Beth Hough Review of KeyLime Cove Water Resort

The room was OK other than a broken TV and a housekeeper barging in on us without so much as knocking. The waterpark was nice and had a lot to do for all ages. Bring your own towel though- it is not worth checking in and out their dollar store towels. Since you can't take the towels out of the water park you get to emerge into the restaurant area, wet and cold.
The hours are pretty terrible, the place is a ghost town at 8pm. If this is a waterpark for families then it should really include families with older children as well- but no, on a good day, the waterpark closes at 9pm. Want a beer? Forget it, bars close at 8pm.
The food is where things really get bad. The wait times are atrocious. We waited 45 minutes for ONE pizza, and no apology or explanation was ever given (they ended up giving me a pizza they had sitting out waiting for people who wanted to order by the slice). The taco truck took at least 30 minutes and by the time our order was ready, half of it was cold. The Dunkin Donuts line was at least 30 people long at 9:30am on a Sunday, and they were out of both muffins and croissants.
If you love going to bed early and waiting an hour for your food with hungry tired children, this is the place for you!
