Lexus of Maplewood Reviews

After an experience that was beyond horrible at this Lexus location, not only will I never bring my car here again, but I never plan on owning a Lexus vehicle in the future. This location does not provide the service I have come to expect from a luxury brand - I am very disappointed.

The service department portrayed themselves to be arrogant, consisted, and unwilling to work with their customers to provide a positive experience. I'm thankful that I have other luxury brand options in my area to choose from.

Warning: Both Lexus locations in the Twin Cities metro are owned by the same people.

I appreciated the quick, friendly responses to all of my texts. The car was 8 years old but looked brand new.
I know they they took great care of the car, in every way, right up until they delivered it to my door. My son did most of the transaction as he bought the car for me as a gift. This made things a little more complicated, because he lives out of state, but our Sales person, Matt Saunders, clearly walked us through the steps until it was all completed.
I love my beautiful Lexus ES350 and I would highly recommend both Matt and Lexus of Maplewood.

I was shopping online from out of state and emailed the dealer searching for a certain vehicle with specific options. I asked for their best price. The reply I received stated "Do we have to discount the vehicle 1000, 2000, or 3000 to earn your business?" I asked for the discount in the email and was refused. I would prefer the straight answers, not the come on.

Great experience. Sara kept me in mind after many months and when the right car came along, she let me know first thing the day it arrived. I picked up the car the same day.

I brought my lexus in for some recall work and was greeted by Paula in the service area. She was very pleasant and even had a sense of humor! I was shocked when I picked up my car as they had washed it and filled the gas tank! They also gave me a free loaner of my choice so I took a 2017 lexus rc coupe! My total out of pocket was zero dollars! This is top notch service!

Great service from Baird. He is a very knowledgeable service rep. Helpful and smart. I really enjoy working with him.

I have been very disappointed with my experience. I have had my vehicle in for regular maintenance twice now. I was quoted an hour on the first service and a hour and a half on my service today. Both ran at least half an hour over the quoted time.

Very friendly good customer service. Was able to book my appointment 1 day in advance.

The access panel to the skid plate was loose. They indicated they re-secured it. In reality they removed it completely. A missing access panel to the skid plate isn't likely to leave me stranded on the side of the road. However, it's the misleading information. I have much less confidence in them now.

I am very happy with the customer service I received from the entire staff! I met the Sales Manager Kit at the car show and he instantly listened to me and I was in the showroom the next day! Kit had me work with Sara in sales and she was wonderful! She is very knowledgable and understood I wanted to be back in a Lexus from my BMW. When the numbers were close The General Manager Matt got involved to give me a fair trade in value for my BMW. He knew I wanted to be back in a Lexus and he helped to make it happen. The combination of Kit listening to me and knowing what I wanted and making the numbers work, to Matt giving me a fair trade in value, to Sara taking me on my test drive was all a fabulous experience. I HIGHLY recommend Lexus of Maplewood!

Noah was very courteous and professional. We had made an appointment & thought we were going to pick up a loaner, only to find out that Lexus of Maplewood does not do body work. We were not too happy about that.

I emailed about a car on Thursday. We had an agreement, paperwork done, financing complete and the car delivered to me 40 miles away within 4 hours. First class transaction from start to finish.

i dont even own a lexus but i still bring my infiniti there for the oil change maitenance. The service is good and it is one of the nicest car dealerships around. Service may take some time but it is not a bother because the place is tailored to you, its like being at home. They feed you well and provide comfortable movie style seating in front of a 50 inch flatscreen, even a play area for the kids.

The service department always does an excellent job. They are timely, complete and courteous. We have had a Lexus since the first SC came out and will hopefully have many more.

Greg Carlini was great to work with - we got all of our questions answered in a timely fashion and the customer service was great - we never felt pressured and the entire staff went out of their way to take care of us

Brandon was amazing to work with. My wife and I went into Lexus of Maplewood about a year before we actually got are Lexus. We are consultants with R+F Rodan + Fields, and we were running for Lexus earners. The whole time while going for it we talked with Brandon and learned a lot about Lexus and was able to to keep in touch with him. Once we earned are Lexus Brandon did whatever was needed to get us through the process and get us in are Beautiful LX570!!!

I m always impressed with how I m treated and how clean the waiting room is. There s plenty of things to read but also areas to work quietly or watch tv. Also, the coffee and goodies are great. Oh, and they do great service and quickly too!

Was charged more than quoted and expected to pay for something I didnt ask for.

The $160 diagnostic fee seems like it s really high. Figuring out what was wrong took 2hours. The repair was done in 45 minutes.

The staff are very helpful and good at their job. They did a great job taking care of my car.

All of the staff that we came into contact with were 5+ stars, 4 involved in the transaction and even a few who were not directly involved made sure we were very well taken care of! I was sent an appointment reminder that stated 5k miles or 6 months.
Vehicle had 2440 miles on it. I was given the impression that I was in early even though the reminder stated 5 k miles or 6 months. I was at 6 months so I went in.
Would have liked more clarity before going to the appointment.

I was very disappointed in the service departments lack of communication. Especially, when I believe in the "Lexus experience" and paying for what you get. I was sad to learn that when I drove from St. Louis Park all the way to Maplewood to learn they didn't have the tire I needed, even though I called ahead of time and made an appointment. When I was there I was told my tire would be in, in 2 days. When I called the day of to confirm my appointment they didn't even have me scheduled and had to double check to see if my tire was even there on the day they said it would be. I would've given 2 stars but, because its Lexus and the wayzata dealership has been so good to me I decided to give it 3.

After researching our top 3 choices for a new vehicle, my wife and I decided on the Lexus GX 460. During our review of customer ratings on the Minneapolis dealers the name Clint Gage sales associate at the Lexus Maplewood dealership - reoccurred several times with outstanding ratings. We visited the Maplewood Lexus store specifically to meet and talk with Clint. His professionalism, communication, patience with a litany of questions, and in particular his listening skills exceeded our expectations. From the initial phone call to set a time to meet with Clint to selecting a model with the options we wanted, negotiating the purchase price and closing the transaction. In addition to Clint the entire Maplewood team was terrific. If you are in the market for a Lexus, my wife and I would highly recommend you work with Clint Gage and the team at Lexus of Maplewood.

Yesterday, I had recall service and full synthetic oil change done on Lexus IS 350. I was provided a free 2018 Lexus loaner, and work was completed a day sooner then expected. My car was professionally repaired with a complementary gasoline top off, vacuum, and wash. Price was fair, comporable to dealer rates. I highly recommend!

I traded my CT200h and bought new RX450h with Mitch Chang. He showed many cars to meet my expectations for the colors of interior and exterior. Obviously it was very time consuming work. Thanks Mitch. Moreover, I was very impressed when I went to pick up my new car because I purchased a protection film that covers only half of the hood but the entire hood was covered. It was the customer satisfaction itself!!

We had a great experience purchasing a new car from Greg Carlini. We live several hours away and Greg had everything ready when we arrived to look at a few Lexus vehicles and the staff was able to take care of everything and get us on our way in a great new Lexus in a few hours. bought a used car and 4 days later it made a horrible grinding noise. Took it my trusted mechanic who said the wheel hub was bad and was not safe to drive. Lexus of Maplewood initially refused to fix it but I sent an email to the general manager who agreed to take care of it. We settled on a dollar amount I thought was fair. The car buying experience was good. The follow up was not as good but they were willing to work with me so overall I would buy again if need be.

My vehicle purchase went smoothly from start to finish. My salesperson, Blong, was very knowlegible of vehicles Lexus had available, the vehicle features and helped me decide which vehicle would work best for my needs. I was able to negotiate pricing, and the accounting department provided me with information on extended warranty and maintainance options to purchase along with my vehicle. Blong was quick to follow up with questions i had during the process. They also have a tech guy, Jakob, available to make sure you know the advanced features the vehicles have, and how to operate them. I would highly recommend Maplewood Lexus for your vehicle purchase!

Matt was great!!! I knew exactly what I wanted to purchase and I absolutely loathe the pushy salesman act and he was not like that at all. He was genuine and helpful and to the point. We made the deal within 30 minutes including test drive - Perfect!!

Could not have asked for a better salesperson than Sara at Lexus of Maplewood. She had all the knowledge without being pushy. I was debating between two different makes and she answered questions but did not try to sway me. Sara even came in to work a few hours early just to meet us on our time frame. Can't say enough good things about this experience, and I ended up with the Lexus.
Also want to thank Kevin, the finance manager, for making the finance side easy.
