Parking garage exit process is horrible. No one answers the help button, and the machines don't take payment due to some error that no one's fixed, forcing you to re-park and go all the way back to the lobby. Whoever's in charge of the parking deck should be replaced. You're losing a lot of money from all of the people who get frustrated and just move the gate and leave without paying.

Not allowed to park in the loading area while checking in and unloading bags like every other hotel. Okay, I'll carry all of my stuff from the top level of the parking deck...

Hotel was essentially shut down with no normal guest services you'd expect available, due to covid I guess? Where's the alert on your website saying "The price is the same but there's nothing to offer except a room?"

No one at the front desk would answer the phone for days before arrival to answer basic questions. I never had someone answer the phone, ever, not once, during normal business hours.

Total waste of points.

I loved this place because they have four pools... Adult pool, ocean view pool, kids lower pool, and upper kids pool. Great food service except for the restaurant, "Solera". Took hour and a half to get three plates of food. Nice people and going to Old San Juan for shopping or eatery is amazing! Thanks for reading this receive.

Beautiful resort right next to the beach with multiple pools and great views. My room was very spacious with a balcony and views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable and the rain showerhead was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend!

I really like this hotel. The casino is very large and has a variety of machines.

I was there last week and stayed from July 9 till July 13 I love the hotel it was beautiful and the Front Ocean View I had was so amazing. The only issue was that for the week I was there the housekeeper never changed the bed sheets and pillow case not even once. The last day I was there I had the housekeeper come in the room and let her do her part and that s when I witness that all she did was fix the bed and never took off the bed sheets or pillow case even thou I mention to her that I was checking out later on that day. Overall the hotel is beautiful and the staff was so friendly but they just have to tell the housekeeper that they need to changed the bed sheets and pillow cases just like they changed the towels.

This is for Michael in Tours at the resort. We made reservations for the El Yunque. The taxi drivers were ripping us off big time. He went above and beyond to find us someone to take us. Finally we were able to book a tour for the same amount just going one way. His customer service and dedication to making our day to El Yunque was everything. Thank you so much Michael.

I chose the La Concha Resort for a destination wedding for one of my daughters. I reserved over 40 nights and was to receive complimentary stays afterwards, except Hurricane Maria hit the island, and it would have been inappropriate and insensitive of me to inquire about my complimentary nights throughout that period of time.
I waited some time when I felt it was the opportune time to inquire about me free nights:
NO response from anyone. I emailed the wedding coordinator, and many others I had dealt with to NO avail. Not even the decency of a reply.
Then Puerto Rico was hit with earthquakes and now the pandemic.

My next trip to Puerto Rico which includes over 10 family members - I say NO to La Concha. I lived up to my agreement with them but yet, they did not.

Please take me off your distribution list - I don t want to receive any deals from you.

Beautiful resort, exquisite stay and people. I believe I will stay here once I return in July! Right next to the beach, I don't believe there was a reason to leave the area at ALL!

The front desk never answered their phone. I stood in the hotel lobby, placed a call to the front desk while no one was being serviced at the time and the two staff members never picked up the phone that continued to ring for at least 3 minutes. Also Asst Front Desk Manager Jose Melendez told me on April 23, 2021, that I could not play my music from my phone through my small portable speaker outside by the pool because if he let me do it then he has to allow other guests. I stated to Jose Melendez that I had played my music on April 22, 2021 and no security guard, staff member or guest said anything to me about stop playing my music so what changed in a day. I asked him was there a hotel policy in writing that states I can not play my music outside by the pool and he stated no. I asked him had anyone complain about my music and he said no. He stated it was because he said I couldn t play the music and that was it. Also my credit had been charged an extra $5.00 for a bill that was supposed to be $15.70 ($10.70 for the total and a $5.00 tip) but when the charge showed up on my credit card bill it was $20.70, which means the La Concha waiter illegally charged me an additional $5.00. The 10:00 pm curfew caused La Concha guest to have to stay on the premises but the hotel staff really wanted the guests to go to their rooms at 10:00 pm and was doing their best to make hanging out at the pool difficult. The hotel security actually told a group of people seating together to lower their voice because it was giving him a headache. Worst stay ever and I will never come back to La Concha Renaissance Resort or Puerto Rico again because of the poor experience I had while staying at the resort from April 23-26, 2021.

Incredible staff!! Go here for a great experience where the people truly care about you as their customer and the hotel as their workplace. Edguard is currently one of the managers and helped us tremendously with our stay. Nothing less than 5 star service.

Decent hotel right on the beach. Caters to the party crowd with excessively loud music in the lobby. Overall a good stay.

Very nice location. On the beach great for playing in the surf. The a has been extremely friendly. Booked a tour today and the gentleman at the tour desk was well informed and full of suggestions to help make the experience great.

Very Clean and modern hotel! We had the ocean side room with the jacuzzi suite, and I want to say, "AMAZING"! This chapter has been a much needed R&R experience!!! We shall return sooner than later La Concha!

We had an incredible time here our first experience in Puerto Rico. My friend even left his wallet, and a member of the valet team helped him hunt down the cabbie and found it. I LOVED this resort. We will be back!

Best pools and best beach front of all the hotels in the area. The aMare restaurant at the Serafina hotel just two doors down was better than the restaurants at La Concha, but when we come back we will stay at La Concha and dine at the Serafina.

Best experience ever. The staff treated you like royalty absolutely professional. The hotel is located right in the middle of San Juan making easy to access all the tourist attractions. The rooms are amazing very clean and you get a great view of the water. I would definitely go back to this Resort, If I can give it ten stars I would.

Beautiful hotel - great rooms, service and amenities. I think there were at least 3 weddings taking place the night we stayed! And a huge party - someone said there is an annual festive event in Puerto Rico every year on June 23rd - if so they really celebrated! The casino was fun with a live band and the table minimums were really low compared to what you'd find in the continental US casinos we've been to. The dealers were also very personable and friendly!

Near by everything. Within 2 miles of shopping, eating, and beaches. Clean and polite staff!

3-Star hotel at 5-Star prices. Started in an oceanfront non-suite room which was in severe need of renovation and a thorough cleaning. After the air conditioner stopped working, we were moved to a suite. The suite tower was substantially better.
Staff interactions were mixed. The tour desk and concierge were fantastic, bar staff at the pool were great; but ocean staff to set up chairs didn't seem like they wanted to bother helping us. Rather than enthusiastically set up a couple chairs in a desired location, they tried to insist we take one of the existing ones no longer being used with a pile of cigarettes next to it from some disgusting prior person. Pool staff were slightly better, but only minimally so -- hand you a towel and tell you to find your own spot. For the resort fees charged here, I expected better service.
I travel annually to San Juan and have stayed at several properties in Condado - for the price, this is just not a good value. By the time you pay for a suite, prices are fairly high. Other properties (Hilton Caribe, Vanderbilt, and others) offer a truly 4 or 5-star experience.

Outstanding service and infrastructure! The hotel has a modern style which captivates anybodies attention during the evening time. There's a casino and a lounge area. The lounge is great; sangria jars are $50 and contain natural fruits. The sangria goes well with their cheese and prosciutto platter!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, perfect location...can't imagine you need anything more.

Great hotel, close to airport and minutes ride from old san juan. Hotel staff is friendly and quick to respond. Rooms are a bit dated, and could use an upgrade. Eg, room had an ihome with the old iphone connector, without any adapters. Many on prem Resturants to choose room. Overall enjoyed the stay, dropping a star for the room amenities.

It's an alright place, they like to up charge everything, but what hotels don't? The staff is very friendly, and works hard, that definitely makes up for the negatives.

Place is pretty nice and the rooms are a good size. Pool area and beach area was nicely maintained. The individual rooms themselves looked a little dated and could probably use some updating but for the price you pay it s a great deal

I've stayed the twice to celebrate my wife and my birthday and we had so much fun! The hotel lobby is always moving and they always have some live music event! Walking distance from restaurants, pharmacys and bars

Iam not please with the service especially with cleaning on our last day we had to call for room service about three times and still was not clean they ready to apologize quickly but not to work on it we had to down stairs to ask for manager

Great place to stay in Puerto Rico. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and just relaxing on our balcony.

La Concha has always been one of my hotels to visit, me and my girl came here for memorial weekend. We arrived at the hotel pretty late around 11:20pm. It's only 10min from the airport. We got there pretty quick.

The moment we arrived we were greeted at the lobby and I checked in within 5-min I already had my room key and my service was ready to go. I must say this was the fastest check in, The Hotel Rep was very in formatted and knowledgably well informed on what I wanted from my reservation.

Our room was exactly what we expected a private cabana on the first floor and our room was clean, the bed was perfect, we had all the amenities you can ask for. The stand up shower and bathroom was quit roomy and we had plenty of closets space draws.

We also had a nice size balcony for us to enjoy and kick back and have our own little private party's of our own. We were never disturbed at all..Not Once.!!! We enjoyed everyday of every moment at the La Concha and the service level was top, The pool area was always clean and the Jacuzzi was available to us at night.

The beach was clean and always greeted with the smile, the young lady who always provided us with towels was always pleasant and with a smile. The guys always came to us on the beach and asked if we needed any more drinks, and they came with our drinks quick, and nice and cold.

We tried Blood Orange Beer from San Juan, It's Great, I must say La Concha lobby lounge, restaurants are just great. We ate at the Perla Restaurant and had a wonderful meal and date night.

Breakfast at Deliscias was also good, they have a nice buffet, and the coffee so good.

There is so much more to say about La Concha I can go on and on, But you must experience this for yourself, The food and drinks to us are not pricey, It's a resort and it's well worth the time and money, You will have a great time. We did not want to leave. But we are so looking forward to come back. La Concha - Gracias por todo / From Kimmy & Peter.

I'm only giving this hotel a 3 rating as the front desk staff is not consistent. I stopped by the front desk the day before our checkout to request a late check out due to our flight time, I was told to call first thing in the morning which I did. The young lady who answered the phone indicated she could only extend until 12N, check out is at 11. However, another guest with whom we are traveling called after I did and made the same request due flight time and was given a 2 PM checkout. I called back to the front desk and asked why i was only given a 12N checkout when she just granted the other traveler a later checkout. She indicated that she had some checking into my room. However, the floor that my husband and i are staying on is not fully occupied. The front desk is not very accommodating.

Nice, yet somewhat tired. Nothing is included in you extremely high priced "resort". Staff was very friendly, but I was not as impressed as I would have liked to have been for what we paid to stay there. A $249/night room easily becomes $350/after taxes and fees. The robes in the closet were dingy, stained, and one was ripped. Bed was fabulously comfortable though. The room - unimpressive.
$9 for a beer was ridiculous.
Food was good and adjoining restaurant, Sarafina, was delicious.
Beach was a public beach. But the staff could find and attend to you.
On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 6.5

We stayed at this hotel for a week, their staff was the best! Room service was the best, walking distance to everything. Food was delicious, I will stay here again, no doubt....

Absolutely love this place, I use the Cabanas exclusively and the Casino is awsome its small but the can be very good

Cool place. Decent rooms but I only go for the nightlife. Has a good sushi restaurant out by the pool.

A fantastic spot in San Juan, you're next to everything you need. Close to the beach, the pool is a fantastic alternative. The suites were huge, plenty of room for hosting people prior to going out. We'll be back.

Very great hotel. Casino very nice except a bad language barrier. Employees seem to be more concerned about the GRATUITY. .That ANGERS many.

Good: nice location , great beach and friendly staff.
Bad: housekeeping was very bad , no lifeguard on the beach what makes no sense when it is advertised as a resort and charges a fee for it, parking is too expensive.
