I am speaking on behalf of my mother. Making funeral arrangements for your love one is never easy. On the passing of my uncle, my mother s brother. Lincoln Heritage dit their part in timely manner. There were definitely no stresses from their end during my uncle funeral arrangements and home going service. Thank you Lincoln Heritage.

Please shop around before deciding to go with Lincoln they are very expensive..AIG is lower and better

As of August of this year I have been in the Final Expense market for 44 years. I have worked for many companies in that time span. Many of them are no longer in the Final Expense market. I have represented Lincoln Heritage Life Ins. for many of those years and also write for other companies. In that 44 years I have never seen better service to customers or me as an agent than Lincoln Heritage offers. When I do finally retire it will be from Lincoln Heritage, thank you for your great service and product.

I only went on your sight to get a quote. Next thing i know a rep from the company was knocking on my door. I was at work , my husband was home entertaining many relatives due to a death in the family. The woman who came was not swayed by that. All she could think about was making a sale. I told her i had no idea she was coming and i was at work and wanted to sit down with her to talk about it. She asked me for my check because she already had my husbands info. I gave it to her just to get her off the phone. I told her not to cash the check until we talk. Monday came , she cashed the check. I cancelled them. They seem very very shady. .The rep never made an appt, she was only interested in one thing

Their agent came to our home and presented himself as truthful and thorough. We told him up front my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, he even met and spoke to her. He flat out told us not to lost any illnesses she was not on medication for. We'd never had to do this before so we trusted him to be honest in the information he gave us.
After my grandmother passed they refused to pay the full policy since she had dementia more than 2yrs before she applied for coverage.
Thank God she had a 2nd policy she'd started years before she was diagnosed that paid off her funeral expenses so as her legal guardian and POA we were only left with medical bills Medicare didn't cover.
This company is represented by frauds who are on my interested in their sales commission. If you choose to use them, don't believe a word the sales rep says and speak to customer service yourself

Through the death of my mother, I learned about Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company. I appreciate their compassionate and responsive handling of my mother s life insurance policy. It was such a blessing and a surprise to have received this gift in the mail with very little effort on my part. My mother passed away a little over 2 weeks away and I just received the remainder of her policy. The policy was filed via the funeral home and their expenses were covered. Very quick turn around on pay out and the letter inside was very sincere and actually said, "their prayer was for me to have strength during this time of loss". !!URGENT!! Please read before ever even considering this company for yourself and/or your loved ones!! It has been less than 48hrs since my 64 year old mother passed away after losing a very rapid battle with cancer. It was very fast, within 4 months of discovering the cancer it spread to a point were mom was not able to competently make decisions, and with that the ability to call and change things on such things as accounts.. like life insurance premiums that are automatically taken out of a bank account. The trips, the hospital runs, the quick down hill slide that took my mother stopped any hopes of a POA in order to save her accounts because there was simply no time. My mother paid $32 and change for a mere $3,000 policy as extra for her grandchildren for when the time came to ensure there would be something left for them after costs. The nursing home started intercepting her check from the bank, which left those autodraws to overdraw, and in turn miss a whole 2 payments totaling roughly about $65 dollars. It was told to us at the time that if anything happened she would at the very least receive the money she had paid in instead of the $3,000 face value of the policy, nothing was ever stated that a mere $65 or even one missed payment could stop everything. My mother and myself were both put in positions where we could not touch or change anything on the account without it being any fault of hers nor my own. I was met with simply "you could have called and paid the bill." However, there is a complete list of validated reasons that I could not possibly pay the bill with the first and foremost being that the company WOULD NOT talk to me until today because.. simply put I am not on the policy. They say that they will take payment from anyone... however, I was able to pay.. willing to pay... never notified as beneficiary or kin or even as a healthcare POA that any funds were even over due until notified by the funeral home that Lincoln Heritage refused to uphold their end because of the $65 lapse and the fact they were only notifying my, at the time, non competent mother. My mother never missed a payment for, at the very least, a year of her life she may have had the policy until she was ravaged by this cancer. With all this being said, I was literally shut down by Lincoln Heritage, and I feel that they robbed my mom since the day they showed up on our doorstep. My mother also had another policy through a different company, that she had bought roughly around the same time period but it was a little larger of a policy. The same thing happened with that company, and after explaining the situation they told me, no worries... even if her policy had truly lapsed we would have found someway to help you in any way we could find possible. She said, that is what life insurance is for... to help those we leave behind, and to make the processes easier on those we leave behind so they can focus on grieving rather than trying to figure out how to respect our loved ones wishes with no means to do so. That is what a real life insurance company SHOULD be like, and it is because of them and them alone I will be able to give my mother the peace she wanted after her passing, but thanks to Lincoln Heritage my mother will not be able to leave anything for her grand daughters like she had hoped to after discovering the cancer had returned. Also, I would like to mention the fact that Lincoln Heritage said that they had sent notices to my mother, which never actually came, however today as all of this unfolded I did receive a policy holders update, warning my mother that she may not have enough coverage through them and should buy more... not once did I ever receive a bill, an insufficient funds notice, nothing until today and it was simply to get more money. They actually quite a few times made reference in some form to the fact that if I had just paid the bill... well thanks for the blame on top of everything Lincoln... losing my mother was not enough I suppose... I wish I could leave no stars.. but I am speaking out 2 hopefully save others.

My dad died 12/25/2018 may he rip. Filed claim got paid fast no hassle which lessened the emotional burden so I'm very thankfull. Cashed on check fine no problems. Didn't notice there was an expiration date on the other check 60 days but I dropped by the office to get a new one. Great customer service from the pretty receptionist and speedy and great customer service from the gentleman whom helped me get a new check. Ounce again in the name of my father and I thank you. Very much.

It s a private-owned company. No company is perfect, but when something goes wrong they try their best to fix it. There are shady life Insurance companies out there that don t care enough about their clients, not Lincoln. They care enough to try to work with you to figure it out. Big Insurance Companies with lots of money won t try their best to help their customers bc they only care about how the numbers look for their shareholders. Being a private company, Lincoln actually cares for individuals. Sometimes there are miscommunications with clients and agents, but that will always happen when dealing with many people on a daily basis. Just know this company has your back and will try to help you the best they can.

Everyone was very helpful in getting the ball rolling and assisting after the passing of our Mother. When one policy had not been enforce long enough, Lincoln Heritage worked diligently to process the claim in a very timely manner.

Well I guess the commercials get you when you're dad happens to be at that cut off age where you can buy insurance for your loved one. Well thanks be to God he is still alive 10 years later. But of course you all know the older you are the more you pay. Well you would think someone would call and say you're paying way past the amount of the life insurance policy what do you want to do oh, well just in case you didn't know you only get 20% of your money and they keep the rest. Well I'll let us do the math if you pay $200 a month and you've been paying it for 10 years you could have paid for a $10,000 policy twice over. So technically it's only worth $4,000 now so you can't even cash out because you won't get your full $10,000. So don't be a fool choose another company and ask more detail questions how much of your money is actually going towards the policy instead of funding this so-called small business that's making millions off of people. And I hope I don't get any trouble from them as they are saying you get your money the next day after they receive the death certificate of your loved one. Feeling really cheated out of this company and paying towards the economy as I'm paying their salary.

Me and my husband purchased 2 polices in Feb 2020 I think it was. We answered the questions truthfully. Are health was pretty good. Whatever we had wrong with us, we told them on the questionnaire we filled out. A few months later out of no where.. my poor husband was stricken with a severe infection that took his life in 7-2020. We had no ideal that he would die. . Lincoln contacted all of my husbands doctors to verify all that we had stated was true. They were satisfied with the results, and sent me a check for the full amount. I can not began to tell you what a peace of mind that Lincoln had given me. I am an 62 year old widow woman now, with almost no income. By them keeping their word, to me, it has truly been a blessing. And I also have policy with Lincoln and will continue to do so. I plan to increase my burial amount as it seems prices on everything around us are going up in the world.. I would recommend Lincoln Heritage

When my mom died, I contact Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Co. to cash in a small policy she had. My initial was prompt. I wasn't on hold on the telephone a long time. They told me what to submit. One of those document was an original death certificate.

I wasn't able to provide the information right away because the death certificate had an error that had to be corrected. In the mean time Lincoln was gracious enough to followup with me with a written letter which reminded me of the proofs I needed.

When I got the corrected death certificate, I mail it to Lincoln right a way. I received a check within a week of that mailing and the return of the death certificate I had forwarded.

Lincoln gave me top notch service. They showed compassion in their communication with me and they were thorough, prompt, and professional in closing out the policy my mom had with them.

You made this very easy for me during a difficult time. Thank you.

Lincoln Heritage was quick and efficient with processing my mother's death claim. It was completed in about two weeks. To put it into perspective for you, the other company I am dealing with, still hasn't even provided me a claim form to fill out and it's been almost two months. Lincoln Heritage has been a great company to work with. I had no problem when Mama was no longer able to handle her own finances and I became her Power of Attorney. I also had no problem when I moved her bank account to my home town when she moved to be closer to me and I had to change the account where her premium was deducted. Lincoln Heritage is an amazing company. I was really nervous, i read all of the negative comments and thought I would get screwed as well. My mother had a policy that I didn't know about. My mom passed in June of 2019, Lincoln Heritage said all they would need was the death certificate, i faxed the death certificate the same day. The claim was processed and approved the very next day which was a Friday. The check was mailed out the next business day which was on a Monday. I recived the check on Wednesday afternoon. I called them every single day until i recieved that check. Lincoln Heritage answered all of my questions, they were kind and very patient with me in this very difficult time. Thank you Lincoln Heritage.

To be completely honest, I am now an agent for this company. But when my grandmother died they paid my uncle in about 72 hours AND APOLOGIZED FOR THE DELAY. Their Funeral Advantage product (attached at no cost) is an unbelievably great service. This company has the best customer service in the industry. You will not regret doing business with them.

I notified them right after my husband passed away and they quickly and professionally processed the claim. I had my check much sooner than expected and it helped handle some of the final expenses.

Can't write any review about their service because they refuse to open on time. How is it 20-30 minutes after your opening time and your phone message just keeps telling me that you're closed? And then it hangs up! No option to leave a message or request a call back when someone finally decides to come into work. Smdh, do better.

In response to the owner's comment below: According to today's recording, your office opens at 6:30am Mountain Standard Time, I called multiple times between 6:30am & 7:15am Mountain Standard Time but each time, the recording told me your hours and that you were currently closed even though it was well after 6:30am. If you all indeed open at 6am as you and your website states, then there was no one to answer my call until a full 75 minutes after you opened.

My Daddy passed away earlier this month.
I contacted the claims department and after giving the information needed to look up Daddy's policy, the representative told me I could email the information they needed to process my claim.
No forms to fill out and mail back in and absolutely no hassles.

For anyone who has Lincoln Heritage for your Insurance Company make sure you know what's going on with your Policy cause they will not Inform you that CHANGES have been made against your Policy until it's time to PAY YOU FOR YOUR LOVE ONE. BEST TO CHECK YOUR POLICY EVERY 6 MONTHS AND BE ON TOP OF IT. Paying your monthly payment is not covering any changes and you will be owing them if your not careful.

I don't know who you are and how dare you send someone to my front door without my knowledge of any of this. I did not request that you come nor did request anything from you. You gave about my personal information and I am reporting you to the BBB and I called the Attorney General. How presumptuous of your company. I am very angry and I won't let this rest.

Mom and her husband got this accidental insurance they sold to them. Read the fine print so many ways for them to get out of it. She went to cancel and the guy who sold it to her said he would cancel. I just noticed they are still charging her account for both and he just found out he didn't even qualify. His amount was not suppose to be taken out of her account to begin with. They thought it was a regular life insurance they didn't even know they purchased accidental life insurance. These people take advantage of the elderly.

The guy I dealt with was nice & gave his condolences after hearing my mom died. Got the check shortly after sending death certificate.

I bought this policy 10 years ago for my husband who is 20 years my senior. We have a teenage daughter 18 and a pre-teen son who is 11. My husband went into the hospital a day before our wedding anniversary and 10 days later he is dead. At the beginning of the quarantine and he was the first person close to me to die, I had to take care of things I knew nothing about. We didn't pre-plan; but, I knew I had this policy. I had to talk with the funeral home and cemetery. I didn't want to be taken by my emotions; and they want payment before services. I couldn't wait for a death certificate (vital records are swamped with so many people dying so fast). I informed Lincoln Heritage of the death of my husband while I was in the cemetery office. I signed contracts for the assignment with their fees. The personnel at the cemetery commented on how good Lincoln Heritage is, which eased my mind. I never heard anything else from Lincoln Heritage. Everything was covered. I received the death certificate after he was buried for 22 days.

I would like to say Thank you so much to this company and its employees. My mother died suddenly and I had no clue what I was doing. Everyone was so nice and pleasant and I was surprised with how quickly everything was taken care of. Thank you for making this easy.

They are fast to sign you up but if you're having financial issues they will risk losing a customer for life for $52.
A company that prides itself on being a great company because of the way they treat their customers should be a little more customer friendly.

My 90- year-old mother died August 2020. Lincoln Heritage was very prompt in taking care the needs of my love one. Due to their quick response, professionalism, easy-friendly benefits payment, I will be signing up with Lincoln Heritage as my life insurance because I want my family to experience same easy transition. My Mom passed on July 3rd, 2020. I started the paperwork for her policy with a phone call to Lincoln Heritage on Friday July 10th. I received all the requisite forms the following week. I did not receive a Death Certificate until Thursday July 23rd and mailed all back Monday July 27th. I received a check on August 3rd.
From the beginning, the staff of Lincoln Heritage was kind and compassionate and efficient. I have nothing but the best to say of the company and its staff.

I hope this establishment starts to train their employees to be respectful in the near future. I had a David Cruz from Albuquerque call my elderly mother to insult her because she wasn t home at the time when he showed up. Maybe if you would ve been courteous and called before showing up, you would have a better outcome. Who drives all the way from Albuquerque to show up to someone s door step unannounced, then calls them to insult them!

My mother bought a policy in 1982 and forgotten about it. She just recently passed away and via email I contacted Lincoln without any policy information, just the name of my mother. Surprisingly they located the policy and paid off within a few days. It is a trust and responsible company.

If i could rate them 0 I would. Liars who are running a big scam. People save your money vs. paying to this company.

As a licensed insurance agent I have met people that have a policy with this company. After reviewing their policy it's obvious that the consumer is overcharged immensely for less options but 'guaranteed' an immediate benefit. When you have a medical issue and are told you will have a 2 year waiting period before a full benefit, this company is willing to cover the consumer immediately but at a much higher rate. When factored in, they pay much more in premiums over this 2 year period and the life of the policy when they could actually accept the 2 year wait, receive 110% of the premiums during the wait and this will lower their premium savings with an enormous amount of money over the long haul. DON'T fall for this tactic!

I love this company. The payout was immeadiately the next business day as compared to my other colonial penn i have to wait 21 days

Pretty diasppointed that my mothers funeral director had to let us know before the funeral that Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company contacted them to tell them her $4000 Death Benefit would only pay out $3960.37 due to current premium amount of $42.92 due.
Especially when she had been paying the monthly premiums for over 9 years, which equates to over $4600 that she had previously paid toward her $4000 benefit.
Very disappointing.

My mom passed away three months ago and I had to handle everything with the company , and I really had the best experience with them.They helped me with everything regarding a funeral and sent me a check quickly after I sent all the papers from the policy.The agents were very respecful ,helpful, and gave me all the information to do everything easy in this difficult time for me.

This company has sold by Husbands life insurance policy to a non relative which is illegal and unethical. We have tried calling them for years to regain his policy rights however they are uncooperative and will not provide any information. My husbands father purchased the policy for him and when he died the policy went to my husband who in turn signed it over to his mother however they never got the insurance claim took payments from her and now declined offering him any assistance. They will commit a crime blatantly and think the regular laymen can not do anything about it because they are a large insurance company. Well Thank God above for the internet and the ability to find attorneys that will fight for us.
