Service department scratched my car and refused to...

Service department scratched my car and refused to fix it. It's basically been radio silence from these guys. I would not trust your car to this service department! And if the service dept can't be trusted, I would not ever recommend buying a car from these guys. You have been warned! Stay away.
I brought in my RX a few weeks ago for routine service to the tune of about $1000. They did a thorough walk around of my car as I dropped it off and noted any little dings and scratches. The service went well and they communicated well. I picked up my car at the end of the day and drove it home. The first thing I noticed after I parked it and got out was a new scratch on the front bumper. The service dept had just closed, so I took it back the next morning. The service manager looked at it and took a pic and the next day my service agent called me back and wanted me to bring it back in "to look at it." I told him that the manager already saw it and took a pic, so he said they'd call me back. Nothing for Over a week.

I called back and after a run around they said there was a "miscommunication" but that he would talk to the manger, decide what to do, and call me back. No call for another week. I guess I have to start threatening. These guys provide horrible service. They admit that the scratch was not noted on the car when I dropped it off, but the "tech says there was no accident." Great. The fact is that my car got scratched while I left it at your service department, so fix it!

She went over the numbers for leasing although there was no guarantee of any purchase. I let her know we wouldn't be ready until October & which was 3 months away & she never hesitated to help us. Received our complimentary 50k service. Service was good. We needed a new cabin air filter, and I said ok. It ended up costing over $80. You can buy a Bosch air filter for $20 on Amazon. I understand Lexus service is a premium, but $60 is just too much.

We were looking for a used car for our son on a conservative budget. Andy found us a 2006 RX330 that was amazing - lower miles and in excellent condition. There was a small dent on the hood but they fixed it for free! Can't even tell it was there! They even came to our house for us to sign all the documents (Covid-19 safe). It was an emotional purchase being it was our son's first car. We feel comfort knowing he is driving a safe car that was well maintained with the backing of Lexus of Maplewood. Everything went according to plan until I drove my car all the way to the grocery store came out and the battery was dead. Battery was fine before I left it at Lexus for a repair. They said they could not do anything for me other than replace the battery and charge me. This left a bad taste for me. They were also more expensive for my repair then other places but I had already told it there so didn't really have a choice.

My wife and I recently purchased a vehicle from Lexus of Maplewood and we could not be more pleased. We initially emailed to inquire and were promptly replied to by Sales Associate Brandon Kachel. He answered all of our questions and invited my wife and I to come out and test drive a few vehicles. It was nice working with Brandon because he was not pushy by any means and I felt he did a great job advising rather than selling. This was a relief compared to other dealerships I had been to while shopping for a new vehicle. Based on my needs and wants he recommended my wife and I test drive the ES 350, IS 250, and RX 350 (all three were amazing and I felt like a kid in a candy store). We ended up going with the RX 350 and couldn't be more pleased. If you are evening thinking about a sedan, make sure to go test drive both the IS and ES and be certain to ask for Brandon. Financing was a breeze to go through, and there lounge area is very nice. Lexus of Maplewood easily gets a 5 Star Rating and I'll certainly be a return customer.

Prior to moving back I contacted Clinton at the dealership to start the process of needing to find a couple of vehicles once we returned. Clinton did a great job finding the perfect cars for us. On the day I purchased there were cars in the building with big red bows ready for delivery. When I went to get mine I had to climb in a snowbank to get it. What they said was "normally you would pick it up in there but we are busy taking photos of cars." What I heard was "We no longer care about you or your experience so we put you way out near the road in a snowbank." We had an appointment to pick up with the technology guy. My husband and I purchased a car from Lexus of Maplewood almost 10 years ago. This was our first time ever buying a car, so we were a bit nervous at first. Luckily, we had the privilege of working with Greg Carlini who from the very beginning made us feel comfortable and helped calm our nerves. Greg was so incredibly friendly, helpful and truly made this experience exciting! Jorge in the finance department also did a great job helping us along the way. Lexus of Maplewood made it very easy to buy a new Lexus! I first spoke to Liz Sampair on the phone prior to coming in and we were able to set up a time for me to stop in to look at the vehicles I was interested in. When I arrived, Liz had the vehicles pulled in to the shop so I could check them both out in comfort! I was able to move through the process fairly quickly and was presented with options to purchase based on my needs and what worked best for me. The entire experience was very positive from start to finish. I definitely recommend Lexus of Maplewood for your car shopping/buying needs.

I can t believe you won t throw in a tire stem cap that probably costs 50 cents. My guess is that it was left off at my last Lexus visit as I never touch them unless I have notification of a low pressure. I noticed my pressure was low a few weeks back so I went to check and noticed the cap missing. Lexus was the last to touch it. This cost you more than it was worth. I would have replaced my hood struts and light bulb that was recommended at a cost of approximately $485 to me. Instead, these items cost approximately $90 total at auto zone and a little bit pf my off time.

In a several month search looking at various car brands and what they had to offer that fit my needs it was the first time in Lexus to take a look. Sara Wienke greeted my husband and I and Sat down to discuss out wants and needs. She was easy to talk to and really listened. She was available for questions via calling or text. She searched out a car that fit our needs and I purchase RX350. I would highly recommend seeing Sara when looking for a new car. She did a great job. The delivery specialist was great too. Going through all options and even came to our home to set the garage openers in our car. I have not had it serviced yet, but I expect the same great experience that I have had so far.

This Lexus Dealership, in particular, has surpassed any expectations i ve imagined in terms of personal service and overall customer care. I brought in my Lexus to their dealership, which mind you I didn t even purchase from them, for a routine manufacture recall. They gave me a free loaner (brand new ES-350), which was unexpected. Also unexpected, they told me to feel free to bring it back when it s convenient for me to do so, because I lived 150 miles from the dealership.

Two days later, when I came back to return the loaner and pick up my own vehicle, the car was spot clean, in and out, plus they also filled up my vehicle with gas, at no charge. That s right, they filled my gas tank, at least a $60 dollar expense, as it was on empty when I had initially brought it in for service. Also, I forgot to mention they kept the dealership open an extra 20 minutes passed closing time, because I was running late to get there. When I arrived they greeted me with smiles on their face and asked how I enjoyed the loaner. Then pulled up my vehicle shook my hand and I was on my way. Everything done free of charge, as well as included a complimentary inspection of items needing service in the near future, sending me with a print out of their full inspection and findings.

Talk about first-rate 5***** service, which is unsurpassed by others, including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc... I will definitely be returning for any and all my future Lexus service needs. Thanks again Maplewood Lexus!

Sales person didnt seem to take me seriously about my interest in purchasing a Lexus. There is "profiling" in all professions. I will have to go all the way to Wayzata even though I live way North of the Twin Cities.

Went here and wanted to test drive a used IS 250. Told this to Dan. He says they don't have anything like that in stock. I ask if they have anything similar. He says no and that I'll have to keep looking at their inventory online. I ask if there's anything he recommends. He says I'm not going to tell you to spend your money.

He's either a great salesman like some of posted or it could be the color of my skin or how I'm dressed.

Also, I looked online and it said there were two in their inventory.

This review is for my Wednesday, November 27, 2019 service appointment and the entire servicing appointment--from start to finish was exceptional. If there were more than five stars available, I would select even more. The primary reasons that I continue to purchase a Lexus automobile is their reliability and the excellence of the service staff that I have worked with at Lexusthrough the years.. Tom Schultz is outstanding. He has a very positive attitude, exceptional knowledge about the functioning of the vehicle, an ability to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely, a very high level of efficiency, consideration for the clients' time and perspective. He is highly professional, skilled at problem solving, and a superb representative of the high level of excellence that Lexus promises.The work was completed promptly, the explanations were cogent and reliable, and the car was immaculate when I picked it up. I am grateful for the level of service that Lexus is able to provide through a talented service representative..

Short story, disappointing experience that I won t be repeating.

When checking in, I asked how long the process would take. The technician advised that someone else will be in touch with me.

I went to the waiting area and received a nice text giving me a contact throughout the process should I have any questions. I sent a text asking what work will be performed and how long it will take. 15 min later, no response. Sent several more texts that remained unanswered.

45 minutes later, I went to the front desk to ask my same questions. The person was curt and explained they thought I was with a sales person and is why no one was communicating with me. She made it sound like she was reticent to bother me. She made no attempts to address my concerns and frustrations but did answer my question on scope and duration of the maintenance work.

I just bought my first Lexus six months ago and this was my first service experience. I will be going to the Minnetonka location for future services.
