Could use a few cosmetic updates, but it's a great place.
Location is slightly out of the way, but rates are good and the bed is comfortable--more comfortable than the Courtyard by Marriott nearby.
Have stayed here many times and have had great experiences with the hotel and staff. It is currently being updated, and it needed it. The rooms are not big, but the customer service and rates and location make it a great option.
Great price. Easy to get to the hotel, convenient to downtown and the National mall area. Great amenities on site with plenty of parking.
False advertising. Pics showed indoor pool and hot tub but they don't have either. Poor location. Lots of walking
Accommodating staff and services. Convenient location to many attractions in DC and VA. Reasonable rates and enjoyable in-hotel cafe and lounge.
A very friendly lady named Zohra, who was in charge of the Concierge Lounge on the 12th floor, made our stay very warm. We were at the Key Bridge Marriott for three nights while I underwent some procedures at George Washington University Hospital. We met her the first day, and from that day on, she went above and beyond to be kind and hospitable and loving. She was far more kind and personable than the front desk people. She made this hotel stand out more than others we've stayed in. Thank you, Zohra, for everything! 5 stars for you!
One of the original Marriott Hotels, nice people working there.
The hotel is old and in need of renovation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean but on the small side. As with any hotel the food is overpriced.
Dated. Staff was great.
Requested D.C. view. Didn't happen.
Service is great and close to the metro to get around DC.
Hotel is great. A little older, but updated. It's right on the Potomac so great views of Georgetown and close to DC.
Great location, comfortable beds. Fan in room was a little janky & loud, but couldn't be happier with the price.
Good location, but the budget rooms are in a different building.
Very outdated hotel. Ice machine on my floor didn't work. Toddle Crib was very dirty. Found bed bugs in my room and their team was very unresponsive. Do not go here unless you want to get bit by bed bugs. Also the rooms are very noisy. Here's a picture of the bed bug I found.
I really like this hotel. It provides a really great value as it sits just across the river from Georgetown. Very easy and cheap to uber in and out of DC from here.
We rented a conference room here and it was pretty painful. The staff was not helpful and made it clear that every little thing, like a projector and internet, was going to cost is money. It ended up being expensive with alright service. Can't recommend for events.
Check all of your credit card statements from the Key Bridge Marriott. The people who work here are getting away with fraud. I stayed for 3 nights and got charged for staying for 5 nights and 5 days of parking. I have been disputing the charge for months now and still no luck. Every time I speak to someone from the Key Bridge Marriott there is either a language barrier, or the person is rude and clueless.
I booked a block of hotel rooms here for a company retreat. Liliana was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was accommodating, professional, and responsive. I would recommend selecting this venue for your company retreats and working with Liliana. She'll ensure your guests are well-taken care of! Great location near Georgetown, too!
I was very disappointed in this hotel. Most of the time Marriotts are very nice, this room was very old and dated. The breakfast in the morning is WAY over priced my advice would be go into town and get something to eat, the breakfast here just isn't worth what you pay.
Very bad receptionist on Tuesday 11 February 6 am, I paid over 300for this staying in the hotel for four nights and then I asked for books of tissue while I m checking out and she refused to give me!
Friendly staff, wonderful service. Very comfortable. Almost like being at home.
Checking in was quick but service was bad and unexpected from such a large and reputable hotel chain. They charge twice for the parking and after calling to report they forwarded the call to other Dept. Very disappointed! Not staying there ever.
Older historic hotel from the Watergate scandal. It has great access to the metro
The room was spacious and very clean. You can get Netflix on the TV and room service was delicious!
Excellent hotel. Friendly staff. Within walking distance to get to DC
I stayed here for a wedding which was in DC just across the river. The hotel is definitely showing some age. A lot of the fit and finish was worn and I expected it to be nicer for the rate I was paying. The hotel lounge is nothing to write home about and is a little overpriced for what it is. To conclude, if this place is convenient to where you need to be, then it's fine. Otherwise, I would stay somewhere else.
The place is a little dated . But Ronaldo makes the place rock. Guy has been at Marriott for 45+ years and treats every guest as his family member. Very impressed!
The breakfast is very nutritious and filling, the views from my hotel window are breathtaking
This hotel has great views of Washington. The hotel seems somewhat old and in need of an update but staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking is not cheap and you will need it if you have a car
Great views and a very nice hotel. They also had a concierge lounge for Platinum + members that offered free hot breakfast.
Was here for a meeting. Appetizers were good, service was friendly. Nice lobby area with a Starbucks.
The conference facilities were very nice and the catering staff was excellent. The rooms were slightly outdated but clean and neat and comfortable. The layout of the bathroom was annoying as the toilet was situated under the sink such that the seat could not remain open. The bar is ridiculously expensive but that's to be expected.
Conveniently located by the Key Bridge making it close to Georgetown. The rooms were nice and clean the staff was so nice and helpful. We ate at the restaurant for a late night dinner and brunch, very good. Had a fantastic Blueberry Mohito.
Decent location, but desperately needs updating. The staff were great and the lounge was nice.
Nice hotel. The food is good and service is great. Very close to Fort Myer.
Excellent hotel accommodations. The room offered all the amenities I was seeking. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Always satisfied at Marriott.
This hotel really shows it's OLD age once you get in the room. (Plus my TV was stuck on a dim setting) broken tv, bath room from the stone age, small full size beds not queen, and a motel view. Marriott more like Motel 6.
Stayed for a couple of nights. Very spacious rooms and comfortable place to stay. The location wasn't too bad, being a 5-10 minute walk to Rosslyn station. I would recommend it for someone on a budget but still wants hotel conveniences
Very nice hotel. Nice hotel bar as well. The staff was friendly. The pool was fun. Clean rooms. Nice rooms.
Clean facilities, friendly and helpful staff, great concierge lounge for members
Nice, but I was expecting something more from the room decor.
Very nice modern hotel. The underwhelming outside is deceptive as the interior is very nice. Beds and pillows are super comfortable.
Great view from the capital view conference room, but signage was lacking to find the meeting space
Very nice views, lovely conference spaces. Odd layout with some conference rooms first floor and some 3rd.
Older hotel. The AM lounge staff were amazing. Otherwise, the service was very subpar. The front desk staff were not welcoming whatsoever. Wouldn t recommend. Restaurant staff was very poor too. The view from the day was amazing from the 14th floor.
hotel was o.k.
note, they desperatly need a renovation and there are many much better hotels in the area. room was clean, beds were comfortable
The fire alarm went off, we were upstairs and we didn't hear the alarm go off. They said you could only hear it downstairs. If it was a fire, we could have burnt up. What kind hotel, that you stay in and can't hear no fire alarm. This needs to be fixed immediately. This is the only reason I'm giving it a low rating.
Was there for a big wedding and it was a marvelous experience, made possible by an attentive and caring staff. Not to mention awesome views!
This is one of the oldest Marriotts in the US, but you wouldn't know it. My rooms was updated. The lounge was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here, especially the location.
Great location near City center, easily accessible by public transportation, courteous staff. Rooms and views were also nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Lots of history. Staff is is excellent and amenities are wonderful. Marriott sold it to private developer this year so enjoy it while you can. With views and access like this the condos will go for large sums.
The staff, service and food were wonderful. Very close for walks into Georgetown.
Lincoln room event was well organized. However front desk staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful.
Decent hotel at a good price. A bit run down but not unless you're very critical. Walking distance to Georgetown and some other cool areas.
Great location, easy walking distance to Georgetown or the Rosslyn Metro. Rooms and bathroom are on the smaller side, but overall hotel was a good experience. One drawback was the $25/day for parking. If my conference hadn't been paying for it, I would have chosen another hotel based on that alone.
My room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed and furniture was decently comfortable.
There were no USB plugs anywhere in the room, and no Bluetooth audio on the radio, which are both common these days.
Staff was quite friendly, and the food at the restaurant was tasty. Room service didn t pull from the full menu, however, so options there were lacking.
Service is alright, nothing to get excited about. Lobby and shared areas are nice, but the rooms leave something to be desired.
The room was not bad the carpet has been updated recently and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could use an update the shower was very old and the controls made little sense. Also the bathroom had a drop ceiling which makes me fear what could be hiding up there. The hotel is right on a flight path so you constantly hear planes flying by. I did not get a chance to explore the bar or restaurant.
Desperately in need of a renovation. Service was good but everything else was dated.
The rooms are always so clean and the towels so fresh
Nice Staff. Aged hotel, below Marriott standards. Bugs in the room. I was on the 7th floor with both ants and 1 small cockroach. Location is great. But the hotel rooms need a complete overhaul. Expensive for the level of room quality.
Excellent all around. Rooms and bathrooms could be a bit larger, but beyond that location staff and the amenities work above standard. The hotel is very close to Arlington DC and there is spectacular views. I highly recommend the concierge level with the Waterfront View.
Fantastic views of the Potomac all the way down to the Washington Monument near Georgetown University and all the upscale shopping they have to offer and you can take a picture where they shot some scenes of The Exorcist. See photos. Walking distance from the Virginia side to the Maryland side is much quicker than trying to cross it by car. Find a safe place to park. I recommended Marriott especially if you're a guest there.
Location was good. 5 minute walk to the metro then sort metro ride into DC. Room was decent size and clean. Staff were helpful ands friendly. Only complaint is 12.95 per day for wifi.
Restaurants terrible and overpriced. Noticed a huge Indian influence. Not the best service. However clerks at desk very professional and helpful
The Key Bridge Marriott is a nice place and is close to a lot of DC sights.
This is a great hotel. The staff treat me like family and make each stay wonderful. They remember me from visit to visit even when a month or two pass by. Highly recommend this place!
The hotel and rooms are well furnished and clean. Service is kind and helpful. Internet in lobby was the only source for surfing the web.
I travel a lot for work and this hotel is very disappointing. 1) the rooms are amazingly small. That I could get past but 2) this is the first hotel I have been in that did not have power outlets at the desk. If you want to plug something in you need to crawl behind the corner of the desk to find ONE outlet.. I tend to try to stay at Marriott properties as often as I can. I can honestly say this hotel makes them look bad.
Additional, there is just a general lack of attention to detail. Things like a cracked outlet, outlets crooked, discolored tile in the bathroom ceiling and only one light next to the bed (and only one outlet,)
It was really clean and nice I really liked it the beds are super soft and the pillows omg are great.
Room was disappointing, more dated than I would expect. Facility was otherwise nice. Not worth anywhere close to y$350 per night I paid.
Nice hotel. It is older (2nd Marriott ever) but the service is exceptional
Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was great.
Very nice hotel, and easy walk to the city area across the over-street walking bridge.
Hotel was fine. View of the water was alright. But I must say, the revival place for breakfast was the slowest I've experienced. Even after so long of over half an hour, there no food on the table. Even my apple juice didn't even come for over half an hour until I asked for apple juice and the milk. 1 star for that place.
Mediocre all around. NOT a category 6 Marriott; maybe an average roadside IH Express.
Rooms are old, hallways are old and feel dirty, we did not get any upgrade as Gold Elite nor were we even recognized as such.
The shower is falling apart, the A/C was broken for the first half of our stay, the mattress was sinking (!) as well as the pillows.
Breakfast buffet was decent at 7am but empty at 9.30am when most guests go to eat on a vacation (it s officially open until 10am). The gym is decent but small (not more than two guests can fit) and windowless.
Overall, very disappointing. Would not come back or recommend to others.
Friendly staff, prompt service, and clean-comfortable rooms
Hello. I recently stayed at a Mariot key hotel in Washington, D.C. I am very disappointed at the quality of everything, the rooms, the food, and the amount of critters and creatures crawling around everywhere. It is more than slightly disturbing. One massive roach crawled out from under my chair at the complimentary breakfast, by the way the food was horrible, and also saw multiple critters crawling across the hallways m and stairways. I would strongly believe that you would stay far away from the Marion Key Hotel, Arlington.
A beautiful location for weddings with beautiful views of dc!
This is probably the worst hotel that I have stayed at in my life. Although the service staff was great, the hotel has a lot of flaws. Room service is terrible, particularly how they package things. My first night I orderd soup and it spilled. Not only that, since the container was not well closed, i burnt myself. Food was not good. I did not get receipts and it took management to get the receipts to me 2 days!!!! The hotel is pretty ran down. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
The help were great. They were wonderful people. But I get sick of being "fee'd" to death. The charge 13 bucks *per day* for WiFi. For the most part I went to Starbucks.
But the one day I did purchase WiFi, which I thought was for a twenty four hour period, they tried to charge me for two days because I ordered in the evening and kept it into the next day.
Why can't they just offer WiFi? Starbucks does, and I only need to buy a cup of coffee.
Rooms were clean but there is no free breakfast. Breakfast is $14 for cold and $18 for hot
Very good location, easy access to DC and Arlington. Comfortable beds, although the rooms are a bit older feeling.
Spent 3 days at this property in June. This has to be one of the oldest Marriott's I have ever stayed at. However, while it is an older property, the price is right and the location is fantastic. You can walk to Georgetown and can walk to Rosslyn Station in 5 minutes. The 5A bus to Dulles International airport is also conveniently located at that station. Another unique feature of this property is the outdoor pool. It was 40C when I was staying here and it was great to lay by the pool.
View was amazing and room was clean and proper when I checked in.
