We love staying with key lime cove. They have so many thing to do you,you don't even have to leave the hotel.2 restrants shoping steel treats,and the rooms are top notch....the staff is friendly and helpful and always willing to go out of there way to make sure you have a good time

Staff is not friendly. They made me feel like my stay there is an inconvenience to them. Probably won't go back.

We had an amazing family mini vacation. Kids had a blast, rooms were very nice and comfy, waterpark had plenty for kids of all ages. Love the decor inside. Just booked another weekend price is a bit high but it's the closest waterpark to us so I guess you can't have it all.

Fantastic rooms! The water park is a little underwhelming, and the service at D.W. Anderson left much to be desired. Overall a pleasant weekend getaway, anyhow

Visited Great Wolf Lodge in Gurnee Illinois Saturday December 15 and Sunday December 16th and had a great time until we saw a bed bug on the bed at 3am the day we were scheduled to checkout. Staff was notified and we were given a different room and complimentary breakfast. However, Monday morning I noticed multiple bed bug bites on my body. Fortunately no bites on the children but still traumatic experience. I do not recommend staying at the Great Wolf at any location. I live in Ohio and didn t stay at the one there due to recent infestation of bedbugs reported. Seems like Great Wolf Lodge is becoming synonymous with bedbugs.

The hotel was very kid oriented. Everything from dining options, activities and the rooms. Loved the water park. The staff was very friendly. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

Great place for a destination! If you like water parking, shopping or want to head over to Six Flags; this is your get away choice.

This is one of the best indoor waterparks I've been too. Very family oriented and the staff is amazing. Our room was a nice size and clean. Coffe in the room was free!

Toilet didn t flush and it took a day for anyone to come fix it. Made reservations at Barnwood restaurant and after 55 minutes (they said it would be 45) we finally got a table. Took another 30 minutes to get food and then 2 of the orders were wrong. All food places were very slow even with no lines. One of our magic quest wands didn t work but no one cared. It was just a very inefficiently run place. Great Wolf in Wisconsin is so much better run or the Kalahari at the dells is great too

Best family getaway! My kids love it and have a hard time leaving ! Great service !

This place is amazing the water park, including a wave pool and lazy river and activities for kids of all ages.
There is a giant fireplace in the grand foyer which hosts activities for younger kids dance Party, Storytime , crafts, kids yoga!!
The give you towels which you check out and return.
The rooms were very clean and spacious.
They offer a Dunkin Donuts for coffee and donuts, which opens at 630am-1pm.
They have pizza place as well as an ice cream, candy store, gift shops shop..many options.
You can also bring your own food to keep in your room, which has a mini fridge and coffee pot.

Nice place to go they just messed up my room reservation but I would go again.

Dirty rooms, and you'll spend a fortune there. The water park itself was nice and my kids had fun but the cleanliness of rooms is very questionable. I couldn't use cash there at the arcade or vending machines.

Second visit since Great Wolf, Inc, bought out Keylime Cove. Took the kids there for their school fall break (checked in Sunday/left Monday to avoid the weekend rate).
The location has been largely redecorated since it was KeyLime Cove -which is not a bad thing - although some of the old activities were more family and wallet-friendly. New carpeting, comfy beds (much better than Keylime Cove) the rooms were nice and clean.

I would suggest you avoid staying overnight on Saturday because of the crowd. We went overnight on Sunday and stayed thru late departure Monday.

The waterpark has been remodeled and has a good size wave pool at the back of the waterpark. I also liked that they had two family rides in the back by the wave pool that can fit as many as five people at once. Both of those were great & easy to get in & out of.

The changing rooms have been completely redone to and are an improvement over the old ones.

The food was good - but expensive.

They also have lots of extra things to do besides the waterpark like arcade, climbing walls, magic quest, etc. Plus a bunch of other stuff just to keep an eye out for.

On check out day you can have front desk hold your bags until ready to leave.

It's a heaven for kids. Value wise I knocked off one star. It's very pricey.

Very nice rooms , water park was great ! There is something for everyone ! Wish that posted the events in more spots. 3, 5 and 16 year all had fun! Thanks for a great vacation!!!!

We are usually big fans of GWL...BUT the party reservation was a huge mess. Our coordinator was unresponsive to questions/concerns, and I had no idea what we were getting for the party. She ended up charging me over $700 for a party that should've only had had a balance of $150+. I had to talk with the director to get a refund and attention on the issue. Check the fine print!!!

Beautiful hotel, indoors and out. plenty of fun activities for kids to do throughout the day and in the evening. Our basic room had a refrigerator, but we were a little disappointed that it did not have a microwave. Food and drink purchases inside the lodge are quite costly. The waterpark was loads of fun, and the staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Went on a weekday. It was like we had the place to ourselves - it was great! Rooms clean.

Horrible! our room had a bed bug, when I brought it to the management, they switched our room. A month later, my kids mattresses were infested with those Nasty Bed Bugs. I called to advise them. They told me they didn't have Bed bugs and couldn't help me. SO if you plan on bringing home new pets and a headache, Don't go to Key Lime Cove

We had a wonderful time! My only criticism is that the food was too pricey.

We had a great weekend at GW. Took advantage of a special they were running and booked a last minute trip. Checked in with no issues Friday evening. Took maybe 10-15 minutes. I had done the pre-check-in online the day before. Room was clean and ready when we arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful at check in and throughout the lodge. Plenty to do for fun. We enjoyed the arcade and our 4 year old son was able to cash in for a decent prize. Not just a couple pieces of candy. Food was what I would expect for a water park. Appreciated the alternatives to just pizza and burgers. Water park was awesome. Appreciated that it wasn't chaotic. Parents had an eye on their kids and staff kept things safe. Big kids weren't plowing over little kids. There's plenty of space and plenty of chairs as well. Barnwood for dinner had great food and service. Pretty nice that you can take advantage of the water park as long as you want until it closes the day you check out of your room.

It was very fun for my son and wife, we swam for hours and had a lot to eat. What I liked was the arcade and the Barndoor's food.

Very nice but very pricey. No extras are included so bring lots of extra money if you want to participate in the additional activities, buy food there, or buy souvenirs. The rooms are nice and clean. Waterpark is fun, clean, and plenty to do for all ages. Wish it was more affordable for all incomes. Sad that it's not.

Nice rooms, kid-friendly, and the water park is one of the cleanest I've seen.

The room service doesn t answer, I ve called multiple times and had to hang up due to the wait without answer. My room wasn t tidy at all when I came back to it. Only fresh towels were placed, the garbage wasn t changed, wet towel pile we left was still there, the only reason how we knew anyone came at all were the new towels that were placed. First time at a hotel where the room wasn t cleaned throughout the day.

Lots of fun and different activities for kids and family.

The great wolf lodge in Illinois was very nice but we were unsatisfied with the fact that we asked for early check in, a microwave, and a crib for an infant and we were assured to have these accommodations; yet they didn't page us when the room was ready nor did we have a microwave or a crib. They did bring the crib after asking for a third time.

With a Groupon it is a perfect single night getaway. Bring your own food to offset food prices, but overall excellent experience!

I've previously stayed at the Great Wolf in Wisconsin Dells, and loved it. I even reccomended great wolf lodge to my extended family, believing the great times would carry over to all Great Wolf Lodges. I was wrong. If you are able to drive to another great wolf location I would do so. The water park was extremely small, and I'm not sure what the reasoning is or if it was an uncommon occurrence, but the water was cold! And I'm wondering if it was just to combat this, or if it's normal, but the air in the water park was extremely hot. You might as well be in a steam sauna. If you're not swimming or get out of the water for very long get ready to sweat.

I also found several stains on the bedding in our room, along with junk and old food behind the bed. I get that it might not be an area regularly cleaned, but honestly I've seen Super 8's with cleaner rooms. Also I was only looking back there for a spare outlet as there wasn't one near the pullout sofa.

I do not reccomended this location by any means.

Such a clean and nice family place some family vacation places are kinda dirty and kids everywhere not here.

Keylime cove was an average indoor water park. It was great for children under 11 years old though.

Very disappointed.. Went in the middle of the week during winter and most of the shops were closed.. Wasn't very clean compared to previous visits. Water temperature was a bit cold.

We really enjoyed our weekend get away here at Great Wolf Lodge. The employees were friendly and helpful. The water park was great and clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I posted a video on my YouTube channel of our stay. Search up Lord Of Pits.

Out of all the great wold lodges we have been to, this was by far the worst. The staff is rude, lack of security, and the rules change from day to day. Would not waste my money on this location again.

Liked it a lot only an hour away from Chicago they have lots of rides for adults and kids

Very friendly hospitality staff. Above average when considering cleanliness. When searching for our lost cell phone in the kids den it was very evident that the cleaning staff does not vacuum very well. Food was delicious from pizza to tacos and beyond. Would of enjoyed more personable service at the hungry wolf. Will definitely return

Rooms were clean. Waterpark was good for younger kids. Special juggling entertainment was very funny. Buffet breakfast was average food but friendly service.

Nice new lodge beautiful place. The water park compared to wisconsin dells is much smaller and does not have a hot tub. Food was way overpriced and honestly sucked. $10 dry burger that came with a bun. I know this place needs to make a few bucks to keep running, i would advice u to bring ur own food or take in the places around you. Had a great time, kids loved it thats what mattered most.

First time at the Great Wolf Lodge, and my kids and I had a blast! There was so much to do, and see.

Had a good time with our New Years eve stay. The only issues we had were the the dinner buffet food could have been better and the coffee was terrible. The events they had for the kids were good and the Waterpark was great as well.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin suite. The boys had their own cabin "nook" with windows & their own tv. It slept 3 people, on a bunk bed & single bed.

The staff were friendly, helpful & quick. Gave us tips for to save money too. We loved Magiquest! For you non-Magi, that's basically a scavenger hunt with wands & electronic displays. If you already have a wand, it's only $15 to play for your whole stay! We completed several quests in under 2 hours.

I really enjoyed the waterpark when it was KeyLime Cove. The additions that Great Wolf Lodge added are amazing! Two giant outdoor slides with a raft carried by conveyor belt! Plus an outdoor pool and wave pool. Totally worth the money.

Well done on the buyout and remodel! Will always be known as Key Lime Cove to us, but we'll allow the name change lol.

Very clean lots of staff... Web site miss leads on where wee ones can go.. 39 inch four year old actually only could ride three of the structure slides.. Slides that show family s on raft, need another 3 inches.. they should show all rides in hieghts requirements on internet. This would have saved us hundreds of dollars and tears... That being said, bed time stories made up fer a lot..

Like the changes. Arcade got a little bit smaller but could spend two days easy without being bored. Many activities all ages.

Great place for kids in the winter. Fun water park but small and not overwhelming, cute arcade, Florida resort type theme throughout, cute theme restaurants and other shopping. Overall, a fun weekend with little kids.

Room was ready 30 minutes late and luggage was not delivered until I asked for it from the front desk around 530. They did compensate our time by giving us late checkout. Around 1115a housekeeping came in the room and though he apologized he was not told we had late checkout and showed us on his handheld device we were scheduled to leave. The kids had a great time, which is really all that matters to me. Considering the cost to stay, they should be a little more considerate being on time. Also, although the kids were going on and out of the park yesterday, this morning the people at the door were giving them a hard time about not having an adult. They followed all the age and life guard rules that were posted, even after my sister told the door people they were of age. The manager offered the kids free obstacle course or rock climb, but I declined only because of our time limits. Finally, the front desk didn't answer when we called one time and another time they picked the phone up and hung up right away. Again, kids had a great time. Just a few things they could work on.

Lot of family fun. Huge 24 hr arcade, water park for all ages, daily activities, stores, many different places to eat inside and nearby the hotel.

Starting to get a little bit ghetto here, be careful. I noticed the first time I came. The second time was pretty obvious.

It was a great time. I love the two new water slides. I came here a lot when it was still Key Lime Kove. They kept the old slides abd added a two new ones, and they were so fun. I would totally recommend that someone goes there!

There are many activities to do for kids great water park

Perfect location for an Illinois Staycation! The little touches throughout the park make it stand out from all the other waterparks in the midwest. best part was by far the lack of chlorine smell which is generally overpowering. We had a great time and will visit again!

Had a few issues with my room; clogged toilet, hair on bed (which seems to be inevitable bc that's always an issue when I go to a hotel), hair in the bathroom AFTER they serviced the room (maybe it came from a broom..idk), room was never stocked with water (I was told that I had to purchase it from their store [I did] until the second to last day I happen to see the cleaning crew stocking rooms with water. I was kind of annoyed. Outside my room issues, the kids had fun and that is what matters. Also, the staff was nice

Had a great time here! Great wolf Lodge offers a wide selection of activities to do while you stay here and it does not disappoint, the indoor water park is fun and has a bunch of attractions so you have more to do than just swimming such as slides.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 days here on a weekday. It wasn't as crowded I suppose as it would be on a weekend. Our room was extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable. There is so much to do around the area including Gurnee Mills and Six Flags. Along with many restaurants to choose from. All of the staff we dealt with was extremely friendly.
The pools were clean and fun. We had a great time. Can't wait to come back!

This place is stunningly awesome. Our room was great, nice and clean. The waterpark there is AWESOME, better than some outdoor parks. Bring our own food though, food is hella expensive there.

We love Great Wolf Lodge. We had a wonderful weekend for my grandbaby Zachary 3rd birthday.

Resort is great but food service is terrible. Took 30 minutes for them to make us chicken tenders for the kids

This place doesn t even deserve a one star experience.

Upon not being able to locate my ID, I asked if my friend that was also on the reservation could use her ID and they refused. They only accommodated for an hour water park pass until my friend got there, since she was still an hour away to provide her ID. They then mentioned I had to cancel the entire reservation and put it on a card under her name. I mentioned I had cold food with me so an hour free pass to the water park wasn t being accommodating. The front desk manager named Devin got upset for me swearing from being upset, and kicked us out. He escorted me out along with my two kids and called security and didn t accommodate us whatsoever. Very rude and walked up to us outside and got in my face in front of my kids. There needs to be a better manager who is kind and compassionate and understanding. Instead he got in my face in front of my kids. Very unprofessional and rude. He also told me what kind of parent was I to be swearing in front of my children. Very unacceptable.

Awesome place for the kids! So many activities to do on top of the huge waterpark!

I love this place, and I've been to a lot of indoor water park resorts. Just driving up you feel like you have arrived somewhere really special. And you have! The place looks, sounds, and even smells like you're on a tropical Florida vacation. My kids, granted their young, LOVE the water park. Oh, and the pizza delivered to your room is great after a long day of play. We stop by, order our pizza, and then head up to our room to bathe the kids. Pizza arrives hot, delicious, and just as the kids are getting out of the bath. I'd recommend KeyLime Cove to anyone!

Place was great all except for angry lady that worked at Baskin Robbins. She had a nasty attitude on 12-14-19 during the evening shift.

Very disappointed in the size and overall feel of the Wolf Den "suite" for what I paid. It really is no different than a regular hotel room. Extremely expensive should match what you get for your money and the room was a major failure. Water park is decent. Staff is friendly.

Took grandkids for overnite visit on Easter weekend which was last day before permanently closing. We had a great time on the water and the food was expensive but ok. Side note:Some other company bought them out and plan on doing a total renovation and expansion. Enjoyed the stay but someone stole my electronics, jewelry. Bye Key Lime and my sense of security

The place was packed! It's a little hard to get some with so many people, but the room was clean and the service was great.
