This was a fantastic hotel to stay in. It was very welcoming with excellent, well-maintained facilities for the entire family to enjoy. The staff were friendly and we appreciated the notes the house keepers left.

The only criticisms are that we had to pay an extra $150 for the security bond on the credit card. This left us with minimal holiday spending money as we were unaware of this cost. Other hotels hold $1 - $50, does the security bond have to be so high?

The second criticism was that the restaurant menu was lacking diversity and the room service menu appeared to have more inviting dishes. However, we didn't want to eat in our room for dinner. Would there be an option to choose from the room service menu whilst at the restaurant?

All in all, we had a great time and have recommended Mecure Gold Coast Resort to many of our friends and family already and will more than likely stay there again, keeping the price stays at a reasonable amount.
