Our experience at the Kendall Regional Hospital was of the highest quality, despite having entered through emergencies, we had always heard negative things about this hospital but to tell the truth they are exceeded our expectations, if I could give them 20 stars I would do it, they were all very attentive, Doctors as paramedical staff, nurses, etc. We congratulate you and I hope you continue like this .. !! Thank you for all the help you gave to my mother.

First off let me state that this hospitals nick name is "el mata gente". That should give you a clue to the kind of treatment you receive here
. I took my cousin who is from New Jersey here because this is the only hospital his insurance covers. When we got there they said they had a room for him. When they let him the said the room that they had for him was actually full, so my cousin was on a hospital bed in the middle of the hallway. After 10 minutes a nurse gave took his vitals and looked and his throat with a pen that had a light in the back. After that we were in the hallway for about 20 minutes before they let us in a room that took them about 5 seconds to clean after discharging someone else. After waiting about 2 hours a doctor finally came in. And she looked at his throat with the flashlight from an IPhone when she had the tool doctors always use right next to me. She said he looked fine & that she was going to give him medication for the pain (because he was sick and was having body aches). After my aunt called and told my mom to ask for a throat culture the NURSE, not the doctor said okay and did one. The results were HE HAD STREP !!! So she almost released him with step. To top it off the nurse disposed of the needles he used on my cousin in the trash can! We invented biohazard waste for a reason ! Besides that the doctors and nurse are hard to get a hold of and have major attitudes. Understaffed, uniformed, and lack of communication are three words that come to head when I think of this hospital. Being a premed student and seeing this makes me sick to my stomach.

I can say that unfortunately in this one area there is this hospital having trauma center, the hospital leaves much to be decear first place is dirty, everything lis floors full of papers, bathrooms all urinated on the floor and full of papers the room we got on the unit icu equally horrible Olia, I can say that the staff treatment was normal but what I really annoying is that doctors will have held and do not come to give information yesterday no way anyone all day come to make blood tests whose results do not tell my husband spent three days here and is only taking taylenor serum that had they took him away and we are only here going discomforts yesterday me was gonna take home under my responsibility, but the nurse me he said'll try to get a doctor to come and talk to you and never appeared to vary and today at 4 and 30 blood came to get, do not let it pricked again for anything if before noon nobody passes me I'll take my house bad experience led me to this hospital a place where many people come with many diseases and poor igiene having and doctors do not give to people's attention they deserve now when charging there if you spend it until with services than ever recivistes and people who nu ca step where you were cinceramente should investigate what is really what happens in the hold xq hospitals people for no reason xq any laboratory tests make it taste worse by hospital I visited

these stars are for the amazing surgeons, i cant remember their names :(((, who helped my boyfriend and his night nurse Nick who was so caring and attentive!!! if it wasnt for them the rating would be much lower , it didnt feel right to give this hospital 5 stars not even 4. the hospital for me honestly gets a 3 but these stars go directly to the surgeons that helped him and Nurse Nick on the fourth floor !!!! they deserve 5 stars also Dr.Aviles who helped him in the ER shes so sweet. thank you so much for helping him fast and efficetly
Please read all of this. Do not go to this hospita...
Please read all of this. Do not go to this hospital, and if you have any friends and loved ones who work here you should know how this place is run. As someone who works in healthcare, I have never seen a more dysfunctional hospital or medical setting. It is severely under staffed, current staff is overworked, many of the employees are rude and that s if they acknowledge you, most likely due to the symptoms of the hospital s frugality.
I went here one night with a HA, body aches and N&V. The ED was not packed, but everyone that was there was complaining that they had been there for hours and should have gone to Baptist. The man next to me for 2/3 hrs I was there(and he had been there for over an hr prior) was getting up every 5 min to go and pee because he was in so much pain. He would walk by the sign in desk on his way to the BR, where the staff is standing there laughing and one nurse is massaging another staff member s shoulders, with a look of pure pain on his face, hunched over with a pee cup that despite the maybe 20 times I saw him go, only had a few drops of urine in it and they didn t care. One woman went to the counter crying asking, why is no one being taken back? Can I please just get some Tylenol? I am in so much pain please! They wouldn t give her Tylenol, because they didn t have enough staff to have someone approve it. She asked if there weren t enough beds, to which the man at the counter replied, no, we have plenty of open beds, we just don t have enough staff. Ok so the ED isn t packed, there are plenty of open beds and yet the reason everyone was being forced to wait hours and hours was because there isn t enough staff?! Meanwhile all I see is employees standing around talking, giving each other back massages, one nurse was shuffling along like a snail. I have never seen someone walk so slow and this woman is working in an ED. I wasn t even acknowledged when I went to the counter and the man at the desk wasn t helping anyone. No one asked me what was wrong or for my insurance. One kid was there by himself, had a broken leg and crutches. When they finally came to get him, the nurse didn t even look at him and rudely told him let s go and walked away w/o him leaving me, a complete stranger, to carry his things since she, despite her empty hands, left a kid who can barely walk to carry all of his things.
I have nurse/tech/doc friends who work here and the things they tell me about the mistreatment of the staff and residents is inhumane and heartless. They do not care about burnout or the wellness of their staff. They "help" others at the cost of their employees mental and physical health. The only thing they care about is $$$. They take money from their staff(pay cuts and min wage), get paid to have free labor with their residents/interns(Medicare pays for residents and the hospital still takes over half of what they are given for each resident and this is nowhere near where their mistreatment ends despite guidelines), and they perform tests/procedures that are NOT necessary in order to bill pts at a higher rate and meet quotas. ex a tracheotomy, even if there are better and less risky/scarring options just to make a quota. A friend in the ED said docs are in such a rush or huff that a simple facial suture turns into them impatiently stapling the wound closed making the patient look like Frankenstein and more likely to have scarring. Hospitals should be run like well-oiled machines. This place is running more like a Ford Pinto that at any moment could burst into flames. Stop paying your money grabbing figure head chairmen and high up admin seven figures and put it towards better staff/training, more staff so current employees aren t overworked, higher pay, improving the quality of life in and outside of work for your staff(employee wellness should be a high concern in ALL departments in such a high stress and hr demanding facility). Stop treating your staff and patients like a paycheck and start showing them the caring, selfless nature medicine needs and the respect and treatment they deserve.

This hospital was responsible for the inevitable death of my cousin and to add insult to injury they "lost" her belongings. What a joke of a hospital. I don't even live in Florida but from what I've read, this place seems incompetent, unreliable and insane.

My daughter and I were involved in a car accident on the day of her birthday, she was in a very bad condition when we arrived at Kendall regional but the care and compassion given to her and me by all the nurses, doctors, and all staff was amazing. The nurses were all attentive; the doctors, specially doctor Torres the pediatrician, explained what was happening every step of the way. They even sang her happy birthday, gave her gifts, and made her stay unforgettable. Ariana stopped by and made slime with her, sang some songs with her and always cheered her up. I will never forget how I was treated in such hard times and will always thank them for all they did. Today she was discharged and I want to thank everyone responsible for her recovery. You were ALL amazing!!

The worst hospital ever. I have called several times to receive an update on my aunt and NO ONE has been able to give me an update. The girl who answers the phone in the ER has no manners at all. They keep telling me to callback in half an hour and then they hang up on me. Spoke with the nurses supervisor who has 0 of bedside manners, and 0 ethics. She shouldn t be a nurse. She says I was being rude and that s why no one wanted to speak with me. My rudeness may have come from 12 times calling to get update on my aunt to no result. Then I speak with a person with unethical values, question to ask me if I have a POA for my aunt. Since when do you need a POA to receive an update on a patients health?! This is a horrible hospital. The worst ever. Shame on all who work there. Will be reporting to ACHA

HORRIBLE< HORRIBLE phone service. How can a person possibly be there in ICU since last week and the patient isn't in the system? And then they need a CODE to transfer you? Wow! I just read the reviews...ALL negative, I am glad I am not the only one that sees how much they suck!

I came to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. After a few tests they told me I had a fatty liver and sent me home. Luckily, a friend of mine, who is a nurse, told me to go to Baptist. Long story short, I had to have emergency gall bladder surgery. Do not go to Kendall Regional. I am not sure how it is they are still in business.

Baffled by the lack of professionalism and responsibility by the staff. My great aunt passed away last night & they failed to notify our family of it or the fact that her body was deteriorating the day before. When my family got to the hospital they showed no compassion or emotion for the situation. Or apologize for their huge mistake. Which is entirely against the law & the policies. Also had the wrong records of the patient. HORRIBLE experience never going there again. If you care for your loved ones, don t take them there.

Had to wait for an additional 7 hours in recovery room waiting for a room. What should have been a 2 hours stay in recovery after surgery, became an excruciating 9 hours, even though I kept hearing the room has been assigned to me but is waiting to be cleaned up. 5 hours went by waiting for the room to be cleaned up. Once in my private room service was good, but that experience took away all the good. I m not looking forward picking this hospital again. There you have it, my honest opinion.

My grandfather was admitted to emergency with seizures. They couldn't figure out what was causing them so they placed him in an medical coma. Luckily, he was able to come out of it, but we never got a clear answer about the cause. After he came out, we noticed that his mouth was destroyed. He had clots under his tongue and ulcers all over his mouth because of the breathing tube and rough treatment. The day after the tube was removed they did a swallow test, which he failed due to inflammation caused by the tube and effects from a previous stroke. Because of this, they pushed to have a g-tube placed... not even a week after coming out of an induced coma. Two days after having the tube placed, he was practically kicked out and sent to a rehab center, only to be readmitted... luckily at South Miami this time around. Kendall Regional has the worst patient care of any hospital I know. I am sure there are some quite capable nurses and doctors there, but so far my experiences with them have left much to be desired. They really need to start giving their patients the care they deserve.

I had a great experience at the Peds ER department with my little one under the care of Dr. Proza. He not only tested my child for RSV but tested him for influenza as well! I must say that he is one of the most talented and bright young doctors that I've ever met. Dr. Proza was also very efficient with his documentation and upon questioning how he is so efficient he replied that he writes his notes like Hemingway. Thank you Kendall Regional!!!

I was hit by a truck on my motorcycle near Isla Morada and was transported to Kendall. I can't even explain how horrible my experience was there. I lost two fingers and my leg was broken and my LCL was torn. Every shift I heard different things about my condition and hardly anyone spoke good English. After surgery my hand looked worse than before I went in. There was only one night nurse the entire time I was there that was kind and spoke good English. I would never recommend anyone to go to that hospital. When I was discharged I had to fly back to Minneapolis and Delta was going to give me a comfort chair based upon my discharge papers. My discharge papers didn't mention anything about my broken leg and it said I was 5' 2" and 119 pounds. I am five seven and 180 pounds. I was told I was going to be discharged on Monday by 1 p.m. and I did not get out of there until 10:30 that night only because I rolled myself into that hallway and demanded to be released. Terrible terrible terrible.

My opinion I want to serve to improve
1- When the patient is taken from the operating room to ICU, I think they should have a specific schedule at two times of the day for a family member to receive a portion of the patient, at this time they leave you waiting, or the nurse says call in an hour , or it happens that you speak little English and you cannot know either, or how it happened to me that I called and they told me and someone called for the same.
2 - I think that in general in that hospital nobody is friendly, because you are working staff of the hospital and nobody is willing to help you or even look at you or say good morning.
3 - My newly operated uncle takes him to the living room and they don't clean him, he asks for it and they don't pay attention to him, the poor old man with a bad smell.
With all my heart, train your staff a little more ethics in their treatment and attention

What a huge opportunity you missed to cause a great impression with such a little gesture at your ER. I drove by with a light pressure in my head and asked for a simple blood pressure check and you denied it stating I'd have to go through the whole check-in process and pay for it. What can I say?

Through these means I must appreciate the special care, attentions and professionalism of all Hospital Staff during my resent hospitalization. Medical Staff, Tecnichians, Kitchen Personal, Hospital Cleaning (Maintenance) Personal, their dedication in compiling with the Kendall Regional Medical Center Mission is exclusive, "Above All else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life" , is not a saying, it's a doing.
I have never seen such a committed team work functioning in such a way, that you can't find words to express.
Thank you all, you marked my life so positively.
Thank you,

I would give this place a 0 if i could , recently lost a family member to covid and was not given a call prior to atleast see or hear my family member . I called 20x and was transfered to the ER who never answered the phone , I had to call radiology to walk over and give them a note to call my phone , I do not recall the ladies name from radiology at this time but she was the only helpful person I encountered and was very sweet (5 stars to her) . I understand the rough times but we need to do better these are people's families and what me and my family experienced was unacceptable.

A few days ago I had a relative in the hospital, in intensive care (ICU), but I'm going to do the short version, my family member died, because the doctor who was in charge of the case, I care more about his lifestyle, than the family member mine ...... the kidneys did not work and therefore there was no fluid removal from the body (which is fatal) we told him to do dialysis but his answer was the following ..... (I'll wait for see if the kidneys react and start working, also if I do dialysis I can kill him) ....... my relative was 4 days in the hospital, supposedly had a bacterium (gram positive coccyx) but the accumulation of fluids in the organism, they aggravated it enormously, maybe a little value of the licensed assassin who took care of it, it would have given them more time to be able to cure it ... many will think that this I say for what happened to me, but ask any doctor that would do if the relative were theirs, they would do anything for saving it, no matter how risky the treatment ...
The caregivers were excellent. In ICU and intermed...
The caregivers were excellent. In ICU and intermediate ICU. Once transferred to the room 539 the nurses there were horrible. They lacked empathy and feelings towards their patients with the exception of an aid who was helping everyone despite the fact that some of the rooms did not fall under her assistance. I think her name was Meco.
On the rooms the nurses failed to drain my moms ostomy bag and she often had leaks. Very bad nurses on the rooms floor. One Cuban nurse lead came to my moms rooms very aggressive because she wanted to take a shower and told my sister and I bluntly in our faces that she did not care about what we had to saiy then she was trying to rear my mom into not wanting a shower by putting many obstacles in the way to justify why she should not shower. First the cardiac leads then the ostomy bag. Also on this floor the nurses congregate to talk on the hall ways and the family can hardly walk to and fro. They see you trying to maneuver to move and not even out of courtesy do they offer to move their equipment.
The hospital has gotten a lot better but there is definitely room for coaching their employees nurses and caregivers into being more compassionate and understanding with the family s who often are going through a very rough process. My mom was in a near death experience and the 4th floor nurses were cold as Ice. I did not trust leaving the hospital at night and my mom there. The nurses did not care and that was the overall message I got from the floor of Hell. 4th floor rooms.
Kudos to the ICU personnel and 3R personnel but the 4th floor regular rooms nurses nothing good to say they needs a lot of work. I am hopeful that they will get it together.

I went to the hospital for fear of being dehydrated since I am pregnant and I felt bad. It turns out they never gave me serum and if the blood tests show that I was dehydrated, I still have to pay for the GREAT ATTENTION
Honestly everything was great until they moved her...
Honestly everything was great until they moved her down from ICU. The 2 stars are for her amazing cardio, pulmonary, anesthesiology, and nursing team (Jeanette, Jillian, Benson, Marelys, Lisly, Zuzel, Wendy, and Andres!) up until today! The nurses here (stepdown/4th floor/5th floor) are way too overloaded and some literally don't care. They talk loudly at night right outside patient rooms. Good luck getting rest! Dont forget the rooms are shared on this floor! Divided by a curtain, youre forced to listen to people crying, screaming, coughing, gagging, pooping, etc. Getting water here is like making a line at Disney, you're better off just bring in a gallon from home or risk dehydration. The endoscopy department took her for a TEE at 12pm and kept her there for over 4 hours (she had been fasting since midnight) without the courtesy to call her nurse and inform them of any delays, I was worried something happened. When the nurses station finally called down, they told me she was waiting to have the procedure, only to have her call me 5 min later telling me she was recovering. So terrible miscommunications between departments.
I have only seen our nurse 2x today in her whole shift. Everything has been the nursing assistant whose name we don't even know. We have been waiting over 2.5 hours since getting the OK for a discharge for the actual discharge! The caseworker came by ONCE BEFORE THE SURGERY to let us know since we had no insurance the cost would fall on us and Medicaid wouldn't be an option... I asked to speak with someone again after the surgery since my mom came in with a severe heart attack (STEMI) which required an emergency CABG. When we got the discharge notice today, the doctor explained no one would be coming by to even help us understand our options for care afterwards. It's up to us to now WAIT for medical records so we can attempt to apply for Medicaid or disability. Apparently the hospital doesn't want to get paid. And in the meantime we have to figure out how to afford her medications and follow up appointments. They literally told us to ask friends and neighbors for some medications!!

I love my husband with all my heart but he is the most non-compliant individual I ve ever known. As a nurse, it can be very frustrating. I do my best to medically manage him myself. However, on Halloween of all days, my husband had a very high blood sugar. I asked him to come to the ED for care and surprisingly he did. He was immediately attended to in the ED. He ended up being admitted and the process from door of ED to admission was seamless. His attending physician was Dr. Godinez. I cannot say enough about that doctor. Simply phenomenal!!!! He took so much time with my husband and explained everything in such detail. He truly changed my husband around from being non-compliant to complaint. Fortunately we only had to stay overnight and it was a wonderful stay. The 5th floor staff were all fabulous. We can t say thank you enough to everyone involved in his care.

I would like to share my experience in this hospital since it was only Excellent. At first I was very afraid of giving birth in this hospital because of the bad reviews I had read. My insurance did not cover another hospital and I have no choice but to go to Kendall and so it was ... since I arrived at the registration at 1 to admit that same day because I was going to have a scheduled cesarean at 330pm Mrs. I checked in very friendly. Upon entering I was always aware of everything that was going on which gave me a lot of security and my husband accompanied me all the time. The nurses were super friendly all. They were watching me and my baby forever. They supplied everything I needed. At 530pm my baby was born and I was 4 days hospitalized there to recover and both my whole family and I were treated very well and I felt very very safe from the whole process. I share it because I heard so many negative comments about this hospital that I was very afraid to go and I personally can only say that I am very grateful to all the Kendall Regional staff for such excellent service Thank you !!!!

Never go to this hospital they have terrible physicians.

My aunt was recently admitted and doctor Ramsey was so nice to us as well as my aunt. He help get an IV when others couldn't. He personally took her to the CT scanner and always put us at ease with any concerns that we had. He even checked up on us the next day when he saw that we were still in the ER. The nursing staff were very helpful as well and we had an overall positive experience at Kendall. it would've been nice to have a private room instead of being in the ER though.

Terrible Administration. Was admitted and not 1 doctor saw me. My gynecologist called me on a Saturday letting me know my blood results from prior day & that my hemoglobin was too low at 6.18 & I needed to go to hospital immediately. I decided to go to Kendall Regional only because my doctors office is there & I wanted to get his care. He told me he would be waiting for me and all the paper work was ready. When I got there I gave them his info & that he sent me so I thought they put me under his care. After 2 blood transfusion my hemoglobin only went up to 8.7 and they kept telling me that they were calling doctor but he had not replied. I decided to call my doctors phone service since it was a Sunday to see what was going on & my doctor replied immediately even went to hospital. He was furious as he says the hospital never notified him that i was there & they put me under a in-house doctor that was not even responding to any of their calls. My doctor was unable to do anything as he was practically a visitor. He felt that I needed an additional transfusion to bring my hemoglobin higher as 8.7 was not safe. I ended up leaving under my responsibility. Can't say anything bad about my nurses but the aids were not too happy with there job. Everything was dirty and sanitizing is not a priority. The patient next to me kept walking to bathroom and wouldn't make it dropping stool all over the floor and they just wiped with towel. Visitors were in and out at 2 and 3 am and I was only able to sleep 3 hours. Worse place to end up when you are sick. The worst thing is that not one person there cares enough to even acknowledge any of the issue. Have been calling the administration dpmt and they just put you on hold. Will make sure I am heard and will make sure my insurance gets notified that I was never seen by the doctor they claim treated me.

I was recently rushed to the trauma center at Kendall Regional. The Staff and specifically, Dr. Boneva saved my life!! They worked so hard on keeping me alive when nobody thought I would make it. Once I was in ICU, I got excellent care. Janet Portal RN was my nurse. She always had a smile and positive thoughts. I was terrified, but she always comforted me and helped me through it. Dr. Jose Rodriguez was such a caring Interventional Radiologist. He would listen to my fears and concerns and always reassured me. These Doctors are not only outstanding physicians, they are remarkable people, who truly care! I am forever grateful for the care I received. THANK YOU!

I've called at least 15 times to try to reach a nurse for an update on my mother in law and I either get hung up on, answered and then hung up on, or transferred to the wrong person. They had her waiting on a room for 17 hours by herself. The only update I have is when her phone had charge and she said she never wants to go back to this hospital again and I haven't reached her in 8 hours. Ridiculous!!!

STAY AWAY,
STAY AWAY,
Went in because the wait time was really short. Boy was I in for a rollercoaster ride. Had to spend the night because my infection was worse than I thought. On two occasions had me confused for someone else , almost gave me the wrong medicine. And then everyone their blames it on everyone saying that wasn't my fault , I had nothing to do with that. And then trying to get my medical records was another mission. Who ever input the my records into the computer put it all wrong.
GO TO BAPTIST ! LESSON LEARNED!

Decent hospital, not the best but decent and certainly better than Baptist. The fact that they renovated this place is even better. The hospital staff was great(To me at least) and they know what they are doing specially when it comes to drawing blood etc... If you can and it is not too far for you I would recommend you go to this hospital instead of Baptist(Although my opinion may be biased due to my previous history). However I've been to both hospitals enough times to know which one is better in terms of care and how the staff treats you. This is just my opinion, other people may have a different one.

If you want misinformation and lied to throughout your stay than this is your place. Emergency room is filthy and not sanitized at all throughout visit. Even though they continuously want to remind people we are in a pandemic. Then Kendall do some cleaning and sanitizing from the entrance and throughout. Instead of having your employees on their cell phones give them some sanitizing wipes to assist in the cleaning of your hospital.

Terrible hospital. Terrible service. Everything bad always happens in this hospital and to top it off they will do whatever necessary to take your money. Baptist is much much much better!!

Both experiences that I had with this hospital were great. My son arrived needing surgery. The nurses, doctors and staff did a great job with him. The second time, I arrived with chest pain and they got me in fast the doctor saw me almost immediately. I was treated an sent home in 2.5 hours.

Doctors were good but the nurses ,especially those at night were borderline cruel to the patients. They missed pills. The assistants did not cover the needs of the patients.in almost a week I only got one bath. Bad bedside manners and some are just stupid with infuriating attitudes Thanks

I do NOT recommend this hospital for either visits or employment. The lady in HR named Lorena Zeledon is very rude and stuck up. I would have wished someone would stick her in the face for her low-quality persona. Please stay away from this hospital. You will be treated much better at any other hospital.

My mother was admitted 4 days. The nurses with first-class care.
But the wait for oxygen was more than 24 hours. 3.5 hours waiting for a wheelchair.
Hospitals are depressing, and when your stay lasts for no reason ... worse still.
Patients in the corridors complaining for the same reason. Too much waiting for them to register.

I had a TERRIBLE experience at Kendall Regional Medical Center: Pediatric Emergency with my baby being misdiagnosed by DR. Saliba on Jan 12th 2017, I took my baby to the emergency room because he had a sore throat so bad that he threw up many times. I wanted a doctor to check on him. Dr. Saliba barely asked us questions about the situation and then said that he might have stomach flu. I told him that he didn t have any diarrhea or any pain in the stomach (I knew his problem was not in his stomach). He then check him and said that most patients are coming to the hospital with stomach flu so that s what the baby has and prescribed a shoot for vomit and diarrhea. When I checked again with his pediatrician she said that he didn t have any problem in the stomach but his throat and recommended me not to give the medicine that Dr. Saliba had prescribed because the baby is too young for it. We are never coming again to that place!

Robynne was extremely helpful, and I really feel like I left with the right bras, and a lot of information about bra fitting. The only downside is that there was rather a wait for the fitting rooms, but with all the personalized attention that you can get at this store, having more fitting rooms might not be scalable anyway.

I was in a very traumatic accident back in February of 2017...
I broke bones from head to toe. Had to be put in induced coma for the drs to perform an 18 hour fusion back surgery.
They talked me through everything and explained very well what was going to be done.
The surgery came out soooo successful and I also had to have nose surgery because my nose shattered and broke.
I'm doing so good still till this day, and I always think of this hospital and the love I was given !!!!!
You saved my life for one, and second, gave me hope to keep living my life.
My Dr that preformed the surgery, told me I'm lucky to be here, but to be honest I'm blessed. I love this place and couldn't be happier with how great I'm doing.
I love all of the nurses that helped me get through one of the HARDEST times of my life and fixed up.
I wasn't supposed to make it, I was supposed to be paraplegic..... I wasn't supposed to walk again or have kids. But I'm doing and have done all of that since my successful surgeries.
I know words cant thank you enough!!!!!!
I love my life and am so grateful to still be here.
God bless all that you all do!!!!!

I dont know where these people are getting that this hospital his horrible. I have had a AMAZING time here. I had bi lateral hip surgery and the doctors and nurses are so wonderful especially these nurse Maria, Ismary. Doris, and Claudia have been so on top of making sure im comfortable and have all i need. The CNAs could use some training on how to properly care for bed bound patients my husband has been the one doing everything for me. Im on 4 west and couldnt ask for a better hospital to get my care at. I visited 2 other hospital prior to coming here and the couldnt find out whats wrong with me until i came here and found out i had Avascular Necrosis of my femual head. Glad i am here.

I give this Hospital a 5 star rating thanks to the TRAUMA TEAM!! They saved my dad's life. It was a very tough time for me and my family going thru something like this during a pandemic we weren't able to see him till after 3 weeks of his accident. I want to thank to the ICU B nurses for their amazing job... I might be leaving some names out but I want to shout to them because the only source of communication was through the phone and they ALWAYS were willing to update me every time I called (an average of 5 times a day) and never once I got an attitude from them.. a special shout out to Betty, Rita, Rublas, Yudiel, Miguel, Eduard, Zoe, Ashley, Julio, Robert, Lucie, Ada,Yerene,... Also to Dr. Rendan, Dr. Morejon, Dr. Miller, Dr. Acebal, Dr. Bernal and Dr. Ramirez. I know I am missing a bunch more names, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!!! We are eternally grateful for what you do.
Oh, also a special thank you to PT/OT staff Ivonne, Carmen, Sara, Mike Thank you guys!!!!
I must add once my dad was transferred out of ICU our experience in PCU 3rd floor was not the most pleasant, nurses were very loud and barely come to check on my dad the ones that did come to see if he needed anything were the PCT, they didn't even know of everything my dad had gone thru I was the one updating them, thankfully he was only there 4 days. So, I must recognize these PCTs... Chester and Stephanie and the night nurse Julio... THANK YOU!!!

i just made a phone call to the emergency registration intending to find out if a relative of mine had been admitted today. Much to my astonishment an employee who called herself by Celia explained she could not tell me . Without even asking the name of the patient.Though I may understand hippa policies and its implications , just letting someone know if a beloved one is in the facility would not break any. Sad to realize most of reviews are accurate. A much bettet attitude is expected from a hospital staff.Much disgrace to this otherwise good and socially compromised hospital.
