We booked here through a third party and so didn t get free breakfast or free wi-fi, which seems to be standard at most other hotels, including every other Marriott we stayed at. However, the hotel is set up a bit differently, with two full-service restaurants. The daily buffet breakfast was typical fare, but rather pricey at $18 per adult. We did get the Wi-Fi free, but had to join Marriott Rewards to do so.
The hotel seems older and it shows in various ways, especially the bathroom, chiefly the older bathtub tile, drop ceiling, poor ventilation, and nowhere to hang a towel. The pool was also dated. The room was smallish with full-size beds (not queen), but the TV worked fine and there was in-room coffee and fridge, but no microwave. The beds were quite comfortable. The location was good, about 10 minutes from the Rosslyn Metro station and downtown Arlington, although the overpass system is cumbersome (especially with suitcases) if you want to avoid all the traffic intersections. It is a bit away from all the downtown tall buildings, so most rooms likely have good views we overlooked Georgetown and even saw the President s helicopter from our sixth floor room.
The room was quiet, with two big caveats the HVAC had an annoying drone (but you could turn it off) and the hotel is on the flight path for Washington National Airport. I was awoken by the roar of jet engines every morning at 6 am. (I would guess the jet noise will be an issue for most Arlington hotels.) On the other hand, I was the only one in my family that was bothered by the jets.
What overrode any of these nitpicks were the staff. They were great. Everyone (except the guy who answers the phone) was wonderful, smiling, pleasant, friendly, treated us like gold. Josie and Keesha went out of their way, especially for our kids, to make our stay there just a wonderful experience.

Pros - The best part about this hotel are the beds. They are so comfortable we slept pretty much the whole time. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the White House so there are a lot of tourist areas.

Cons - you have to pay 25 dollars per night for parking and the hotel is located in a downtown area so chancing a street parking might not be the best choice. There is no free breakfast and no cable movie channels in the rooms. This is a very basic hotel that markets itself as high end. Wouldn't stay there again.

Not included on the price advertised online: 13% tax, $25 per day for parking and $40 incidental charge. Could be the worst hotel experience that I ve had in my life. The hotel manager is a complete disaster and is very unprofessional. I do not recommend.

I have stayed twice now at the Key Bridge Marriott since last spring since my son moved around the corner. Both times, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. The first time we arrived after 11pm to check in due to horrible holiday traffic. All we wanted to do is have a glass of wine after the drive and the bar was closed. We spoke to assistance manager who was there at the time and even though the bar was closed, she allowed us to buy a drink. I saw that everything was put away and the draw was counted. She didn't have to accomodate us, but she did. The second time we stayed, my daughter forget her boots in the room. I called the next day and they had found the boots and offered to mail them no charge! What hotel does that! I highly recommend the Key Bridge for the staff alone. It's close to the airport and a short metro ride to downtown Washington.

Lobby is beautiful, but don t let it mis-lead you. Our room was small and A/C wasn t working properly even after the front desk was alerted and we were told it would be fixed, (for example: it was set at 63 degrees but felt like 75 degrees). Our room had two double beds and mattresses were uncomfortable and extremely soft around the edges which meant if you got too close to the edge, the mattress would give and you d fall out of bed. Duvet cover was stained and unclean when we got to our room along with questionable stains on the walls next to the bed. A new Duvet was requested upon arrival and never received and had to be requested again in the morning along with an explanation of what a duvet cover is. Headboards were dirty along with walls and carpet. Service was friendly, but we had to ask twice before any action was taken. Ice machine was broken on our floor, hallways are dark and dingy.

Worst Marriott I've been to in a while. The hotel is old, outdated and loud. You can hear the planes landing and there was a constant high pitched whine all night. The only redeeming factor of this hotel was the staff. Everyone was friendly and smiling which made this horrible stay a little bit better. I'm glad I only spent one night there since I won't be coming back.

We always look forward to our stay at this well located Marriot! We enjoy the food, the pleasant staff & the views. Here are a few of the staff who took good care of us: Marit, the food & Beverage Manager, and the always friendly restaurant/bar staff, Minzhi, MD, Zewdi & Hagar. Today we got to watch the Marine Marathon from our window which faces Georgetown & a little bit if Rosslyn. The photo was not great but it was a thrill to see these dedicated runners out in the miserable rainy cold weather, running, walking & jogging! HOORAH! Thanks Marriott.

Hotel is great. There shouldn t be a rate to park. I m a guest at your hotel, but you re going to charge me $25 a day to park here. Wow!! am I the only person to think that s unfair? Before you say yes and everybody does it. Does that make it fair? Dare to be fair and treat your customers right.

Customer service is great! The hotel is nice and clean but has to be upgraded and need some add ons like microwave in the room. Also their restuarant can be improved with good edible items. This hotel is closer to all tourist places in D.c. I recommend this hotel if u dont stay longer in the room. They clean the room every day which s good.

The rooms are your average Marriott hotel room. However, the noise level was unacceptable. we could hear very clearly everything happening in the room next-door and the traffic and planes outside. The front desk did respond appropriately when we called to ask them to speak with our noisy neighbors and the check in process was straight forward. The rooms did appear clean. The bathroom was on the smaller end of hotel bathrooms.

This hotel does not live up to the Marriott name. Outdated and mixmatched updates. The lobby is the only good impression of the hotel. From the paint over wallpaper, drywall patches everywhere, and mildew/smoke smell apparently in the halls and rooms this hotel does not live up to the Marriott reputation. Coworkers room had silly string dried to the ceiling. Don t waste your money, I had a much better experience at the Residence Inn by Marriott in the Navy Yard.

The room was pretty nice and the staff was really friendly. The hallways are really confusing though. They're low and winding and dark. But the room was spacious. They also had a little convenience store which was helpful as there were things I had forgot to bring.

The overall experience was horrible. First, if you don t know - they charge about 20 dollars a day to park, where I m from they don t charge so I never thought to look for it on the website. Once I entered the room I could tell it was renovated- like it was a motel before. They had it where you couldn t open the back door and painted over the sign, as if no one would notice & put the pieces together. When I booked the hotel I requested a roll away bed with the double beds that were in the room, no one contacted me about a problem with the request and when I got to the hotel I mentioned something about it to the desk associate (she said nothing) so once I got to my room to call about the extra bed they told me they dont do roll a ways in rooms with double beds because of fire hazard- which I completely understood, I was just upset because no one mentioned it before, which later I ended up receiving the bed. The bathroom was very small and the shower had hair strands and hairs on the side of the tube as if someone was shaving, the sealing of the shower had big brown stains.. to be honest I was horrified of taking a shower. If you are a smoker and basically don t want to walk a mile and a half just to smoke - don t book. The smoking area is way in the back of the hotel. There was something wrong with the t.v where the brightness was very low and the buttons on the side didn t work & there was a shortage in the outlet closest to the bed so I couldn t charge my phone so we called the front desk the maintenance guy comes up doesn t touch anything or attempt to look like he was he just said he couldn t fix it and that everything is broken in the hotel. At this point I was honestly ready to leave. There aren t many common food places in walking distance a lot of them are local restaurants. All in all, you get what you pay for. The only reason I gave them the one star was because the room attendant was sweet and the beds were comfy and clean.

This Marriott is in a decent location, but not in Prime condition. Could use a refresh of beds and furniture (at least the room that we were in). Also, please check make sure if you need a Rollaway bed that the room can actually physically accommodate the bed with the other furniture in the room. We were left stepping around the hideaway bed when in use and it was still very much in the way when not in use.

12 year old daughter was disappointed with the policy of no one under age 16 in the hot tub. This is the first hotel in years that there's even been a lifeguard at the pool area.

Workout areas were musty on the first floor, then the basement weight room felt like a 1970s basement. Needs help.

The Concierge lounge was a bright spot at the hotel, well stocked and great service folks.

Room's on the smaller side but great location. Georgetown is right across the bridge and the metro station is in 7 minute walking distance. Price was very reasonable compared to some other DC locations for a midweek stay.

It was just ok. The hotel was nice yeah that s cool. Hotel front desk was nice. But all other amenities suck. How am I getting a room for 4 people but only getting two breakfast for 2. That doesn t add up. Be for warned.

Good hotel in good spot, close to Rosslyn metro station just 7 min walk, and 5 stops from Smithsonians. Did not give all 5 stars because they do not have breakfest included, so You have to pay from 16$ extra for breakfest. The room is spacious they have small fridge for You, the only downside is there is no microwave oven. And the AC is so laud.

The parking is absolutely ridiculous and NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOMS!!!!!!!!!!!! If you need a microwave they have one in the shop where Starbucks is BUT THEY CLOSE AT 9PM... SO IF YOU HAVE DIABETES and NEED TO HEAT FOOD AFTER 9PM... GOOD LUCK...THEY WILL NOT OPEN THE STORE SO YOU CAN HEAT YOUR FOOD??? I guess I could've ran my soup through the coffee maker??? Parking... hmmm I had to park on the third floor, which is not connected to the hotel. Nor is there an elevator? I had to walk down 3 flights of STEEP stairs with my purse let alone luggage. I did not have the money to pay for bell hop so carrying all of our luggage up and down 3 flights of STEEP stairs was ridiculous.like...WHY WHY WHY WOULDN'T THEY CONNECT THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOOR TO THE HOTEL AT THEIR RESPECTIVE LEVELS? WHY? Once I got in the hotel on the first floor, I had to walk a city block just to get to the elevator to get to my floor. Back up 9 flights. Omg... I'm not kidding. Exhausting. NO MICROWAVE..however; if a patron comes to the lobby at midnight and needs to heat up soup bc her blood sugar is low...AND after already stayed there for past 2 nights then Jesus Christ find a microwave so she can heat her food? Like where are heating your dinner tonight Mrs night shift manager? Where? And even if someone needs to heat up food...reguardless of an illness... put the damn microwave out where it's available 24 hours a day please. Oh... and lots of construction going on around this hotel so the "easy" walk they say it is to the metro bus stop is way off... bc of road construction you had to go completely different to the metro and another mile walk. So plan on walking a lot and make sure you have checked your blood sugar before 9pm in case you need to heat up food. Never again would stay here. But if you have cash flow then one could use the bell hop, take uber and order hot food from a restaurant. Not budget friendly.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!!! I have stayed in many Marriott but this by far the worse one!!! I always read the reviews but only believe half of them. But in this case every negative one was true. Upon check in the lobby had a strange smell, glass doors were very dirty. Elevators to the room were dirty and old as well. Hallways to the room were like walking through a dungeon. It had rained that night and water was all over the floors. The bathrooms were very dirty and small, hair from the previous guest was still on the floor. Shower was so small you had to touch a dirty wall on one side and the nasty shower line on the other side. Air conditioning did not work. Called the front desk at 10:25 am to report this, came back to the room at 10: 39 pm to a hot room. Called the front desk, they sent someone up and still no air. At 8am next morning was awaken to a work truck unloading heavy equipment in the parking lot and a backhoe doing work. Upon checkout I reported my experience to front desk to get a simple reply of "Oh well, sorry you had a bad stay". Not good customer service to say the least !

I am at the hotel i mean inn. It is not a hotel. It is inn quality hotel may be inn is much batter. First mattress spring is broken and not even. It is hard to sleep. So disappointed. Second you have to pay parking. It is 25$. Third also you need to pay WiFi. Fifth you could hear door slam at night. Sixth front door customer service lady who speak franch is not nice. You need to use super nice word to ask.

Great location, multiple restaurants in walking distance, the Metro is a 10 min walk. Georgetown is a walk across the Key bridge. Room was clean, pool was great indoor and outdoor combined together. Parking garage is attached to the hotel. Very kind and helpful staff, especially the concierge service. Wise Guy Pizza is a definite place to check out in the area and order pizza, no delivery though, we walked it back to the hotel. Would highly recommend this Marriot and it's location.

Location of this hotel was great, it's literally across the bridge from the National Mall, and Memorial Parks. The views aren't that great because of the buildings in the way, but they still try. The pool wasn't working when we went, and we were not told. Also parking is $25 a night unless your an overnight guest and ask for it to be waived(?)

My first floor room had dead bugs around the bathroom and the toilet seat would not stay up as the counter was in the way. I ordered room service which was tasty, but the hotel was plagued by constant low-level air traffic through the night

The place had stained curtains, the light flickered like a horror film, and old rooms. The workout room was small and only 1 20 lbs dumbbell. Location not best for Georgetown or Arlington downtown. The staff were friendly.

The hotel is an ideal location. The monuments and museum are all within a very close distance. The metro couldn't be any easier to access and the hotel is very clean and staff is friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Look forward to staying at the Key Bridge Marriott in the future!

First Marriott in the DC area and great value. Don't expect regular Marriott quality here due to the old age of the property. They have tried to renovate to update but you can still tell it's outdated in many ways.

Terrible. An expensive hotel that also makes you pay 25 dollars to park In their parking lot while your staying there. You are a guest and you have to pay to park. Stay away from this hotel.

The room was ok but we had continual issues with the toilet not flushing and the tub did not drain at all when taking a shower. The hotel restaurant wasn't affordable ($17 for a breakfast omelet) and we tried to go swimming but they closed the pool in the middle of the day on July fourth. We will not be staying here when we come back to DC.

It was okay a little challenging I expected more from a Marriott but then I saw there going to be tearing it down so that's probably why they have been remodeled. Everything is outdated and what's worse is parking was pretty expensive at $25

Recently remodeled and nicely furnished, but it won't be my first choice if I'm ever in the area again... There different are conventions, parties, and tour groups crowding public areas and charging loudly up and down the halls each day.

And charging $22 for breakfast would make a lot more sense if it was something different and better than every other hotel's complimentary continental buffet!

The hotel staff were great, as usual.

The hotel staff were great, as usual.

The first floor, lobby, and restaurant areas are all very modern, but my guest room was small and a little dated. While everything was impeccably clean, the bathroom fixtures were very old, paint was very uneven on the walls, and the furniture barely fit in the room.

It's a Washington area hotel with Washington area prices. The building is aging (a bit un-gracefully), but it fulfill my needs. I'll admit that I'd like to see money spent on elevator repair. Great staff and great location.

We are in town for a Tourette rally, our first hotel was super expensive so we moved to this one for final night. Front desk clerk was super sweet! She gave us a newly renovated room, super clean!!! Very nice! She was suggested a great pizza place to have delivery. The outside makes it look very outdated, but the room was great! My biggest complaint is Tv quality wasn't great but it was still fine!

Beds are comfy! Our super expensive hotel didn't have had comfy as this hotel!

I would say for the price it's a great little hotel!

Everything In the hotel is way overpriced, the staff was rude. It costed 30 bucks a night just to park the car there even though I was already staying in the hotel, the "restaurant" in the hotel didnt even have good food and it was way over priced for the quality it is, roughly 20 bucks a person for a meal plus they didnt even tell you the price for it until after you got your food. Anyway I do not recommend this hotel, you can definitely find a better one

I'm told this is one of the oldest if not the oldest Marriott in the country! The hotel has an older architecture and it's in a great location with fantastic views around the Potomac. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend taking in the night-time view from the top floor Lounge.

This Mariott is cheap because it's across the bridge in another state from everything but it's only a 5 min drive so it makes staying here worth it. Upon our check in, we were greeted by Sandra at the front desk and she was SO nice. The best part of staying here would definitely be her hospitality. My reasoning for not giving it 5 stars is because WiFi here isn't free. You have to pay per day or be a rewards member to get at least the basic option. Also, I had read in on the amenities here and there is SUPPOSED to be an indoor pool and jacuzzi but we found out it's closed for repairs.

I and someone else went here in April of 2017. The experience was terrible. One we had a roaches or bed bug don't know which is which because they both look alike. After going to the front desk. They replace us in a different room on a higher level and gave us free breakfast for the rush of are stay. Once the both us got their we exam the room for bugs. At least that room didn't have none.

The location was great, about a 7 minute walk from the metro station and very easy to find. The staff was incredible (a friend had transferred the reservation to me). The room looked great, and the mirrors were amazing. The room service was very worth it, and the price was pretty comprable to if I had gone out for breakfast in the area. The surrounding area is also beautiful, with artwork everywhere!

The view from the 14th floor venue is unbelievable. Maybe the best view of the Washington skyline anyone could get. We saw 4 bald eagles in the time we were there. Great wedding venue. Good food, very comfortable, good service.

Got off to bad start at check in, arrived after a 16 journey and was meet with a cold greeting and absolutely no information on the hotel and it went down hill from there. First meal served frozen chicken. Next meal asked for brown rice as per menu option served while rice. By now I should have said never again but only for the rain on the next day we decided to give it another go. Started ok but kept it very simple so the had dessert warm fudge cake with ice cream no cake appeared only chocolate sauce on top. The staff are not friendly despite what other reviews may say. Can honestly say never again.
