Took my wife here for her birthday in July and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful, it maintains the charm you would imagine it had when it was built. The pool is nice and has a small cabana with good drinks and a few food options. They also do food and small plates on the porch, this was a great place to watch the sun rise over Mt Washington with a coffee and relax with a drink before dinner. The room was nice, could hear the neighbors but we weren't in the room much. The last day there we went to the spa. It's 25,000 sq ft, has amazing amenities, and its own outdoor hot tub and patio. They also serve drinks and food. If you have something done at the spa they will let you use their facilities all day off and on if you'd like. I'd recommend spending a few days there if you can! The outdoor patio is essentially your own private tanning area and hot tub.

We stayed 2 nights here, with 400+ USD for a two beds room per night.

KEEP AWAY from this place during winter!

The hotel has a very old heating system, it only kicks in when outside temperature drop below 50F. Evenworst, while the steam is running into the small column radiator, you can hear cracking in the pipe, the sound around 60-65 dB level, with high tone. The penetration sound effect can not be blocked by normal passive ear plugs. More coming! When we tried to call front desk, we found something even SWAG!NO PHONE, NO NUMBER. We had to search on Google their phone. After 10 mins, an engineer did come in tried to fix it, later in the night , I was wake up again by the noise sound.

I hear this hotel start delating negative reviews. If my review got delated, I would post again.

The 4 stars is for the amazing views from the resort. The resort it's self is stunning. The food is not worth the price and it seemed they were under staffed. The staff they did have for food and bar service were just trying their best to provide something. It's still worth a stay for sure.

Absolutely stunning views. The Omni hotel does an incredibly great job of taking care of their guests. From the time you drive in till the time you drive away. Plenty of things to do in an around the hotel no matter what time of the year. The history of the hotel is just as exciting, it's like staying in a museum. I highly recommend the Omni Mount Washington hotel. You will love it!

Spectacular hotel with amazing views of Mt Washington and the Presidential range. Rooms are old style but somewhat updated. If you like modern, this is not your place! Service is mediocre but food quality is overall very good if you have patience. Breakfast buffet is fabulous! The location is beautiful and close to the Cog Railway and Mt Washington hiking trails from that base. It's about 30 minutes to drive to any civilization, i.e. Jefferson, Littleton or Bartlett. Golf course is beautiful and summer XC trails are great for light mountain/gravel biking. Overall, it's extremely pricey but a great place to experience - if you are looking for great value and excellent service, don't stay here.

Great resort, in location, service and quality. Great options of dining and entertaining. A bit really need to improve in cleanliness in room ... found carpets still dirty, bath tub old and showers really need to be updated.

Stopped in for lunch while driving by, sat on the very large patio and enjoyed the fall views. Food was fantastic. If you have the opportunity to visit, I strongly recommend. No cover charge valet parking.

The staff is very well trained - friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. The facility is beautiful. The main dining room is lovely - the servers are well trained and the food was well presented and tasty. The Mountain View room we had was well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was good. You cannot beat the views and the ability to enjoy them at your leisure from all around the resort ... verandas, outside pool, your room ... vistas everywhere.

Very beautiful resort. Loved the heated outdoor and indoor pools. Very tall ceilings and the beds were comfortable. Restaurant meals were delicious but expensive. Breakfast was not included, no coffee maker in the room.

Stoped in for a drink after a hike. Plastic cups for martinis. Fly dead in the bottom of one of them. The hotel is in disrepair. I have been going here for many years. Omni has not taken care of the place
Over the last 10+years they haven't maintained it at all. A place like this needs constant updates and repairs. Just not happening. Shame.

This property is one of a kind. It feels very much like being on a luxury ocean liner but in the middle of the mountains. Stunning vistas from every porch, the music and atmosphere reminiscent of the Gilded Age. Pricey, yes but an experience you will never forget!

Great location, great service! I had a wonderful experience and loved the sense of connection with nature. The property is absolutely picturesque. The bear encounters were a blast but do be careful!

Kyle and Greg, our fly fishing guides, were wonderful! I want to do this again and with them!

Don t miss out on Cave fun! Seems you never know what ll happen.

I wish we d had more time here, but I aim to come back!

It's a gorgeous place to be, tons of hiking and skiing to be had. The tour guide for the hotel was excellent. A great place to stay and explore the white mountains, and then relax with a beer and some food food in one of their many restaurants. If you can afford it, make the trip!

The hotel is beautiful, in a spectacular location. The lobby is wonderful. The pools are show. The rooms are ok, a bit dark, a bit old. Food good. But the alternatives for lunch and dinner are few and far between. Only one restaurant in the sub ground I would recommend. The main hall has a lousy restaurant, in the decoration, the service and the menu. The valet service sucks. They are unfriendly and refuse to help if V parked the car. The tour of the hotel is very weak. And the worst: they took the signs off the bedroom doors that indicated the VIPs who slept there in 1947.

Anyone who ever has the opportunity should pay a visit to the Mt. Washington Hotel. It's a national and human historic rare treasure to experience and appreciate while it's still here. We can only hope it endures for many centuries to come

We visited for just a couple of hours to see the view, get a snack and see the Gold room. Beautiful place, full of history and one of the most spectacular places to see the mountain and presidentials.

My husband and I stayed for a few nights back in June for our first wedding anniversary, and it was a spectacular experience all around! Upon arriving, we got a free upgrade to the gorgeous and special princess suite, and it was an absolutely stunning room accompanied by stellar 5-star service (everywhere on the premises). On top of it, the staff surprised us with a complimentary bottle of Champagne to celebrate (thank you to Monica Blessing, front office manager for everything!!). We can't thank the team here enough for going out of their way to make our stay/anniversary extra special. We have been guests in the past at many Omni and other 5-star resorts, but so far, this experience takes the cake, and we'll be back (as much as possible)!

We throughly enjoined the resort, the mountain setting and all the amenities. We especially loved the riding and hiking trails and the beautiful river behind the property. Food and service were terrific. Perfect for families as the property provides a great sense of freedom for children within a safe environment that allows parents the ability to relax while kids explore.

Horrible customer service and overpriced food. Very noisy rooms! I got bitten by a BED BUG, and the hotel laughed at us and said they would conduct a corporate investigation. End result, they couldn't find anything and took no responsibility.

We visited--not to stay--but to take the free one hour tour and a sleigh ride ($25/person). The tour was very comprehensive and very interesting, but a little slow paced for people with young kids. The sleigh ride company misplaced our pre-paid reservation; but they accommodated us anyhow and refunded the cost. I'm not sure it was worth $25, but it was fun regardless.

The weekend we had at the Mount Washington was amazing. The staff was beyond friendly, the breakfast was amazing and the room was so nice. Just walking around was exciting due to the history and the opulent Titanic-like feel. I could not say enough good things about this resort. So, if you get the chance, book a stay...then just enjoy.

Work there, workers are treated as people, not exploited as some companies often commit abuses against their excited. At Omni, I had a very beautiful work exchange season, I made friends that I will never forget and the people who were my mentors supported me and encouraged me to do my job better and grow.
I totally recommend this place to visit and work, if it is the case, because its workers will attend you with the greatest pleasure because they have a happy work environment. Visit it and have a very nice vacation

I wish I could put into words how disappointed my wife and I were with this place. I bought a Groupon deal that gave us an incredible discount. That's where the good part ended. Our stay was part of a week-long trip through New England and this was the worst part. I wanted to get a taste of the good life: it tastes terrible here.
The bad: dinner service for both meals was beyond slow. We ran out of water multiple times during our two meals. Our first meal we waited 20 minutes just to put in our order. Then were unattended to until dinner arrived 15 minutes later. I should add the place was EMPTY. The food was good the service was atrocious.
The second night we went to Stickneys. Don't eat there. Food sucked and was overpriced and it was made worse by the service. We were forgotten about and the thin tip we gave was much deserved.
Our bathroom made me want to vomit. Mildew on the shower curtain (manager said it was overuse of cleaner). Non draining tub until I complained. TV was like watching old antenna style on an HDTV.
The good:
The Cave.
Breakfast in the dining room. We made ours a brunch to avoid giving them anymore money at lunch.

I will never go to an Omni Resort again.

The service was terrible. I have travel my whole life and this was most first time in New Hampshire. The landscape was beautiful but that could not make up for the employees.

There was a cleaning women named Cynthia who asked my daughter not to do something (in a very rude tone) and my daughter apologized and that was that. Cynthia then started talking to other guest sitting around the pool saying how dumb of a girl my daughter was. I immediately say "excuse me that is my daughter you are talking about." With Cynthia luckily gracing me with an eye roll and already being annoyed with the stuff I say "You shouldn't talk about guest to other guest." Which lead her to call security on me. You may think I caused a ruckus but speaking it was just my family and an older couple by the pool.

I went to the front desk and they seem to really care. I then headed up stairs to get ready for my nieces wedding. When I saw my children I asked what they did to Cynthia (since I was told that a manager was heading down there to speak with her right away) they told me that a security guard was the only staff that came and he just watched them swim. The next day walking by the pool I saw her picking up towels once again so I am sure they just let that go after I walked away seeming please.

The wedding was beautiful but once again the staff had to kill some fun. My friend from France who is 36 years old did not bring her passport to the wedding because who was expected to be carded at a wedding. They made her take a shuttle back to her off site hotel in order to have a glass of wine. I was shocked. Even the wedding planner was on the bartenders side.

My salmon was under cooked at lunch one day, the oysters were not good (surprising that Chicago had better ones then New England) and my two 20 year old sons got food poisoning from the lobster.

If they want to be an up scale resort they should be treating their guest like they are at an up scale resort.

Second visit to the hotel during our one week stay in neighboring Jackson. Views change daily. While past peak foilage still amazing views of Mt Washington. Double cheese burger at the downstairs bar was excellent, but if you want a healthier or more upscale options those are available as well. Highly recommend free tour of Hotel, Anna our tour guide was wonderful and her enthusiasm for her internship was infectious. Cruised by the stables, caught the carriage heading up to the hotel was a treat to see. Asked the driver if it was okay to walk thru ..."make your self at home, they are all sweethearts." Next time we come want to stay here. The Princess would be proud.
