If you're looking to stay for the weekend to visit the sites of DC, this a decent choice. The hotel is located only a few minute drive from DC over the bridge and the area itself was really neat. There's a little park across the street and a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. It's really pleasant to walk around in the evening. The hotel room was fairly clean, beds were comfy, wish the AC was a little cooler but we were just happy it worked cause it was hot outside when we stayed. The TV has access to Netflix which was awesome. The pool was definite plus and it was nice having an outdoor or indoor option. Giving one less star because parking was $25 per night and you have to pay a little over $12 per night for WiFi in your room.

This hotel and restaurant is ok... Which is far below the standard of bei g a Marriott Hotel. It desperately needs a full remodel. That being said, the food was good and the staff was friendly.

Attack of the bedbugs! I will never stay here again. The gym wreaked of mildew and the front desk staff lacked true hospitality because they were very nonchalant when I expressed that I woke up with at least 11 bug bites. In addition, they unapologetically offered to move us to another room which by the way was not available.

Due to these shenanigans I submitted a complaint when we departed. Ultimately corporate was very unhelpful. However the security guard at the hotel handles pes conteol investigations and credited 30K points to my account a few days after we departed. Now that's hospitality!

Older and dated Marriott property that has definitely seen better days. Ridiculously expensive parking fee for on-site parking. I'd recommend parking a few blocks away on Wilson Blvd for a fraction of the cost. The air conditioning in the room I was provided could have been better. I felt it was not adequate to keep the room comfortable. I discovered that the iron was broken and I called down to the front desk for an iron. After waiting approximately 10 minutes I presented myself downstairs to the front desk staff. I told them that I needed an iron and they informed me they would send somebody up to my room. I waited another 15 minutes before presenting myself downstairs at the front desk for a second time. I then waited an additional 10 minutes before the staff was able to find an iron for me.

This hotel seems to be getting long in the tooth and definitely needs updating. The location is a bit inconvenient for walking (you can either wait through several lights to cross a highway, or do an overhead walk built for the park across the street.
The room had fresh paint and wallpaper and no complaints about the marriott standard beds. The shower needed a serious regrouting or at least bleaching.
Pros:
1. Friendly and helpful staff
2. Pretty lively bar.
3. Close to the metro (but see above for the awkward placement)
4. A little cheaper and more available than several nearby upmarket hotels
Cons:
1. Dated, not sparkling bathroom
3. Cramped, awkward layout (especially the bathroom)

If you're a runner, this is the best Marriott I've found in the DC area providing awesome access to running trails on the Georgetown side of the river. The hotel is nice enough, but the walk to the Rosslyn metro station is a little cumbersome. You either have to use a pedestrian overpass which is anything but direct, or wait at numerous crosswalks which just take forever.

The Key Bridge Marriott was by far one of the more affordable Marriott options for this trip. The room was a bit cramped. The biggest frustration was the limited access and available amenities in the concierge lounge. It's closed Friday nights and all of Saturday. I've come to rely on these lounges during my travels. It was a definite disappointment.

This hotel is not a nice as other Marriotts in the area. It has a Concierge Lounge, but it closes on the weekends which was not mentioned anywhere on their website. We also had problems with the water staying hot between 3 showers in the mornings. However, location is nice - 10 min from the airport and the mall area, plus walkable to some new bars and restaurants in the area. If you like running, it's also right on the river and has some nice paths nearby. Their service is also very good. Overall - for the price, you get what you get.

For this reason alone it gets a 5...makeup remover in your room..awesome for those who had a long day and need to remove their makeup! Room nicely appointed, view of DC monument nice, reasonable food pricing and room service pricing, clean. I would stay here again :)

Excellent hotel in a perfect location! The only thing I would have like to see is a small fridgerator in the room. It is aggravating to have to go out and get ice over and over again to keep a few things cold. The staff was all super friendly and helpful and the parking was really easy to get to as well. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

Upon arriving, you could tell my room wasn't completely clean, as I noticed when I took a shower hair still there that was not mine (obviously) and grime from the rim of a shampoo bottle or whatever. My room had 2 beds (room 314). I chose the wrong one initially and by 3am my first night,, I felt practically crippled. The springs were so old. I managed to roll out and thankfully spent the rest of my stay in the better one. Upon leaving, I was told that my room key would allow me out of the parking garage. I left with my conference colleagues, we all sat in a ridiculous line as others, including myself, repeatedly tried our failed keys and tickets we were given to no avail until we pressed the assistance button. No one answerd or came. They just eventually opened the gate, one at a time in that manner. There was a really nice worker passing by who had a leg brace, though and hobbled back to the main lobby to get help. Oh, also, during my long wait in line to get out of the parking garage, I tried to call the front lobby several times for assistance with this exiting nightmare. No one answered the phone! I let it ring and ring! I finally called the the reservation line and that rep could not connect me and simply told me to call back. I would Not Stay here again.

I had a Reservation for a work trip here. On my way there I received bad news that a very close relative had died. I of course was very upset and needed to head back home Immediately. I called Priceline and told them my situation. They were more then willing tp refund my money due to circumstances. They had to conyact the hotel and ask if they would be as willing as they were to give me a refund due to my circumstances the hotel said no. If there's ever a reason to refund someone's money it should be for a death in their family I need that money to now do what I need to do to get to this funeral and they said flat out no. The Priceline lady was upset to come back to tell me that the Marriott is refusing to do their part and refund my money I think that is really messed up they should give me my money back they said no it doesn't matter if death happened in her family. I travel a lot and I use Priceline a lot and I stay in all kinds of hotels I've never had this situation happened before but I really think if I was at a different hotel with somebody with some compassion but they would have refunded me my money I don't understand why they couldn't give me my money back due to my circumstances I will never ever ever stay at any of the Marriott's for the rest of my life and I would suggest that other people do not stay at them either when they had a death in their family cold-hearted all they care about is money obviously.

My friends and I stayed here when we ran the Marine Corps marathon, and this place was the best. The concierge and front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, and they were incredibly supportive and encouraging of all the runners as we left for the marathon on race morning. When we came back, they cheered for us and were proud for us. It was a wonderful experience -- they made a difference to us all. I would absolutely stay there again, and recommend it to anyone. I should add that their location was perfect for the race - we walked to and from the race. Everything was perfect.

This hotel is nothing short of terrible. I would've rather stayed at a cheap motel than here. The customer service is beyond horrible, the employees are extremly rude and unprofessional. There were roaches and spiders in my room, when i complained NOTHING was done about it. The manager said she will let us change rooms, but did not follow up on it. The resturant staff is bitter and unprofessional, and the front desk people (with the exception of Christian who is very polite and professional) everyone else acted like it was a favor that they were checking us in and often messed up our reservations. The only decent thing about this place is the location, it is right near DC. overall, I would avoid this place.

Great hotel. Room has a station where you can plug multiple devices in. Friendly staff. Great view of Georgetown, DC, and Rosslyn. Location can't be beat. I sincerely hope that this staple of the area remains open, instead of being closed within a year or two, as I heard on the news not long ago. I was saddened when they closed dining upstairs at The View.

Unfortunately, my room was beside a high school touring group. They arrived at 10:00 p.m. The kids were allowed to run up and down the hallway until Midnight. Then at 4:00 a.m. the chaperone's were banging on each of the doors yelling for the kids to wake up so they could begin their day of sightseeing...yes, 4:00 a.m. the following morning.

I recommend asking for a room on a floor where these school touring groups are not located. OR find a hotel away from the city and then drive in...at least you will be able to enjoy your stay.

It is a nice hotel with a great staff...just unfortunate there is no proper controls over those rude touring groups.

Loved it here! Great amenities- upscale bar, mini fridge and coffee/hot water maker in the room, complementary water, Starbucks, pool, fitness center. Room and lobby were clean, classy and stylish. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We have Marriott rewards so we had free wifi otherwise it's 12.95 per day for basic wifi. Only negatives were the complementary toiletries had a heavy unpleasant musk scent.

absolutely bad service. Parking is not free (22/day), front desk talks with an attitude, WIFI IS NOT FREE (13/day). Come on last time I paid for wifi was 10 years ago!
By the way, room is small and bathroom is small. They definitely didn't design the "king size" room for more than 1 person.

Rooms were not up to standard of what I expected. Bathroom was very tiny, no fridge or microwave. Internet costs 12.95 and wasn't good connection. Parking was $25/night. Overall, felt the hotel was a rip off and did not live up to my standards of a Marriott. I should have stayed at the Holiday Inn which has a rooftop restaurant that looked nice. Also should mention that our shower and sink leaked all over the bathroom floor when we ran them at the same time.

It was a little small and cramped, especially the shower. The restaurant downstairs, Connexion, was really good though. I didn't have a chance to see the pool, but the rest of the lobby area was clean and up to date. Added bonus - Netflix capable TV!

The Key Bridge Marriott Hotel was truly amazing. The atmosphere was phenomenal as soon as we walked through the front entrance. The hotel staff were very helpful for any questions or concerns we had about our stay here because we were from out of town. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever around in the area. A++

The key bridge Marriott is located conveniently close too many things, The Pentagon the Capitol Mall. The rooms are a bit dated and small. but the beds were neat and clean and the staff was nice. But really this hotel needs a full makeover.

Wall outlet did not work, so all my devices were left uncharged. Had to play around with the toilet flush Everytime it was used. Towels smelled like mildew. Armchair had many stains that I would not sit in. The only saving grace was that the lobby and restaurant were nice.

-No complimentary wifi ($13 a day)

-No complimentary wifi ($13 a day)
-Parking rate is insane ($25 a day)
-No complimentary breakfast, albiet expected ($20 a day)
-Air in the room did not work properly
-Not sure where the staff from the other reviews went because every time I talked with the ladies at the desk they were rude and had an attitude of "I don't want to help you" and "we're better than you"

+Got a nice discounted rate from the event I was attending ($119 a day)
+Good location to Roslyn and DC colleges

Summary: would not stay at again if I did not have the discounted rate

Concierge Lounge had very nice light food and dessert, as well as a spectacular view of the river. It's a nice location from which to start a short walk over to Georgetown. Staff was very kind and allowed me access to the Lounge even though I didn't have enough points.

This was a nice hotel within walking distance to Georgetown with a wonderful view of the river. It was interesting that this is the oldest Marriott hotel in existence. While the outside shows, the inside has been renovated and updated. Staff was friendly and curtious and the concierge lounge staff went above and beyond. Parking was easy too. Breakfast buffet was not that great during the week--though there was an omlette station during the weekend. Will def stay here again!

The location is ideal. A little noisy, but the hotel towers the city. Ask a view of Georgetown. A little outdated on the decoration, but who cares your their to sleep not to remodel a room. Walking distance to the metro and other wonderful bars and restaurants. Good price value for a Friday night too.

The Key Bridge Marriott is a decent hotel with good amenities, restaurant, bar, and meeting and banquet rooms. It is conveniently located with plenty of handy parking on property. Staff is well trained and very friendly and helpful. This is not a new property, so some of the building could use updating.
