The location, history and grandeur of the hotel is amazing. It has very well appointed rooms and several amenities. The pools, shops and restaurants are all high quality. The spa is wonderful with a long list of available services with a steam room, sauna, and endless supply of tea included. The valet is hospitable and helpful. The only issues we had were the main desk staff messing up our check-in and the hot tub malfunctioning. Other than that, the resort has been lovely!

I understand that this is a difficult time, but I don t feel positively at all about my experience here. 1) As other reviews have mentioned, very few restaurants were open and the ones that were were incredibly crowded and the waits were long. 2) Many guests were in the communal spaces without masks, and the staff did not appear to be doing anything to encourage mask adherence. This especially made accessing the few options for food uncomfortable, since they were crowded indoors. We ended up driving 20 minutes into town for just coffee. 3) The amenities were limited (no outdoor pool, construction, no room service, etc).

All in all, I felt that I paid an exorbitant price to be bored and uncomfortable. The grounds are beautiful, and everyone is very nice, so this probably would be a lovely experience under other circumstances, but I would not come here under the current situation.

First off I had the best steak I have ever had at stickneys restaurant. And that's indicative of the whole experience. The staff is attentive, the food and drinks are excellent, the bed are comfortable, even the towels are oversized and luxurious. We also spent our days skiing at bretton woods and the conditions were excellent. Getting to the mountain and back to the hotel is easy and convenient. The whole experience is expensive but the value is there.

This is a beatiful destination and we stop by here at least once or twice a year for a nice relaxing dinner. However things went terribly wrong this year. The appetizers were fine although slightly below our previous experiences in the flavor department. The main entries we're really bad. The steak was so salty that my husband could only eat half of it. He asked for medium rare it was prepared as medium. My scallops had a funky non fresh flavor. I also did not eat the entire portion served. The wait stuff assured us they were fresh, but when I got home I had an upset stomach. My impression that they were bad was not wrong. The staff was very apologetic when we mention we were disappointed, and they did provide discount on our bill for the steak. However for a place that looks and charges as Omni there should be someone in the kitchen tasting these dishes, they should not have made it to the customer table.

The location is superb, but that is God s work, not the hotel s. The hotel building is charming and historic and the staff uniformly friendly and helpful. However, requests for service were often inaccurately fulfilled. The food in the restaurants in the hotel was bad and overpriced. Most importantly the whole experience was wildly overpriced. To charge hefty daily fees for free amenities above and beyond the advertised cost of the room is an outrage amounting to false advertising.

The views are incredible. Worth every penny. We didn't stay at the hotel, just visited the Main Dining Room for our anniversary dinner. The food was good but expensive. We didn't end up doing entrees, we had eaten a late lunch and weren't quite that hungry. The charcuterie board, cheese plate, two salads, one dessert, and four drinks was around $150. The pace was nice and slow, we were there for about 2 hours. After dinner we went down to The Cave which is an old speakeasy turned bar and dance floor with a live band. It was pretty cool but we didn't stay long since we had a 45min drive back down to our in in Jackson. I hope to be able to stay for at least one night there in the future. It seemed pretty awesome with lots to do right on the property.

I stayed for wedding and had two year old with me. Room service was wonderful. The views were magnificent. We walked around and around the place and swam in pool. If I come up to NH again I would stay here.

Fantastic hotel - setting, the hotel itself, the staff and services. Wonderful restaurants and ambience. Family friendly. Lots to do locally - ski, hike, tube. Downside are the rooms which are a bit shabby and the beds which need an upgrade. I would certainly return.

Gorgeous historic hotel with stunning mountain views.
Unfortunately I can't speak highly of the food... at such a highly rated resort I'd expect very high quality food and it was at best mediocre. The cave was a fun experience, love that it's 21+. Only downside was the bartender had no idea how to make drinks. My husband ordered the sazerac (on the drink menu) and staff had to look it up!
We ate out last breakfast at the country inn (Bretton Arms) and the service and quality were much better.
We loved learning the history, walking the grounds and taking in the views on the veranda. The attention to detail (carpets made specially for the hotel featuring local flora) and coziness (fire pits outside and a large fireplace in the lobby) were also favorites.

A tremendous trip awaits you if perfection is important to you. The moment you arrive at the White Mountain Resort at Bretton Woods you leave the tired, remote wariness of everyday behind and peace encircles you from every limb and mountain. The resort itself settles itself securely and serenely within a generous retreat of great rooms quietly defined with the dignity of great design. It is only improved upon by the uninterrupted insistence of a kind and professional staff. Don't miss it, if only for a day, it will impress upon you a time gone by.

A factory, but a pleasant factory. The health crisis makes everything more complicated, nothing is easy for catering, but ultimately everyone manages to eat. It's clean, the rooms are spacious. A pleasant stopover.

Drove all the way out for dinner and to explore the grounds. Was turned away at the gate because they were completely booked for a private corporate function for the whole long weekend. Couldnt even go to the pub. Some sort of clearly posted warning would be really nice, could have saved a long drive. Won't bother going back.

The hotel is beautiful and I love it here. I've stayed here four times the most recent was the beginning of March and I have to say I was a little disappointed. This hotel needs a face lift. The lounge on the first floor when you come in had rips and stains all over the chairs. Rugs have stains on them and are worn. Definitely time for a renovation.

Grounds beautiful and scenery amazing. To be fair, we did not stay at the hotel but wanted to check it out. Seemed to be out in the middle of no where on Mt.Washington. Had shuttle buses I am assuming to the ski areas. Busy with alot of families with young children. Property is older and apparently they are adding more accommodations. If we would have stayed the rating may have increased but just as a check it out only 3 stars from what we saw.

The Omni Mount Washington was a bucket list hotel to visit. I was super excited to finally get a chance to stay here.
Maybe my expectations were too lofty, but I was very disappointed with my experience here. I've stayed at a few Omni properties before, and this one did not live up to my expectations of previous stays at Omni properties.
Waited at the front desk for at least 15 minutes to be checked in. Staff were attending to people walking up to the counter and not those of us who were waiting in line.
The room was tiny, no fridge or microwave, and this was an upgraded room. Bed was super comfortable though.
Waitress at the bar we ate at was great. Food was good but not worth the price we paid.
Once again upon checkout we had to wait because the staff once again was taking care of people walking up to the counter and not those in line.

The hotel and grounds are simply amazing. The hotel itself has so much history and is kept in great condition. It's a fantastic family friendly hotel with game room, pools, a luxurious spa, beautiful golf course and so many outdoor activities to choose from. The view off the balcony is one of the best in NH.

The hotel is beautiful. Thei loved the old fashioned charm of the resort. The grounds were beautiful. I was there for the day at the spa. The spa was clean and relaxing. The massages were great and the facilities were good. The showers in the spa could use some renovating.

We stayed here a couple October's ago while vacationing around wonderful New England. We left Bar Harbor and pushed on to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We drove over from the coast of Maine to the venerable Mount Washington Hotel in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. During October there was brilliant foliage along the way, traditional White New England churches, lakes and trout streams. We arrived and was greeted with such an amazing Resort! Built in 1900 ! Although raining, we took a walk about to capture the beauty of this historical resort and had a wonderful lunch of New England Clam Chowder, fish and chips and ham sandwich. It is such an awesome place, with superb settings, it kinda felt like Mr. Torrance having a drink with Lloyd the bartender. Lol

They say the ghost of Carolyn Stickney walks the hallways of this venerable place. In fact they have a special table set for her each night. In the Shining you did not want to go into Room 237. Gulp! We are in Room 248. Oh my!

For evening we were entertained with live music as had an exquisite dinner. A memorable occasion, we look forward to our return. Having traveled around the world, this ranks high on our most pleasant sites.
