I really want to soak in the pool all~day~long~

Enjoyed the whole stay. No hassles. All staff from front office to cleaners were all friendly and helpful. They even smiled.

Rooms lovely, clean standard size. Breakfast busy but lovely - staff were kept running. Friendly staff.

Make sure you keep an eye on your bank statement if you stay here. I was charged twice for the same stay by reception and left out of pocket while waiting for a refund after I brought it to their attention. Otherwise the resort is OK.

Was a great holiday destination, servise was amazing, breakfast was amazing they spared no expense to make your day the best

Service was fine but they didn't have enough parking spots in the underground parking so on a rainy day, it's a bit of a pain.

Clean towels wet, breakfast and room service overpriced and cold, room smelt open door for fresh air to be greeted by 2nd hand cigarette smoke, no carparking had to park on the street. Unhappy will not be back

The environment is quiet, but there is no elevator to the room floor.

The staff and room were of a good standard however the breakfast was cold

Stayed with the Mecure Gold Coast for a conference, the staff were more than willing to help were they could. Could highly recommend the Mecure Gold Coast and will be more than likely staying there in the future.

the room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised by the spa bath in the room (3111)
we were also lucky to have a special offer on the breakfast because it was extremely average and the coffee machine was revolting, the nescafe blend in the room was preferable bit really you could upgrade this feature.
staff were extremely pleasant and hard working.

Fantastic price for a very clean and comfortable room. Beautiful blue swimming pools. The staff at the front desk were so friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Very dark walking down to room lighting was very inadequate.
No lift to first floor no mention on website either when booking
Room furniture very dated and well worn
Bedside cabinets table and bench top varnish worn way and not nice water marks and grubby
Bed was clean and comfortable.
Bathroom was clean but very dated.
Glad we were only staying for one night.
Buffet area needs a major revamp. Did not flow well and fare was average no options for fresh omelettes poached or fried egg. Only offering watery scrambled or hard boiled eggs
Toasters slower than a dinasaur and probably as just as old

On arrival male receptionist was great. (he too unfortunately disappoints later on)., from there on in very disappointing. At night the two rooms beside us had bridesmaids for a wedding and they were up till 2am laughing, banging doors and running between rooms. Then we had x2 free drinks and woman on bar ignored us and spoke gruffly to young male staff member then she finally served us with attitude. On looking at my bank account instead of $100 security being held Mercure has debited me over $220 which apparently on calling is an accommodation charge! We had paid before arriving at hotel!!

At 5 o'clock in the morning, Chinese tourists checked out in the hallway for half an hour and did not let people sleep. Never thinking about the actions of others will keep others away.

The room was new and clean and the water pressure was great. golf view is great. It would be better if the pool could be bigger, and there would be more crowded tourists.

Great hotel. A hidden oasis. We were there for a very short time but it was very clean and the rooms were well appointed but a little dated. Great facility. Should have brought the golf clubs!!

Rooms clean, good food, good facilities but the best part was housekeeping ..... made me a puppy of towels.

Great location. Issues with lack of car parking and bird poo on your roof. Vacation Club rooms OK, but nowhere to wash dishes or heat any food. Not well planned.

For a couple of Melbourne people this was an amazing get away for us. Fantastic service and great accommodation. Unfortunately the main pool and spa were out of action but these things happen. When we come back to the Gold Coast we will be staying here again! Hopefully soon this will be classed as a 5 star place! Thank you Mercure!

Due to the lack of time staying I can't write a fully true and unbiased review however, the rooms were exceptional, the food was of high standard, service was fast, room placement was great and the facilities were good.

Good value, relaxing position, friendly staff. Wi-Fi difficult to connect and not available in rooms.

We purchased our room accommodation via a third party website at a fantastic rate. Staff were very pleasant, room was clean. Pools were clean and kid friendly. Food however was horrible. In general I would highly recommend staying here but avoid restaurant at all cost!

We have just arrived home after staying 3 nights at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort and I could not speak more highly of our time there. The very nice gentleman who checked us in upon arrival bent over backwards to ensure we could stay in the same room for our stay. (I had booked the nights through different booking platforms). Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, clean and updated. All the staff that we met during our stay were very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. My children loved the rides around the resort on the golf carts. A very nice gentleman made us drinks at the bar on Friday night and organised for the kitchen to make us a pizza to eat in the lounge as I had just finished work and the kitchen had just stopped serving. Breakfast was amazing - so much to choose from. I really felt that the staff went out of their way to make sure the guests are happy and I was impressed to see that they were given the autonomy to make the decisions needed to make this happen. It seemed nothing was too much trouble. Whatever customer service training they are doing here, keep it up. I felt like the staff enjoyed their jobs and their workplace.
I travel a fair bit with my two young children and all too often we come across hotels and staff who compromise their customer service by being inflexible and unfriendly. Happy, friendly and helpful staff make all the difference to a hotel stay. Even the housekeeper left us a lovely note wishing us a wonderful stay. I wish i could remember certain names in particular to mention here. Anyway, we will definitely be back to stay with you again and I will make sure I recommend this hotel to everyone I know. Thanks again!!

We were not offered the buggie service to assist us to our room we had to first locate the room then walk to the farthest away building while one of us had a broken foot..

Very good, pleasant and helpful staff, clean and comfortable.

The only down side was the shower/bathroom. The switching from the bath tap to shower tap system was temperamental and annoying, even the bloke who come to help us with it had a few goes at it before it worked! No hot water the 3 times someone tried to shower, and no fan in the bathroom.

Not deal breakers by any means, but it did make the bathroom feel very old, and was a little annoying.

I booked a superior king and spa and the finishes in the room were quite poor considering how much you pay. I also got flowers and the quality was on par with what you get from Coles or Woolworths. Considering how much you pay for them I expected better quality roses.

Large sprawling hotel over several blocks overlooking the golf course. Service is good and rooms clean and well presented. Although a little old the maintenance has been kept up in the rooms. The bar and restuarant is convenient and nice place to relax if youre not wanting to drive to other options. The underground parking is spacious.

Restaurant is ordinary. Kids meals $16 and small. Meals expensive and not that great. Not going back, there is better value out there.

This was a fantastic hotel to stay in. It was very welcoming with excellent, well-maintained facilities for the entire family to enjoy. The staff were friendly and we appreciated the notes the house keepers left.

The only criticisms are that we had to pay an extra $150 for the security bond on the credit card. This left us with minimal holiday spending money as we were unaware of this cost. Other hotels hold $1 - $50, does the security bond have to be so high?

The second criticism was that the restaurant menu was lacking diversity and the room service menu appeared to have more inviting dishes. However, we didn't want to eat in our room for dinner. Would there be an option to choose from the room service menu whilst at the restaurant?

All in all, we had a great time and have recommended Mecure Gold Coast Resort to many of our friends and family already and will more than likely stay there again, keeping the price stays at a reasonable amount.

Comfortable and cosy. The staff are amazingly nice.

Very comfortable rooms and service is good, carpark ING is a worry with an infestation of swallow dropping their poo all over the cars in the underground carpark. Be prepared to fight for breakfast and watch out for tourists with horrible manners that are not checked by management. The breakfast offering however is fantastic, just avoid the utensils that tourists have licked

Wonderful place to stay, beautiful grounds. Staff very friendly. Room comfortable and great parking. Was a very short stay as we went to the Gold Coast marathon. But will be back in a few weeks for my partner's 30th!

Always friendly service clean facilities and yummy food

The bathroom is looking aged but overall I was happy with my accomodation. The breakfast was a bit disappointing with the lack of range offered for such a large resort. I have had better breakfast's at other Mercure hotels. I didn't go back for breakfast the next day @ $27 per head... not worth it. I would stay again.

I was only at the Mecure for the one night and unfortunately arrived late and left early the next morning.
Any staff that I dealt with during this time were very pleasant and helpful.
The room was great and very comfortable.

Rooms are basic and tired looking. Venue is out of the way, and far from the maddening crowd, which may be a plus or minus depending on your outlook.

I attended a wedding, staying overnight from Brisbane and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had both lunch and dinner in the restaurant which was very nice and would highly recommend it.

Fantastic service. The staff were professional and ensured I was well looked after. They tried to find a charger for my phone when I noticed that mine was missing (10pm) and arranged a meal. The gym is well stocked and the food/drinks were tasty and well priced.

Good experience, good rooms, nice pool, average service, carpsrk ages away from some majority of the rooms and car park was also very gloomy

Staff friendly breakfast lovely room service amazing

Got a room far away from main area and on level 3 (no lifts) which was already a big negative travelling with 2 small kids.
There were heaps of mosquitoes in the way to and from the rooms as well.
Asked about their buffet breakfast and it was $30+ pp which seems quite expensive.
To top it off, woke up at night noticing something crawling on the wall which we found to be an enormous cockroach.
Never again sorry!

It's a great hotel for families who would like to relax. Hotel is from urban hassle and located adjacent to a golf course with beautiful views. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Buffett breakfast has wide variety. But options don't change and if you are in for a longer stay, you would fed up with eating the same food for breakfast every day. Staff is friendly. The major downside is not having lifts and if your room is on level 2 of a block, you would end up carrying all your stuff and climbing stairs on a busy day.

Nice setting with personalized care. Good size standard room with a balcony. Bathroom provides full sets including toothbrush and paste which is rare in Australia. All the buildings sit among the golf course with nice views.

Lovely helpful service. Neat outside and in. Comfy king bed. I didn't like the bathroom, shower was in the bath. Handle set up was outdated and hard to figure out at first. USB plug next to bed didn't work.
Little weird set up with parking, it is a fare distance to your room, you need to walk. Or you can jump in a cart and get taken around. Which would have been easier for me. Pretty views.
A bit noisy with doors in other rooms closing, the toilet and shower could be heard next door early morning.
Food was average. Dinner; pizza needed more filling and was really soft crust. The chicken dish was not tasty, very plain, but nice veges. Chips were yummy.
Breakfast: Didn't get eaten as bacon was like rubber. Some was burnt. Sausages were ok. All meals were dine in room.

Great place to relax and enjoy the quite atmosphere of the surrounding golf course. Plenty of underground parking available and easy access to all facilities. Buffett breakfast was great also with very friendly staff all round. Location is a 10-15 minute drive into the city, so would recommend staying if you have a car, but would be more difficult accessing via public transport.

We hadn't stayed at the hotel before (or anywhere on the Gold Coast) and they offered a 12pm late checkout for us upon arrival which was amazing as we were down for a 21st! Everyone there greeted us so nicely, and the room was lovely. Special thanks to the assistant manager - I'm not sure what is name was sorry! - he was very kind and helpful and made us feel so welcome! Thank you very much :)

Clean and comfortable room, nice amenities, central location. Breakfast was busy but delicious.

Rooms are a little old but in excellent condition. Facilities and location are excellent.

Rooms were very clean and a good size and aircon was amazing but i have stayed at cheaper places and had free movies they were charging $15.95 for a movie that wasn't even a new release. The movies should have been free and there wasn't even a dvd player as an alternative to paying a ridiculous amount for a movie.

This is the 4th time my group has stayed at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort. Whilst our past visits have been fantastic, we always seem to feel that the most recent visit was the best. We find the rooms to be very comfortable and large enough that you don't feel cramped. The bar and restaurant are staffed by the most delightful wait staff who are professional and friendly at all times. Eating in the restaurant is a must do. Our order included 6 steaks done to varying standards from Medium Rare to Well Done. All the meals arrived at the same time and all of the steaks were perfectly cooked. The Chocolate Brownie desert cannot be missed. We also utilise the hotel transportation for ferrying to and from golf courses. The drivers are always on time, courteous and helpful. In summary, when we are planning a Gold Coast golf trip I don't waste time looking around, I just email or call the staff at the Mercure Gold Coast Resort and I know I will be looked after and my group will have a relaxing and enjoyable trip.

Went for breakfast after a balloon flight QT in surfers does a better spread hands down

Good, we weren't there for long, arrived about 11pm. No food and bar was closed. Night desk bought down a couple of beers but very limited selection.

Had a great stay in a well positioned room with a magnificent view of the pool.

Reception were very helpful and were keen to provide the best experience. Beautiful pool. Bring something to counteract the mossies. Cleaners left sweet farewell messages in our rooms. I had never experienced that before.

We enjoyed our room overlooking the creek and golf course. We had undercover parking very near our room. The setting is relaxing and the conference venue was outstanding. The buffet meals were very good.

Due to a incident with another hotel we ended up booking a room late at night and we explained our situation to the friendly reception. They were polite, empathetic and upgraded us to a spa room. I took a stroll through the place it found it just breathtaking. I would definitely would have loved to stay here all of our trip to the Gold Coast. Definitely will next time. Highly recommended

Food- some foods are good and some are delicious, however the menu could have lots of other things to eat. Menu is the same for kids for lunch and dinner but there s still plenty to choose from.
Kids room- It s okay because it has a table tennis table, a mini pool table and tv s. Kids room could have more in it.
Bed rooms- So good and the right size. TV in bed room is very good, only normal tv but you can Bluetooth you iPad and iPhone or other devices. Beds are very comfortable.
Swimming pools- the one near the tennis court or behind kingfisher is warm like a bath. The one over near reception is cold, but for the mums, grandmas, dads and grandpas, there is a lovely spa.
