Andy was excellent. Got a great used van, but feeling like i got over sold on the Xylion interior warrenty. As they said it was "already applied" in the reconditioning process, so was not given the opportunity to take it off. $800 for an insurance product i will most likely never use...Take care when purchasing.
Other than that, facilty is top, and staff very friendly.

Was the best buying experience I've ever had! Clint Gage was very professional and went above and beyond to find me a Lexus that fit my lifestyle and at an awesome price! Would definitely recommend!!
Working with Eric was a very enjoyable and easy-going experience. Eric is extremely knowledgeable and helped me find a car that fit my exact needs. I would highly recommend seeking out Eric @ Lexus of Maplewood if you are looking for a pre-owned car that will fit your family and lifestyle needs!
I ve worked with Sara W. several times occasions and she is always friendly and does a great job helping you understand what the car has and will go to bat on working with you to help get you the best deal. She is alway awesome to work with and makes the car shopping experience every enjoyable
I was pleased with the comprehensive exam, and work accomplished. After being told my car was ready, it took awhile after signing out to be delivered. No problem for me, but it might be for another guest. Thank you!
Worst experience ever!! Do not trust them. Recently promoted Jeremy Mertes (Used Sale Manager) is a snake full of lies. I purchased a Toyota Sequoia from him and I had to dump it and eat $3500 after owning it less than 60 days because of the laundry list of issues. This is after all of his sale lies and eating it on the trade (not included in the $3500 above) for this so called "amazing sequoia that passed all rigorous inspections" "we stand behind it". And when I called him about the issues after driving 60 miles, he didn't bother answer or reply - just ignored me.
Don't buy here.. there are other places with better quality. ----- Response to the dealer reply:
Matt - instead of "initially tried to reach you", how about your team solutions and makes a customer whole. "Trying to reach you" does not quiet get there. It's a lot of talk and not a lot of action. Which is exactly my problem with Jeremy is. All salesman smoke and mirrors. And you promoted that behavior no less to a Sales Manager.
I was hustled into a repair that other mechanics at Lexus dealerships confirmed to me (after I was pressured into doing the service) that it was a non-critical issue. $3500 for a gasket oil leak that apparently is common in Lexus RX and Toyota SUVs.. Lexus of Lindon and Murray in Utah (my home state) both quoted me for a 15 hour job for this repair whereas Maplewood I find out later had over quoted me for a '21 hour job' that cost $800-$1200 more than the other dealerships. From the time I handed over my keys and picked up the car the repair was done in less than 12 hours, but the charge was still 21 hours of labor. Criminal. Called with my complaint and was directed to Tim who said he would follow-up with me in a few days. 3 weeks went by and didn't hear from Tim. When I was finally able to get him on the phone he said "remind me what the problem was?". Wow. Lexus of Murray recommended I send my complaint to corporate which I am in the process of doing. Lexus has suddenly developed an arrogance to charge for service like BMW/Mercedes when their cars over the last decade have lagged behind in both design, performance and gas mileage.
If you are reading this review please do yourself a favor and test drive a Tesla at the Eden Prairie location. It takes 1 minute online to schedule a test drive with a knowledgeable rep. You will be absolutely blown away by the customer service. The quality of those vehicles are outstanding. I'm looking forward to the delivery of my Model 3 in 2 months and not being forced to go to the gas station weekly (saving >$800-1200 a year on fuel) and having the convenience of charging at home, saving $160 a year avoiding two synthetic oil changes as recommended by Lexus, saving $1000 every 3 years not having to replace brakes/rotors (teslas have regenerative braking!), or having to do upkeep/repairs on a mechanical engine with so many potential faulty parts at the Lexus labor rate of $135/hour plus cost of parts. Plus, you can essentially own a Tesla for free for 12 months with the $7500 government subsidy. Oh and it's a lot faster than a $88,000 Lexus GSF (0-60 in 3.5 seconds in the Model 3 compared to 4.5 seconds in the GSF). God bless Elon Musk.
Service team generally very courteous. More problems identified than expected, but they appear to have been legitimate. Cost of the repairs look to be on the high side based on internet research. Going to the same service provider over the years does provide continuity and greater confidence. Turnover of service personnel makes it harder to establish a relationship with a single service rep.
The initial salesperson I spoke with quit, so after several messages to the management team I had Jeremy Mertes call me back. Jeremy gave me a price and after a couple of days he went dark. I called several tines and text his cell phone but they went unanswered. I called the store and got nothing. The communication was horrific. Imagine buying a car and trying to seek help after the sale? I emailed the GM and he brushed me off so I can only imagine how they train their guys.
I just purchased a pre-owned lexus from Dan Haspert at Lexus of Maplewood. I was concerned about the transaction since I live in North Carolina and they clearly are in St. Paul, MN...sorry I guess Maplewood. The professionalism was wonderful, as with everything hic-cups always arise, but they were very supportive when I couldn't make my flight to pick up the car and then they worked directly with the car shipper to deliver the car exactly as promised. I would recommend them to my friends and family based on my experience. Nice to have a good car transaction, feels kinda weird.
We had a great experience purchasing our new Lexus from Lexus of Maplewood. They were very accommodating and thorough. I highly recommend that dealership!
From the moment I got there I felt welcomed and everyone was very friendly. The selection was outstanding and they did a great job of explaining my financing options. Before I left with my new car, the technician went through all of the vehicles operations with me and made sure I was comfortable with it.
This was my first time buying a higher end car. I did buy an used Lexus but it's new to me so I am excited! My sales consultant Jon made me enjoy the experience and didn't care once that I wasn't buying new. The dealership is so nice and what I expected from a luxury car dealership.
Purchased my first Lexus a few weeks ago. Everyone was super kind and helpful, especially my salesperson, Andy Solomonson. The entire process was not only seamless, but the team made it fun! Highly recommend working with Andy and team!
I worked with Andy S for buying my new car. I didn't know what I wanted and Andy answered all my questions! I didn't think I was going to find the perfect car for me but Andy found it! I will be buying all cars from Andy from now on!
If I could give this dealership zero stars, I most certainly would. I had attempted to lease a new Lexus about two weeks ago. Background information: I came in prepared knowing the trade-in value of my vehicle, market value of what the dealership could sell my vehicle for, the exact vehicle I wanted to lease, and had a quote from another dealership in town for the lease price. After a crummy experience at the other dealership in town, I came to Maplewood in hopes they would be much kinder.
Upon arrival, no one wanted to assist me as they were all "busy," yet stood around the entire time I was being helped. When I was assisted, the salesman helping got straight to the numbers (which I did appreciate since my time is valuable). However, upon presenting the price of what my lease would be, I asked a few questions of negotiation regarding my trade in value of my vehicle (something I do know I am able to negotiate). Once again, coming in prepared, I knew that I could get a better deal at a different dealership. When trying to negotiate, I kept getting pushback from the salesman. I was told verbatim: "why would we negotiate with you when I can sell it at full price." I was also told verbatim: "when it comes down to negotiating $50 to $100 per month on the lease price, really it is up to you to make a decision. There's not much wiggle room for us." I was also told that my trade in value that I had been presented with at 8-9 different dealerships across the metro was inflated (yet it was the same value at all of these dealerships) and Maplewood's trade-in value was what my vehicle is worth.
Today, I received a call from the dealership again ready to negotiate and make a deal. In my opinion, the readiness to make a deal should be when the customer walks in. Your dealership is looking to earn MY business; not the other way around. I was a free sale. I walked in knowing I wanted to buy a car. I was treated with complete disrespect. I was also treated as if I couldn't afford the vehicle, with snide remarks regarding the lease price.
Along with that, I was told that if the dealership was to do any other deal than the one they presented me then they would be taking a loss. False. The prices are inflated enough that as soon as you drive the vehicle off the lot, the value of the vehicle decreases significantly putting the buyer under water with depreciation. So the dealership is well aware of what their margins are, and that is something that can be negotiated.
I would never do business with this dealership or Lexus at this point. Lexus corporate has been contacted regarding this matter and is working with me to resolve it.
Went into question a tech issue. No one available and was told I needed $269 to update GPS system with no alternatives. Outrageous charge and smugness.
Dan Oanes provides excellent customer service. He is professional, attentive, engaging and enhances the sales experience. He makes himself readily available to his clients. He is truly an asset to Lexus of Maplewood.
Lexus Maplewood has left my first experience with satisfaction & glee. They have exceptional customer service upon arrival & departure. They get right to the point & helped answer any questions or concerns I had, in a timely manner & made me feel good about my decisions none of that beating around the bush mess. I probably can t go to another Lexus dealership for any problems. Thank you Lexus Maplewood!
Always a great experience! Michael Mullen was great to work with today and always is!
Thanks for your service and smiles, happy new year!
Update 11/2020
Thomas has been the most spectacular to work with! He always goes above and beyond and always places his customers needs first. I ve always been so well taken care of here and his customer service is top notch!
Mike again is always so happy and welcomes his guests warmly.
Kevin the master tech took me for a spin in my GS350 and I learned a lot. He offered unparalleled knowledge and expertise.
I always feel welcome here thank you, also shout out to Tim Stearns!
Went to Lexus in Maplewood to have my airbags replaced. Micheal Muller was by far the most amazing service advisor. He ensured every question of mine was answered and was very helpful in assisting me with my car repairs. He was very kind and took him time to explain to me every thing that they were doing.
Lori was very friendly and professional as my Service Adviser. She kept me informed and the items that needed to be handled were done on a timely basis.
Our Lexus sales representative was Liz Sampair. From our first visit inquiring about purchasing a Lexus, to our visit picking up our brand new Lexus 350 ES, her sales expertise was excellent. Any questions we had regarding the vehicle, Liz was quick to respond either by phone or email, which we really appreciated. To us, customer service, along with knowledge of the product you are selling, are two of the most important assets a dealership can have. And we so we were lucky to have Liz as our sales rep in our pursuit of a new vehicle.
Great attention to detail. Great dealership. They really care about whether or not their customers are happy. Great service department. My service specialist Michael was super. In fact, I liked him so much that I will be asking for him next time.
I went to Lexus Maplewood looking for an used car. My salesperson Jon went above and beyond to find the car that would be a perfect fit for me. I couldn't be happier with my new vehicle.
I've purchased 3 reliable and quality vehicles from Matt Saunders at Lexus of Maplewood. He is a class act!!! He answers text messages/emails on weekends and his days off. I am in real estate sales and work 24/7. He works around MY schedule! He makes the whole experience effortless. Thanks Matt! I'm a lifelong customer for sure.
Went for regular maintenance, and I showed the agent a piece of plastic dangling from the bottom front of the car and asked him to also have this fixed. He told me the visit will cost around $200, then after 20 min he told me the radiator and rear brakes need to be changed and the cost is $1600. I trusted what they say, and asked him to go ahead. 3 hrs later I was told the car is ready. I looked under the car to find the same dangling piece! The agent, not the mechanic, offered to go under the car and add a clip! I told him I could have done that at home, I need this to be looked at by a professional as I requested before. The manager drove me to the mechanic shop. They raised the car to find out that the entire lower front pad is missing. The mechanic told me someone was changing the oil and forgot to put this back ! I told him I don t go anywhere else to change the oil but here!! The manager placed an order for the missing part. I would not have discovered that without personally going to the shop and look at the undrside of the car. They looked at it on their own and no one brought it to my attention. Also, now that my trust is gone, I asked to see the old radiator. They showed me a group of them telling me that mine is the one on the top. When I asked to see the new installed one, he pointed to something in the engine and said it cannot be seen, so basically one cannot confirm there was a defect in the radiator or that a new one was installed. If there is a major repair with a lot of expenses involved, they should give the owner the choice to go to the shop to see the error results and the actual defect whenever possible. My trust is gone with the wind! I need a site manager to contact me regarding this incident
I have been wanting to find a good used car that is safe for our family and gets good gas mileage. I was lucky to have Andy at Lexus of Maplewood assigned to the task. He he was very friendly and has a no pressure approach to helping his customers. He spent more time listening to what I wanted vs. what he thought would be better. After going through my wish list with Andy he showed me 3 vehicles that were all in my budget and worth driving. We settled on a car and I was in an out in no time. I would recommend Andy to anyone and look forward to purchasing a car from him in the future. My sister is going in to see him on Saturday. Thank you Andy!
