I've had multiple issues with this company recently, and their customer service has definitely declined since I enrolled in March 2018. First of all, I opened a service request with National Debt Relief on 08/04/2019 and requested that they skip my two deposits scheduled for August 2019 because of income loss caused by a recent illness. The service request remained open for over a week, and I was charged a $25.00 NSF fee by my credit union because National Debt Relief attempted to withdraw my August 12th deposit after I specifically asked them not to. They only corrected their mistake after I opened another service request. Second, NDR recently contacted me with a settlement offer for one of my creditors and requested that I respond "as soon as possible". They gave me NO indication that I need to accept the settlement offer within 48 hours in order to avoid losing the settlement; they just said to respond "as soon as possible". For me that might be 3-4 days from the date I receive an email, because I work nights and often don't have time to check my email before I leave for work. If NDR only gives you 48 hours to accept or reject a settlement, they need to specifically mention it when they contact me with an offer! Overall I've been satisfied with their customer service until recently, but it's going downhill fast. I suggest they get to work on improving it if they want to retain me as a client.
