A fine hotel, but the food options need to be improved, particularly for breakfast. Morsels is a disgrace. Barely edible, tasteless bagels are four dollars. A cold coffee cake is five dollars. A lackluster parfait is 8 dollars. The espresso drinks come out of an instant machine. I could go on . . . I get that it is a nice hotel. And I get that it is isolated from other food options, so they can seemingly charge whatever they wish. But if you are going to charge exorbitant prices for food at least ensure it is halfway decent. Even as good as a typical Starbucks would be an improvement.
My husband, 2 month old son and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Omni Mount Washington Resort for a mother s day celebration/1 year anniversary. We were married at the Resort the year prior. We arrived and were graciously greeted at the door and received assistance with our luggage. I checked in to be surprised with a room upgrade to a Mountain View room on the fourth floor. After entering our room we noticed a bottle of champagne with flutes and a note from the hotel congratulating us on our anniversary. We also requested a crib for my son and a small fridge for his milk, both items were already in the room. We had a small lunch at the rosebrook which was delicious and dinner at stickney s which was also lovely. We have stayed at the resort multiple times and are always impressed with the experience. Highly recommended!!
It's a very beautiful location, nailed on the middle of a valley, surrounded by a picturesque golf course. Loved the interior decoration and the lighting as well. The patio that faces the mountains is a great spot to relax in the evening.
Breath taking views and very hospitality But come prepared for the weather
What a historical place, it really makes you think about what life was like when this establishment was first being built and for all those who have maintained it over the many years with continued top notch hospitality for so long, keep up the great work!
This hotel needs a complete renovation . It is not a 4 star property.
This hotel looks spectacular as you drive up; however, the food is lackluster and expensive. The hotel is somewhat musty as well. However, the people who work there in any capacity are really efficient and friendly. There are lots of trails for short or long walks. Very beautiful grounds and will kept trails.
I can't rate this place for a night's stay since I just drove over to see it. However, from seeing it, I would stay there if I could afford it. Maybe the most beautiful location for a hotel I've seen. I can't imagine there are many rooms that don't have a view. From the outside you can see mountains at every turn. Beautiful location for a wedding or special event. Lots of little shops and restaurants inside too. Caters to a higher end customer, but would be a great splurge experience.
Love this place... I've stayed there a few times and loved it.... also like just driving up to have lunch at stickney's.
My wife and I had a great time at this hotel, the only things we did not like was the Room #363 was very very small and the hot steam radiator was very loud. It would bang like someone was hitting it with hammer ever 35 min.
So we did not get a lot of sleep. So if you book a room DO Not book 363.
I only visit the Mount Washinton Hotel when i have guests from out of town staying with us here in Littleton. It's so magestic and a must-see! My friends are always impressed. We walk around the lobby, check out the back veranda and sometime have a coffee or snack. Such a great place.
Our experience was a good one. The tour we took was very informative and the employees throughout the hotel were very accommodating and very friendly. We would return at a later time.
Wonderful vintage hotel, loved the cave it was an old speak easy, historical and wonderful
Although we did not stay at the resort, we explored it and the views are absolutely stunning. We are definitely going to stay here if we ever return to the area.
Such a beautiful place and on a Monday night it felt extremely intimate with not too many guests wandering the grounds.
It s been over 30 years since I last stayed at this property and I ve been dying to return! It s magical year round, but especially in the winter. Looking forward to another trip in the not-too-distant future so I can take advantage of all the outdoor activities...it was too cold this visit.
A beautiful place with a lovely staff. The view is amazing and the grounds are kept very well. However, the food isn't anything to wrote home about.
Very nice hotel with awesome food amenities!! Rather overpriced but we had a great time
It was very interesting. Yhe drink was overly expensive about 23 dollars for two drinks. Paid to enjoy the view!
A very elegant and magical place to come, particularly when you re trying to beat the New England winters. Love staying here while skiing Bretton Woods!
Definitely a great getaway location. Can be romantic
The Mount Washing Resort is one of New Hampshire's best hotel experiences and is a destination everyone should try at least once.
I have stayed here on multiple occasions including anniversaries, business and have used the hotel as a base of operations when climbing Mt. Washington or taking the Cog to the summit. The setting is extremely relaxing. The hotel itself is very historic and the rooms are spacious and clean.
Magical and enchanting historic place at the foot of Mount Washington do not miss it!
Nice place to stay, don't waste your money on food there. Restaurant is overpriced and the food is a joke
Beautiful resort and views. But we were ignored for 15 minutes when we stopped for a drink. We sat on their balcony where every one around us were being served. We finally walked out in disgust. Keep your views and attitude.
In short / the best and most luxurious hotel I did not live in, but a tour of it is the summit of beauty, luxury and humiliating views
The negatives / its distance from the city center

Very expensive, they charge resort fees even when everything is closed.
Beautiful resort classic feel. Food and service are top notch. Oh and the views are amazing too.
Beautiful interiors and excellent service with a great view. The cave was a ton of fun to grab drinks at!
This is our 4th year visiting and the hotel has definitely declined each year. The rooms are worn, dirty and have moved from being quirky and charming to just plain run down, for exampl e blood stains on the bed skirting, ONE bed side table for each bed instead of two, why? Our room was never properly cleaned during out 3 night stay and with 2 adults and two kids we defintely felt it needed it. The staff from the concierge to the front desk were totally unengaged and unhelpful during our stay. Perhaps it was due to school vacation week but the whole hotel was dirtyand the staff seemed ready for everyone to go home. I think this was our last trip. Lastly, while the hotel itself is beautiful and the setting can't be beat, if you are used to high end service and modern, comfortable rooms, you will likely be disappointed.
Ya this is it. This place is impressive. From Victorian wealth to ghost stories and probation, anyone would like this place.
Excellent. Warm, friendly, and professional staff throughout. When reserving online, I added that we were celebrating our 10yr anniversary. Champagne and chocolate waiting for us upon check in! Perfect stay, highly recommend.
I really enjoy and so happy to stay overnight at Imni Mt.Washington Resort,NH.
It's so beautiful place and it's an amazing!!
Enjoy with delicious lunch in a beautiful scenery (golf court), yummy
And I really enjoy with shopping, Oops!!
I will be back again and again.
Beautiful historic hotel! Great service and nice rooms
Totally enjoyed our stay. Nordic skiing, wonderful sleigh ride, Gatsby party, and great buffet breakfast. Concierge needs to be more on the ball. I called four days in a row to no avail and no call back for making reservations for our activities. Luckily everything was still available at the times I wanted the day of our stay. Beautiful hotel. I felt like royalty staying here.
An incredible hotel. I happen to love the traditional rooms on the 4th floor as I find them cozy and very quiet. The staff at this hotel are professional and very courteous and the food throughout the hotel is fabulous.
I will only say one soft negative and that is I find the spa rates for body and facial treatments to be significantly overpriced for the actual service delivered. However, the lady s lounge is beautiful, the couches and blankets are wonderful and the showers and all other amenities are top notch. Having traveled all over the states and Europe though I am quite disappointed in the rate prices for spa treatments that I find are way too high relative to the actual services delivered.
Overall decent place, however, standards could be higher for the price.
If you are paying for the convenience of the area, and not the hotel itself; then well worth it.
Could improve on transparency during booking, breakfast food, cleaning in the bathroom, and personal guest service instead of profit driven employees.
Amazing rooms and dining experiences. The hotel is rich in history and elegance.
This is a beautiful historic hotel! The staff are professional, the setting is awe inspiring, the building is gorgeous. The food is delicious, (although over-priced by any standard) and the menus offer wonderfully surprising variety. My only regret was that our trip coincided with the busy season - the many many tourists passing through contrasted with the serenity of the location and luxurious nature of the hotel. A setting like this demands quiet in order to appreciate all it has to offer.
The hotel was wonderful. Great staff, rooms were very clean. They are very accommodating
Beautiful hotel and superb guest services. Absolutely love staying here. Thank you!
The hotel is beautiful but in need of repair, the floor on the lower lobby bows when you walk on it, just waiting for someone to fall through. The heat / air in our room did not work at all the first night and our room was 81 degrees even with the window open to the 40 degree weather outside, when maintenance did fix the issue was the filter had not been cleaned in months and was hampering air flow
We love visiting this hotel. However, we were there recently on a fall weekend and it seemed very chaotic, understaffed and poorly run. Despite having a huge outdoor bar setup perfect for social distancing (which was roped off) everyone who was sitting outside needed to line up inside to order drinks in the cramped bar (right next to tables of maskless people eating there). Totally unnecessary COVID risk. The staff also seemed severely understaffed/stressed and staff mask wearing wasn t 100% indoors even though they were handling food. I expect more from a hotel of this caliber.
The absolute best in luxury. If you can afford it, it's amazing.
This hotel is beautiful! The customer service was excellent, the room was beautiful, clean, and the spa was absolutely amazing! I took advantage of the spa services after 2 days of skiing. I had a facial with Allison and I look 10 years younger! She did an excellent job! The outdoor hot-tub over looking the view of Mount Washington was spectacular. I highly recommend staying and taking advantage of the spa!!!
Stayed at the resort for 1 night after I found a Groupon online. Don't think I would have been able to afford it otherwise. The resort is huge and is a great place to relax and get away. The staff is really friendly and the views from the hotel are stunning. Overall I would stay again.
One of the few turn of the century luxury hotels left, this one has some of the most amazing views of Mount Washington around.
A beautiful and historic hotel surrounded by amazing scenery! While the historic significance means that some technological improvements are lacking in places, we had an excellent time attending an event here. Service was very good and the in-hotel restaurants, bar, and other amenities were also excellent.
Wonderfullllllllll place super deluxe hotel super recommended try the hot pool
Historic grandore. Exquisite service at every single encounter. Cannot wait to return
If you have never had the opportunity to stay at this historical place, you will do yourself a favor by choosing it as your destination. You will need to experience it for yourself. I felt like I was staying on the Titanic, a grand ship. Soak in the history and take in the beauty of the area.
Friendly staff, great view. The chairs in the glass corridor near public pool could use side tables. Had to put drink on the ground, was worried about it spilling
Beautiful place to go and eat. Food and drinks and dessert were a decent price but service was phenomenal thanks to our waitress Bernice who sang a birthday blessing to my good friend Mark with such an incredible voice!
Very good stay. Rooms are clean and a lot of history there. Service is very nice and will help you with anything you need.
I go there every year and it's just so beautiful the architectural work could never be redone in any hotel!! There are so many things for everybody to do from toddlers to grandparents, there is something there for everyone. They also make sure every guest feels welcomed as soon as they arrive! I will never vacation anywhere else EVER!!
After World War I countries tried to restore the gold standard, but it collapsed completely during the Great Depression of the 1930s.
In such circumstances, 730 delegates from 44 countries met at this locality, in 1944, to build the world financial system after the war, to avoid the risk of recurring economic crisis.
Here, countries agreed to establish a financial system called Bretton Woods - including the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank (WB) and a fixed exchange rate regime. built around the US dollar tied to gold.
Since the United States at that time accounted for more than half of the world's production potential and held nearly all of the world's gold, the leaders decided to tie the world currencies to the dollar, the currency that Then they agreed to exchange it for gold at $ 35 an ounce
Beautiful location with many outdoor activities nearby.
Beautiful historical hotel well preserved. Service could be improved. Nice, big dining room. Beautiful frame. Worth the journey.
Ice Paradise. Frozen wonderland are all words you can associate with this place. the fireplace is a nice warm touch and the history speaks for itself
As a city person through and through, I had no idea what to expect from Bretton Woods, NH in general, and from the Omni Mount Washington Resort in particular. I'd only heard about the general area from my more outdoorsy friends, and they only had good things to say about it. This is why I was very excited to experience it for myself when I found out that Omni was going to host my company's annual retreat this year. I stayed for 2 nights in August with about 400 of my coworkers, and overall I had a nice time.
The drive up to NH from MA was grueling, especially on a Friday afternoon. It took 4.5 hours to get there, but the last 30 minutes or so of the drive were fairly pleasant because of the beautiful views of the mountains and forests. Once we arrived, parking was a breeze since the lot was large, and as soon as I stepped inside the grand entrance of the main hotel, I could almost feel the history oozing from the walls. It was well decorated to give off a cabin-like vibe, so it was incredibly cozy and I felt right at home.
During my stay, I booked a massage at the spa which was relaxing, and it also allowed me to use the spa facilities (love the steam room w/eucalyptus!). I took off 2 stars for the food I had during my stay, and for the tiny elevator. The quality of the food might not have been that great due to the size of our group, but it was often bland and unimaginative. There was only 1 small elevator that could only fit about 4 people comfortably without luggage, and that resulted in long wait times if we couldn't/didn't want to walk up 4 flights of stairs.
Overall, as a city person, it was an incredible experience to be this immersed in nature for a weekend. I might come back again with a smaller group to give it another chance!
Very beautiful... only thing is if you have Sprint there is no cell coverage here.
Stunning, historical, second to none resort in the slope of Mount Washington, NH. Surrounded by White Mountain National Park. Perfect for winter getaway. :)
This hotel lacks ambiance. It is a beautiful location but it s ambiance and a bit of care is lost in catering for large bus tours. Our huge room was dirty/dusty and seemed to be missing furniture (two beds with one bedside cabinet between them and one small table in the bathroom). The roller blinds can not be rolled up to enjoy ALL the view. The front desk clerk who checked us in seemed perturbed I was there and I never saw her smile over the four days we were at the hotel. Most of the other staff were extremely pleasant. The flooring above our room was extremely noisy as was the old water pipes...so we were awakened at 5.45am each morning as those above us (maybe staff or bus drivers) got up and ready for their day. The canopy your was excellent and Mike and Zac made every effort to ensure we enjoyed the experience. The food in the main restaurant and Stickneys was ok but pricey.
Spectacular, very good attention, good food and beautiful landscapes
Very beautiful resort and the employees are very nice and courteous.
Great views and surprisingly good food! Great place to stop if you are in the area.
Great getaway! Lots to do on site and in the area. Good for couples and families. Bring your own pillow, though.
The service and atmosphere are exceptional, however, some of the guest rooms are very old with doors that don't close properly, very noisy (the walls are very thin) and in desperate need of an update when it comes to electricity, plumbing and Internet connectivity. I'd rate it a 6 out of a possible 10.
