Nice spot for a picnic. Not a lot of parking available

Great area for kayak fishing, bbq, camping and kids fishing.

5 star accommodation. Beautiful setting with lots of wildlife.

Fantastic place for relaxing. Right beside the river with private jetty for guests. No telephone reception - even Telstra. But the nearest town Mallacoota has great mobile reception.

Everything was cleaned thoroughly - even the crumbs in the toaster. Dedicated BBQ for each cabin.

Love to spend another holiday here

Very nice to have a look around and if you want to do some fishing. There are public toilets and a motel. There's no coffee shops though

Stayed 2 nights in a water front room. Very well equipped and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Location was very peaceful and the view of the lake from the room was fantastic. Room itself was clean, bright and welcoming. Again, it had everything we were wanting for. Facilities were more than adequate and the staff at reception were very helpful. There is a little shop with heaps of movies and other bare essentials (food, beer and wine). The information provided in the room about local attractions and wildlife was also very useful.

Very nice and quiet lake view. Ideal stop for a picnic in front of the water. We were alone for the whole lunch (winter). Bathroom are not clean

We were two couples, staying for 2 nights in a wonderful 2-bedroom lakeview appartment. This place is Paradise on earth; well worth every dollar you pay. If you want to enjoy peace and tranquility, surrounded by exuberant nature, this place is a must!

Another corner of the end of the world, that we wanted to see. The place is beautiful, wild, far from (almost) everything, and almost no xG network. A disconnection from both the real and the digital ... What a pleasure!
The large accommodation bungalows are fully equipped, the terrace overlooking a park equipped with a swimming pool, and a large summer kitchen with BBQ available as is done in Australia.
Directly above the terrace, birds of all colors, kangaroos, pelican welcome you. A little paradise! Our only huge regret is that we only booked one night on a road trip from Sydney to Adelaide.
A big thank you in passing to the receptionist at Gipsy Point Lakeside for his warm welcome and .... in French please!

What a little gem. Enjoyed the walks in the national park. And what a view of the water from the apartment

Do the boat ride it is beautiful and peaceful and you can get to see all the animals really close

Very beautiful. A little 'isolated, kangaroos in the garden.

Very very lovely place to stay, we went for a weekend away and it was perfect.

We booked Gipsy Point and then the borders were closed for quarantine. Peter called soon after to offer a full refund! We will certainly come here when the quarantine is lifted. This has never happened to me before. With service this good, the stay will be excellent!

Stunning views, kangaroos around, quite with lovely sound of birds.

Stayed here in early 2014. This is a real gem - the rooms were impressive with terrific views. The restaurant, although small, was absolutely superb. I could not recommend this any higher.

[edit] I have stayed here a number of times since 2014. The owners and managers of the resort have been very hospitable. I have been able to moor my yacht on a jetty near to my room, and explore the inlet/lakes at my own pace.

The location is at the edge of internet reception. Just enough bandwidth to get or send an occasional message. Paradise.

Beautiful setting. Convenient location for those traveling between sydney & melbourne. Well appointed apartment. Great facilities. Good reception. Wished we could stay for longer. Loved the large variety of birds & close up views of wild roos. Left feeling rested & hope to return oneday soon.
