I brought my car in for an oil change. It was out of warranty. Before , could even say hello to the Rep, Elan, He says you have low oil because you have an oil leak!' I was confused , he can determine that in 3 seconds, when there is no visible signs of leakage, and he was not a mechanic. I told him I was just there for an oil change. I just did a multi-point inspection, and nothing was wrong. He began to ask if I had extended warrantly coverage (RED FLAG), I was concerned that he was setting me up for bogus charges. When I reiterated that I just wanted an oil change. 2 hours later, I get a call that I need an oil filter housing, and repair to power steering pump, and that would be $4,000.00! What he did not know was my Fiance is a BMW Employee and works in Ontario for BMW America. My car is in excellent condition. I called and told him he lauged and said, the games begin. I hope that they did not intentionally screw with your car to have you return. Let see what happens...

Last Summer my wife saw an X3 with big wheels and wanted it. I called around and couldn't find any with the large engine. I called Dan Fox at Alexander and he told me they had one. The price was about 100.00 more per month than I wanted to pay, but Dan was able to get the tint and roof racks added so I felt like I was being well taken care of. Only complaint is that the exhaust is loud on the big engine X3, but we think its a blast to drive.

I move around often for work and because of this, I end up dealing with BMW dealers across the country. I buy BMW expecting great service and dealers rarely disappoint. That said, my most recent experience with Nick Alexander BMW has set the standard for excellence as far as I m concerned.
My wife's X5 was just totaled in an accident so I was searching for a CPO X4 for her. She had a very specific color/options combo she wanted so I was searching nationwide with a plan to ship to my home in Virginia. As luck would have it, what she wanted was on the exact opposite side of the country on the Nick Alexander BMW lot.
The car was perfect and listed at a fair price so I called immediately. It was an hour before closing time on a Sunday and Irvin Fonseca picked up the phone. He couldn t have been more helpful. He really went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable buying this car long distance. He sent me pictures, video, and answered numerous (probably annoying) questions.
When I told Irvin I d take the car, there was initially some confusion. I guess the car was not really supposed to be for sale yet and had been listed online inadvertently. It was still in the service department undergoing the CPO inspections.
My initial thought was that they wouldn t be able to sell me the car because it was still in maintenance and the price would likely increase based on any work being done to certify it for BMW CPO.
As it turns out, my concerns were unfounded. Everything quickly sorted out after speaking to Henry Ryu and Axel Rodriguez. In a pretty classy display of integrity, they honored the original price listed on the web page, agreed to hold the car for me until it came out of service, and helped me through a complicated out-of-state registration issue.
I really can t say enough about the incredible sales department at Nick Alexander. As I type this, the car is getting ready for transport but if the customer service is any indication of the rest of the operation, the car will not disappoint when it arrives.
Thank you to the Nick Alexander team for making this a fantastic car buying experience for me and keeping me in good graces with the wife.

Update: but then of course they come back and tell you the issues you are having are not covered by the warranty. I had to go to Pacific BMW in Glendale to find out the car had a warranty covered oil leak and water pump issue.

Nick Alexander has to be THE WORST bmw branch on the planet. Eddie HAS to be THE WORST "service advisor" on EARTH! This guy/company had my vehicle for THREE MONTHS last September-December for a "suspension" issue that then turned in to 2 subsequent estimates which included coolant work, batteries, you name it. Poor Geico ate it all to the tune of 11k. I've had multiple issues with Nick Alexander and Eddie in service since that time but nope, this last incident CLEARLY demonstrates their complete lack of professionalism, customer retention, customer service, intelligence, etc. Mind you the entire coolant system was replaced less then a year ago. Then the radiator fluid starts leaking like crazy, check engine lights and all that. So I take it in and tell him the coolant system has an issue and it appears to be leaking out of the radiator. I remind Eddie the "service advisor" who's had this same vehicle in his hands no less then 4 times over the last year. (It's a 2016 740iM, 92k + tax/lic =101k, why is this car in the shop 4 times in a year and the techs at Nicky can't get it right) so I tell Eddie the issue and he looks me in the face and swears up and down that they NEVER did coolant work on this vehicle!!! looks all over his computer in god knows what files, calls the warranty company who tells him "yes Eddie, you asked us for this in November" then he hangs up the phone with a dumber then dumb look on his face but continues to say, "NOPE, NEVER!" Lmfao.. so I tell him don't worry just do it. Mind you he offers me no loaner, I have a 100k BMW, he says I won't have it more then 2 days but if so I promise to get you one, nope never happens and he has the car a week. Anyhow I have to call Geico and track down the old adjusters number, he's not there anymore, I track down his old supervisor who is by the grace of luck able to get me the receipt showing Eddie and Nick Alexander billing Geico for an ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM!!!!! so he's trying to bill me $2100 for this radiator that HE REPLACED and SWORE ME IN THE FACE HE DIDNT, up until I show up a week later to get my car with the Geico receipt!! oh so wait a minute Eddie you mean to tell me you searched your computer hardware, software, spamware, underware, called the body shop, racked your brain, mediated to god, and still came up short with the FACT you replaced THE ENTIRE COOLANT SYSTEM!! OMG!! No loaner, no apologies, no car wash, nada... just a dumber then dumb look. Hey NICK ALEXANDER can you HEAR ME NOW...!???
DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this dealership! I was communicating with Jessica (Internet Sales Manager) via e-mail for several days regarding a vehicle they have on their lot. I sent her down payment and monthly payment that I was looking for and she assured me that they can do it. I asked her sevar times to send a breakdown of the lease terms and she refused claiming that she did want me to go to another dealer. Jessica promissed me that she will give me the deal with terms I sent her. Well, tonight I drove for over an hour to go pick up the car and I was presented with numbers much higher than what we agreed in e-mail. DO NOT TRUST them and DO NOT go to their dealership and waist your time! They do not deserve not even one star!

This is the way car buying SHOULD be! I wish I had come to Nick Alexander Imports first. They have (pretty much) every version of every BMW on the lot, so comparing models and options is really a joy. I felt like I was able to make the best decision possible because I could test-drive what I needed in order to narrow down my preference. The salespeople were very knowledgeable, patient and respectful.
Had to update my previous score I went there for a routine maintenance and it didn't take that long very friendly but the second time I went back for recall they told me it was going to take roughly three to four hours okay wonderful. got there early around 7 call back around 10 asking if they got started on my car. they said no they were backed up and I asked well how long you think it might take. they said they weren't sure if it was going to be able to get to my car that day then I made a stink about how you guys told me that it was going to take roughly three to four hours 2 hours later they told me my car was ready.
The services here is excellent! Buying my mini cooper was easy unlike other dealers! The process is fast!

The staff was nice. However , I took my car for airbag recall replacement and when i picked up my car it was the same old faded airbag I already had. My buddy took his car to another dealer and they did in fact put a new airbag. I don't even think they touched my steering wheel lol. One thing is stating they replaced it and another is stating it was not needed.

Henry Ryu and John Won have been so good to me over the past 3 years. In 2015 I got a beyond believable insane deal on a very rare loaded, 6 spd manual 335i M Sport with Track Package. The lease just expired and they made sure to give me another great deal to buy it out. I have recommended multiple friends to them who have also had great experiences. Great, friendly service. The guys know their stuff about their vehicles, and there's a darn good chance they have the vehicle you'd like in the inventory - even the rare stick shifts.

A very high-class dealer in a trafficky, out-of-the-way part of town. And by "class" I mean the care and quality made routine by the people that work here on all levels -- service, sales, financial, and the return-of-lease agent, Stephanie, who was quite pleasant to deal with and made the return very simple. I leased a 328i in 2014, returned in 2017, and everyone I dealt with in those 3 short years was both respectful and knowledgeable. I did not end up leasing my next car here, mainly because I wanted to try another brand, but I'm missing BMW already, and the people here are more laid back and less "macho" than most dealers I've visited. They do seem to be trying to make the customer experience like this one at a nice all-inclusive luxury hotel -- pleasant and hassle-free. From the on-time service pick-ups at my condo to the low-key and helpful staff, this place is the first one I'll visit if I'm the BMW market in SoCal in future.
I worked with both Eddie and Gustavo in the service department. They were beyond helpful in getting my wife's car fixed in a timely manner and even went the extra mile to assist me when some idiot backed in to my loaner vehicle. Great team and I will be returning to service both my BMW's here in the future.
