If you are a masochist and enjoy being abused, lied to and taken advantage of by a stereotypical, sleazy auto dealer, head over to Larry H Miller. They cover the gambit of sleazy negotiation tricks. Hiding fees, going back on pre-negotiated vehicle prices, presenting you with their "four square" with your payment prices (less of course the interest rate, who cares about that), then offering you $500 for your trade in vehicle. Watch out for the dealer "fee" they attach to everything, the salesperson will fight you tooth and nail for it (prob their commission for the car). Do yourself a favor and don't even call, email or walk onto their lot. I'm sorry I wasted my time with them.

Sales person acted as if my calling to ask a few questions about a truck was an imposition. Then proceeded to call multiple times regardless of the fact I said I would be there at some point before they closed to look at the truck but I had to work first. Then when I got there I was told that they had the wrong mileage posted on multiple websites... It was 203,000 not 103,000 as they had said. I commented that those were vastly different and was laughed at and told no they aren't that different.

If you're buying a car here:

If you're buying a car here:
1. Fight and claw your way out of paying for VTA (theft insurance) and be prepared to lose that battle in an ultimatum unless you blow up about it.
2. Your car documents will come on a flash drive but you NEED a paper copy of the bill of sale to take to your bank because they won't plug in a flash drive for security reasons. So get a paper copy of everything before you go. Look over it and even call your bank to make sure you have everything because you probably don't and that's not a mistake.
3. They will keep you at the dealership for hours in an atempt to make you impatient and finance through them - give yourself 4-5 hours.
4. At this point maybe just shop somewhere else.

I will say my dealer was helpful and I appreciated what he was willing to do as it was even a headache for him to help me get through all the paperwork and people. Even so I will not shop at a Larry Miller again, from my own experience and also stories related to me by mechanics and my bank. What a nightmare.

What's the best way to say "Happy Father's day" to your hubby... buy him a truck!
We were casually looking around until we met Roosbeh. He was friendly, courteous, and advocated to get the best deal for us. In the end, my husband drove off in a brand new Tacoma TRD Sport and he couldn't be happier about it.
If you are looking for a best deal on a vehicle, look no further. Larry H. Miller Toyota of Murray is the place!
Thank you Roosbeh!

I really do love this service department. I've always been a Ford girl, but any time I have to bring in my Tacoma, I always feel comfortable. Being a women in a "mans" world in the service department, it can be overwhelming. The staff is always so warm, welcome, and helpful. I never have to worry about being lied to, or that the work requested will be completed properly. Great job guys!

I have purchased three vehicles from LHM Toyota and have been pleased with my experience every time. Lance Barraclough and Eric Rosner are easy to work with, listen to my questions and deliver on their promises. I have recommended both Lance and Eric to several friends and they have enjoyed similar experiences. My 4runner just hit 160,000 miles so it won't be too long before I visit LHM Toyota again.

They provided the services I expected. They didn't call me or send me an email every day like some other dealerships. They put in the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. They were flexible and accommodating on the time of purchase. My salesman came in on his day off. Overall everybody was extremely friendly.

The finance guy "Rick Marryhew"" was the most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with in my entire life, from screwing almost EVERYTHING up in my deal from what was agreed on, mailing my information to the wrong address, forgetting to wash my car after I purchased it, to becoming angry when I didn't want to buy the inflation insurance.. I don't know if he was just genuinely stupid or he was really that bad at his job, either way.. I'll never go back here again and tell everyone I know the exact same thing.

200k Service misses oil change, lethargic Customer Service, no follow up after numerous voice memos, reached out to the service manager as well, left a VM, again no call back. Guess, not interested in customer retention either.

Was verbally assaulted and physically threatened by a service writer, Mr. CJ Gardner on Sat, Jan 2. All I wanted was an oil change as I have a service contract. 2 1/2 hour wait with no appointments on Saturdays! Mr. Gardner told me to get up earlier or take my business elsewhere. When I asked to speak to management, he slammed my truck door shut, almost crushing my fingers, breaking a window latch, ripped off his name tag and shoved it in my face.
A representative of management said, if I don't like the service, take my business elsewhere!
8 years and 2 vehicles bought and serviced there and that is my reward. A rude and threatening atmosphere! I still cant believe how I was treated. Several messages left for GM and SM with no response for a week. Atrocious!

Our car-buying experience was very positive. Our salesman, Lance Rawle, was great to work with and went "above and beyond" to make sure everything went smoothly. The other members of the Toyota staff at LHM were equally great to work with. We were treated very well during the entire buying process and we purchased our new car at a fair price. We couldn't have been happier with our buying experience!

We feel like we were not a concern to their service center. There is an uneven focus on maintenance jobs such as oil changes, etc relative to services such as engine diagnostics. I recognize that an engine diagnostic may be more time consuming, but when we had to chase down someone regarding an update, the diagnosis had been made readily available. The technician obviously completed the diagnostic, and the customer service guy just hadn't gotten to it yet. When we got here the service center was nearly empty, and several people we were here before have left before us. Not being updated after 3 hours is unacceptable, especially when all that needs to be done is battery replacement. It has now been over an hour since he said that he would replace the battery. It's great to see that people here for oil changes and tire changes are moving right along. Perhaps if we had bought our car here, purchase their maintenance program, we would receive priority. But I am very unhappy with today's service and will not bother coming back despite them being the closest toyota service center to my home.

Great car, shady financing department. I purchased...

Great car, shady financing department. I purchased a new car about seven months ago. I received the price I was hoping for and the sale went great. The problem came when I went through the paper work in the financing department. I was pressured pretty highly to purchase a warranty, and after the price came down to a reasonable level, I decided that I would purchase it. I purchased a loaded Avalon, so I figured it might be good to have a warranty to cover all the fancy features. The problem came when the rep had me go through and sign the paper work. One of the documents said that I was getting "complete" coverage, but didn't have the box called "high technology" marked. Since that was the primary reason I was getting the warranty, I asked if that excluded some of the more expensive features from the warranty, and the rep said that my coverage covered "everything" and kept referring me to the warranty card which had a huge list of items that were covered. I asked the question a few different ways, and at a few different times, and the answer was the same. I had everything, although he never really directly answered my question on whether it covered the "high technology" items. I didn't feel good about it, so the first time I went it for service, I asked for a confirmation from another financing rep that my warranty really did cover "everything". Of course, it turns out that I didn't have coverage on the most expensive, technology features in the car. When I discovered the I had been misled, the dealership processed a refund for the warranty, but didn't even refund the full amount, even after they admitted that I had been misled. Probably not the best way to retain loyal customers.

The rep also lumped several add on services into the warranty, acting like it was one package, but it was not. For example, he said that I would get a few extra years worth of oil changes as part of the warranty. Really, this was a separate add that got me 6 oil changes for $300. These oil changes have an expiration date. I had previously purchased 3 oil changes for my wife's car for $150, the same price, and they never expire, so essentially I had an add on service included in the price of this warranty that was a crappier offer than what any person could get in the service department. I did sign these documents, and could have reviewed them more thoroughly, but at the end of a long sale, you're just wanting to get out the door. The whole warranty sales process was just misleading, in so many ways. These warranties are generally to add on a nice sales commission for the financing rep, which is fine, but the shady manner in which it happened left a terrible taste in my mouth.

There are some other issues I had with the sales process, but this review has gone long enough. Just wanted to remind any potential buyers to take the time to really analyze what is happening in the financing room, so you don't get burned, as I did.

I was really pleased with David Hughes who was referred by Scott Andersen. He was very patient listening to me. The negotiations weren't painful. He listened to the reasonable changes I wanted, and he reviewed with me on the internet confirming the best finance rates and pricing available in northern Utah. The finance department provided quick updates, so I wasn't left twiddling my thumbs for 30-45 minute updates like some dealerships. I would definitely recommend David and the finance department for future purchases.

I felt like I was taken care of by the salesman and that he was honest however the finance guy was not as good so be aware. He didn't explain the charges associated with my lease and discovered charges that I was unaware that will cost me at the end of my lease. I spoke with the manager and they tried to make it right as possible after the fact.

Went in with my son June 20, 20014. Asked for best price on Toyota Tacoma and informed them we would be going to 2 other dealerships to get the best deal, as we were leaving the sales manager came and asked if we wanted to take the Tacoma for a few hours. My son went to Mark Miller and found a better deal he then went to Karl Malone and got an even better deal so he bought it, when he and my wife showed up to return the Larry H. vehicle they became agitated that he had done what he had informed them he was going to do, which was look for and found a better deal. Two hours after our return home the salesman, we'll call him Joe called informing my son that we had stolen the dealer plates from their truck and he was going to call the police. Of course this was a vindictive lie it never happened and when I called for an apology from the manager he said if we did not take it then they probably stole it at the Karl Malone dealership. My son was up front about intending to go look for the best deal and when he found one both the manager and the salesman lived up to the legacy that gives all reputable salesman a bad name, in this case it holds true. they are sleazy underhanded and unprofessional. When I called to complain to the manager he said he would connect me with "Joe" and left me on hold till I finally hung up after twenty minutes. If you are looking for an honest, classy dealership you'd best bypass Larry H. Miller Toyota in Murray.

Absolutely horrible company! I went in and spent 4 hours looking at cars with one of their salesman. He made me a written offer for how much I could pay for the car and the upgrades. pressured me hardcore to sign immediately. Told him I needed to come in and sign the next day. The next day this price had gone up $2,000 and all the upgrades were removed. I had a picture of the written offer that the salesman had given me. I sent the picture of the written offer to their general manager Casey and she said she didn't care and I could leave all the negative reviews I wanted and she didn't want to do business with me. Horrible horrible horrible used car salesman. No integrity at all, complete liars. Will never ever ever do business with this company again. Larry h Miller is turning over in his grave with how his company has turned out

Pleasantly and completely satisfied. I worked with Lance Barraclough and Pete Bell. I was referred to Lance and after talking to him I decided on a vehicle that fit my needs. I waited for the vehicle to come in and it arrived on July 30th. When I came in on the 31st Lance had me work with Pete Bell. I had previously worked with Pete on my last vehicle purchase. I appreciated Lance's help and he was kind and professional. My Mother and Father-in-law were purchasing my trade in. They also traded in their car. Dad is almost 91 and Pete was so kind, gentile, caring in helping them. I don't think you could have a better salesman than Pete Bell. He exemplifies the kind of salesman everybody coming into the dealership would want. We are happy with the Larry H. Miller Toyota in Murray and we will be servicing our vehicles with you. As we went into the financing and paper work room (which my in-laws don't like) Tyler Anderson was so kind and helpful. He wasn't pushy and made the experience a dream. You made our day. Thank you to all who helped in this transaction. Brent Robison....

Bob uses deceitful sales tactics, will attempt to confuse you about the sales terms, and will not hesitate to lie to and bully you.

I was quoted a price in person on Monday. I called in on Tuesday to confirm the price. He confirmed the price and said to come in and get it. When I showed up he had increased the price by over $2000. He acted like it was a big misunderstanding. I called in to confirm the price in hopes of avoiding exactly that situation. I specifically said 'Out the door' and emphasized the point both times when confirming the price. I made very sure that there could be no misunderstanding. When it came time to actually purchase the car he lied to my face. He seemed to enjoy the fact that he had tricked me into taking time off work in the middle of the day to come in to the dealership.

I had heard similar horror stories about Larry H. Miller, but decided to give them a chance anyway. It was a mistake. AVOID THIS PLACE.

The service rep, Marion, was very professional, detailed, willing to answer all questions, and had a great sense of humor! It was obvious he loved his job!

However the tech who worked on my car claimed I needed a bunch of services that I had just spent over $1,000 to have done at the same place in June, four months prior. When Marion pointed this out to him, he said it was an oversight. But as a customer who relies on an honest dealership, it made me question if they were just looking for a fast dollar, hoping I would not remember it had just been done!

Terrible experience with this dealership. They were completely manipulative in the sales process. Promising this and that. They were not clear or upfront with anything while saying we were "getting a great deal." They used a lot of scare tactics and won't ever let you get a word in. Also watch out for Dave. He was a sales manager and just really took advantage of us. The biggest problem was they just weren't upfront or clear about how/why they were getting us this great deal. Turns out we didn't save any money, we just got worked over from them talking in circles. We felt completely mistreated. We missed out on a great deal at Karl Malone Toyota in draper, and could have got our car for 2-3 thousand dollars cheaper.

General manager responded to this review. Called her multiple times. It's now been 4 days later and no response, no follow up, no nothing. So the follow up message is just an automated response that leads to no where.

I don t expect a lot from car dealers when trying ...

I don t expect a lot from car dealers when trying to do a deal, they always make me feel dirty, like I just wrestled with a pig and lost. However, in spite of being a return customer at Larry H. Miller Toyota, and one who spends a lot of money with them, they managed to exceed (in a bad way) even my low expectations. The lack of integrity I experienced there was astonishing. I went in to trade my 2015, very low mileage, loaded, Tundra Crewmax Platinum for a TRD Pro 4Runner. The 4Runner was being built when I put a $1K deposit on it several weeks ago. When I went in yesterday to let them see my Tundra for a trade-in value and do the paperwork, I noticed the price I had supposedly agreed to was $2K over MSRP, and $4K over the price I remember agreeing to with the salesman I was working with at the time (who was out on medical by the time I came back to do the final paperwork). It was quickly determined by my new salesman he needed to get the sales manager (Vladimir) involved, which he did. I asked Vlad where the $2K over MSRP came from and was boldly told it was an up-charge just because they could get it since the truck was so rare . When I balked at this price I was told to basically pound sand. In fact, the moment I said no to the $2K, kiss-free screwing, Vlad immediately stood up, closed his folder, and told me they would just call the next guy on the list. I told him I had a deposit on the vehicle, which hadn t even arrived yet, and I wanted to take a day or two and decide if this was worth it to me. He basically said that if anyone on the list wanted the vehicle that day, he would sell it to them and refund my deposit whether I liked it or not. I reiterated that I still had first position and I wasn t relinquishing that. He didn t care. I ended up calling Toyota N.A. and filing a report and contacting the Customer Satisfaction Manager (Mitch) at LHM, who told me I still had first position but they were still going to up-charge me $2K because they could and he didn t really care about my previous business or any kind of two way loyalty. At the end of the day I went to another dealer, put my name on the list for another TRD Pro 4Runner, paid half as much as a deposit and got the deal for MSRP and got more for my trade-in. I should have my truck in three months or less. Unless you like being the victim of non-consensual, dinner-free love making, avoid these a-holes like the Moronic Plague. I am an extremely loyal customer if I am treated fairly. I think it goes without saying that I won t be buying another vehicle from LHM and will advise everyone I know who is looking for one to avoid them as well. I hope the $2K up-charge and f.u. attitude was worth the future revenue they lost from me. (When you read this, LHM person, picture me flipping you the bird.)

Steve Adams was very good to work with, he even came in on his day off to help us. We got the truck we wanted with all the options, just not the color. That would have taken to long to get in and we would probably miss the the Toyota financing. But we are happy with the color we have.
My only problem is the length of time it took to get all the paper work done, and out the door. About 4 hrs. That seemed like a long time considering we had already gone through most of the paper work the day before for about 2 1/2. That aside we are happy with the truck we got.
