The building and the beach are excellent, but for the price we paid I thought the rooms would be better. If it wasn't for the great view I would have thought I was staying at a Holiday Inn. The beach is private, so no one will be bothering you, but beware the prices.

You might think that the food is going to be excellent from the prices they ask. Prepare yourself for disappointment. The food was poorly executed for a number of reasons, and I give it an all around thumbs down. I thought the deserts where better at a local food truck than at the restaurant at the hotel. Also it doesn't matter what time you get up for the continental breakfast they promise you... it won't be there. I woke up between 10am and 6am everyday looking for that thing and they had always "just picked it up".

Who ever manages that place is a cheap skate. Do yourself a favor and stay in San Juan. Rincon Beach Resort isn't worth your time.

The hotel is nice, the pool I loved, but they close it early. The room was nice and clean, the view of the ocean spectacular. The place is quiet has Wi-Fi, hot water, air and the beds are comfortable. I liked it, I was able to get up to see the peaceful sunrise and read a book in front of the sea in peace.

Very good facilities and service. The prices of drinks and meals somewhat high. It is preferable to encourage town tourism and eat outside the facilities. Outside the pool and beach there are not many other activities that can be done

Take this review with a grain of salt. I have no reference to what this resort experience was like pre Hurricane Maria.
A majority of the beach front on the northwest coast of Puerto Rico was washed away during the hurricanes, and Rincon Beach Resort didnt escape this fate. They still have a small strip of beach but it seemed dangerous to swim there if the ocean wasn't relatively calm. Their ocean swimming area is roped off with buoys, but the depth drops off fairly quickly once you get off the beach and into the water.

The room I stayed in was in much need of repair/upkeep. In the bathroom there was holes in the caulking of the ceiling joints and a colony of small ants was happily using the bathroom ceiling as an insect super highway.

In the hallway leading to my room, on the railing looking down into the main courtyard, someone had left some razor blades. These were at easy height access for children. I could make guesses why they were there, but just a forewarning if this wasnt a one off thing.

The "infinity pool" did look pretty at night lit up by purple submerged lighting, but the only portion that seemed like an infinity pool was the kiddie pool section that flowed over and into the larger pool.
The outdoor hot tub was quite large next to the main swimming pool and was a decent temp.

The onsite restuarant Brasas smelled amazing and tasty, but the actual food was a bit of a disappointment sadly. I only add this into the Resort review as you will smell the restaurant everywhere on the resort grounds, and it will make you hungry. Perhaps others will have better luck ordering different dishes that I.

Overall I feel I spent a little too much money for the value of my stay at this resort, but on the other hand I realize they are most likely still in recovery mode and will continue to repair and update as time goes on.

This place should be renamed "Rincon Beach Motel." Although it has an element of grandeur upon entering, the staff and the anesthetic of the rooms and facilities beyond the front desk, leave little to be desired. The staff is unpleasant and rude. The rooms were outdated and poorly maintenanced. Photos provided online do not accurately portray the location.

Resort is beautiful. Lush room and pool towels, clean and comfortable furnishings, TV, shampoo, conditioner, soap, & 2 coffee packets in the room. Covid restrictions make traveling ess enjoyable but the resort is lovely, pool is beautiful overlooking the ocean 10 feet away just as pictured and the hotel restaurant is very reasonably priced. We enjoyed Wonderful Meal for 2 for couples with choice of entre, sides, and desert for $50 plus tax and tip. Amazingly wonderful meal and enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Was here 20 years ago. Still very charming, clean and super efficient / professional staff in both the front desk and restaurant. Infinity Pool and sunsets UNMATCHED. Relaxing. Food was well prepared and well presented, even at the cantina by the pool. Will definetly return for weekday 3 day - two night stay. Only one negative, at $4, the local Medalla beer was a bit overpriced. Everything else, was well priced and of quality.

Well rounded. Front desk had only one team member that was very good (Thalia) but there where many calls and guests that make a bit long the waiting. Rooms are not new but they are clean and the beds are comfortable. Nice property with good pool and access to a beautiful beach. The outdoor chairs and sofas need deep cleaning and the floors good swiping. The a la carte breakfast was a highlight. Great vegetable omelette, and the french toasts where done in brioche bread and not in wonder bread. Excellent service by Tiffany. Friendly staff all over. Will come back.

My high school recently celebrated our 40th class reunion at the Rincon Beach Resort. The facility was perfect for our group and the staff was incredibly helpful. It was a wonderful weekend and we can not wait to return. I would highly recommend it!

Poor maintenance, damaged air conditioner was changed in the middle of the night. Bath all stained. The small green areas of the neglected gardens. Just like the elevator needs maintenance. Very much in spite of how friendly the employees are they are neglecting the place with a privileged position, close to everything. The administration is not paying attention to maintenance, simple.

We booked a deluxe room for more comfort and the condition of the room is not worth what you pay for it. Additionally, the specifications that I requested when making the reservation were not available and I decided to notify it by phone and the lines did not work ... they did not notify me beforehand ... I had to go to the front desk and ask for them again. The deal was dry and disinterested. I do not recommend it
