Mike Murphy Ford employees displayed the best customer service at a car dealership that I have ever experienced. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer through Jimmy Howard. I highly recommend asking for Jimmy when you go in for a purchase. He was respectful, not pushy at all like some dealerships and salesmen can be, and was very straight-forward with no running around. We traded in a vehicle and got a fair value (the KBB and NADA guides recommended values) the first time around. Jimmy was efficient and was able to get us into our new vehicle quicker than I ever had in the past at other dealerships. In the past, I have purchased vehicles at Finish Line Ford in Peoria (Now Green Ford) and I have shopped around at every other Peoria Ford dealership. Finish Line Ford was absolutely terrible in every way, and the other dealerships offered very poor customer service.
Unfortunately for us, as luck goes, we had an issue within a week of purchasing the vehicle (not a Ford issue, it was a problem with a tire). Again, the customer service through the service department was well above my expectations. The issue with our tire took several attempts and trips to the service department to figure out, but Brad Barker, Mitch Urbanc, Kevin Neill, Pete Katus, and even Jimmy Howard were all very helpful, professional and great to deal with. They made the issue right and made the situation completely stress free. Thanks again to the Mike Murphy team for making this transaction one of the better ones I have experienced.
