When my mom died, I contact Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Co. to cash in a small policy she had. My initial was prompt. I wasn't on hold on the telephone a long time. They told me what to submit. One of those document was an original death certificate.

I wasn't able to provide the information right away because the death certificate had an error that had to be corrected. In the mean time Lincoln was gracious enough to followup with me with a written letter which reminded me of the proofs I needed.

When I got the corrected death certificate, I mail it to Lincoln right a way. I received a check within a week of that mailing and the return of the death certificate I had forwarded.

Lincoln gave me top notch service. They showed compassion in their communication with me and they were thorough, prompt, and professional in closing out the policy my mom had with them.
