Probably one of the worst companies you can work for. One of the regional managers that managed the Omaha area was HORRIBLE. She belittled, argued and gossiped about her staff all the time. She did not teach people new things and had no faith in her team. When the issue's were brought to the asset manager WITH proof he shrugged it off and went on his way. Horrible company. Stay away from them.

My name is Malina King. I rented a unit from The Colonial Apartments in Omaha, Nebraska 2016-2018. I was on a Housing Voucher, I was in a domestic violence relationship and the end of 2017 I put an emergency move packet in with OHA and I received my new move packet Nov 2017. I told the office I was going to be moving due to domestic violence and my ex breaking into my apartment. The property manager that was there at the time was HORRIBLE and very RUDE. The property manager didn't like me what do ever and I was okay with that. I was never late on any payments I never had any noise complaints. The property manager wanted to tell me I had 60 days to move out and I said so I'm breaking my lease? The property manager said yes! Well I went to run my credit report this year and this company wants to put $1700.oo debit collection on my name. I've been turned down my a hamd full of places because of this issue. I've tried contacting the Monarch Investment Group and I've left messages after messages but no one ever returns my calls. I finally went out to the Apartments office and spoke with a new leasing agent and I was informed today that the old prior leasing agent and property manager did not only do this to me but also a hand full ofindividualls as. I left my apartment in perfectly good standing . so as for this I would never recommend anyone renting from this company

I've been working for Monarch Investment now for a few months, and I have to say, I am beyond impressed. The support from the corporate team and onboarding training is exceptional. The people are wonderful and it truly feels like a family atmosphere. They empower the on-site teams to truly take care of their residents. So glad to be part of the team.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but I'm very disappointed in Monarch. My apartment at Rosewood in Alexandria, La was very nice, but I believe I've been treated unfairly by upper management after breaking my lease.
The apartment was spotless when I moved out. I knew the repercussions of ending my agreement, but the property manager graciously waived all fees to break the lease and signed my move out document stating no money was owed.
However, after no more correspondence from Rosewood, I am now receiving calls from a bill collection agency for $1900- which had been waived.
I contacted the regional manager to discuss this mistake and she just told me to set up a payment plan with collections- which is an easy alternative to solving my problem.
I'm so disappointed and wish I had been contacted by Monarch first about this. I truly believe I do not owe this money and wish upper management contact info was more accessible. If you rent through this company, I truly hope nothing goes wrong because communication amongst branch managers is clearly lacking.

We moved to this property as my husband was an employee. The apartment flooded at least once a week. We asked for a transfer and i found out by walking into the office that the regional manager was thinking about not approving the transfer because the problem could be fixed. Did i mention that i made my request months ago? No one followed up. I had to go in to the office to find this out.

Applied at one of their properties in West Chester, OH. I never even stepped foot on the property and turned down. My issue is with them keeping a $175 Administrative Fee. That was suppose to be used to prepare apartment. I also paid $60 background check fee. If I was turned down because of background check I understand, but to keep $175 during a pandemic for no actual reason is a highly suspect business practice !!! Don't recommend !!!!

I have never worked for a company that has made me feel so appreciated! For the past year I have come to see just what a blessing it is to work for Monarch, the room for growth is one of the biggest pluses to this company and what they offer to help you excel in your best abilities is unlike anything I have experianced in my work life. They know how to take care of their workforce and they know how to manage despite what emotionally led reviews may seem to present. High level professionalism, and a highly postive atmosphere with shining personalities behind all the work makes this company, this management team set apart from others. As an employee I only hope to keep the flame alive within me so that I can stay for many, many years with a company that I truly care for and appreciate!

Our smoke detector went out and was making very annoying noises. They came in the day I put in the maintenance request, fixed it, and even brought in our package by the door. The place was a mess, so I felt bad, but they left us a sweet note letting us know everything they did!

I posted a review of my concerns about one of Monarchs properties in Reynoldsburg, OH about 3 weeks ago. Monarch responded with their blanket response to contact them via email, which I have 3 times. No one from corporate ever responds, and I can t get a resolution to the issues on the property I rent. The only response that I received was a call from the property manager, which was pointless. All she did was apologize and listen to my concerns, but there have been ZERO movement to fix the problem. I ve had a massive tree in my backyard, up to my patio that fell from the roots from a storm. The tree has been there for 5 weeks and it looks like they have zero interest in removing it. I rent a property that has a backyard, however, I cannot access the yard bc of this tree. The potholes have still not been fixed in the complex, and there is no indications of work to begin. The fact that this company and their managers refuse to fix such issues is deplorable.

I live at the property fairways at Lowry that they manage. I took over the lease for a friend who was moving out of state. I do not recommend anyone to live at this property.

I highly encourage corporate to take a stroll across the grounds and you will be appalled by the lack of care. Trash and dog feces is EVERYWHERE. You can't even walk through the grass without fear of stepping on poo. Outside the maintenance shop is always junk and children play in it.

The pool is not locked and so children have free reign of when they can go in without supervision. People trash this community whether it's inside or out. Homeless people sleep in the buildings and laundry rooms because the doors to the buildings are propped open by unauthorized occupants. Or they just go through building H which is never locked. There is the smell of urine in the stairways and the elevator.

The staff doesn't care about this property and you can tell.

My son and daughter n law currently live at Huntle...

My son and daughter n law currently live at Huntley Ridge in clarksville. The bathroom upstairs is falling apart, bathtub is leaking into the walls and sub floor. They were told when discussing signing the lease the bathroom would be repaired. The repair consisted of 3 ceramic tiles being caulked into the window. Yesterday there kitchen ceiling caved in under the weight of the water leaking in between the two floors, which covered the counter, stove, fridge and floor. It took 3 hours to shop vac all of the water, installation and mold. Today the maintenance man came to look st it, was there 5 minutes and left. He came back a few minutes later with caulk and new tiles for there drop down ceiling and said there leak didn't need to be repaired because it was just a slow leak. They wouldn't let him do the work, called and asked if the manager back and said this wasn't safe and asked if she, herself could come and look, Renee said NO they need to stop calling and stop being dramatic. All of this is on top of moldy, nasty windows and window A.C units shoved into a hole cut out in the walls that are way to big where they currently have birds nests residing in the walls. They have a baby due in one month and this isn't safe to bring a baby home to so we called code enforcement and the health department. Also, their neighbors ceiling fan fell out if there ceiling and hit her daughter in the head a few months ago. Seriously, this place wants $900 a month for a NASTY 2 bedroom that they refuse to maintain!!! Do yourself a favor and don't even call!!! I have pictures to prove what I've reported!

The company had bought the apartment where I used to live. I had lived there for about 8 to 9 years no problems. Getting stuff fixed and what not. As soon as they came in they were VERY insistant on renewing the lease 4 months before it was even up. Alot if problems when it came to having them come out and fix some stuff. The office management was very rude and had short one word answers. I know many residents at the area all had/have similar problems. I moved out that same year as soon as out lease ended. They are quick to ask for your money, or charge you if you missed one day but ignore when they need to fix problem areas. This comes from the Cincinnati, Ohio locations. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Monarch just took over from Mills in St. Louis, Monarch accepted late January payment for Mills yet never forwarded to Mills. Now Mills submitting collection actions less than 2 weeks after, sounds like collusion on both parties part, have all receipts . Property owned by monarch management, cedar trace ...

Property owned by monarch management, cedar trace is Horrific and the problems caused due to apartment & management is inexcusable. I want to give zero rating as i have been giving complaints from day one and nothing is resolved.
1. Water leakage in restroom and kitchen because of Management laundry. When complained they never took seriously as a result it drowned my kitchen & restroom.
2. What made me more embarrassing is the response from management you are only getting laundry water to your home instead of saying we will stop it.
3. We faced issues with refrigerator, Dishwasher, kitchen dispenser as well, so they just planted all refurbished pieces in apartments as a cover which breaks within no time.
4. When i asked about change in apartment they asked me to pay extra 500$ for transfer and 2000$ for breakage. They caused the problem not solving it.
Don t join/ lease in apartment managed by monarch. They are bad to my knowledge as i have leased around 5 apartments before who are quite responsible.

Seasons on Chelsea is a joke. 5 star reviews only come from Monarch Employees. Monarchs higher ups are as informed on how to handle issues as a grade school child. To top this all off, resident services will send a generic reply that they care etc etc.

If you scroll through all the reviews you will see they don t As different people have complained about the staff and quality of living conditions over and over and they still have everyone there. Someone couldn t take a shower for over 4 days that was moved into a ready apartment and they had the audacity to reply we are sorry we didn t live up to your expectations ! So a shower is something that I guess in their book exceeds normal expectations?

They Hire and pay people cheap so you get cheap service. Don t reply you care and want me to reach out as I won t.

To everyone reading this, research research research. Document EVERYTHING from moving in to moving out. If you re currently at a property and nothing is getting fixed. Escrow your rent.

Good luck everyone and monarch get your sh*t together.

NOTICE-This is not a 5 star rating by an employee ...

NOTICE-This is not a 5 star rating by an employee of the "Executive" Towers, any of its sister properties (The Brick Lofts, La Salle or Commodore Perry). This an actual review from a previous tenant, not an inaccurate and misleading representation (as all of the pictures and online descriptions posted on behalf of the property and Monarch Investment Group are).
I will try to be brief as I mention the countless shortcomings of the Monarch Investment Group and "Executive" Towers. Upon moving into the apartment during their "first month free rent" special, the apartment was not move in ready as promised. The carpet in the bedroom was stained around where a bed used to be, there was no hot water in the bathroom sink, the lightbulb above the stove was out and (the biggest problem) the bathtub would not properly drain. I had to stand in dirty water to take a shower. This drainage problem spanned for a period of weeks, with 2 unsuccessful maitenance attempts before it was actually fixed. As if providing a month's free rent excuses pure incompetence! The community room had worn out furniture, which was eventually replaced. Another problem, which is not apparent when initially viewing the property as prospective tenants enter the building from the front lot, is that there is very minimal pavement in the back lot (where the majority of the tenant parking is located) that is intact-it is filled with massive potholes-some of which measure 2.5 feet long. During my one year of residency rumors of this issue being addressed with an actual notice of its impending repair was posted in the elevator. However, the hopes of these repairs occurring quickly diminished as a subsequent notice notifying tenants that no such repairs would take place. Then there is the laundry room, which constantly smelled akin to raw sewage with a vending machine that had a snippy notice on it placed by property management that it would no longer produce change. There was a two to three week period during which the community room was closed due to a BED BUG INFESTATION. There was a tenant on the lower level that left water running, emphasizing an unaddressed plumbing issue that caused the majority of the ceiling in the lobby to collapse and intolerable odors of mold to permeate the entryway that were resolved two weeks later. There are water leakage issues throughout the building, with water damaged walls on the Penthouse level. There are numerous issues of vandalism in the area, and my car tire was slashed in the rear tenant parking lot towards the beginning of my lease-causing me to miss work. Yet another problem were the "included services" of heating and air conditioning, which never properly functioned causing several tenants to threaten rent escrow. The building is far from sound proof, as arguments from the street level and other tenants interrupted my sleep quite frequently-causing me to call the police on over a dozen occasions, I would hear shopping carts rattling through my hallway at 3am almost every other night, the tenant above me's insanely loud wake up alarm at 4am, and the tenants on the 12 floor's parties and loud music-which caused me to call the police on a few more occasions. Then, there was the banging sounds from garbage collection in the front lot at about 4:20am every week. Every now and then a tenant would cause the fire alarms to go off throughout the entire building, waking everyone up and summoning emergency personnel that made the alarms cease roughly 30 minutes later. The condo that I am currently staying at charges $5 for a replacement laundry card, whereas the "Executive" Towers among other inflated penalties and fees charges $25 per replacement card issued.
I purchased a new car towards the end of my tenancy and while I had it parked in the front lot, someone committed a hit and run with damage estimates around $700.
So, needless to say you're better off not living here or paying these inflated prices! Included by "Executive" Towers definition is synonymous with HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC! Beware of Monarch.

This company is the absolute worst. They do not even care whatsoever in regards to their patrons that rent from them. They're maintenance just goes about knocking on everybody's door just to get into an apartment. That is very alarming. What is the point of that? Maintenance should have master keys to all apartments. There should be no reason for them knocking and bothering tenants to try and get into another apartment. That is ridiculous. What a shame and what a terrible company never ever rent from anybody here at this company. Save your money and rent somewhere that actually cares about their tenants and takes pride in their properties

If I could do a lower score I absolutely would this is one of the greediest companies I have come across. Even with everything going on in the world they are doing nothing to support their tenants other then giving them a list of places that are still hiring and a list of rental assistance programs that you can't even get ahold of with a payment plan of 50% rent up front and the rest at the end of the month with not price reduction or anything in the way of actual help. Very disappointed in this company.

Monarch is an excellent company that is constantly improving. They treat their employees very well and care about the properties they manage and the residents that live there. Unfortunately, there is a self-selection of a few unhappy residents from various properties that write reviews of the company as a whole. My experience at Monarch over the last 5 years has been the most rewarding of my professional life.

This company has zero customer service. Seriously ...

This company has zero customer service. Seriously consider the negative reviews. Monarch mid-management said that I would be in "legal peril" if I kept leaving bad reviews about Seasons on Chelsea; it was the response to me when disputing move-out charges.

Two maint techs left in the year that we lived here & they were constantly short staffed in maint. When maint did repairs, they were rarely finished the first time (even when it was simple request). We had leaks, water damage/water shutoff's, roaches from neighbors, broken freezer & various cosmetic maintenance issues within 12 month lease.

We were served an eviction notice for a small balance that was due; even though they accepted full rent from us. While they knew better than to file eviction, it felt like the office had no sense of urgency for upkeep of the community & our apartment. However, they are quick to follow the payment policy & charge late fees/move-out fees.

At move out, they charged $520 in cleaning/damages. The following charges were applied to our account: $100 painting; $25 garbage removal; $100 carpet clean (carpet in only two bedrooms); $195 cleaning fee; $100 damages (mini-blind replacement & 4 vertical blinds). We did not clean the oven, change the drip pans, clean fridge & left 12 pack of drinks, 4-5 frozen vegetables & container of light bulbs in the kitchen. We also did not clean the master shower because it was dirty when lease was originally signed. There were no scratches on walls & only one small nail in kitchen for a calendar we had. These charges were assessed based on an addendum signed that says the charges are applied when the apartment is left beyond normal wear & tear. We did not leave a disgusting apartment.

It's my belief the company profits from the move-out charges & does not pay current employees or outside contractors the amount that is charged to resident. The company would not provide invoices or provide access to make sure the cleaning & repairs were completed. There is an addendum in lease with rates of what they charge for damage or cleaning beyond normal wear & tear. They deem any cleaning as beyond normal wear & tear and excessively charge former residents.

This is the best company I have ever worked for. If you are a hard worker who can show up and follow directions you will do well here. If you are a clock watcher, don't like to show up, or don't want to work hard then don't even bother applying because you will not last long here.

This is by far the most challenging and most rewarding job I have ever had but I have worked very hard to prove myself worthy to work for this amazing company. The culture and dedication to staff, investors, and residents is inspiring.

I am never leaving this company, Monarch is the Best!!!

Monarch Investment is an amazing company to work with. I work for The Home Depot and we have had a program in place with Monarch for nearly five years. They believe in true partnership with their suppliers. As we work hard for them they also show commitment to The Home Depot as a supplier. As I visit their properties, I hear nothing but how amazing Monarch is to work for; their employees are very happy working for Monarch. It is a pleasure to work with a company that has a family "feel," values their residents, employees and their supplier partners.

I started living at a Monarch owned property (Hampton at Coral Ridge) about 3.5 years ago and my experience from the beginning has been GREAT! Our apartment was spacious and clean, the onsite staff was friendly and always helpful when we needed something. The property (just like many Monarch owned properties) is EXTREMELY pet friendly (something that is hard to find in our area). The property and grounds are well maintained and taken care of.
About 2 years into living on the property a position came open for a leasing agent in the office and I decided to apply for the position. I got the job and was able to see all the behind the scenes operations of the company. Not only do they treat their residents on their properties amazing but their staff as well.
My husband and I have absolutely loved renting an apartment from a Monarch owned property. If it wasn't for recently investing in a house we would still be renting from Monarch.

I have read these reviews and we all have similar ...

I have read these reviews and we all have similar issues. Monarch bought Rolling Pines in Grand Rapids, MI 2 years ago. Me and my family are in our 10th year living here. The previous owners lied to us when they said Monarch was going to bring positive changes to our community, in spite of us believing them. This property is 50ish years old with much original fixtures, appliances, hardware, cabinets, doors, windows. We were told Monarch would be bringing updates to our interior and exterior. This was so not the case and quite the opposite. Instead of positive it became much worse..the grounds around here have always been well kept and maintained by an outside company. They got rid of them and hired a cheaper company that does a horrible job, damaging our patio property and our property looks ghetto. Got rid of sprinkler company and has maint man do it, our grass literally died, crispy brown in June when it is usually the greenest. I could go on and on because we have so many unresolved issues and it keeps getting worse. The absolute worse thing that has happened to Rolling Pines is the manager Cara. I have had a few encounters with her and from the beginning she is rude, disrespectful to residents, staff and vendors. In 2 years I have never seen her out in the community, ever! She is a paper pusher with absolutely no people skills and disliked by our WHOLE community. We don't deserve to be treated the way she treats everyone! She has put our community at safety risk for other animals and kids and adults, by allowing "aggressive breeds" in here..those are their words. There is a boxer that has 5 animal control reports of being an aggresive dog, has attacked other residents animals while the owner had on leash, one resident 3 times..and nothing is done.Cara is liable along with Monarch and we are seeking legal advice which could possibly involve a lawsuit filed against Cara/Monarch. We have a paper trail a mile long. Have made calls to regional mgr and corporate and they do not aknowledge or return calls. So don't call the number they say..it's a waste of time. Call your local tenant rights assoc, County courthouse or legal aid in your area, they can advise and help for free. The only thing Investment corporations care about is money, it's the only language they speak.

Palo Duro Place apartments resident. I moved in and found out that the manager is one of those busy uninterested types that not only does not listen but is very pushy for you to be done. She acts like her complex os so perfect but I got news for her, it has the reputation of being among the worst places to live and boy does it live up to its rep. The neighbors are loud, the tubs have rust, there are roaches, there are always people sitting in their cars watching residents leave so you are afraid of leaving because they might break in. Lots of crime in this area what with cars getting broken into and apartments and there is no security. I have to say that they are also money hungry and that is all that they care about. If neighbors are loud or any other complaints you might have, they do not care but if you dont pay them, they will kick you out immediately. Forget this place that treats its residents that way. Go somewhere else.

Where do I start?

Where do I start?

On May 7th, 2018 I stopped by the office to see if I could get my keys as I d like to start moving in on the 8th (my scheduled move in date). I was told my apartment hadn t been cleaned yet.

May 8th, 2018 I arrived to get my keys and start moving in. Upon opening the door, I was greeted with wet smoke smell. The carpets were still wet and stained, the small bedroom stunk so bad of smoke and dirty carpet.

There was food crumbs and remains in the cabinets. The AC had a 1/4 inch of smoke juice and fuzz on the entire front.

The bathtub was disgusting.

The window screen is still torn and has weird crop circles designs on it.

The top of the fridge had 1/2 an inch of filth.

Let s move onto the Manager...she s been nothing but rude...most recently 30 minutes before I wrote this, yelling at me when I tried to tell her about the registered sex offenders that were living in the building, the hypodermic needle a child stepped on at the playground, the dude that was arrested for methamphetamines and to inquire about the policies of this dump.

She began yelling at me about her work load and how busy she is. I finally had to ask for Monarchs Corporate number.

I left the office shaking and actually fearful for my safety from the MANAGER due to her aggressive demeanor.

I ve heard twice now that a higher up would be in contact with me...we ll see.

This company is horrible. I applied for an apartment on May 11, 2019 after finding out that your evictions had to be 5 yrs old I canceled my application the same day. I was told I would get my deposit money back but not the application money within 30 days. It is June 29th 2019 and I still have not received my money back. I contacted Oak Park in Spanish Lake MO several times and have gotten the run around. They gave me an email address and I sent numerous emails and no response. I asked for a phone number to the corporate office/management company I was told they didn t have a number. I found the number and have called multiple times left multiple messages and no one has called me back. I m to the point I will be making an complaint to the BBB. This is very unprofessional. I feel like they are running scams to get money.

My apartment keeps on flooding messing up my things, sink back up an over flows when the above apartments clogs drain, leaving all THEIR Food in MY sink. I called management nobody cares... nobody returns calls... I m paying 860 to be in apartment that keeps flooding messing up my belongings. On top of that a note was left on the ground outside my apartment on the 16th sayin I owe 30 by the 18th an if I didn t pay I would owe 150 fee, when i paid everything in full until the end of the year. It took them two days to come with 3 different bogus answers...DO NOT Move into sugar pines apartments

Absolutely the worst place i have ever lived. My apartments are always changing managers and I have had the same issue with my online payments since the first year of living here. If the location wasn't as good as it is i would move.... now I'm willing to make the sacrifice and move. As long as I don't have to tolerate any more unprofessionalism.

It s been nothing but unpleasantness since they have taken over our apartment complex Arbor pointe in Fairfield, from the ladies in the office to the bs billing of rent. Started off by forcing us to resign a new lease. stating if we didn t signed it 3 months early they won t charge us the standard rent rate but some how we. We didn t even have a chance to find another place of living. We haven t had our filters changed in our apartment since signing the lease our filter was dirt brown went to the office they change they had nobody to change it then gave my wife a new filter and told her to change it. Rent went up a large amount but why nothing has changed with the complex everything looks the same and still slow fixes. Then another problem comes we haven t been late on so we ended up having a bank issue where it kept kicking back payments when we paid online so the ladies in the office didn t care they charge us 100 for late plus 60 for the money being returned, then stopped us from paying on line. So now we come to this month in June we have been on vacation. Wasn t coming back until the 7th. Tried to pay rent, nope wouldn t let us , so we said ok now we are going to have a 100 late fee like last month. Chucked it up as a lost. But then we go to pay it s now 125 more. Nothing is consistent with them one month it s this then the next it changes to something.. we have light poles know down sitting in apartments yard , dead birds on walking of apartment for 3 days before some moved it. And the expect 879 for a tiny 2 bedroom, no way this bogus. Been living year for 2 years and things have gotten bad. Not satisfied very angry and ready to break lease. And another thing Complained about is every time water is used of any body above us or water that we are using it send a loud noise throughout our apartment until water gets cut off but we supposed to pay $879 for that. I don t like complaining because life is life but this is ridiculous

The office manager at Chelsea Park was very helpful and knowledgeable of the property. She was down to earth but professional. The apartments were really nice and even though we choosing not to move there because of our big family I would definitely recommend checking them out.

They own my apt in KY, Seasons on Chelsea. Do Not Rent from them. From Colorado, they decided that the noise (squeaking, creaking every time they walk)from upstairs after tenant flooded bathroom that leaked into mine wasn't excessive. Raw sewage leaking, 1st month from downstairs apt. Tenant moved out because of this. Missing door handle outside and inside (still missing) from 1st day, glass sliding doors broken, did not meet the frame. let in bugs and let air/heat out. It took 3 months to fix that. Monarch Investments does not care about you or your living situation. When my lease is up, I will come back and corroborate the new tenant's complaint, the noise from upstairs through the floor is excessive. Maybe if they get sued, they will fix it? These apartments are over priced and they charge community utility fees above the rent and you still pay for your own electric. Totally substandard.

Run! Believe the reviews. Do not rent any Monarch Investment property in any city under any circumstance. I've rented at River Chase Apartments and Townhomes in St.Louis, MO for reasons I won't go into, but all of the negative reviews I've read here, almost mirror my own experiences. I have filed two complaints with the BBB ( River Chase in St .louis has an F) only to realize they could care less.
If you must rent one of their neglected properties might I suggest taking a few classes in heating and cooling, landscaping, electrical and plumbing, because if you want it fixed... you'll need those classes.

One star is even too high for them. I'm guessing that they just like to accept people's money and not fix anything. I lived in the apartments in Lawton,OK and nothing was ever fixed. They would have people come and "spray" but they would only walk in the kitchen and be done. I have several issues with my apartment such as bugs and mice. I decided that it would be best for me to break my lease because of how bad the apartment was. If you do not have to please don't rent from them.

I agree with all of the reviews on problems at their properties. I had high hopes of moving into mine and after only 3 months, I'm forced to file a lawsuit. I contacted corporate with all of my concerns and they basically did nothing for me. Even after all of my evidence they never got my apartment ready to move in. My daughter stays sick due to the roaches etc... and no one seems to care they hire these types of employees. That's unfortunate we still have big companies that treat people like they live in the projects and you pay rent and utilities. I'd never advise anyone to rent with them.
If anyone is interested in a news story that highlights this company for being slumlords throughout the country please email me.

HORRIBLE!!! service at Solano Springs in Tucson Az. For starters, the receptionist doesn t follow thru her work orders or refunds. I had to go and personally seek the maintenance guy to fix issues with my apartment and it took her three months for my renters insurance to be refund. I can honestly say that management was a strong reason why I move my family to another place. Extremely unprofessional unless if they want you to pay something. The only positive thing I can say is that issues with my apartment where fix on a timely manner. If you are thinking of renting at Solano Springs, think again!! You might pay a little extra somewhere close by with much better service!!!

Being a seasoned industry professional with 40 years in the multifamily business, I spent a large part of my career near the mountains of Colorado, I have followed Monarch for many years. I will tell you I have had an industry crush on Monarch for at least two decades. A couple of the reasons Monarch has gained my attention is for their innovative and creative approach to the industry and the culture they have built within their teams of talented individuals. The positive vibe is palatable. Monarch people love what they do, from their residents, their communities and love for their company. This feeling is articulated throughout their brand and in my dealings with different aspects of their company, I have always witnessed a knowledgeable, professional and empathetic approach to all things . Monarch is a company to watch if you are looking to watch a company with a track record of success.

I would NOT recommend to rent from Georgetown Ap...

I would NOT recommend to rent from Georgetown Apartments! The staff there, especially the manager "Brenda Nort" is so unprofessional and rude. I've been there for 4 years and Monarch took over 2 years ago and hired new staff. Brenda Nort needs to be fired. I've been in customer service over 30 years and she is incompetent to perform the job. I will be writing a letter to the Better Business Bureau. This company harasses you to sign a lease 4 months prior to your lease expiring. I had a storage unit which was included with my lease when I first moved in 4 years ago. Well I get an email, not a phone call saying they are taking my storage away in the month of December. We all know December is a busy month. So I didn't see it until I received a letter on my door....again not a phone call...a letter saying they were going to throw my stuff out if I didn't get out by the end of the month. I'm 51, single and I work 10 hour shifts. Brenda had no sympathy at all!! First of all , Brenda should of informed me about the storage before I signed my lease, I won't have moved out to a place that had storage. No one gave me that option. All they cared about was getting that lease signed. So now I have to get a lawyer! They won't even adjust my rent either. If your late with your rent,, they shut down the website so you cannot pay your rent or your fees ! So then your late again....so take my advice! Don't move into Georgetown Apartments!

Working for Monarch Investment has been one of the best experiences of my life. From the daily mentors to the ones I can email or call in Colorado, this by far has been the best company to work for. They wont fix the porches that are falling apart. They were asked to have steps installed in the pool and they sent forms asking why they are needed and who is disabled, Then they add in a notice that I have to pay for it to be done!!!! The apartment was rented out before it was inspected. Paint was sloppy, large hump in middle of floor they just carpeted over, Bedroom doors stuck when closed. Vents painted open so you can't close them, The Kitchen??? Where to start the cabinets are as old as the complex if not older. Oh so much more to list but I wont. It's not worth 990.00 a month with our increase but can't afford to move :(

I started working with Monarch Investment and Management group as a Temp leasing agent to help out for the holiday season about 1 year ago. I quickly learned what a great company Monarch really is. I was very soon hired as a permanent leasing agent with the opportunity to advance very quickly. With in a couple months I was given the opportunity to transfer to an out of state property as an Assistant Property Manager. After about 8 months my parents started to have health issues that required me to move back to my home state. Monarch was very helpful in finding me a position that was close to home and not only that but I am now proudly the Property Manager at a very beautiful community. Monarch is by far the best company that I have ever had the pleasure of working for. They really care about their properties, residents and employees. They are like a really big family, I'm Team Monarch all the way!!!

I am a current resident of Grandridge in Omaha. Your property management and maintenance are a joke. I've had issues for my air conditioning for months. We have told them several times that something is wrong with it. The air flow is awful. They've insulted me by basically writing me off like I'm a stupid woman. I live on the third floor. We have fans in every room, the blinds are always closed and it's still always hot in our apartment. I pay $834 to live here. I should be able to have working air conditioning. I also have been complaining about the awful egg smell in my apartment. It comes and goes. They told me that there is nothing they can do since when they are there it doesn't smell. My apartment has smelled awful for over a month. I have a 6 year old and a newborn. This is not good living conditions for then. We have made several complaints and no one is fixing them. We don't have the amenities that were agreed upon when I signed my lease. We are a small quiet family. We deserve to live in a place that has air and doesn't smell like rotten eggs. We have been lied too, jerked around and had our maintenance requests canceled. We are tired of the disrespect from the employees at the office as well as the maintenance!

I have worked for Monarch for a little over 4 years now and hands down, the BEST property management company around! Their vision and mission is what sets them apart. You are treated with respect. Everyone matters, you are a part of a team, a team that wants to see you succeed. Your team listens, they care, they are respectful, and professional. If you are looking for a company to grow with, Monarchs that company. You ll never want to leave because all anyone ever wants is what I listed above.

Mold will make you very sick if it s not properly ...

Mold will make you very sick if it s not properly taken care of. These people DO NOT CARE. We lived here for just a few months when we discovered that this apartment has a MAJOR mold problem. We told them about it and they came in and sprayed a little bleach on it and left. It came back only a day later because you cannot kill mold with bleach. Just ask the EPA. Since then, we decided to not pay our rent until this was fixed. At the court hearing, they declined my offer to pay them for the rent we owed in exchange for taking care of the mold issue and said that they already have the unit rented to someone else. They offered to drop the eviction if we moved out. So we did. Now a month later, the eviction is still open and is keeping us from renting another place. I have more than enough money, but my family and I are still homeless until they do what they agreed to do and dismiss the eviction. Do not rent from these people. They are extremely overpriced and ran by slum lords. $1100 a month and 3 of the 5 members of my family are still getting over the sicknesses caused by mold, mildew, and excessive moisture. See my photos.

Old Farm Shores DO NOT LIVE HERE

Old Farm Shores DO NOT LIVE HERE
I have now lived here for 3 months and have had nothing but trouble. When I first moved in my balcony was so unsteady that when you stepped out on it the whole thing would rock back and forth. Maintenance came and said they would look into seeing what they could do to stabilize. Heard nothing back so I reached back out and office management came and told me it was fine (even though it was clearly unstable and maintenance agreed it needed to be fixed). Only after threatening to call the city was it fixed.
The A/C would not get below 78, just continuously ran for 3 straight days until maintenance came and said it's just as good as those units will do. Told me to keep my blinds shut and close some vents so the other vents would blow harder. Fixed nothing. I gave up and bought a portable unit because it was cheaper and more effective to run than the central air.
Buzzer to get in corroded and would not work. Maintenance said all the buzzers here are like that because their old. Fixed nothing.
Hot water heater leaked and drained right into the apartment below us. Got a new one but it goes to show how old and un-kept all their appliances are.
Then my boyfriends car (who is on the lease and lives here) is broken into. They told him over the phone that it was on him for leaving it unlocked. Come to find out they told the same thing to another individual who had their car broken into the same night. They will do nothing to make the community aware of this because they do not want the bad image.
All of this is on top the units just being very poorly kept, no upkeep on parking lot, dead branches all over car ports, pool shut down because it was unsafe, whole summer with the outdoor kitchen out of commission, carpets full of stains, plaster cracking all over the ceilings and window frames. The office will give you whatever company line they are told and do not care about anything else.
Do not believe the pictures. They do not deserve your money. Cannot wait until my lease is up so I can finally feel safe again.

Update: 12/13/2018
We are now told to keep our faucets on a constant drip because the pipes are so poorly insulated they will freeze otherwise.
I have also spoken with 2 other residents/former residents who had poor reviews posted. They were removed as THE COMPANY REFUSED TO WAIVE FEES AND THREATENED LEGAL ACTION UNTIL THE REVIEWS WERE REMOVED.

I am a summer leasing consultant with Castle Pointe this year. Monarch is an AMAZING company to work with. They truly care about all their employees and set up several company gatherings (i.e. annual fish fry and golf outting). Also, there are several little gifts we get in the office. If you are offered a position with in this company, take it! It will be the best decision you have ever made!

In the wake of the recent fire which occurred @ their Timber Ridge location, I wish to express my gratitude to Matt Insing & Stephen (from their Colorado office). Had it not been for their commitment & professionalism, this would otherwise had been an entirely different review. Matt & Stephen came to the rescue and put Residents needs before their own, by assisting me in providing emergency services to several of their Residents (after hours & during the weekend following the tragic fire that occurred). Prior to these Gentlemen becoming involved, an entirely different agenda was being served, which would had come with disastrous results to Monarchs reputation, at the hands of a singular (on site) office staff Member (female), Who's attitude & demeanor was nothing less than deplorable. I withheld her name intentionally, as nothing worthwhile would be served by calling her out publicly (by name), for her misrepresentations of facts & general lack of concern for Timber Ridge Residents & Monarch's obviously higher standards than those exhibited by this ONE employee, who caused so much disarray & unnecessary anguish to everyone involved.

I will keep this short and sweet as possible. I have taken 2 pictures and yes these were taken 5 minutes ago. I have had plumbing issues since arriving here at Sherwood Forest Apts in Iowa. Maintenance has been in more times than I can count for just this one issue. He did tell me that this was going to keep happening because he cant snake the drain due to the position of the piping. And also the plumbing is still the original from 1971. 45 yrs later its still here. The fixtures in the apt are also that old. That cabinets are super outdated. The 2nd picture I've uploaded is that of underneath the kitchen sink. The shelf has collapsed and had water damage and what looks to be mold. These issues has been brought up to management continuously and nothing has been done. It's almost like they're just here to collect a check. I even brought to their attention a very muddy area behind our building in which walking the dogs my Mom slipped and fell. And what was I told? To tell her not to go over there cause they arent laying anything down cause they want the grass to grow. So grass is more important than my Mothers safety? Theres so much wrong with this place if they were going to really invest they would have. People are constantly moving in and out. Theres no problem raising the rent but dont you dare ask for anything to be fixed and your rent better be on time. This place is a sad joke and by far the WORST place to rent from. My Mom is a Dialysis Patient and the fact that we cant even take a shower without standing in dirty water and unsanitary and sounds very much like a health department issue. Just sell the property to people who care. People are trying to live here.
