We started using you guys in 2006 when we needed new heat and AC. Mark was so great to work with. We have been sold ever since, and have recommended BV ever since to our entire neighborhood. On hold for 10 minutes, receptionist says she s the only one working, their computer system is slow and finally she tells me they can get someone out to my frozen house in 5 days.... no thanks!

Chuck did an excellent job when he came in for my fall preventive maintenance. He took the time to share his knowledge about my heating and air conditioning system and answer my questions. I could tell that I was getting good information from someone who knew what he was talking about.

They came right out to give me pricing on two larger HVAC projects but getting them to finish the job has been painful. I was the one paying the bill but had very little communication from the crew. Ended up with some mistakes because they just talked to any old person who happened to be in the job site instead of the person whose name was on the contract. When I tried to correct the issues I got some major attitude and finger pointing. Of course the billing department runs quite efficiently. When I tried to hold back a tiny fraction of the remaining balance until the work was complete, I started getting nasty-grams. Faxed a reply and weeks later...zippo.

Had a great overall experience with the install of new ductless system. They understood what I wanted and the install team worked hard to finish as quickly and as unobtrusive as possible.

About a week ago, after our first oil delivery of the season, our oil tank started leaking! Brandywine Valley came out and diagnosed the leak, installed a temporary patch on the tank to stop the leak, installed a new tank, cleaned up the oil that had leaked onto our basement floor and pumped our oil from the old tank to the new in less than 24 hours. All of the technicians were polite and professional and everyone was a pleasure to work with. Hopefully this new tank will outlive me, but if the need arose, I would definitely use them again!

Had a great experience in the past but not this time around. Called at the beginning of the week because AC is down and was told that I am being put on the emergency board and someone will get back. Didn't hear anything for several days and when calling back I was told that it will take another week or two until someone is available.

Excellent experience over many years until today. Called Wednesday to report AC outage. Was told service person available Friday (today). Checked status 2PM Friday and was informed contract maintenance customers take precedence no service until "next week". Monday is holiday and no specific commitment as to when service tech would be available next week. Horrible customer communication leaving me with on Friday before holiday week-end with no AC and losing two dayswhen I might have been able to get another firm to provide service.

Chuck is professional, personable and efficient. On time and with respect for the premises. Also, when I lost power and was concerned about pipes bursting, I contacted BVH&A and received an immediate response with details on next steps. The on call technician stated that he could come within the hour. I did not need the service, thankfully. I am impressed with the speed of response to a potential emergency situation. Thank you.

Brian the technician has done out bi-annual service several times. He is always courteous, processional and on time. He does the job efficiently and lets me know any and all details I need to know.

It has been 21-years since Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning installed our first Trane AC unit. We called them once again to replace our old unit which is still operational. They did an excellent professional install. They performed excellent yearly maintenance on our old unit back in (1996) and now with our new Trane 14 seer unit. They are a top of the line HVAC company that has established themselves as a 5-star company over the many years in business. We would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC install or service. Jon was fantastic to work with . I chose Brandywine because I trusted his sales approach which was very low key and no pressure. When the guys came out to do the install, they were all very professional and cleaned up at the end of the day before returning . I would absolutely recommend using Brandywine if you want a no pressure sales experience .

I have always had a great experience with this Company. Myself and my parents before me have always had a service contract. I had a 30 year old heater and a 20 year old air conditioner. Now my heater was on its last leg and had been for a couple of years. But at no time did any of the techs tell me I needed a new heater. They would service it and keep it running. It was not until I brought it up that the service tech says yes, you need a new heater. These guys are great!

Brandywine Valley has service my furnace for the last 9 years. Their technicians are very good at what they do and will take the time to explain should you have questions. We've had Anibal service our furnace the last 3 or 4 times and I am very very satisfied with his work.

We contacted Brandywine heating and cooling on oe of the coldest days in the winter. Our house was hovering at 63 degrees. And would not get any warmer. We were originally told that they would send someone out the next day but then recieved a call back that the local technician had finished his day earlier than expected and could come out right away. Anibal showed up about 15 minutes later. He was very polite and professional. He answered all of our questions. It took him only a few minutes to figure out what was wrong and order the part that he needed. He returned a few days later and installed it. The whole interaction was efficient and pleasant. Thank you Anibal. Our house is nice and toasty now.

Tech was knowledgeable and professional, got here fast, even though off-hours and got the job done quickly. There was some confusion about the price but within a day, the owner of the company called to apologize and fixed it straight away.

We turned on our AC yesterday and it wasn't working correctly. At around 3:00 AM it will was still pretty warm in the house, and my husband was up and trying to figure out a solution and wrote an email to Bill Ronayne, the owner of BVHVAC. Bill responded by 5:30 AM. A technician was at the house a few hours later, so was Bill. The issue was resolved within an hour. We were previously with Wesley Wood and could not have been more unhappy. They are awful. Brandywine HVAC is the best around. Bill is a class act and his technicians really know their stuff.

I called a service call in for a strange odor coming from my furnace, the tech arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, cured the problem and made a few suggestions to prevent the problem from happening again. Very appreciative of the great service but honestly, this is exactly what Brandywine Valley customers are used to. Thanks again everyone!

Amazing experience from start to finish when we needed a whole new heating/AC unit. Not only did they give us one of the best prices in town, but we were impressed with the knowledge and responsiveness of our sales rep during the process! The crew who handled our install did an excellent job on the work and explaining everything to us post install. Also- the area was super clean! Def plan to continue to give BVHC our business!

I used Brandywine HVAC for several years, and I thought I was satisfied with their work until I found out that they did not set the right gap of my oil burner electrodes (probably causing them to wear-off prematurely). The price they quoted me for new electrodes was a complete rip-off. They wanted to charge me $252 for a part the costs only about $15! In addition, the part their technician wanted to install was a wrong part for my burner. Their President told me that they charge all their customer this price. I am writing this review to make sure they have fewer customers to rip-off.

We are always satisfied with the service provided by Brandywine Valley HVAC. Our technician, Jim, has performed our service for a couple of years which is nice for continuity. He is polite and knowledgeable as are all the employees we have dealt with.

Anibal is very knowledgeable. He Picked up on a safety issue that wasn't performed correctly by the last service company and could have been catastrophic.

Brandywine installed a new AC unit with quite a bit of new duct work as well. Mark took the time to go over all of our options and was friendly and prompt. Bill drew up clear plans and showed them to me and explained how it would improve the AC performance. Marty and Joel installed the new unit and all the duct work, a tough job as my attic has a low ceiling. The work was done well and they cleaned up after themselves. The new unit is so quiet, I have a hard time hearing it when it's on. Great experience, excellent communication from all involved, highly recommended.

I made an appointment online in which I received a response the next day from Mark. The email stated that someone would contact me that morning and try to get someone out that day or the next. That call never happened. I emailed back stating this and Mark's reply was apologetic and said that he would show up today around 2:30pm. It is currently 4:30pm and no one has come yet, not even a phone call. It boggles my mind that I was looking to possible give you my business and apparently you don't want it. Nothing like taking a day off from work and no one shows up. Unfortunately I have to give 1 star to post this otherwise it would be 0.

We only used to use Brandywine Valley for repair and maintenance, but this year we asked them for an estimate for our new hearing and A/C, and I'm glad we did. They not only have us an estimate, but showed us ALL the options, pros and cons of different features compared to price. We were able to make an informed decision, instead of a blind decision like the other two companies wanted us to do.

Since we've had the new system, our heating and cooling bills are both dramatically lower and our home is more comfortable. Yay!

I sent a long note to Bill (owner) about how wonderful Jon, Sean and Zack were. In the middle of the July heatwave my attic HVAC system collapsed and died. Without going into major details Brandywine heating was always my first choice. Jon Dunn helped me understand options and select the right system and Sean and Zack installed the system when it was 90 degrees outside. After 8 years of having a service contract, never having made a service request, I contacted Brandywine Valley for an issue I needed resolved. I was clear as to the problem that I had and The technician showed up without the tool he needed - then charged me $99:00 for the service call where he did nothing.

Brandywine Valley Heating & Air Conditioning has the best service in the area. You definitely need to check them out for your HVAC needs. Their service is very professional and in my opinion the best. I would not go anywhere else for your HVAC services. They are very personable and make the experience very pleasant and also affordable.

Even before I had a service contract that, among other things, provides preferential ranking for service calls, BVHVAC always showed up quickly when I needed them.

The service techs who have been in the house to replace a gas burner, hot water heater as well as routine maintenance have all been down to earth and, most importantly to me, knowledgable and willing to share what they know with me.

Same goes for the people who handle my phone calls. This is really a top-shelf, customer oriented business that takes its place in the services industry very, very seriously.

Jim arrived exactly when expected, was courteous and quiet (my kids were taking a nap) and proactively gave me some great advice on future maintenance. I appreciated his attention to detail, cleanliness and help.
