After reading reviews I thought this was the route for me. I was in this program around a year and a half. They convince you that most companies will settle your debt for 50% or less and they charge you 20%. That definitely wasn't the case. I enrolled 7 credit cards with NDR. First you have to stop paying on them. So this ruins your credit. In this time 2 of the 7 cards got settled. A 3rd was set up on a payment plan for more then I owed plus the fees to NDR. Once Covid hit the government took my job. NDR said I could miss 2 payments and it would be fine. Unfortunately the card we had settled then canceled the settlement and decided to take me to court. I called to cancel NDR and they said they convinced me to stay on another month while they tried to settle it. They really just wanted the extra months money that they took as fees for settling the account that canceled the settlement. I ended up canceling and the lawyer I had through them got them to pay me back. Thank goodness! I settled the other debts myself and negotiated better deals on my own. Also not only do you pay them but you will also be paying taxes on the money you saved on your settlement. Unless you like throwing your money away I recommend running from this company.
