Caravan Coffee and Dessert Review

Had a lovely lunch here with friends and family. Food was tasty, service was friendly however a little on the slow side.

The baked eggs are their star dish and what has led us to go, they were good but it was perhaps too much tomato for my taste at 10 in the morning. On the other hand, the hot cake looked very good, I want to try again !!

Juices, coffee and atmosphere very well, in fact it has been one of those few places where we have been able to make a desktop without being thrown out immediately!

This restaurant has the most overpriced food for such small portions. The taste of my meal was forgettable. Some members of the party I was with were also less than impressed with their meals. I ordered the Tofu dish (small plate). I wasn't expecting an ice cubed size worth of Tofu, especially silken Tofu. I asked for a Rose spritzer. It wasn't very nice.
The only positive was the service from gentlemen serving us.
Never again!

Only marking as a 1 star because this is not a caravan restaurant. It seems to be their head office, or coffee roasting location. The closest actual restaurant is located at granary Square near kings cross.

A great place for brunch in a recently renovated part of London close to King's Cross and St. Pancras stations. I had a Bloody Mary here, which was expertly prepared and delicious.

Brilliant. Spend 27 hours in a plane to fly from Wellington to London, to find my self in a nz owned restaurant ordering a Wellington brewed beer. Fantastic food, great atmosphere. 10/10 A++

I've been a couple of times here and always had a great time. Today is was a total mess, ordered a coffee a good 15min before the food, then the food arrived and i had to ask for the coffee again. Another 10min later it arrived. The place was not full so manageable to get things done in time. The Caravan Fry is as well a bit scarce. 2 eggs on toast with one tiny sausage, one piece of bacom, one mushroom and half a tomato. The service seemed to be totally lost in what they were doing.

Although it's a great location, the whole vibe is a bit pretentious - the menu isn't clear what you're actually ordering and doesn't highlight what's vegetarian (limited/no vegan). Staff were pretty slow to serve and the prices were too high for what you get. Overall wouldn't recommend this place.

Love the new Central London Savoy hotel strand coffee bar. One of my favourite speciality coffee shops. Perfect caffeinated aromatic blends. Excellent knowledge coffee geek baristas. Update: went again (against my better judgement). Front of house staff were rude to us. Coffee took forever, again. Just not worth the time or price. I won't go there again.

Large space and not crowded. Coffee and simple breaky/brunch hit the spot.

My husband and I enjoy Caravan s coffee very much, however, after our experience today at their Granary Square location - we will not return and neither will we reccommend to anyone. We went there this morning with my parents and our 6 month old baby to sit down for coffee. The host sat us down very fast (great) and the waitress took our drink orders right away(so far so good) - we told her we were just having coffee and she smiled and said of course, and put our orders in. About fifteen minutes later, I am about to start breast feeding (covered, if that matters) and a different waitress comes and tells us we need to leave as they only serve people who are eating as well, during brunch hours. I m not upset with this rule . I m upset that the error was on them -the host and the first waitress said nothing about this rule -we would have ordered something had we known. More so, it was their error, and they were punishing us for their mistake. The worst part was that I needed to feed my baby. And not to mention we hadn t even finished our coffee! Again, the coffee itself was good, but having my family get kicked out was embarrassing and poor judgement. I reccommend you going to Ozone Coffee Roasters instead for a better overall experience.

There is always a queue at this place so be prepared to wait. I was treated well in the queue with a complementary coffee.

We were seated at a sharing table which was plenty for three.

Great selection on the menu with creative dishes over the common brunch fare. I opted for the Green Skillet Eggs which was great. Good coffee and a decent atmosphere inside.

Had a business meeting with two Americans who were also equally impressed. Food was delicious and the negroni I had was spot on. My espresso was perfectly balanced with a high level of sweetness in the cup.

The food was fresh but the menu doesnt make sense. Expensive plates have less food than cheaper options. The service is quite unfriendly. No smile no true care. The place though is beautiful nicely located. The coffee is very good as well.

Brilliant range of freshly cooked healthy food to suit everyone

Probably the best coffee I've had in London (and I spend half of my time in coffee shops). Very light and fruity tasting espresso. Friendly staff. I will definitely be going back often.

What can l say...l could eat this food every day. Great food, service and atmosphere.

Great food and ambience. Not sure why they make people queue up for such a long time outside and when you get in, the place is half empty anyway.

I ve been here a couple times during my visits to London. It s usually out of the way, but worth the trek. Great food served all day, coffee, and drinks at night to match.
