm giving them 5 stars to make up for some of the vicious reviews, otherwise I'd rate them 4. 9/10 visits are friendly and efficient, had one or 2 clashes with one of the staff but you get that employing so many folks. Overall decent prices and they've honoured their warrantee when I've needed it.
The best prices. You cannot find better prices in Brisbane. The only downside is a slight lack of staff but it is 100% worth the wait. Got my first gaming pc here and it sure as hell wont be my last.

Good price but the computer we ended up with was a dud - took it back 8 times and not fixed (over a year). Will not recommend them or go there again. Computer in the bin - an expensive lesson.

Yesterday I took my computer in and dealt with David in the service department. All I can say "He is Awesome". David was very friendly and worked with me to retrieve some very valuable documents. The printer and gaming chair I bought about half a year ago all had problems. The printer screen was broken. I wrote an email to the merchant, and it asked me to find a repair point to discuss. The wheel of the chair broke within a few days after I bought it. I went to another place to change the parts. I recently discovered that the unevenness of the chair affects the overall feeling. The above point of view is my personal experience, maybe I am out of luck

I find it a Good Place to Shop for Parts and Laptops but when i Enquired about an Acer Aspire Switch 10 Pro with Active Stylus but when i got the Reply 4 Hours Later.... i got attitude from the Guy who was Talking to me like it's been 2 Years since i last went in because of My Cash Situation but now in 2 Weeks time i will have $1000 and i am gonna get a Few Parts put aside with the Acer Aspire but Other then the Attitude it's a Good Store
Went in a couple of weeks ago to chat to someone about getting a PC built. Chatted to Jay and the customer service was fantastic, he talked us through everything and his advice and knowledge was excellent and was able to provide advice over email as well. Also the prices are really good. Highly recommend.
Can't say enough good things about the service I received from comp alliance recently. My PC had a GPU issue (which wasn't purchased through comp. alliance) and the service staff were amazingly helpful when I brought it in, very friendly and prompt with getting back to me. Honestly well done to the whole team, you obviously have the know how but also the customer service to adapt and dumb down the explanation of what had happened to my PC (so that I could understand) :). Thanks so much again guys.

Nice showroom & they seem to have a bit in stock (with fast, normally same-day delivery) but for some reason they don't take credit cards over the phone! I know, right - An. Information. Technology. Company... that doesn't have the technology to take credit cards over the phone... what-the?! Makes it really hard to process business orders. My employer is considering we take our business elsewhere due to this headdesk-inducing 'policy' of theirs. Otherwise they're great... but probably not suited to corporate customers.
Had a bit of an emergency this morning as my Netgear ReadyNAS died (5 years old so not too bad I guess). Craig and Dave worked as a team to get me the best solution. Dave put my drives into one of Computer Alliances's own ReadyNAS units (same model as mine) and tested it out to see that the drives weren t damaged at all. He and Craig then lent me the unit to get the business back up and running again and sold me a new one so that I can transfer the data across to it (and return the Computer Alliance one back to the store).

After reading some reviews and researching the product i thought i would buy my first MSI Infinite computer. I couldn't be happier! This is the Quietest, Fastest, and most Powerful computer i have owned. Not only is it an amazing product, it looks sleek, and is great BANG for the BUCK. 10/10 i recommend this product.
I purchased an ASUS X556UA laptop from Computer Alliance, using the delivery service provided.
The service was exceptional, from helpful over the phone support to flexibility in modifying purchases after the point of sale. The product was delivered using an express delivery service for $13 extra, reasonable considering I live over 70 kilometres away. The delivery was quick and the product arrived with no damage. There was a very minor issue with the hard drive running at a high work rate even though there were no applications running. However, disabling the 'windows search' mode fixed this issue entirely and the computer runs as advertised with no other faults. Both the service and product received were impeccable, all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Computer Alliance to anyone wishing to purchase a computer.
