First time going we went on a Friday night and if you don't have any coupons for a group of 6 the room was over $400 but that came with six water park passes which I was kind of expecting the water park to be a little bit bigger but wasn't bad it's not something I would go to all the time but maybe once a year to spend that kind of money because you know it cost more than $400 that would just for the room you still have to eat and other things to do so it was a expensive weekend

The service there was great but on the other hand the water park itself was not the best I've ever been to. The water park was dirty and had no good attractions on the other hand they had a lot of special events where they held little competition's and parades the visit here is better if your a child.

We had a blast. Well worth the quick staycation. Magiquest is overrated. Arcade is ehhhh..sorta expensive. We didn't purchase food but they do have a restaurant, candy shop, pizza place, & bars(drinks are $13&up). We ordered pizza hut. Alot of restaurants close by. GWL has mini bowling, mini golf, gift shop, and a fitness room. Only con is we needed extra towels and it took over an hour to receive them but overall like I said we had a BALL.

Thru the pandemic ya still gotta find a way to breathe.... This was awesome. Clean and sanitizing could be seen everywhere. I didn't take many pics because I was trying to enjoy my bday and family time.

The room was OK other than a broken TV and a housekeeper barging in on us without so much as knocking. The waterpark was nice and had a lot to do for all ages. Bring your own towel though- it is not worth checking in and out their dollar store towels. Since you can't take the towels out of the water park you get to emerge into the restaurant area, wet and cold.

The hours are pretty terrible, the place is a ghost town at 8pm. If this is a waterpark for families then it should really include families with older children as well- but no, on a good day, the waterpark closes at 9pm. Want a beer? Forget it, bars close at 8pm.

The food is where things really get bad. The wait times are atrocious. We waited 45 minutes for ONE pizza, and no apology or explanation was ever given (they ended up giving me a pizza they had sitting out waiting for people who wanted to order by the slice). The taco truck took at least 30 minutes and by the time our order was ready, half of it was cold. The Dunkin Donuts line was at least 30 people long at 9:30am on a Sunday, and they were out of both muffins and croissants.

If you love going to bed early and waiting an hour for your food with hungry tired children, this is the place for you!

Clean comfy beds. Everything's is new at this time so its clean. All the staff was great. The extra activites are so expensive for a family of 4 that we were just unable to do them. The activity passes should be where you can pick say 4 activities you want rather then a set menu

The rooms, even the fancy ones, are around the size of a hotel room with two queen beds. At the most, the size of two of those connected. Every meal is expensive. That said, there is some value in those offerings. In particular, the evening buffet is the best buffet ever. The multiple indoor activities are nice. The mini golf is a bit uninspired, but the ropes course is fun until the moment you think you are handling it well and fast, only to consistently find someone's 7 year old sprinting up behind you and waiting on an old man. A good time overall and worth it just for the memories, just make sure you have more money than you think you need.

Two room sweet was nice, but needed some repair. The lack of kids channels on TV was surprising. The water park was much smaller than I thought it would be, but we still had fun. First day in the park, the air temperature and water were cool. My two year old was shivering after a couple hours. The second day the air temperature was better, but the water temperature was still cooler than I would have liked. Outside of the park, be prepared to pay. Dinner for two adults and two children was almost $90 with tip. That did include two drinks. A bottle of soda is $2.50. Luckily there are plenty of dining options within a five minute drive. We met the resort for breakfast and lunch the next day. We will probably go back, but we will definitely check out other options.

Expensive but fun!

Expensive but fun!

Pros:

Laid back atmosphere similar to Wisconsin. Not super strict.
Kids dance party in the evening (we went Fri)
Plenty of water slides.
Wave pool!
Family water slide for 5.
Warm water park.
Hot showers in water park changing room.
Good sized locker for $15 per day.
Can stay to swim after check out.

Wolf pass: Worth it. $54 for MagiQuest (unlimited for your stay), game of bowling, climbing wall, arcade tokens (won't last you long), 1 ropes course, 1 mini golf, 1 cup candy serving, 1 ice cream. We got 2 passes and split the stuff between 5 kids. We adults used the bowling, and arcade for air hockey.

Nice room.
Food was decent, and we're food snobs.
Prices for food and drink weren't too crazy.
Breakfast buffet was good. $15 adults. $10 kids. 3 and under free. Or Dunkin.
Awesome internet in room....YouTube and Video games.

Cons:
The arcade is very expensive IMO, but they always are. Be advised, your kids WILL get tired at the waterpark and will want to do all the other stuff. We initially said NO, but then we gave in because not much else to do. Just bring a lot of $ and have fun. It will cost you!

For the proce we paid, I expected more. There wasn't a lot of slides here compared to the one in Wisconsin. I was expecting more entertaining rides and attractions probably won't be coming back. I would suggest this place for small children and not for teens they don't have a blend of fun for all ages. The facility as a whole was beautiful and staff was great just not ideal for teens.

Great family get away. The resort was clean, the staff friendly and to food good. The Waterpark was the perfect size for our young kids. The only complaint I might have is that the water wasn't quite as warm as I would have liked it, but otherwise it was a great stay!

So funny how they got so many great reviews here when all of the people around me complained how cold the water park was! When it was key lime cove it used to be 88 degrees but they said it is 84 degrees now but only it feels like late 70s. Some people were just fine wearing their winter jacket on inside the water park. How would the little kids swim in here? especially during the winter months?? The waters are really cold too it only took 20 mins for my daughters lips to turn blue. What a nice way to catch a cold when our family wanted a nice winter vacation. Never coming back here

I m giving this rating for a couple reasons. I m talk about the best part first. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. They have a lot of activities for children. The decorations was well put together. They had yoga for my oldest daughter. The swimming area was very clean and secure. There was a lot of life guards on each part of the area. They were really watching and making sure no one got hurt. Great customer service when I checked into the hotel. My room was clean and nice. Now, the downside of my last night stay. Someone came to my door at 1:45 A.M. How is that even okay? That s an security issue, no call or anything. Talking about my daughter and the tv is to loud. My daughter is two years old. They could have called my room phone for that at this type of hour. I am a paying customer with a young child. Kids aren t always quiet. When calling the front desk. They said something they received noise complaints in this area. They said it was door slamming. Two different stories were being told. The front desk stated that to accommodate the other people on the floor, they would have asked me to come to the lobby with my child. How is that okay to say to a paying customer? You would really ask to come out of my paying room to please please someone else. Why did I pay for a room? Then stated they have an 11:00 P.M noise policy. I was never told about no policy, nor is it posted in my room. This policy isn t posted around the hotel. I m on vacation, I have spent over 400 hundred dollars in this hotel. I am dissatisfied now that my two year old can t be herself. Don t bring young babies or kids to this hotel. They will ask you to take your child to the lobby. I was having a great time and until I was mishandled by management.

Nice place to have a little family getaway close to home. Definitely nicer/cleaner than key lime cove. Glad to have an indoor waterpark nearby to take the kids. Disappointed that there was no hot tub for the adults to relax in. Hopefully they will think about adding an adult only hot tub in the future. Temperature in waterpark was good, water for the most part was tolerable. Rooms were nice, the separate room for kids is a great feature. Having a safe in the room would have been nice. Heater in room was acting crazy, would randomly start blowing out cold air, like the AC would kick on, for no reason, when it was barely 30 degrees outside. Patio was nice feature, but costs more for the room. Beds were comfortable. Restaurants and arcade were extremely expensive, but convenient. However, the lodge is close to many different restaurants, fast food, and shopping centers. My 9 year old son really enjoyed the MagiQuest, but tween daughter not so much lol. PawPass that is offered was decent, and fairly priced. In the end, the kids had a great time and that's all that matters really. Would only recommend to stay 2 nights, 3 at the most, due to being very expensive, especially if you have more than 2 kids. You are definitely paying resort prices. Suggest to bring your own breakfast foods, stuff for sandwiches, drinks, and snacks. Mini fridge in room was bigger then most. We will definitely go back in the future, but will plan a little better, as this was a last minute trip. All in all, everyone had a good time, and happy kids means happy parents! Cheers!!

Nice for families, but be aware of the spendings inside. Food, games and souvenirs are priced as if you were at the fair. Surely a second revenue leg in key lime. Place appears safe with lots of lifeguards. Wouldn't go for more than a night as the thrills wear out fast.

Great place to visit. The arcade is fun the food is good. Yeah some stuff is expensive but it's a good time. The indoor water park is awesome and the life guards are very helpful especially the female ones. If your on the fence just go it's a blast.

Everything raised was over priced , the new staff in very rude they were completely empty and wouldnt let me purchase a late check out, the suites were dirty there was stains on the sheets the water park is dirty and full of chlorine and the floor is slimy from lack of cleaning. They took out most of the arcade games and replaced them with gambling games. The place is dusty I dont recommend anyone to go especially if you have allergies ,my son had to breakouts.THE ONLY GOOD IS THE BARNWOOD Restaurant.Dony waste your money GO TO WISCONSIN DELLS INSTEAD.

This place was a lot of fun but for teenagers this is like half a day's worth of fun then I got board and so did my friends. Also note the deepest water was 5ft that's not good when your 6'1 but for younger kids it would be a blast.

Way nicer than key lime cove. Plenty of staff. No issues finding a chair by the pool. Great selection of slides for youth and adults. Plenty of food selections. Rock wall and obstacle course and other activities for the kids. New outdoor pool. Wave pool. Lazy river. Slides. Wolves oh.my.

This place is fantastic! When we first pulled up, I was a bit worried by the size of the resort and the number of cars in the parking lot. I figured we'd be cramped and rushed during our stay. Just the opposite! Even though there were a lot of people, there was plenty of room to move in the water park and arcade. We were seated immediately for dinner, ice cream, and breakfast.

The water park was fun for the entire family, although our little one was too small to experience everything. You only have to be 42" to ride almost everything. There are lifeguards everywhere to help you feel comfortable having your kids playing in water.

In addition to the water park, there is a huge arcade for the kids. There's also an ice cream parlor, pizzeria, hot dog stand, and a sit down restaurant.

Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure.

The place is very nice especially if you want to have some fun with kids. The waterpark provides all kinds of activities for different age groups. There are lockers, towels, showers, fast food. So may just come for a day if you don't want to stay for the night. One thing I would recommend from my own experience: do not include any passes or food packages at booking! You may always get what you need when you are already on the sight, otherwise it's complicated to simply keep track of your expenses.

It was very fun going, but the arcade was high priced and the water park was amazing the Big Bowl was the best water slide. The rooms were so clean and they had a safe to put money, electronics, etc. but the arcade is really bad. It is fun for the whole family! (We are totally going next year!)

Such a fun place to stay!! Feels like you are on vacation and far from home without any of the travel. Hotel is focused around young kids and has so many various activities through out the day and night to keep them busy. Definitely planning a second stay soon!

Stayed Sunday through Wednesday family of five 3 kids from 13 months to 4 years old. It wasn't a horrible trip but we won't return. It started wonderfully! We were able to check in early and the room was clean, pools were great we had a blast.
Until the second day.. we got a voicemail while at the pool that we needed to vacate our room immediately due to a leak in the building they had shut off our water we had to leave the pool for three hours to pack move and unpack for a family of five staying three nights 4 days. They moved us to an upgraded but unclean room!
Pretzel sticks around 2 sides of the bed, stubbly hairs in the sink, and dried splattered toothpaste on the faucet and mirror. Then there was a large trail of dried toothpaste in the other sink... they gave us additional money off, had someone go clean the room immediately and offered us late check out and a free breakfast... but the next day three of the five of us woke up with sore throats and runny noses.. I can't prove it but I'm sure we picked up something left behind from the last guest... gross... we went to the breakfast and it was terrible!!! All you can eat buffet... none of us had more than one bite of anything... eggs soo salty. We went to the pizza joint. The crust cheese and sauce all had the same consistency like biting into a piece of sponge cake.
It's not a terrible place and they have some star employees here as well. Tons of activities for older kids 4-10 and it's for the most part clean and cool.
The food we tried was bad ,no sit down places due to the kids, but the pool side places and smaller restaurants were terrible. I wasted around $135 on food that went straight in the trash.
If you would have asked me about the place on day one or even two they would have gotten five stars... but the longer we stayed the worse it got.

We are leaving tomorrow morning tired and sick..
I recommend you find somewhere else it's worth the extra $100 / night to be in a clean room and be able
To eat on the resort.

Good - indoor water park, arcade, & guest services. My son really enjoyed the themed room with double bunk beds.

Not so good - in room air conditioner is loud which can make it hard to sleep and bed is too soft imo

The hotel was good. The staff was very nice, pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. Beds were okay, not the greatest but we were just there to sleep. We spent most of the time at the water park. The park itself was fun. I wish the wave pool was larger and they had a better organization to the tubes for the lazy river, waiting for a tube took forever. Overall we had fun, glad we only stayed for a day and a half. Anything longer would have been too much.
