An elegant old style restaurant with a modern flair in the cuisine, the Old Bridge Hotel restaurant reminds you more of an old-fashioned club than part of a hotel.

Very excellent food, from traditional to modern takes on old favourites makes you want to visit again to try more. Recommended.

Really lovely hotel with lots of character. Restaurant was given facelift in 2016 and is much better for it. Was here for a one day cause, the facilities for which were very good. Had a bar snack for lunch which was excellent

Great food with a lot of seating options. You can sit indoors on comfy chairs, down in the pub near the fireplace on couches, in the main restaurant, or outside. Also has a very large wine selection.

Once again a wonderful family meal at The Old Bridge. The experience is always superb from start to finish; right from the bar to the restaurant. The food is always impeccable and for the staff, everybody ensures your evening goes perfectly.

Had not been to the Bridge for a while and decided to treat ourselves on a sunny Friday. Lovely wine and beer, but both our meals were disappointing. I chose the fishcakes, thinking they would have done something original, but they were dry and tasteless. My husband's guinea fowl was again rather dull. This didn't ruin our evening, but we did expect more.

Visited for an afternoon tea & had a lovely time. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were friendly & attentive. The afternoon tea was fabulous, the scones were genuinely the best I've ever had! You could taste the freshly made difference. Finished the visit with a visit to the impressive wine shop.

Have eaten here many times. Always excellent service from well trained staff and good food and wine. If you are staying then the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Nice to have a bidet in a British hotel.
And then there's the wine shop....

Popped in for a fireside coffee one morning. Very helpful, cheerful staff and cosy atmosphere on a cold day. I hear the food's good though I haven't tried it and the outside terraced area looks lovely, at a warmer time of year. I'll be revisiting.

We had Sunday lunch at The Old Bridge and it was fantastic, there were 6 of us ranging from the very young to the very 'experienced' in life and they catered for us all incredibly well. The service was great, with a smile and some humour and the food was fault less. Admittedly not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Had a lunch here after a meeting. The pub had a lovely atmosphere: families and friends enjoying lunch and plenty of space for everyone. The staff were friendly and the food was good. It was well decorated and I could easily spend an afternoon or evening with friends working through a few beers. A really nice place.

Service was quick and personable. The bar area is well appointed and has a nice ambience with low lighting and comfy leather chairs. I was here with an old work colleague and it's quiet enough to have a discussion but still has atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced for the establishment as it is one of the nicer venues in town. Not a massive amount of selection however as the bar is not large.

The Old Bridge is just excellent. You can tell that it's owners are hands on. We had coffee and cake. The cake portion was generous and the coffee superb. Service was great and the staff even wrapped items we couldn't manage to finish.
