Only place we could find to park our dual rear drive truck to to height.
Convenient walk to Georgetown. The associates there have always been super helpful across multiple stays.
The location was good. The rooms where very nice. Although you had to pay for Wifi and also the pool was not available when I stayed. Service was very kind.
Love the location for work trips. Jog along the canal path or around the mall in the morning and commute against traffic to work.
Wall certainly somewhat run down and outdated at this point In desperate need of a serious renovation The Key Bridge Marriott still boasts some of the most fabulous and unrivaled panoramic views of any hotel in Washington DC. Great conference space and above average dining options.
The staff is a little slow on the uptake and they carefully monitor people who look slightly different. Lots and lots of tourists in this overcrowded hotel. Rooms are usual Marriott high quality. Great location at a good price. Breakfast is expensive. And, the phone operator NEVER answers the phone. Our whole family could never get in touch with each other because the phone line is never answered. How frustrating.
Amazing hotel. Nice rooms great service, and plenty of common space.
I had a great stay here. Everyone was super friendly and my room was clean and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
Solid mainline Marriott. Great location. Easy access to the city.
It's a nice place. Staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable. I especially like when hotels have inputs available so I can plug in my computer and use the TV as an extra montior
Doing this for Google Play money. Really more of a 3* hotel, not all that great. Has the basic amenities you'll need for a few nights. Don't touch the fridge, find a cheap place to eat outside, very basic.
Room was comfortable. I still find it difficult to believe that hotels charge for Internet in the 21st century.
I was there for a professional event on the top floor. The space was great with a wonderful view over the water towards Georgetown and the food was excellent!
Nice hotel for professional events. Good space and professional staff
Great service & fantastic room. Wasn't a long stay, but perfect location for our early morning departure at Reagan.
Staff was wonderful. View was amazing! Nice location, aboit a 10-15min drive to Reagan.
Woke up in the middle of the night, which is rare for me, but that's not the problem. I was thirsty, so I wanted a bottle of water. Turns out, for a room that I paid over $300 for, there isn't any water! I even checked the mini fridge to see if there was one I could buy. Well, the mini fridge was completely empty. Why even have it then? It just makes noise. So I call guest services and they tell me I can get one free at the front desk or use the vending machine in the hall. I'm not dressed and it's 5 am and I was planning to go back to sleep, so I'm not going to get dressed. She says it can be delivered to my room in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later, it's still not here and I'm writing this review because I'm thirsty and can't fall asleep and there's an advisory saying to boil tap water for 3 minutes before drinking. Trying to save a dollar on a $300 room is truly ridiculous. Wouldn't even have complained if they left one in the fridge and charged $5 for it. At least give me an option.
Sadly this hotel has gone downhill over the years. The mattresses are old and stained and the hallways look like they need a remodel. The room walls could use a good cleaning. The most disappointing aspect was the condition of the mattresses in my room. I've come to expect cleanliness and luxury from a full service Marriott.
Attended an event and the view from the top floor is wonderful. The restrooms were clean and the catering/bar staff very nice and friendly.
We had a corner room and the view was spectacular! Room service was hot, fast and delicious. Daily maid service was spot on perfection and they never touched our personal items. The breakfast buffet had dozens of choices from sweet to savory yummy goodness!
Nice concierge lounge and great view of the river. Everything was pretty good. Conveniently located.
Here for a conference. Great views of the Potomac and Georgetown on the 14th floor.
Nickel and dime you to death. a terrible breakfast for two at a rate of 36$.
Staff is courteous. This is Marriott's Second hotel, built in 1957
Thank you for quickly accommodating a change of venue when we arrived expecting to swim. Desk staff super helpful. Pleased Marriott rewards member.
Good location, conference food is pretty high-quality, the hotel is a bit old, but still an overall good hotel.
Clean and cozy beds, clean bathroom. The hotel overlooks an amazing view of DC and is just 15 minutes from the US Capitol
I have never had such a bad experience while traveling.
I booked a room through Expedia for myself and had my trained and registered service dog with me. This Marriot was, previously, advertised as pet-friendly but in the case of service animals that doesnt matter. These helpful and, often life-saving, animals are allowed anywhere in public including hospitals and restaurants. They undergo more training than many adult humans have had.
Long story short- when I arrived I was informed that they did not let ANY dogs in-service or not- I was told by a rude, young man at the desk. I asked if I could just switch to another Marriott somewhere else. After all Marriott Hotels are known for being universally pet friendly. I found the exception and was not going to make a big deal. The rude adolescent at the desk told me I could not do that.
I am a super easy guy and I didn't want to be "that guy" so I left quietly figuring I would call and between Priceline and Marriot I wouldn't have a problem getting refunded. I even booked my next room through Priceline in a show of good faith. What a waste!!!
The billion dollar Marriott Corporation is unwilling to give me back money on a room that I never spent a single minute in. I will never stay in another Marriott and I will never use Priceline again and I suggest that anyone reading this do the same. By Allowing these huge corporations to bully us, we become complicit in their shady business habits.
Attended a work function on the 14th (top?) floor. The apitizers and drinks before dinner were good. The large dining room had wonderful view and the dinner and service were great. The staff did a wonderful job.
Great location to DC monuments and nicely furnished room. A great hotel and amazing price!
Deserves a 0. Low class, sleazy, dirty, noisy, poor customer service. You get what you pay for.
Radiation over allowed limits. I stayed one night on the north side of Holiday Inn Rosslyn towards Marriott. I always take my FR meter to measure the radiation levels and I was shocked of the readings. I got up to 27mW/m2 and was constantly 5-6mW/m2. I could not find anything in the room that explained those levels. Next morning at daylight I saw the cellphone antennas on the Marriott hotel across the street. Not their fault that Marriott has the antennas on their roof but at least they should have some curtains that block RF. I am not ready to die of cancer yet. Now, I do not even want o know what the radiation levels are on the top flor at Marriott.
The top floor ballroom/area has a great view. The garage is easy parking. My company has had events there for the past few years. The appetizers are always great. The lunch is usually lacklustre, but that not unexpected. Could also be the price point of my company. Clean and spacious. Staff is very attentive.
I was only here briefly (checked in late, left early). The lobby was nice and checkin was efficient. Best floor hallways could use updating, the gray theme was kind of depressing. Room was nice and clean tho, but nothing spectacular. I didn't get a chance to visit the executive lounge for breakfast.
Nice staff, but then Tire Hotel feels decades older than it should be and is poorly maintained. Some areas are nice me updated, but it was lipstick on a pig. Probably time to tear down the building and create a new shiny Hotel. It does have great proximity to Georgetown and wonderful views.
Very adequate hotel that features a Great location If you need to be in that Area. I like it.
Everything was old and outdated. It all looked like some sort of strange amusement park that had been converted into a hotel. The only redeeming quality for the hotel was the great views. The price doesn't match the value.
Nice location, with walking trails and restaurants close by. The 3Y bus takes you from downtown to the driveway of the hotel or the metro stop is close by as well. The onsite restaurant is reasonably priced and the room was quiet and the bed comfortable.
The key is in a great location. Easy access to places to eat and all the cites. The metro is a short walk away from the hotel. The rooms are a little dated but clean and the staff are helpful.
I went to Connexions to meet some one, I asked for a cup of coffee. The male waiter told me to get coffee from the snack bar. Now he saw me come in walking with a cane, but I said OK. Two minutes later after I got my coffee and sat down, two ladies sat down one ordered decaf and the other regular, different waitress but she made two pots. The waiter made eye contact with me and knew I was peeved but didn't make any attempts to correct.
Visited Key Bridge Marriott to pick up a car from the Hertz inside the building. Spoke with front desk staff, very polite and professional. Building was very pleasant on the inside.
Great service and great view from the restaurant on top.
Pretty good hotel. Nice location, clean rooms, affordable price. The breakfast is great the parking is free with the room. The wifi sucks, our neighbors were throwing a party and the management didn't do anything about it until we called the third time, but other than that I really can't complain. I'd stay here again
Great hotel. I stayed just for one night and didn't really get to experience all of it's features, but for some reason I couldn't connect to the internet net with my cell phone
Not horrible but I would choose another place next time.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, stayed on 8th floor facing the pool and it was quiet (other than the planes practically flying on the roof, which was tolerable to me)
Found a beer bottle cap and hair clip from previous guests on the floor of the room which means it wasn t cleaned very well. There were fruit flies in the room as well... we had no food so I m not sure where they came from.
No fan in the bathroom which made it turn into a sauna... miserably hot in a very small bathroom. Not enough towels at check in, had to request more. The water gets EXTREMELY hot! Don t let children adjust the temp without checking it first!
The windows in the room were always fogged between the glass. The rooms are very small.
The hotel looks updated to a point... budget fix up.. paint over wallpaper, odd tile combos, furniture squeezed into spaces where it really doesn t fit. Some areas look old.
It wasn t the worst but it felt more like a motel 8 than a Marriott.
The location was nice, short walk to many restaurants, offices, Georgetown, and metro. I d rather stay on the other side of The road where everything is literally steps away without crossing Lee Hwy.
Parking garage ($25/day) with good clearance for our large truck.
Great hotel, very comfortable, nice staff, hot tub, and bed. Breakfast, parking and wifi are all not included though.
We had a great stay at the Key Bridge Marriott last year. We spent the night here on New Year s Eve so we could explore D.C. and have dinner before flying out the next morning. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. We had a little mixup during the reservation process and they accidentally booked 2 rooms with king beds instead of doubles. The front desk was able to switch our rooms without any issues, even though the hotel was completely booked up!! I was a very happy Gold Elite Member! Thank you to the team at Key Bridge Marriott for a great stay!
Horrible! I spent a week in the hotel and returned home with back pain. The beds, awful. No shower caps in the bathroom. No complimentary water
The rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly. The meeting rooms could have better AC.
The room was nice with a great view. People were helpful. Classy place.
Room good but only 2 breakfast included when we had 4 people.
Worst Marriott hotel ever booked. Room is smaller than other Marriott I stayed, never see smiles on stuff's face and had a dispute over parking.
I booked the hotel for my parents, after dropped them off, the front desk guy told me I can park at the garage. The parking garage shows it is free of charge for 20 minutes parking, so I left within 20 minutes. For the second night, I didn't even enter the garage. When I got the bill, I was charged 19 dollars for EACH night parking.
However, that was not the worst thing. I made several calls, the first lady simply told me they charge EVERY guest 19 dollars for parking! She made me thought I am an idiot. the second gentleman provided more information and explained when I entered the garage, there is a flat rate of 19 dollars for each night. This obviously contradicts with the price indicated at the entrance of the garage, not to mention I didn't go to the garage for the second night. He forwarded my call to audit department but there is no answer.
I liked Marriott very much and I even bought a pillow from one Marriott hotel. but the experience with this Marriott ruins everything. I can't believe that Marriott has such a buggy system which charges parking for every night when enters the garage once. Special thanks goes to the lady who told me they charge every guest 19 dollars for parking no matter whether the guest has a car or not.
I had the best experience here at the Key Bridge Marriott. I was there yesterday celebrating my son's 5th birthday. We decided to stay there for the pool and affordability and that was a great decision as we had an awesome time. They put me in the best room with a lovely view of the river, Georgetown and the bridge. It was so beautiful. The people at the front desk were very welcoming and nice. I really enjoyed the heated whirl pool and my three children loved the indoor pool. We did not want to leave. The lifeguards were professional and took pictures for me. I really appreciate that. In the morning, we had the breakfast buffet and the children ate free. The waitress and all the staff their surprised me and my family by bringing out a slice of cake with a lite candle singing happy birthday. They also signed a card and gave my son two gifts all with my son's name written all over it. So, the whole time we were eating the very delicious buffet they were organizing my son a birthday party. My son had the biggest smile ever. I even teared up a little. I did know that there was such nice people in the world that would go all out for us complete strangers and treat us like family. I was so amazed. Thank you Aster, Hagara, Leslie, Corean, Nur, Beza, Kumor, Puma , the revival team, the professional hostess, their nice manager that came out many times to check on us. Key Bridge Marriott definitely exceeded my needs. I will return and I will refer this hotel to friends & family.
Awesome location, very clean and comfortable rooms.
Just had a day long meeting at one of hotel's meeting room. The food was amazingly good, in both selection and quality. The only unpleasant thing was the air conditioner was set to such a cold temperature that I was cold all day inside while the weather was awesome hot outside. The cold air is good but that was just way too cold.
The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is the customer service was great. The rooms are very over priced. Very disappointed in this Marriott. I thought it was in possible to ever get a bad room at a Marriott.
Excellent place.. Really close to major tourist attractions in Washington DC
Room was acceptable, clean and comfortable. The view was nice but nothing extravagant. Just a simple stay in and out.
We we're shocked this was a Marriott property! My husband is a Marriott Rewards Member so we always stay in their hotels and have always been pleased. The Key Bridge was unpleasant & uncomfortable. The drapes were stained and had cigarette holes! The bottom of the toilet was rusted. The pillows went flat as soon as you put your head on them. We would have left but it was too inconvenient to move to a different hotel for a 2 stay. They poorly painted over bad walls. It was just unpleasant. The highlight was Mandzi at the bar. She was very nice. They also have a nice breakfast buffet and most of the staff were friendly.
Loved it. The rooms were clean, the staff very helpful, and the views were awesome. Thanks so much to Selina. She checked us in and when she heard we were celebrating our 25 th wedding anniversary she sent us up a gift basket.
Fantastic location. A bit dated, still has a shoe buffer in the room for example. Concierge is helpful, which you need because the directional signs for the conference room locations are non existent. They simply aren't there, just find a staff member, they generally know and are helpful.
There is amazing service. The people are nice, and the hotel is also pretty! Would come again for another short stay.
Parking is expensive , rude receptionist Keisha , bad management , talked to the manager Patrick and he didn't know what to do! And also found a bed bug! I just changed the room that night and left the hotel.
Excited to stay at Key Bridge Marriott in DC but it felt like a cheap hotel.
Nearly every hotel has a shuttle to the airport, to the national mall, and\or union station this Marriott has none and was pointed to take a taxied outside. Free wi/fi ..only if you like working in the lobby,$13 bucks to connect to a slow network in your room. They have two locations to take an elevator and seems like it takes 5 minutes each time you call for the elevator to reach your floor . I do have to admit that the lobby does look renovated but the rooms look like my grandmothers house from 1985. The furniture looks old and outdated it desperately needs to be well cleaned ,the bathrooms look even worse. This hotel is not a Marriott but a cheap hotel with a famous name. My next trip to this area I will stay at the Sheraton in pentagon city.
Nice hotel. Good location. Great value compared to other nearby options.
A good hotel in a convenient locarion. It's close to Washington National Airport and close to highways. Also, it is less than a 10 minute walk across the Key Bridge to Georgetown, which makes it a very convenient place to stay for that part of DC, and much cheaper that staying in Georgetown and the surrounding areas of DC.
Dirty, disgusting, horrid smells. Staff is rude and very unprofessional.
Older hotel but great views, easy access to Metro and exercise trails. Indoor and outdoor pool. Exercise area in basement.
Hard to get up and down the elevators because of placement in the building other than that decent experience
Hotel was nice, rooms were alright, beds not great, pillows to soft. Pool was nice, hotel staff were very friendly. Went the restaurant inside the hotel called Connexion both nights i stayed there, the food was actually really good, probably the best hotel restaurant I've been to in a while, had a burger and fries the first night and Reuben sandwich the second night. Only negative was the parking, $25 a night was a little steep. Good location close to a Metro station.
Friendly staff, good food, great location close to Georgetown neighborhood in DC, easy access to the DC metropolitan subway station, beautiful views of the river and national monuments and skyline of city.
Great room very comfortable and the staff was great.
It is a nice place, but not for the price you pay. I understand that everything this close to D.C. is expensive, I just wanted more for over $400 a night. The staff was nice and the location was great.
Check in given wrong room. Loud noises airplanes-refrigerator-walls thin loud lounge bar 1 wash machine parking crazy $25a day!No free breakfast price should be $99 a night no more a strange lady knitting in hall all night.twilight zone... weird &room small mattress too soft
The view of the river. Plus upscale. Parking too expensive though
This place is in a GREAT location! Nice hotel for a great price. We loved it and will be back!
Dated but nice hotel. Within walking distance to the metro.
Excellent location, and service
View of Georgetown University from 12th floor elite lounge
The security detail there is woefully poorly trained.
After my wife was felt up by a drunken old man at a wedding there, they were primarily concerned with escorting me off the premises because I was upset by it, instead if actually trying to find the perpetrator & making sure he didn't do it again.
As you might imagine, this escalated matters and might have been worse until a federal prosecutor friend of mine intervened and got them to do their jobs.
As it was, they still followed my wife and I around the hotel until we left, like we were the problem.
Don't have your event there. They're not equipped to handle it.
Nice enough to stay in. No microwave in the room and the tub is uncomfortable. No complimentary breakfast either.
The staff and service was great! Our internet tv did not work the entire trip which was a downer but the staff did everything they could to accommodate. They even switched our room! However it looked like another issue than the room tv, probably the internet. Breakfast was also delicious and a change up from the regular Marriott with omelet to order. A quick 15 minute walk from Georgetown area so we enjoyed visiting frequently. But a little far if you are trying to go sightseeing in dc. So overall - great service but could spruce up on the amenities a tad!
The staff at the Key Bridge Marriott were very nice and professional. I had a great stay and would recommend it to others. The only problem that occurred, was a false fire alarm, but they couldn't have changed that.
This hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the minute you step in it's like paradise. We had the pleasure of being "Elite Members" for our stay, which included benefits such as free breakfast in the mornings, complementary beverages from the concierge lounge all day, and high-speed internet in the rooms. All of the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, from the front desk to the servers to the maids.
The bed was just soft enough to be the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept on, and the shower had great water pressure. Room sizes vary from small to large but even the small room we stayed in was very cozy. Our view looked out upon the Washington Monument.
The location is amazingly convenient. A short walk can take you either to the beautiful and popular Georgetown, or the Rosslyn Metro station, from which you can ride to the airport or National Mall amongst many other destinations.
Overall, if you can afford the price point, I highly recommend the Key Bridge Marriott. We had a fantastic experience!
The people were awesome and the amenities are hard to beat. The fitness center is pretty good, but it did freak me out when a giant bug (roach?) crawled out of the wall and onto my workout mat.
Nice place, not easy to get to for the Washington visitor without a vehicle. Food options in the immediate area are limited (none) if the restaurant is closed while you visit.
Best Spaghetti & Meatballs I've had in a loooong time! Absolutely delicious!
One of my favorite places to stay. Close to Georgetown and my home office in Arlington. First time in 30 years of traveling, problem with Marriott Reservation. Vidi took care of it. Excellent employee. Also another hard working employee in concerige is Angela. Rooms have been upgraded as well as the entire hotel with the exception of the pool and health club. Great place. Free Wifi in lobby and not in my room is my only wish for improvement.
Serves the purpose. Not very nice location or nice hotel though.
