Walter was sent to my home to fix a very minor leak from a Lennox HVAC installed April 2019. Walter did a 'temporary' fix that would have held, but insisted that the job be done right. He ordered a part and two days later a final fix with the appropriate connectors were installed. I also learned more about an HVAC system than I ever knew before, thanks to Walter. A special shout out to Brandon who did the final fix. Polite and professional.

Recently Ernest came to our home to do an annual checkup of our furnace. He was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and gave advice on the type of filter we should use to keep our house more allergen-free. We were very pleased with his work.

Oliver Heating did a great job pinpointing the problem. Both technicians did a great job. They were on time. Service was restored quickly and for a great price!!

Talked to Oliver (and others) about a central air install. Oliver was prompt with scheduling a consultation and Dan @ Oliver listened to our needs to come up with a few proposals. There was no high pressure sales pitch.
Once we decided to move forward, I really appreciated the thorough walk thru with Dan and the install manager before work started to address all the details. The install was fast with a full team on site. I would definitely recommend Oliver for HVAC work to my friends.

I had a great experience with Oliver, as two technicians - Mark and Scott - came to my place last week to install a new Heat/AC unit. They were very nice, courteous, clean (booties, masks, drop cloth, etc) and did a fantastic job. They took out my old (47-year old!) unit, replaced it and explained everything they did. They even made me aware of a wiring mistake in my breaker panel and fixed it. I highly recommend them.
PS. The front office/sales and other technicians have always been nice as well.

Awesome responsiveness. Water pressure valve on the main water intake cracked. Started with a slow drip and grew quickly to a giant spray. Oliver responded after hours and had a plumber in our house at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. Replaced the valve and even improved the overall water pressure in my house! Huge relief!

Sean performed my system's maintenance check in a very thorough and efficient manner, explaining comprehensively everything and answering any questions. I was provided with tips on services and ways to keep a system running smoothly as well as information on my particular system to help ease some of my concerns. On top of everything I especially appreciate the fact that this young man was respectful of me and my home, very personable and warm, yet professional. Thank you Sean and thank you Oliver !

Bryan Carmichael knows what patience is when a customer is upset with his 60 days newly installed HVAC with very low air flow. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the situation to me so that I fully understand it and how it can be resolved. All in all, it was a great experience and was all done in a timely manner as well. I would highly recommend.

affter 20 years with the major servicer provider, we decided to try Oliver, after old service providert told us we needed to replace 2 units... later found out not necessary and they were pushing sales. Oliver was very responsive to a new customer and seemed more honest in meeting our systems needs.

While we were happy we got a prompt response, we were not happy with the service or the price. The technician that came reeked of smoke. He worked on the HVAC unit for 25 min to replace the gas valve. He went up to the thermostat to find out it still wasn't working. Turns out he put the OLD gas valve in, not the NEW gas valve so he had to do the work a 2nd time, for a total of 45 minutes now. All of the sudden I'm smelling A LOT of gas. I questioned the technician and he said "Yeah I forgot to seal off the pipe and gas got out but it's not dangerous to your health." Seriously? I couldn't believe they charged us $647 for this ordeal which was all labor because our unit is under warranty!! The next time we lost heat we hired a local company and the charge was only $125 so we now have a service contract with them. When I called Oliver customer service the manager did not seem to care about our concerning technician and instead, just tried to sell me their service agreement. Um, why would I want to have a service agreement with a company that I do not trust and overcharges?

We have used Oliver for our heating and AC maintenance since 2008 when they installed the current system. Our experience with the technicians working on theses systems is always good. They call beforehand so you know when to expect them. They are clean, courteous and efficient.

They have responded to repair requests in a timely fashion and again the people who come to the house are top notch.

The scheduling staff are not always up to the same standards. Not answering the phone, messages going unreturned, misinformed agents (the agent insisted I had a system i do not have)

The maintenance agreement allows for 1 visit each for AC and Heater - BUT in a calendar year. So when THEIR schedule doesn't work out and they push up the dates- you find yourself either arguing an agent because they may have checked your furnace in January although you tried to schedule for September- and when fall rolls around they won't do the serve heck because it is still in the same calendar year. Ridiculous. I have neglected maintenance just to get re- synchronized with their "policy"

And the company policy of having techs push other services or plastering advertising stickers on other systems (like the water heater or electric box) is not cool. I do not appreciate that. I get they have other services to offer but I'd prefer to be asked if I want to know about something instead of being told I should consider services or a finding adds in my basement.

Techs are excellent- company policies are not, and phone staff are average to horrible.

Oliver`s staff and installers were profressional, on time and provided everything they said they would. I highly recommend this company to anyone .

Have been a trusted resource for our home heating needs for many years. (The sentence above was written two years ago.) - Updating this review as we have since moved to a new location and quite simply, the service is still the BEST. Sean Meier has serviced our AC unit and our platinum service agreement is awesome. We have one for our heater and for our AC unit and the whole team at Oliver is responsive, caring and thoughtful. When it's time to consider upgrading our units, Oliver is who we'll call.

This was my first experience with Oliver Heating and Cooling. I gave Oliver a call and they scheduled an appointment for us to meet Tom Depaul. He arrived on time and followed all COVID-19 safety procedures. He was professional and personable. He inspected the existing HVAC system and oil fuel tank in our home and made observations/recommendations. During our first meeting, Tom actually provided several options of good, to better, to best heat pump system installations as well as a breakdown of rebates and actual pricing for oil remediation and tank removal, humidifier system, air filtration system and whole house comprehensive duct cleaning. Tom even showed a you tube video of Oliver s method for whole house comprehensive duct cleaning. To do our due diligence, we reached out to five other companies in the area and not one company came close to the price we were quoted by Oliver for the high-quality equipment and proposal of work. I had additional questions regarding equipment and the work proposal and Tom quickly answered each question whether by phone, text, or email. When we gave Tom the green light he connected me to Kim to set up for duct cleaning and to Rocco to set up for oil remediation/tank removal and heat pump system installation. I called Kim, who was very pleasant, and she confirmed a date for Jim and team to come out and clean the ducts. On the scheduled date, Jim and team arrived on time and followed all COVID-19 safety procedures. Jim and team were professional, personable, and got right to work sealing registers/returns, creating access points within the trunk line and supplies and using equipment to dislodge and remove debris mechanically or through pressurized air. Jim and team thoroughly cleaned the entire duct system (showing before and after pictures), cleaned up the area they worked in and even took the time to answer questions that we had at the end. We were very happy with the duct cleaning. After the duct cleaning, Rocco set up time for environmental demolition team(sub-contracted) to remediate oil and remove oil tank, and heat pump installation team (Oliver) to come out a few weeks later. On the scheduled date, like Jim s team, Clint, Brian, and Ron arrived on time and followed all COVID-19 safety procedures. Clint, Brian, and Ron were so personable and got right to work disconnecting the old HVAC system and installing the new Heat pump system. The company Oliver sub-contracted out to remediate oil and remove tank were clean and efficient. Clint, Brian, and Ron worked efficiently installing new duct work, plumbing, and electrical, and heat pump, air-handler, humidifier, and air filtration equipment. Once fully integrated, they tested the system, cleaned up the area they worked in, provided us an overview of all the work that was done and how to operate the heat pump system and answered all questions we had at the end. Again, we were very happy with the result of the heat pump installation. You can bet we ll be keeping our Oliver sign up to show how happy we are with the overall experience with Oliver. Team Oliver rocks!

The tech arrived promptly and assisted with a very easy fix for a non issue.

I can t say enough good things about Oliver. But more importantly George and the installation team. Same day quote, great follow up, incredible installation, friendly, timely and the list goes on. We will look no further in the future, we are customers for life!

My latest experience was with Tom D, who helped me evaluate & select the best heating option for my home when the original system that came with the house no longer worked. He was thorough with his measurements, transparent with his pricing, and helped me understand the pro's and con's of each option available. He also helped me take advantage of all of the sales specials & pricing available, which made their work extremely competitive with other options. 6 months later, I do no have buyers remorse, and am extremely happy with my experience.

We received quick service from Oliver. Our service technician was able to find the problem with our air conditioner and order the parts quickly. Sam D. Then went about making sure all the details were taken care of so when the part arrives it can be installed as quickly as possible. Heat went out at our Home-... BBRRR COLD------ Oliver Heating send "Don" to our home that day- Don was thoughtful by putting booties on his shoes and went right to work- Had the parts we needed on the truck and in 2 hours had the heat working and then checked all the other parts of our heater to ensure everything was working correctly. Cleaned up after himself and reviewed went happened and why.

Brent, our service technician, arrived right on time. He was courteous, professional and thorough in everything he did. He efficiently performed the annual maintenance on the A/C in a timely manner. He also advised that we may want to look into a newer, more efficient unit given the age of ours. As a result, we've made an appointment for an evaluation and estimate.
Joan, the customer service representative, was also courteous and professional. She made the scheduling process quick and easy. Overall, a very good experience thanks to both of them.

My AC condenser units fan had seized up and needed replacing. Oliver's technician came out and confirmed this and gave me a price for them to replace and a list of parts if I wanted to do it myself. I appreciated his honesty and assistance.

Very happy with the 11/13/19 installation of our new Rheem water heater and Lennox Heat/AC system. The three installers were on time, professional, and friendly. The two products were up and running by mid-afternoon and the Oliver guys cleaned up everything before leaving. Five Stars for Oliver!

I have a maintenance plan with them for AC and a furnace. In addition, I need them once or twice a year to fix problems. They are always on time, doing a great job. And, always all the repairs are covered by the plan (maybe I am just lucky). What a wonderful company. I wish every service company was like them.

I used them recently when I had a a problem installing a new water. The guy who came out Andrew H. (can't remember full last name) was great. He had to order a new part which got there the next day and he came back to install it. There was a problem getting it lit even with the new part but he stayed and worked on it till he got it working. I felt that he went above and beyond to get the work done so I was very happy with their service.

Installed new heater and air conditioner units. Ron, Matt and Dave arrived on time. They were very professional and courteous. Left all work areas immaculate. Explained everything. Could not of had a better crew or experience!

Jennifer was great in getting me an appointment the same day. James was outstanding i. His care of my house and cleanliness in clean up after he finished. Great to have hot water again!

Oliver s owners and employees are good people. They hire the best and treat them like family. They charge a fair price and take time to do it right.

Repairman was great. He was clean, competent and on time. My problem is the cost which wasn't his fault. He replaced the ignitor for which Oliver charged $336. The part can be found online for less than $20. We had to have heat so I paid but this was entirely too much markup! It comes with a warranty but big deal.

Right away on time at the front door there was a clean professional smiling young man. It eased my mind knowing i was letting a man come in my home to work & i was not nervous. My concerns were addressed & i was pleased with the service from Corey. I highly recommend this technician for a reward. Thanks Corey!

I've had problems with my Trane AC system since it was installed two years ago. Condenser replaced twice. Three other service calls. Very annoying but Oliver has repaired promptly each time. Can't fault them.

Jason Person did the annual maintenance and checked out an error code. He was knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, and discovered a safety issue. Oliver has installed and maintained our HVAC systems for over 30 years.

I got five bids from highly reputable contractors for installation of central a/c. While all five submitted responsive and attractive bids, Oliver offered the best combination of price and quality. Installation was completed on time by a courteous and highly professional crew, and sales support was excellent.

The technicians are ALWAYS excellent and know their stuff but the office management needs some real improvement. I have used Oliver for years and purchased a complete new system from them with maintenance contracts renewed and plumbing as well. I even referred my family member to them who just purchased a 12K Trane system from them. I asked them to come out and install a new smart t-stat in my home. Was told on phone it was an 85.00 service call fee plus what ever parts needed were extra. Turned out that it was a flat rate and cost me 450.00 and the office manager was less than willing to cut me any break. With all the business I have given this company and the referral, I felt this was not communicated correctly from the main office at time of scheduling.

As I said, the tech's are excellent but they really need new office management who actually shows some decency towards their customers. Without us, they have no business. I will be looking for a more customer centric company with higher quality management.

We were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the knowledge and friendliness of your representative. I find Oliver services to be very good but also very, very expensive. I will be getting quotes from three other service companies for all future work. Great work just to costly.

Great experience with the service provided by Scott Kay and Mark Brown who replaced our 12 yr old heat/cool system. We are long term customers of Oliver and will continue to be.

Great experience from first call to install. Other companies want to come over to discuss your options and have the nerve to charge a fee for this luxury. I had to turn down two of these such vendors. Whatever happened to free estimates? That aside, Kim A was wonderful, accommodating and patient with my questions and worked around my schedule. I got a free quote over the phone. She was detailed in the quote and explained the differences between the options available. No pressure at all. I could've been scheduled the next day but chose a note suitable time.

Michael B arrived within the stated timeframe and was done within 2 hours. Since my old heater was leaking badly the night before, it had pretty much drained itself. I'm sure that helped the total time of the install. He was accommodating in using my provided heater pan.

My existing unit didn't have an expansion tank installed and Oliver included this in their price. The other quote had it as a separate line item with its own price.

Granted it's been 2 days since the install, I'm content to this point and have learned a bit about water heaters from Kim. Especially how to maintain and hopefully prolong the life of this one.

I have used Oliver for years. I just had a new AC unit installed and they did a great job. The installers are friendly and clean up like they were never there.

Oliver has been our go to company when we needed work done on any of our heating and AC. They also serviced and installed a new water heater for us. Last year our HVAC system finally died after 22 years. We went first to Oliver for a quote and then checked with others and nobody came as close to our budget than Oliver. They did an excellent job of changing out the old and installing the new. It was at a very good price. Their service and installation staff are top notch and I would recommend them to anyone.

We always had great service from Oliver. Have had them replace our heater and air conditioning twice in our 51 years at our present residence. Had their contract for both times . Just had our latest units put in two years ago and always happy with their work and service. The service people are always pleasant and always neat in their work. Great experience with Christa for scheduling and service of both my gas heater and heat pump by Joseph. Joseph was professional and thorough (and also found the filters in the basement and changed the heater filter). In addition, he was a big hit with my dog and if you are a dog owner - you know how important that is!!

We experienced a major water leak from our water heater PM Friday (5/31) calling JM Oliver for help. By 3 PM two technicians arrived, diagnosed the problem, and installed a new 50 gallon heater.
