Excellent service and great food. I loved the room as well!
Monica Blessing lives up to her name! She checked us in with ease and took wonderful care of my husband and I on a busy new years eve of 2021. Highly recommend and will be back for sure. Amazing views, food, and hospitality from all the staff!
Over priced. Yes its beautiful but it's an old building that has not been upgraded since 1912. It's also far out of nowhere. Closest stores are located 40 miles out. A wedding reception was held at a venue with no A/C. Also lacked professional luxury requirements such as having servers attending to people in outdoor sittings and for bonfire areas.
Great location and staff. The food was great. The only reason it's not a 5 star isn't their fault. Old buildings didn't have the sound dampening of modern buildings.
Great getaway spot. The views are great. Very peaceful place and the building is something to appreciate.
Pretty nice place to visit. Stunning views abound.
Great views, pool, hot tub. There is plenty to do and see here. Beautiful walking trails following the stream.
Such a fun place for our honeymoon! We enjoyed the game room, the firepit, and even just perusing the grounds!
Absolutely marvelous location, building and staff! Beautiful place, came to just tour it.
My favorite place for lunch and breakfast in the New Hampshire White Mountains
Beautiful scenery, grand-style hotel, good food & drink; friendly staff
Can feel land locked during rainy weather
Stayed at the Omni Mount Washington Resort for a wedding. The hotel is fantastic. Typically you have to choose between clean rooms or rooms with character. Older hotels I have stayed in typically require more upkeep and it's tough for the staff to keep up with the cleaning and maintenance. Not at Omni Mount Washington. The rooms were full of character and in immaculate shape. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back.
You can't go wrong staying here. This was our 4th time, and it gets better every time.
Amazing scenery, even on a rainy or cloudy day! Very pleasant staff, particularly in the spa where they are very attentive and professional.
We went to the cave bar before our cog rail trip. The ambience of the bar was amazing. I liked the selection of Irish whiskey.
We started in the Lodge across the street from the main hotel. The room was very clean and the staff were super friendly. There is a shuttle between all the different resort hotels, making it convenient to get out of your room without driving.
Mount Washington Resort is a luxury hotel and resort. We popped in for the view of Mount Washington and a beer and were served an excellent local Tuckerman brewery trailhead beer made exclusively for the hotel.
Wonderful place to visit. Beautiful. Great history.
This is a bucket list place. The hotel is unbelievable in grandure and history. The food is always amazing. The staff is outstanding. They have added a new restaurant off property that exceeds expectation. I have been here twice and plan on returning in the very near future.
Great amenities and service as always, disappointed that the pool bar was closed for lunch on a Tuesday, as we were swimming with little kids. Additionally, we were there for a day trip, as this particular week was the only week all summer that had no vacancy.
Been coming here for years. Friendly staff, lots to do. A great experience
Had my brothers wedding here, absolutely gorgeous. They did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup, the scenery couldn't have been more perfect, and the staff made the day stress free. Seriously amazing place!!!!
Such an amazing place to enjoy lunch or stay at. I did not have a chance to spend the night but I got a delicious lunch and took a quick tour of the building. The old wooden floors, pianos scattered around the hotel, the old secluded bar and club in the basement such a fun place to come visit and I hope to stay there soon and update my review. There is an appetizer of fried mozzarella, you need to try this
Stopped in as we were driving to tour the colors. End of season, thought they'd be empty....no, 2 weddings and a conference! Grabbed one of 4 rooms left, had a wonderful night. Excellent staff, food, atmosphere, and History! Read all about it! Room 314?
Spectacular hotel great food beautiful scenery of My Washington, and a slegh ride very romantic
Breathe taking view indeed. Beautiful hotel. Food leaves a lot to be desired though. I think for the price of their food, a REAL chef needs to be there to keep check on what they serve.
Good place with different winter activities available.
Wonderful place to stay must say the woman working the front desk in the morning Allison was probably the best customer service I've ever had she was very cheerful and really enjoys her job which is rare to have someone like that she made our stay more like home then a resort in basing my review of place more on her than anything she gets 5 stars for everything keep up the great work and if your reading this the coffee was great those few mornings and the laughs even better stayed 3 night she worked 2 of them thanks for the call to gf in room she is still chuckling
We arrived at the resort around 9PM. When we went to our room we quickly discovered it was not the room we paid for ( corner with fireplace / 2 queen beds) we were told that the hotel was overbooked this weekend and that our room was given to guests who arrived early. The bellhop was dispatched to guide us to the upgraded room.. not only was this not an upgrade, it only had one bed! To add to misery the room does not have internet connection. I have called 4 times and the response is the same I ll call IT . It feels like I paid 600/night for the Days Inn. The lack of customer service is appalling. If you are accustomed to 4 or 5 star hotels, do not come here.
The Mount Washington Resort was an incredible experience. Beautiful scenery surrounding a historic hotel with modern updates where it matters. The staff were top notch and very accommodating of every request. The amenities were also a great addition, from varying restaurants to numerous activities for children. Will definitely stay here again.
First class place. All the new amenities with being able to keep the old nostalgia.
Always an excellent place to visit. We had a nice lunch stickney's pub. There was a low cloud overcast so you did not get a good look at the mountains.
Beautiful place to relax, read or even nap in one of the many comfortable chairs. Of course, the views are wonderful. Restaurants are pricey but very good. Helpful, friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel, older but very nice. Rooms are a bit small. No fridge in our room.
Wonderful visit to the Mt. Washington Resort - The scenery and historic nature of the surroundings is a great change from the hustle and bustle of every day life.
Everything met my expectations but was looking for the WOW factor just once during the visit...
I would encourage all to explore this piece of NH history!!
We only visited to walk around and see the resort. It was beautiful, very well decorated for the holidays and clean.
Only gave 4 stars because they are adding on but the exciting building needs a lot of work. Looking at the windows from outside front of building had stuff in windows curtains were very very messy...staff is very friendly and helpful
The staff was very professional and the building was amazing.
Nice place. Couple of portals and a mission. ENL rocks
Great professional environment with friendly staff.
Attractive, clean, excellent service. Wonderful view of mount Washington. We had cocktails on the porch.
I never get tired of visiting this grand hotel. The huge wrap around veranda has spectacular views of Mount Washinton and the surrounding mountains. Spend a few hours and enjoy the friendly service and have a cocktail or beer.
The food and drinks were fantastic. The only issue I have is with the server's complaining about customers right in front of me.
Beautiful views of Mt. Washington. Bar was a little hard to find and guest parking was a little far away.
My husband and I took a wedding anniversary get-away to the Mount Washington Resort. We spent 2 nights enjoying a Luxury King suite, in addition to treating ourselves to the Love and Luxury special offering made available for couples (like us) who want to celebrate romance. We really enjoyed our stay in this lovingly restored historic hotel, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and attend to our every need. Thanks especially to Alyssa C. for giving us a very personal tour of the hotel, to Whitney for extending a warm welcome, and to our housekeeper Elizabeth who attended our room with efficiency and an eye for detail.
The grounds are beautiful and the restaurants are great. I would caution you to ask if the room displayed online is the same as the one you will actually be staying in, ours was not .
Grand Hotel in great location. Super views of Mount Washington. Unfortunately the house keeping is not at the same level. The food service is disorganized and the food itself inconsistent. Some very basic house keeping was completely overlooked.
Supper nice place overlooking a fun mountains including mount Washington and if you re are planning to go i would say go on July 4 because there firework show is unbelievably beautiful
My opinion may be different than others, so I will simply describe my impression of our stay.
The views of the mountain were outstanding even with bad weather. Glad we decided not to pay double for views from the room because the views were nice on both sides. We enjoyed how spacious it was in the lobby although we were really bummed the lobby was all closed off to seating. We came for our first wedding anniversary and would probably not come back. I just wanted to read a book and there weren t many places to lounge. Because of that, the places I could sit to read a book got packed and loud. We enjoyed the fire pits outside and we had a great dinner at Stickneys. But the first morning we got Pete s coffee ($5 for a bagel by the way) there was a barista who was EXTREMELY rude to us and it honestly ruined the morning.
I had a massage at the spa and it was fantastic. The spa was beautiful and the staff friendly and professional. My husband golfed and the price was fair. The course was old but he was happy he was able to get out there. The hotel is very far from everything which we thought would make it cozy but was also inconvenient for eating purposes. You have very limited options to eat. The cave was closed but everything else was open. That was a disappointment.
The main dining hall was absolutely horrendous service. The tables were definitely not 6 feet apart and it was uncomfortably close. We spent $50 on breakfast and our server completely neglected us. She did not check on us or refill our drinks, in which we would have told her that our food was ice cold by the time it came out. Everyone else around us was sat after us then done eating before us. Unacceptable. I informed the front desk about the issue and they were very receptive and helpful towards the issue. But we ate at the same place for dinner with a different server and it still was not great. The food was subpar, the server didn t come around all that much and there was absolutely no acknowledgement from the server of our big celebration although we mentioned it. There were only 6 options of meals for dinner and we just wished we had driven to North Conway for dinner instead. Waste of money.
The hotel room was tiny and the bathroom had no ventilation so it took away from the romance.
Not to mention there was black mold in the shower as shown in one of the pictures attached. If I were paying a lot less for the hotel room I would say I understand, it s an old hotel. But I do not understand charging $600 per night for a 100 year old outdated hotel that looks like the wood has been painted over 1000 times, no food is included, the rooms are so small and there s no refrigerator or stove in the room. We ve stayed in ocean front rooms on the beaches of Maui for cheaper than this place.
We were prepared for the cost. But we were not prepared for the lack of luxury for the price. We don t regret staying because it spoiled our curiosity. The food staff was terrible but the hotel staff was fantastic. My husband appreciated the history behind the hotel and we still made the most of it. But it s definitely not the nicest place we ve ever stayed. Won t be coming back.
What an amazing vacation destination! The hotel's history along with luxurious amenities delights and pampers. The food and beverage options provide a range of options from when you wake up until you're too exhausted at the end of an activity-filled day.
Take the time to visit the Mt Washington/Omni Resort in Bretton Woods. Beautiful hotel and beautiful surroundings.
Great atmosphere. Drinks at The Cave were extremely overpriced.
The charm at a high price, and a very small room ...
Great customer service and fun to stay in a piece of history-the views don't hurt either! would love to come back in the summer.
Went for a wedding. Beautiful venue, can't be beat.
Classic Grand Hotel. Beautiful scenery. Very good, but expensive food.
Beautiful room and great dinning in hotel restaurant , enjoyed 4th of July fireworks and live music in the cave bar ,we will return for another stay
A nice place to share with the family and especially with the youngest of the house, children! Well cold but very cute!
Took our mini moon here to hike the presidential peaks during the day, and live/sleep/eat in style at night. Beautiful rooms, happy hour on the back at sunset is spectacular. Dont miss dinner at the Bretton Ams Inn on the premises right near the main hotel - they always out do our already high expectations! The resorts spa is extensive and a great escape.
Great spot to look at the historic Mount Washington Hotel itself, with the Presidental Range as backdrop.
You can't beat drinks on the deck on a beautiful day
Very scenic hotel with great views and atmosphere. Large hotel complex has a lot to offer. The dining room offers a very nice, upscale dinner. The other restaurant served a great lunch. The Cave bar is a nice place for a drink in the dark. The room was clean and we'll appointed. Being an old building, the walls are a bit thin. So, hallway noise may be an issue for some. But once you are nestled in the cozy bed, you may just be able to ignore the rest of the world.
Felt at home, amazing views, and the hotel has a pet Bear, meet him at sunrise - don't tell the staff
Historical Resort in a location that is picture perfect, epic & unparalleled to almost any resort I have stayed at. This alone for some, accounts for the extremely high prices. However the resort needs some major upgrades/renovations to truly be a 4* resort as AAA suggests. Service is great from full time employees and mixed/poor from the large seasonal untrained staff. The outdoor deck and pool area are in dire need of TLC. Restaurants are far too expensive for what is provided; not that it's bad, just way overpriced to the point that it's laughable. That said, our family had an amazing time and my kids are begging to go back; and my wife and I are happy to oblige...
I've never actually stayed here, but WOW such a beautiful place!
Wonderful old hotel, excellent dinning. Cold in the winter, breathtaking views.
Modern update with wifi, cable tv, etc. Heated outdoor pool, tours and family activities.
Very disappointed with a far in advance planned stay for my family to celebrate my wife s 60th birthday. One room not ready until hours after arrival. Family suite viewed rooftop a/c units. 3 weddings stressed hotel staff. Very expensive weekend did not come close to meeting the value equation Promises made by hotel staff during reservation process not met
Spectacular views and wonderful atmosphere. Hope to get back soon.
