We worked with Lance from Larry H. Miller Toyota. Our experience was amazing. He was efficient, thorough and not pushy at all, which is great when buying a car. Lance went above and beyond by taking videos of the car we were interested in and emailed them to us before we made the trek from Heber to his dealership. Lance made our experience the least stressful car buying experience we ve ever had. I would recommend Lance for any future car purchases needed.

Great experience! Jayson Robles is the best sales rep. He worked hard to find the perfect car and financing for me. The document signing experience was simple and fast. I love my Toyota!!!

I brought my car in for an oil change only to discover that it really needed it's 60,000 maintenance done. The service department was courteous, got me right in (without an appointment) and finished the work in an appropriate time frame. I love that they wash your car too!

I was very unhappy with how things were handled when I came and purchased my vehicle. I came in and bought a 2010 Toyota corolla which I love the car but the way I was treated was totally unprofessional in every way possible in my opinion. When I left on 09/07/13 I was happy because I had a running vehicle and my payments were exactly what I wanted. I was told my loan would be through America First Credit Union. Two weeks after I signed the contract and left with my new car I received a letter in the mail from America First Credit Union saying my loan had been denied so I called them and asked what it was regarding they told me a car loan. I then called the dealership left a message for Dennis in financing to call me back because I would like to know who my car loan is going to be through. This was on a Thursday. I didn't hear anything by 3pm on the following Monday so I called again and spoke to someone who said I need to come in to sign a loan application for the company that I had been approved through. I then get there that evening and they tell me that my payments have gone up from 251.15 to 265.01 I then ask them why is it going up the deal was 250 or no car. I was put in a very tight spot give the car that I now love back and go back to juggling one vehicle with my husband or just take the payments of 265.01. They then told me that if I give the car back they would give me my trade in back but that I would have to figure out a way to get it back to my home. Which because it was not running I had already paid for a tow truck to bring it to the dealership and then they were telling me that I would have to pay a tow truck again. So not only were they raising my payment but if I chose to not keep the car then I would have to fork out more money I didn't really have at the time to get my car that doesn't work back. I feel like this dealership didn t really care about me as a customer and they just decide to do what was best for them which was to keep the price of the car the same and raise my payments which is going to have me struggle a little bit financially and the only reason that I kept the car is because me and my husband have really different work schedules and there is no way to juggle one vehicle with those schedules. I feel that as the customer they should have done what we agreed to in the first contract which was 251.15 a month. I feel that this was a very shady thing to do on their part because they put me between a rock and a hard place. I have a 10mth little boy so I really need a dependable vehicle and I would rather make payments on a vehicle that runs versus one that doesn t. I am writing this review a month after the purchase of my vehicle and I just found out that I still have to pay $36.00 to the loan that was for my trade in because they took so long to pay off the loan that interest and late fees had been accrued. I will more than likely never buy a vehicle from them in the future I have had nothing but headache when it comes to this dealership

I couldn't be happier with my recent experience purchasing a vehicle from LHM Toyota in Murray! Harrison, my Salesman, provided comfortable (no pressure) information on the vehicles I was interested in, was careful to help me get the most value for my money, was thorough and creative in getting things to work for my situation, and even went through the different prices and fees with me while we were walking the lot. Harrison also helped me calculate what my monthly payments would be before we went on any test drives, which was extremely helpful in making my decision. The Gentleman who wrapped my sale up (his name escapes me) was also very kind, and I appreciated the no pressure environment while going over the different warranty options. As Harrison was walking me out to my new vehicle, an employee who I assumed to be part of the management, was leaving for the evening and took a moment to thank me for my business (which I found to be quite nice, especially considering the large purchase I had just made).

It was certainly a 10 out of 10 experience!

We came in from Colorado for the holiday and have our 10,000 mile service. They did not change our cabin air filter. We called them and they said it is not due on this service. We looked in our service book to verify.... it was to be changed on this service. We called back and spoke to Levi, he agreed and apologized AND came to us to change it out! Above and beyond thanks to Levi.

Great customer service. Prompt. But I have had a horrible noise coming from my vehicle since I had the brakes done. The inconvenience of having to call and go back a second time is frustrating.

Update: I contacted the service manager and he worked me in right away. Fixed the problem at no cost. Everyone from start to finish was helpful, courteous, and professional. I understand things don t always go according to plan, but this shop made it right promptly and with zero hassle.

Second update: I now have a different loud squeal when I brake. Not always, only if more forceful braking is needed. The brakes work great, just annoying to have a loud noise after two attempts to do what seems like a straightforward brake job.

It was a great experience buying a new car. My salesman Mike T "big chief" was very cool and helpful. When we were negotiating the price, the used car salesman came out and gave us a price we could work with. The financial guy, I can't say many good things about. He did help us out and I appreciate his help, but during the experience I felt very rushed like he didn't want to do service with me. Overall a good experience, but could've been slightly better when we were figuring out the financial work.

Terrible service center. We waited 2 hours for a diagnostic that was sitting on the guys desk. As soon as we asked why it was taking so long we were updated. This is our first visit here and our last. Despite paying for a battery with an 84 month warranty, I d rather go somewhere else and purchase a brand new battery. Not a happy camper!

I ve been working with Mark and the crew at Larry h Miller Toyota in Murray for a little over 3 years now, and I will never go anywhere else. Im not on car number 3, a mini cooper and I m happier than ever: They bend over backwards for me to make sure I am happy with my purchase! I m kind of very picky and once I have my eye on something I don t want anything else and they make sure I get it and taken care of. Hands down the best people to work with! I know I can go to them about anything regarding a vehicle, and they will do whatever it takes to get the best answer or whatever it is I need! I love you guys! Thanks for everything!

Horrible customer service. Sales managers will tell you what you want to hear with no intentions of following through on written commitments in the contract. If you choose to buy a car here, do not take the car off the lot until all items for the car are present. Save yourself months of problems and choose a different dealership.

Feedback on my buying experience: Short story is t...

Feedback on my buying experience: Short story is this was the worst Toyota dealership I have ever been to and the worst buying experience I have ever had.

Long story: I had been looking for a rust-free 1999-2000 4Runner with a manual transmission, and they supposedly had one, but they performed a straight up BAIT AND SWITCH on me. I flew up to Salt Lake City from southern Arizona. Lo and behold when I arrive, I immediately notice a TON of rust on the undercarriage and surface rust on the lift gate. Now I understand completely that this is normal for the salted roads of Utah, but that is why I asked specifically if there was any rust. I was told it was rust free and in great shape for "being sixteen." On another note, it seemed to have quite a few other problems to include (but not limited to) sun-worn seats that were almost crunchy, malfunctioning turn signal, and the clutch pedal needed some serious adjustment. When I brought all of this up, I was verbally accosted by the used car manager and he explicitly stated I should have known the vehicle would have a lot of rust since it was in Utah. I should have walked, no, ran from the dealership at this point.

I did, unfortunately, purchase a vehicle from this dealership, a 2011 4Runner. Although I love the 4Runner and it IS certified pre-owned, it did not appear to be detailed at all except for a light wash of the exterior. The interior had dog hair EVERYWHERE and what I can only assume was many years' worth of dog slobber/mud caked into the back of every seat - it cost me over $200 to have it detailed. I attempted to clean the hair myself, but my vacuum would not extract the hair. I do not know the breed, but it must have been a short-haired variety that has hairs that work themselves into carpet fabric. I am not someone who goes to a detailer for every little thing and am usually very comfortable in performing all levels of cleaning... but this was excessive to say the least. Also, the headlights were very hazy to the point that the low beams had a poor scatter pattern; I had them replaced for approximately $800. Also, the center console had a very deep scratch that was not pointed out to me when I was looking at the vehicle (it was on the passenger side and I could not see it while driving/sitting in the passenger seat) which cost over $100 to replace. The salesman did point out ONE scratch on the bumper that didn't look too bad, but when I later washed the exterior of the car, a lot of scratch concealer (black) came off, and it scratch looked much worse than it did before. Granted, I understand I should have noticed SOME of these problems during the test drive, but I expect more from a Toyota dealership and the condition of a certified pre-owned vehicle... and that they at least thoroughly detail the vehicle, and possibly touch up simple bodywork. My only hope is I receive the title in a timely fashion (other reviews make me not so optimistic)

"we can assure you that here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Murray, we will treat you with honesty, integrity, and respect."

I went into this dealership stating I was a first time buyer wanting to tade in my car. Great they said, we can work with that. We find the car and go about getting it. Reasonable payments, all the paperwork. And then a $150 jack up on the payment price. They tell me once you have proof of insurance for the car you can have it. A few days later after having the price jacked up and my credit checked twice I'm suddenly no longer able to get the car because they didn't know I am a first time buyer. But I had ststed that from the beginning. Great integrity. Real honest. So much respect.

I went in search of Toyota Highlander and Toyota 4Runner. I visited four different dealerships before Larry H Miller Toyota was recommended to me. I had called ahead to see if they had the models I was looking for and I spoke to a wonderful man named Tony. He was SOOO helpful. Not at all pushy, but intent on helping me find what I was looking for. Instead of saying, "Oh, well why don't you try this one? Wait, you don't like it? Why not?", he helped me find WHAT I WANTED. He didn't beat around the bush at all. He was up front, honest and didn't push. I hate that most about a car dealership - The pushing to buy RIGHT THEN. He was absolutely amazing. As it happened, I found the PERFECT 4Runner. Exactly the make, model and year that I wanted. Tony helped me through the process of purchasing the car. He was easy to understand and I never got the slimy feeling from him. He was absolutely amazing. I would certainly recommend Larry H Miller Toyota in Murray to anyone. I am really happy with the experience I had there. Tony was ESPECIALLY wonderful. If you go in, ask for him. He was the best!

While the replacement of my front wheel bearings and alignment was completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner, most of my front lug nuts have been rounded off making it impossible to remove them with a tire iron. That also means they were not finished off with a torque wrench. A sloppy oversight. I'm glad I discovered this at home and not on the freeway somewhere.

The dealership had said they would try to find a 3/4 ton and get me out of the half ton but I only had a short time before my planned trip. They never found me a 3/4 ton so I did at one of there sister dealers cost me several K$ more . I bought a used pickup from them, I was told it had a towing capacity of 8600 pounds it was actually only 7600 had to call the manufacturer to find that out but only after purchasing a travel trailer with a gross weight of 8000 very mad I told my salesman I wanted a 3/4 ton diesel and with all the sister dealerships he wouldn't look around only kept pushing the low miles on the half ton and 8600 pound towing capacity at my wife. I may never go to a Larry Miller Dealer again.

Typical Dealership. Nice and friendly sales staff that pretend to be giving you a good deal, when in reality they are ripping you off. Usually it's not on the sale price of the car itself. What they try to do is sneak in a bunch of optional fees and "services" that they make you think are required and hope you don't notice. They had us wait for several hours just to get our paperwork ready, then they used that as an excuse to rush us through singing the paper work, as if they were doing us favor.

I bought a 4runner from LHM 5 years ago. Figured I'd try to come back again for a tacoma. Wanted some options installed with it... did not want a plain truck. When they asked for credit to get the truck down. I asked if the LTV would be too high to get it done. Instead, they just ran the credit on the plain truck. Now I've started a 30day clock on credit apps for a vehicle I do not want because the team couldn't tell me that they could not get the deal done with the down-payment I was able to make. Kind of shady

I'm from Battle Ground, Washington and my wife and I were driving through on our way to southern Utah when our transmission started slipping. When we couldn't afford to fix it and opted to trade it in, we came here and were immediately greeted by Serghei. He was nothing short of amazing. After we explained our situation, he showed us a few options, and when we needed to return our rental car to a place 15 minutes away, he happily followed us there and waited for us to go top off the rental's tank, finish up business there and load all of our luggage into his car, and then drove us back to the dealership. He made the process of buying a new car so much easier than I thought possible, and assured us that he would get us a car to get back home. After we finished up, he told us that if we're ever in the area again to stop by and let him know how we're doing. I can't say enough how thankful I am for Serghei and what he did for us.

I came a second time to get a recall taken care of: this time it's a software update on a Toyota Prius. I was told it shouldn't take more than a couple of hours. I'm told the computer cycle takes 16 minutes, so with an appointment I fail to see why it should take two hours: you'd think the point of an appointment is so that they can make sure you don't have to wait that long. Anyway, I came prepared with something to do, but after almost 3 hours I finally asked what was going on. Apparently they'd had a computer problem that was causing trouble. They offered to loan me a vehicle, but I preferred to stick around and let them try it one more time (again, this should have taken 16 minutes). After another half an hour I asked for a status update and eventually found out they were still having computer trouble. So at the 4-hour mark, I took them up on their offer of a loaner vehicle.

They eventually realized that their computer was totally messed up, and they got things fixed right later in the day. I'm two-for-two with bad experiences here now. Kasey assured me this is an anomaly, and he was very apologetic. Next time I think I'm just going to ask for a loaner vehicle up front.

== Original Post ==
I just brought our van in for a recall on the cable holding the spare tire in place. We had an appointment, and I wouldn't think it would be a complicated procedure, but I was told to expect it to take 2 1/2 hours. The shuttle has to go downtown to drop off somebody else before they can take me home. And the shuttle service is one-way, so unless the shuttle driver happens to not be busy I'll have to figure out a way to get myself back here when they've finished. I wish someone had told my wife what to expect when she called for the appointment so we could plan our day around this. We totally expected it to be a quick fix. Disappointing. At least the waiting area is clean and comfortable.

**Update**: four and a half hours after dropping off our van, I hadn't heard a thing, so I finally called, and was told that their internet access had gone down and they weren't able to authorize the recall with Toyota earlier, so now it'll be another two hours. I'm downgrading this review to one star. This is ridiculous on so many levels.

First of all, my experience was very disappointing. However, that being said, all has been made right. I have much enjoyed working with Alan, Lance, Mehdi, oh I forget Mehdi's boss's name and also Stacy who stopped in to say hello. These people made my experience more than a pleasure. It has restored my confidence. And I humbly apologized to Lance. I regret he took the brunt of my anger and frustration. He did not deserve that for my experience two years ago was in no way his fault. But there can be no fault in the treatment I was given. Especially by Alan. He spent time making certain I understood everything. Alan also spent time making certain I got the best possible deal. And I did not feel he was trying to compensate for what had happened prior. Nor did I feel that from any I associated with. I was also grateful for Mehdi seeing I understand the warranties packaging. It is nice to have the assurance I need not worry about the warranty expiring on the hybrid expenses. At my age, etc. such things are important. I had Toyota Tercel many years ago and truly loved it. My experience with the Prius has been just as good. I love the hybrid. I'm not a person that requires Sun roofs and electronics that tell me I'm nearing the edge of my lane. I am more than happy with this sweet little car. It will fulfill all my needs for many years to come. Thank you and everyone for all your help. Kathy Reynolds

I've now bought four cars from LHM Toyta: a 2009 Toyota Matrix; 2010 Toyota Corolla; 2010 Pontiac Vibe (a Matrix in disguise); and a 2013 Toyota Matrix. Alan Weeks has helped me with the latter three purchases, and I highly recommend him to anyone. First, he wants the sale. Despite his sales success, he still wants every sale possible--but not at the customer's expense. Second, he doesn't play the sales person game: he simply wants to help the customer buy a Toyota. Finally, he always provides the most competitive price. There are other Toyota dealers in the Salt Lake area (including Bountiful). He always beats their prices by at least $500.00. With my latest purchase, he allowed me to compare the RAV4 with the Matrix. I discovered by that side-by-side comparison and test drives that I preferred the ride quality of the Matrix more than the RAV 4. I would not have discerned that difference had Alan not provided the side-by-side comparison, including the test drives. Alan isn't about selling you something that you don't want. Rather, he's about helping the customer buy the car that satisfies the customer's preferences. I highly recommend Alan Weeks and the LHM Toyota team.

I would recommend Shawn to anybody who is looking to upgrade vehicles. I finally had an experience with a real person while shopping for a car instead of talking to a salesman. Went to Larry H Miller Toyota to have my Tundra frame inspected due to a recall notice I received in the mail. The whole inspection was to take about an hour maybe a little more. I sat waiting in the lounge area, after some time passing (close to 3 hours) and no one came to tell me the status of my truck. I went to the service department and spoke with Dustyn Dewitt, an incompetent 'service advisor' who asked with whom helped me first, to which I replied 'you'. Who said the truck was done and had been done in under an hour. Nothing more I love than wasting time in a waiting room for no reason at all while the service department has a circle jerk standing around, not doing their job. 10/10 would never go there ever again. Thank you Larry H Miller for wasting my time.

This is the third new car I have have purchased from the Larry H. Miller dealerships. In each case, my buying experience has been positive and I have never been made to feel like I am dealing with arrogant sharks. I have also appreciated not being given the "hard sell" to purchase additional add-ons like gap insurance and such. I have driven past two other Toyota dealerships to do business with LHM Toyota and I expect I will do it again. I have really enjoyed the sales people I have worked with as well as the financing staff.

Really nice store if you want to sit there and eat popcorn and drink soda. However that isnt why I went there. I own a 11 corolla with 33k on it purchased from Karl Malone Toyota. One day I parked and when I went to start the car the abs, traction control, and maintenance lights came on. I brought it to Blenda in service and she had the me in and out of there way faster then promised. Then the next time this problem occurred I took it to the closest store to my work which was this one. Night and day difference in the way the problem was taken care of. I left my car there early about 8 am and they weren't done until six pm. That in itself didn't bother me what did is the very next day when I parked all the same lights came on the dash. I am a car salesman myself so I know the ins and outs of the business. The tech at this store just cleared the lights from the dash and did nothing to discover the cause of the problem. Brought it in again a few weeks later and same experience. Tech cleared the lights and alas the next morning problem was back. So I bring back the car yet again and Kacy the advisor promised to rotate the tires and change the oil for free for the hassle and time taken from my day. At this point I was less angry because they didn't need to do that. When I come to get the car Kacy is off and some fake service manager helped me but then charged me for the oil change and the tires were not rotated. I marked the outside of the tire to make sure and the mark was still there when I picked it up. Next day I left for vacation driving to California so the rotation of the tires was important. This store I would stay away from. Just meet the GM Lance and you will know what I mean. Total bleeep hole. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. Take it to Karl Malone. They do what they say they will do. Kacy ball faced lied to me and of course he was off the day I came to geReally nice store if you want to sit there and eat popcorn and drink soda. Then the next time this problem occured I took it to the closest store to my work which was this one. Night and day difference in the way the problem was taken care of. Really, what did they put in oil with flakes of gold in it. Needless to say I am still fighting them on a refund for the oil change and I expect them in a good faith effort to replace the so called tires they rotated. Stay away from this store for service. I would have taken the car to my dealership but its under warranty so its Toyota's responsibility to correct the problem. I will update this review if they actually do what they said they will do.

I have worked with Marion in service for over a de...

I have worked with Marion in service for over a decade on my 2001 Toyota tundra. He's personable, smart, and always been upfront about costs. He has never tried to push me into any unnecessary services. As long as Toyota doesn't charge way more than independent shops, I'll keep coming back.

I've been a loyal customer to LHM Toyota in Murray...

I've been a loyal customer to LHM Toyota in Murray for over 5 years now. I have received stellar service up until this year for some reason. Since I bought my Toyota, I have always also purchased the maintenance package with 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations in a year span. It was great! Then they dropped it to 3 and raised the price. I still wasn't too put off because there was still some little value there. However, now whenever I need an oil change it's always at least a 3-4 hour wait. I have gone in and had to leave 3 times this week now due to the same issue. It was suggested that I make an appointment, which was a great idea! So, I decided to make an appointment. Soonest appointment was 8 days out. I'm coming to conclusion that I may need to find a more efficient place to service my vehicle. I'm saddened that LHM Toyota doesn't really seem to value my loyalty. Although I still have 3 oil changes paid for, I'm afraid the wait times I have experienced thus far, are forcing to reevaluate where I spend my money to get my car serviced. You guys used to be sooooooo damn good! I hate that it had to come to this but you've left me with no other options. This appears to be the beginning of the end of our relationship. I'm sad.

They get 1 star for the free popcorn , hot chocola...

They get 1 star for the free popcorn , hot chocolate and coffee , but it's not the first time they've scammed a bit of money here and there, the first time was when trying to sell a vehicle we were "Negotiating " and they were very pleasant to deal with because they're sales people. Since they're sales people they caved in and tried offering us more credit on the car if we bought a new car
Example: 8000 $ credit but they'll "give" us 9000 credit for the car if we buy a car and sign the deal.
We kept on negotiating and obviously they expect to you not do basic math and they ended up rearranging the "extra 1000" into some fake cost in the new car , we found out because the numbers kept adding up to the exact same, eventually the man got mad as he was caught in his lie and being nosy they have a team of sales people rearranging the numbers on their computers in the back. So it seems like they quickly just gave you the "Great!" Deal you wanted and overall the situation was unpleasant.

The second time was Today we went in for a regular tune up and they rearranged the Oil change plan we had just a bit.
So the TPA or TCA plan is 155$ for 3 oil changes cor 1 year from purchase date. and it covers the labor and one replacement element.
They charged us for the labor and element , and charged us for a new plan when the previous plan still had 1 oil change left.
So they charged 55$ : 19 for parts 31 for labor and tax~
Charged 155$ for a new plan
AND told us that we only had 2 changes left after todays plan, because why not it's not like we the customer is will look at the receipt or ask questions just trust the happy salesperson who has your best interest at heart.

We're going to go get this fixed Monday, because although they are open till 9PM on weekends according to google maps they told me their customer service department closes at 5pm and opens again on Monday.

I like Toyota the cars are nice but the people are not, they wear masks and only care about being sly.

Small disclaimer : I cant speak for every single employee that works there , but stay on your toes and just make sure that you know what they are really offering.

They even have a disclaimer that says "thanks for coming , remember that a completely satisfied rating is not indicating that we did a job well done but that our service was great"
Not word for word but it said that, I expect to be satisfied from a job well done not a you come for our smile not our Work type response.

Thanks and good luck , other people. :)
