Impossible to get an MLD rep on the phone. You have to go through an answering service who then "passes" the message to the company. You can leave as many messages as possible and no one will call you back !
I doubt these 5 star reviews are even real customers.
They missed my first closing date. They promised lender paids that were not given. Communication was horrible. Getting information from anybody was like pulling teeth.
The lady Joanna was very helpful and getting back to me on my mortgage. She took my information other the phone and said she call back that afternoon to let me know if I could refinance my mortgage. She was very helpful and said she could help I would be saving about 150.00 dollars a month for a lower payment. She explained the hole payment and what I needed to have when the lady came to sign first set of paper work to sign and notearaise.
Once they went over my paper work that I had to sign. Every thing passed so set up one more signing of content MY rate drop down. They paid off my old mortgage they gave me one month free my payment lower down and rate went down too. I pay my first payment on May1 2020. I She was very kind plight and hopefull and sweet and help full person.

I was told that my rate was locked when we first found the house but just before closing we learned that our rate wasn't locked and we had to end up agreeing to pay %0.5 more. Never relay on phone confirmations i strongly suggest to make everything written

Great Company our loan officer was great and persistent in a good way. Had a great nerve wrecking experience with the rest of the MLD family but they were all good to us and helped a lot. This company is completely BS. They linger on our re mortgage for more than six months and then withdraw because they have no answers for our questions. They keep asking of our paychecks every other week and you can imagine how many for 6 months.They are very uncooperative and seems like tired of their job. People strictly non recommended if you really love your time. Because time is everything and these people doesn't know the value.
Jay Kunkle made refinancing a breeze. He gave us lots of options that were easy to understand and supported the choice that worked best for us. Claire in his office helped with making sure that all of our i's were dotted and t's were crossed so that our loan would close timely. This is the second time that we've worked with Jay, my co-worker referred him to us after a catastrophic experience with a different lender. I would recommend him to anyone looking to secure a mortgage loan or refinance an existing one.
Ashley Banks from MLD did a great job in communicating, and also my many questions. There is a lot of garbage refinancing out there where mortgage lenders just take your equity so you can restart the clock and pay $50 less.
I got a streamline mortgage through MLD, did not lose equity (considering two months no mortgage payment), pay more principal off with the new terms from getgo and save $250 in interest right off the bat. My P&I reduced from 1060 to 816. No closing costs to me.

I can't be more happier with this transaction. Initially we were going through our local credit union that supposably is reputable in real estate services. We've banked with them for years now and at the closing date, the credit union said the property we were persuing did not meet criteria. I am very satisfied with Kevin Zhu and his coworkers at MLD mortgage inc regarding their expertise and guidance along the process.
My parents were refinancing two properties with them. They kept losing documentation, so my parents would have to re-fax or email. A 30 day re-fi turned into a 90 fiasco. They fired there original agent and the new one said they couldn't honor the original rate and suggested they go somewhere else. They lost almost a $1000.00 in Appraisal fees because you can't reuse those appraisals with another company. Now they are just giving us the run around. I am filing a complaint with the New Jersey District Attorney. So be wise and use someone else. I sugest someone based in your local area. P.S. we were already in the 3rd month when strom Sany hit, so that is not the reason!

My experience with MLD has been great. I have used their services multiple times for both refinancing as well as purchasing a new property. The staff has been ultra-helpful, they acted in a timely manner though there were so many people involved. each one knew what they are doing and helped me close in record time (within 30 days) at the end of summer when everyone is going on vacation.

I worked with Jenny Lola for almost an entire year because my original lender fell through. Our first call went well and she seemed nice and knowledgeable. When it came to our second call, where my wife and I could both be present, two hours went by, then the rest of the night because she didn't call us. When I asked what happened, I found out she was out celebrating her birthday. We rescheduled AGAIN, and after about half an hour ended up having to call her, which she seemed to thing was totally normal. In what universe does someone who schedules a call with you not take the initiative to call you first?
Sometimes months would go by before I would talk to Jenny again. She would ask for documents and I would send them, assuming she would then do something with them and follow up with me. Apparently this is not how it goes when you do business with Jenny.
Communication only became slightly better when I started CCing our realtor on all our correspondence. To give you an idea, we started working with Jenny in February of 2020 and she didn't send us a preapproval letter until around mid to late July, and this was a week later than she had promised it. Why? Because she was at the beach with her kids. As someone who has had her fair share of terrible customer service jobs, I am usually very accommodating and understanding when I am the customer. This time I was merciless, because once again, we saw how low of a priority we were to Jenny. Yet again, we had to push with the help of our realtor to get our preapproval . Only after our realtor presented a timeline for closing did Jenny suddenly begin to take more initiative on our loan.
Eventually we put in an offer that was accepted and began moving towards our closing date. This was my first time ever taking out a loan or buying a home, and I was told A MONTH FROM MY CLOSING, and many more months of frustration with Jenny and a vague understanding of the house buying process. The class would cover the process from start to finish, but was only given to me after a was making my way towards closing. I feel like this choice to give it me late was purposeful, manipulative, and all around poor planning. Nevertheless, I took it and learned as much as I could.
Each time Jenny would ask for documents, I would send them to her as promptly as possible, oftentimes from my phone because I was at work and it was my only link to all the documents I had on my computer at home. To try and get us all on the same page (something Jenny insisted she wanted to do, but never demonstrated), we requested a call with Jenny specifically at a time when my wife would have her one hour break at work. 45 minutes went by before Jenny finally called and I had to do the call by myself. It was during this call that I discovered that Jenny hadn't been receiving any of my documents for THREE WEEKS and just hadn't said anything. I wouldn't have figured this out if I had not told her I was sending them through my Google Drive. Not once during that time did Jenny follow up or alert me that there was a problem.
I also discovered that her file for me was grossly unorganized and YET AGAIN, I had to send her statements, pay stubs, and gift letters I had sent her many times before.
About a week before closing, we ran into a problem with some gift letters. After some frustration and emails back and forth, Jenny said that the processor was going to "remove all the docs from your file." It sounded like they were going to just delete everything I'd ever given them. I told her to clarify her ominous email, and she said they simply didn't need my gift letters anymore. Seriously???
I could go on, but Google Reviews has a character limit The main takeaway is Jenny does not see her clients as a priority, so I would strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere. I would have done it long before if we hadn't been so close to finally getting a house.

We personally had a bad experience with the Money store. In the beginning everything is great and you only need to deal with one person on a day to day basis. After you are actually committed and start the process, game over. We had a new person contacting us all the time for documents that we had already sent multiple times. It made everything super confusing and honestly felt like I had no idea what was going on. In the end we got a great percentage on our mortgage and were able to refinance but the process was dragged out and annoying with the daily emails and calls during work hours.
If I could give no stars I would this company does not return phone calls. When you call them you get a answering service who then forwards your info to the company to have them call you back. I have left 5 messages and emailed this company and no one has got back to me. Also no one in the call center knows the fax # ?!?!?! I don't know how they could run a business like this. Very unprofessional I have no idea how anyone even can get ahold of someone to get a loan or would want to with the lack of service they provide.

We worked with MLD Mortgage and worked with June and Xin's team. Not only were the rates and closing costs were very competitive, but the communication was polite, quick and clear. We had a very short window to close and they made sure that everything worked our smoothly for us. We did not even have a 5-minute delay on a response to a question that we asked. The team responded to our questions day and night (yes -- I did not expect that!). I have never had this experience with any other lenders. We were treated as a top priority. We also noticed that the disclosures were clear, transparent, and easy to understand and documents were detailed. We couldn't have asked for a better lender/loan officers than June and Xin's amazing team! We are thankful to a friend who referred us to them who had the same amazing experience as us.

- As a first time home buyer, I had many questions about what was needed for mortgage loans and about next steps. The loan officer Kevin Zhu was MIA and didn't answer my questions about the process (My friend used him and his team and said it was fine so take this review as you will)
- I as the client was constantly asking the team what they need because they kept sending me multiple emails about one thing they need here and there and my closing date was coming up! I wanted to know what was left to complete and it made me nervous and for good reason...
ON MY CLOSING DAY..THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE MY CLOSING DOCUMENTS.
I thought it odd that I was expected at the closing table in 45 mins and still didn't receive any CD. When I called them, the closing team said they were still waiting on info from the lender (that's another story). This was on a Monday and they haven't spoken to the lender since last Thursday, when they EMAILED THEM. When I asked if they've called since, the woman asked if i wanted the number to call them to check on things... maybe my expectations are too high but this is completely unacceptable..
This team knew for an entire month what the closing date was and didn't communicate at all about what was going on nor make an effort to make sure everything was completed for my closing date.
When the team finally got it together after MY lead and my attorneys, the CD I received had my name misspelled, the incorrect address and the incorrect taxes! Ridiculous.. they put my taxes as like $25K for a small condo.
All in all, I felt that the team didn't give a damn about me as a client and made my first time homebuying experience extremely difficult. They lacked initiative, communication, and attention to detail.
This by far is the best place to get a home loan. Jonathan Langer was my loan officer and he was the best hands down. He was always there to answer my questions and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question which I probably was.. He was so helpful and helped me every step of the way. Him alone needs 10 stars because that s how awesome he is. Getting a home loan is very stressful but having him as a loan officer ease the stress a lot!!! Thanks Jonathan and your team for making my home buying purchase a success!!!!
The mortgage agent and the closing specialist were professional and understood the needs of closing the mortgage well. Tough the closing took time due to the backlog, both of them worked closely with underwriting and us to close the loan before year end.

Very small ReFi, $213K 15Yr, got a very good rate, took a long time for a variety of factors, one in particular that was not in Lenders control at all. Lender stayed after it and with a change in the approach that I was able to take, we ultimately closed the Loan.
