VOTES ONE OF SOUTH FLORIDAS WORST HOSPITALS TO ATTEND
EVERYONE HERE AS SOON AS YOU ENTER THE ROOM IS RUDE AND ARE TALKING AMONGST EACH OTHER. I CAME TO MATERNITY TO HAVE MY WIFE CHECKED OUT DUE TO SOME LOWER ABDOMINAL PAIN AND I WASNT ALLOWED IN BECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE MY ID WHEN I WAS HERE LAST WEEK. I ASKED IF THEY COULD PLEASE LOOK ME UP IN THE SYSTEM SO I COULD VERIFY ALL OF MY INFO AND GET A VISITORS PASS. WE WERENT ALLOWED INTO THE MATERNITY ER, WE WERE TOLD TO GO TO ER AND ONCE THERE I ASKED THE SECURITY TO LOOK ME UP AND I WAS ABLE TO GET A PASS. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME WHEN THE FIRST PERSON COULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING AND LET US THROUGH. MY WIFE IS 8 MONTHS PREGNANT THATS ABUSE AND NEGLECT WHAT IF SHES GOING INTO LABOR?? WE WAITED IN THE ER FOR SOMEONE FROM MATERNITY TO COME AND GET US FOR OVER 20 MINS. READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS AND THEYRE ALL TRUE THEY REALLY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES. THESE PEOPLE HERE ARE HEARTLESS. ONCE WE FINALLY GOT UP TO MATERNITY WE ARE BEING GIVEN A WHOLE BUNCH OF DIFFERENT INFORMATION WHILE THE NURSES TALK ABOUT WHAT THEYRE GOING TO HAVE FOR LUNCH. TODAY IS PALACIO DE LOS JUGOS, INSTEAD OF TALKING ABOUT THAT WORRY ABOUT THE PATIENTS THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR FACE AND GET THEIR CORRECT INFORMATION DOWN. ANOTHER THING THAT I FIND RIDICILOUS IS THAT I AM HERE WITH MY WIFE AND MY 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHICH BEHAVES EXTREMELY WELL AND WE ARENT ALLOWED TO GO AND BE WITH MY WIFE IN THE ROOM THEY HAVE HER IN. WHAT MORE WOULD I WANT THAN TO BE THERE WITH MY WIFE AS SHES IN PAIN TO COMFORT HER. THE NURSE LITERALLY CLOSED THE DOOR IN MY DAUGHTERS FACE AND SAID SHE COULDNT COME IN. DISGUSTING SERVICE AND DISGUSTING PEOPLE. EVERYONE WHO WORKS HERE IS A POS AND ARE WORKING IN THE WRONG FIELD.

The worst experience of my life, starting with the cleaning, in my stay they never thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the bathroom, diagnoses, attention of certain doctors, I went for a kidney infection and they told me that I had mass (cancer) that devastated all my family, that after certain tests was not like that, they changed me antibiotic without warning and when we asked for information from the infectologist he told us that we always wanted them to explain everything to us, he got angry and left us with the word in his mouth, we asked to speak with him case manager and he didn't want to help us either. I do not recommend at all

As an a mother I don t have complains about this hospital at all ,I really think for children this hospital has been the best .. I gave birth to my daughter in this hospital and the overall experience was great.. emergency room wait time has been less than 5 mins. My daughter has been hospitalized two times and the nurses have been excellent as well as pediatricians especially Mr. Fernando Perez he is an amazing doctor and explains everything until you understand also treats children with such care patience & love!

Definitely the hospital of my choice to take my child for any emergency. 100% recommended.

Wish I can say the same about other hospitals in Miami.

The nurses are always lost. I was in my room for more than 45-60 minutes waiting for my nurse & keep in mind that I had pressed the nurse button so they can come to see what u need or want. Nowhere to be found. Very rude, impolite, & judge mental. When it gets really busy, the care is by far terrible. They're just looking to get u out of there. They tell me my results after & when I go to the online to check all my test results, their was so many things they didn't even want to tell me like (there are stones in your kidneys) wouldn't that piece of info been nice to know, instead of telling that everything is alright.

Once the operator answered the phone, and I asked for a patiente's room number, you can sit down and wait for ever to get that information, it is faster drive to the hospital and to get the room number before you get it over the phone, what a horrible service, also last night dealing with people bad mood over the phone, it is terrible!

The worst experience I do not recommend anyone come to this hospital, great doctors.
The hospital system is very bad, nurses have to be chased to do their job because they are assigned many patients, you have to remind them of medicines, nursing assistants have up to 12 and 14 patients in their care, impossible to provide a good service to each patient according to your needs, if you have a family member in this hospital I recommend you not to leave him alone, there must be someone there pending the needs of the patient because with the staff you can not count, that you call them to come spend a lot of time

The PAT department was quick and efficient. Carolyn the RN was excellent and the manager Bertfred ensured that my visit went flawlessly!

My son was in the emergency room and there were no rooms available so he had to stay overnight in the emergency room. They provided no bed and he had to sleep on a stretcher. They did not even provide him with a pillow. Go to any other hospital but this one. This hospital is run like one from a third world country with employees from these same third world countries.

I had to have an emergency C-section here because it is where the ambulance was required to take me. I had a horrible experience. The nurses were rude to me (one older woman in particular) & treated me like I was stupid. I will refuse to ever return to this hospital for any pregnancy needs in the future.

On Sept 10 2020 I was involved in a single car accident after I lost control of my car in the rain on the turnpike. The only hospital I could be taken to after sustaining injuries, including bruised ribs and broken right foot, was Kendall Regional Hospital. I must say that this wasnt a hospital I wanted to go to but it was my only choice. My experience in the ER was 50/50, while everyone helping and examining me were very nice I was left alone in the room for hours at a time without anyone checking up on me despite me being in horrible pain (and receiving NO meds) and needing help to use the "restroom" because i could not walk. Once admitted to the 4th floor (Orthopedics floor) I was greeted by the RN who'd be my nighttime RN through my 4 day stay, Adrian M. Let me tell you how I feel so blessed to have had Adrian as my nurse! I needed help using the restroom and (cleaning) myself. I was extremely embarrassed but each time he assured me it was his job and it was "ok". He made me feel comfortable, he helped EVERY SINGLE TIME I called for him; he was kind and caring and really made me feel cared for! If I ever had to return the KRH I would hope (although I know unlikely) that he'd be my RN during my stay. I also received great assistance from another nighttime nurse, Yeleny! She was a sweetheart and my daytime nurse Catherine was also a major blessing and I am soo grateful for Catherine and Adrian! I was however extremely frustrated and upset with the way things took place when it came to my surgery; I spent all day without eating Friday, Sept 11th waiting on my surgery just to be told I wouldn't be getting surgery that day. On Saturday morning the general doctor advised me I couldn't have surgery because i had pneumonia and it was be dangerous to be put under general anesthesia yet at 10am on they came to take me into surgery. No one was communicating with anyone else about my condition and my surgery, it took almost 2.5 hours for every one to be on the same page and then finally I was able to have surgery which I must say went very well. I am grateful to Dr. Rojas for a great job on my foot!

Currently still hospitalized but the woman who comes to take payment believe her name is Ana, I am absolutely displeased and felt offended by her. She various times has a way when she speaks to diminish what a patient is feeling. Ex. My pain and her expressing how she feels i feel today or yesterday based on look. If she is not a doctor not a nurse and much less the person in pain, and just someone collecting payment she should keep comments like that to herself! It is rude and insensitive, to top it off with an attitude if you express disagreement.
Everyone else has been wonderful her I don't know how you let her talk to patients and her putting her two cents. I'd to like say taking payments and all that is not the issue its really those comments that take away from someones pain. How often does she do that without supervision.

My dad was in this hospital last year and honestly it was great. The staff helped save his life. However, this year with my mom has been horrific. All of her doctors were not on the same page, they all had something different to say. Most of the nurses were getting on my last nerve because they would barely check up on my mother (thank God I was with her about 9 hours every day.) There were moments while my mother was attached to the IV and she needed it removed in order to walk to the bathroom. When she would call the nurse it would take about 20 minutes for them to come. My mom would press the "urgent" that's meant for emergencies because she desperately had to go to the bathroom and it literally took them about 30 minutes. When a random nurse walks in he says he saw the light flashing. I then asked him, "please tell me what good this button is for. What if my mother was on the floor right now bleeding out and she pressed that button and it took you 30 minutes to get here? Not much of an urgent button." He had no idea what to respond! I'm highly aggravated. Also, the rooms are FILTHY! My mom went to shower and the shower was disgusting. Little hairs every where and some gunk on the floor -- this was the first room she was in. Then she was transferred to another room and that shower was disgusting as well!!! There was a used shampoo bottle there. Both floors after being mopped were still dirty. A rag had fallen on the floor and when I picked it up it was black! I'm truly appalled. I dislike writing bad reviews, but I had to do it this time. overall, it's been terrible. I pray we never have to come to a hospital again. If we do, it definitely will NOT be this one.

Fast service and diagnosis, but the cleaning condition of the bathroom was poor. I had to provide a urine sample and had to use the bathroom, there were no paper towels to dry my hands, the toilet seat cover dispensers were empty and each single toilet had toilet paper or other kind of mess inside. Also, when I had to get X-rays, I was handed a robe and it smelled musty, like something that had being put away and not washed for years.

July 3 2020. I've been in a room with another patient for 3 days. At around 12 AM, or earlier, he puts a sitcom on his phone and leaves it on the rest of the night and therefore I cannot fall asleep. I have complained to the nurses over and over again. I even asked them to send someone with more authority to make him stop. But the nurses just leave the room, close the door, and half an hour later I call again and same thing happens. The patient refuses to turn off the device and even had the nerve to tell me 'deal with it'. I had no idea a hospital's policy would allow a patient do that! It's 4:05 in the morning, I'm trying to sleep but his phone is still playing. I'm definitely complaining. I hate to leave 3 stars but this is a bad situation.

The worst type of service in this hospital. My wif...

The worst type of service in this hospital. My wife went for a doctor appointment and when she was leaving the elevator of the parking garage broke down. We understand that those things happen, but how you react is another thing. My wife is pregnant and went with our other son that has 1 year old and his scroller. When she saw that situation, she asked for help to the to the security person in the entrance. He responded that he can t help her or move of his position (I am not asking for you to take my wife to the 4th floor, but at least call someone that can help) that she has to go up through the CAR RAMPS. She went with another pregnant lady to the entrance and talk with the guy with the golf cars and ask him for help. He told them that that situation wasn t his problem, was the hospital problem and he can t use the car for them because imagine that after that he would have to use the car for the other patients too. That they have to resolve themselves. So, what could my wife do after looking for help and nobody wanted to help or at least call someone. She started to go up through the CAR ramp. When she arrived to the first floor, she almost pass out and when she was about to cry in frustration and desperation because she could move anymore, then she saw a car looking for parking (a complete stranger) and beg him for help. This person helps her to go to her car. But why my wife has to beg a stranger for help almost crying when you are in a hospital? The worst experience ever.

After going two Baptist hospital, Kendall regional literally saved my life. I was told at the other hospitals to go home take antibiotics and I will be fine, when in reality I had a leaking gallbladder. From the ER to upstairs, to surgery it was the best treatment I've had in a hospital in a long time. I've been home for 2 weeks now and I feel better than ever, thanks to all the nurses who took care of me and the doctors who took their time to come by and talk to me and keep me informed the whole time.

Let me start off by saying I have been here since ...

Let me start off by saying I have been here since Monday 03/11/18 with my 37yr old husband who had a heart attack and I want to thank each and every nurse that has attended to him . Thank you Martha and Maritza from the stroke unit you both deserve an award. Thank you Yeni, Cynthia and Elizabeth from stroke ICU you ladies deserve an award as well. Now let s get to the reason why I am leaving a review post discharge and with only ONE star. We have officially be transferred to what is call Step Down Floor from ICU and from the minute we arrived here it has been a MESS the nurse who received us Janice showed ZERO empathy ZERO everything she was rude and violated HIPPA from A-Z. Thankfully when the shifts changed we got a very warm and welcoming nurse named Paulette who was everything a nurse should be. But today 3/17/18 my husband is sent some blood work so into the room walks a phlebotomist with gloves I am watching her from the minute she walks in so as she prepepping I see her pick up what she used on the previous patient including syringes which she throws in the hazardous waste basket. She then walks over to my husband and scans his bracelet so I ask her nicely excuse me did you just throw syringes in there her response YES and instead of changing her gloves she walks over to my husband and begins prepping him for his blood work I said excuse me again and told her if she could please change her gloves and she said I am wearing them which confirmed she did not understand English to well. So she finally caught on and changed them she drew his blood and when walking out turns to me and tells me again with her non friendly or welcoming attitude I just want you to know I change my gloves all the time I said OK but this time you didn t but thank you and BYE. I was going to drop it there but decided once I went over what happened with my mother in law to involve the nurse leader of our floor Centhia which I may add was amazing as well. She and Paulette apologized for everything and promised it wouldn t happened again and they would be speaking with her supervisor. Then maybe 15 minutes later walks in the same phlebotomist and tells me the following since you went and reported me to my supervisor and didn t know my name I came to give it to you so you can report me now I was so furious and felt so disrespected by this unprofessional around my husband who was just in ICU hours ago that I honestly do not remember her name now but I did have her come with me to the nurse station where I made sure they knew what she did. I m conclusion I apologize for the long post but I will NEVER again step foot in this hospital and god willing neither will anyone close to me I will make sure of it. I pray we get discharged tomorrow as I officially no longer feel safe nor secure of anything they will be doing around here to my husband.

So if you could AVOID this hospital do so at all causes!!!!

Thank you!

This hospital sucks! The feet in this hospital hav...

This hospital sucks! The feet in this hospital have no idea what the head is doing. You call a nurse here and they literally take an hour to come see you. If you ask a question you either get an I don't know or 3 different types of answer from 3 different people to the same question. The place is dirty & outdated in most places. I've been here since Monday 4am that makes 4 days, not once has my medication been on time. 45 minutes late an hour late some times. The meds wear off before I get another dose.
The Nurses. Never in 40 years of life have I experienced such poor rude hate their own lives cause they have to be here service. Out of 8 nurses that I have come in contact with only 2 of them have been professional nurses. The others have been rude, slow, just over all lacking complete professionalism. Nurses are supposed to help you and soothe you through this rough time. Not roll they're eyes at you and ignore your calls for help, which is what 2/3 of the nurses that dealt with here in the last 4 days. The Doctors. OK the doctors, they show up 1 time for 2 minutes say some gibberish and then you don't see them for 2 days. I had a major surgery procedure done here (big mistake on my part) and no doctor gas even come by to check up on me or my wounds or incisions not the first time yet. Not even to talk to me about how the procedure went or any feedback at all. Just no contact at all. Been almost 20 hours since my surgery. They failed to bandage me the lefty with an open to the air incision for hours, over 3. Finally 1 of the 2 nurses that have actually been professional and courteous finally covers my surgery incision, after 3 hours of being in the open air in the germ ridden hospital, wonderful. At this point I'm sitting here in pain still NO doctor rude nurses and just overall lack of any real comfort.

There is so much more for me to say but I don't want to take up anymore of the people's valuable time.

To sum it up, I don't know if any other hospital would have been different but I can definitely tell you from personal first gand experience being lived thru as I write in this hospital bed, STAY AWAY from this place u less you want to have the most uncomfortable unprofessional experience of your hospital stay career.

Terrible hospital just stand at nurses station and you hear.
Who is this patiens nurse? I dont know.
Did that patient get insulin? I think so.
Have the patients been fed? We don't know.
Have the Dr. Made their rounds? I think so i dont really know.
Patients go 12 hrs without being changed.
Nurses aids hang around the computer like it was a water cooler.
You can spend 48 hrs after diagnosis and Dr. Orders to get actual treatment.
Overall i would not take my pets here.

I have been to hospitals but like this one ever since I entered the emergency room it is such an inegligence that I thought I was in Cuba. My dad had an attack at home (seizure) and call the rescue and the nearest hospital was this we arrived here and my dad had a lot of dizziness and vomiting phlegm as if drowning and so they took him to make a plaque on his head they took him out and took him to the room there you keep vomiting phlegm and dizzy, until I went to the front and told them they will not give anything to my dad for dizziness and was that they put the serum but it was too late I present another attack more there they all came running and they took care of it quickly when in my despair I asked the nurse's boss what it was that you had gone through, you answered you did not see the DR, well, of course, I do not know who the dr is and it was when the dr came and presented with me, then at 11:30 at night they gave him a fourth room for the fourth Juliet a very good nurse attended to my dad thank you, for when it came the turn of change this paresia a partty was missing the music screaming greeting one to the others (nurses) no respect for the sick people here who would scream ugliest for God I always told myself that I did not want to come to Kendall with anyone in my family and look but I'm going out with my dad thank God and change it fast from here the dr halemm Abdul very nice person very nice person thanks dr

I would not hesitate to choose this hospital again to have my next baby, we all have different experiences and that is why I respect the criteria of each person. Personally, my stay, the treatment I received, the care by the doctors, the nurses and all the staff were unbeatable, the professionalism of all and the affection with which I was treated left me a beautiful memory of this hospital and that special moment in the life of every woman who has had children. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Dr. Dunkin who received my beautiful baby, all my eternal thanks.

What a pitiful attention for god! Both to the patient and to the relatives that at these difficult times it is not possible to maintain communication! Days go by and they don't give any reason for your family member! They sent him a soup and they delivered it to him in the already decomposed night they are not worth what he asks or says
Every call that is made hangs up or leaves you in long waits where they never give an answer! It seems to me an abuse!

Horrible they don't keep patient records confidential, they have no respect for HIPAA and they don't know how to do there job correct.
My wife came to the ER, first of all they gave her the wrong discharge papers, it was someone's else information plus the doctors note for work. The next day we come back to change the doctors note and they put the incorrect date, they put April when we are in February, so AGAIN we are going back to the hospital for them to give a paper with the correct date and they said they can't give it to her that she needs to bring the paper with the incorrect date for them to give her a new doctor's note for her job. On top of this they didn't give her, her discharge paper because they said the system was down. What type of hospital is this.

This hospital is by far the worse . They throw you in a room if you are lucky . Then the doctor takes about half and hour to 45 minutes to see you which at that point my pain level was more like 8 instead of the 7 I came in. I feel as though the doctor/nurses are afraid of HELPING YOU with some minor comfort . I get it . Theres an epidemic out there but is it fair to make a patient wait at your hospital for over 3 hours just so I had to come to work in pain still ? No prescription to take home , not even a visit from the actual doctor. Just his underling who so comfortably feel on giving me something I specifically told me would not let me sleep for the next two days. " minor side effect" . Doc would u go 2 days with no sleep in pain ? I highly doubt that. I had a skin graft here a few years back and the burn center actually cares about their patients . The ER is simply the place where you shall encounter the reality of healthcare in this country .

Wish i could rate my experience a 0 stars. Everytime i come here i have a bad experience idk why i keep going back, at the end its my fault for coming here. i am 27 weeks pregnant and ive been having such bad pain, Susana was my nurse and she completely neglected me. she left in my room for two hours before plugging me into the monitors (fetal heart rate & contractions) and then didnt even come back to tell me if everything was okay. She kept telling me she thought it was siatical pain & that my situation wasnt important. Even after telling her i suffer from kidney problems she didnt do a urine exam, and kept telling me it was siatical pain. i ended up leaving on my own because noone ever saw me. after 3 hours she kept telling me i was next for an ultrasound . TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Kendall Regional Medical Center

Kendall Regional Medical Center
nabil mendoza

I come from daytona fl and i am surprise how different they treat new babies and mommies here. Only one person can be in the room in labor and nurses dont do hourly rounds. This hospital does not have thw same amenities as th hospitals i am familiar with. I just thought all the hospitals were the same. I literally have to ask the nurses for stuff for my sister in law. My niece was born on new years at 12:12am and i thought she would get a little more of attention and care due to that she was the only one in labor in this hospital at that time. Wish i would have known how unjoyful this hospital was.Love my ormond beach hospital. You can have as much support of people in labor as you want. Any visitors hourly rounds check. Always double checking if everything was ok. And did i mention its 64 degrees in this room and we are all freezing and the nurses say they cant do anything about it. Hopefully are baby niece doesnt get sick. I even asked if there were warm blankets for mommy and this hospital doesnt even have that so here we are freezing. I wonder if they offer a welcome dinner for mom and dad and do baby pics.
If you want a better experience haveing a baby dont have it here. It sucks. Its wierd and awkward. Lonely and depressing. I honostly never thought there was a hospital like this. We just happy that our niece is here and she was the first baby born in this area of miami.

I fractured my ankle and I was having such a horrible day but when I came into the Emergency center everyone was super nice and took such good care of me. When putting on my splint cast I was in so much pain and they saw my discomfort that the staff just started cracking jokes and trying to make me laugh so I wouldn t think about it so much. I ve never had such a good experience in a hospital before, It truly made my day! 10/10 would recommend

The worst care for my dad. He went in with a broken hip and developed severe complications. My father contracted hepatitis from a blood transfusion here. But the worst part was when he had surgery for an intestinal blockage and the attending surgeon actually showed me a photograph of my father opened up on the operating table.i was just 23 years old. This has haunted me for years I am pretty sure the doctor is still is in practice at this hospital. I wish I would have had the nerve to report him to the AMA at the time. I would never send anyone to this horrible hospital. AVOID COMPLETELY UNETHICAL!!! Dr. Nieves.

I'll give it 0 if I had that option

I'll give it 0 if I had that option
I took my elderly mother to the ER and asked at front desk for a wheelchair to transfer my mother from the car since she had a severe knee pain and couldn't walk and a version y rude man and the front desk told me to see if I could move her because they didn't have a wheelchair
unbelievable
I called right way to make a complaint and I was asked why I left ? Well I left because in April 16 , 2017 kendal regional a USA hospital they didn't have a wheelchair on the ER
But after reading all the horrible reviews I guess that rude guy at the ER saved my mom from staying there and possibly having a worst experience

I was urgently admitted to Kendall Regional Medical Center, they operated on me and I was hospitalized for more than a week. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that it only has shared rooms. That is not comfortable at all. Otherwise, I only have good things to say. Both the doctors, nurses and the rest of the hospital staff were extremely kind, respectful and professional. The entire staff of nurses were very attentive and gentle. Especially Natasha and Jaclyn on floor 3. Thank you all for your care and good attention.

The most unprofessional staff I've ever had to deal with in all the south florida hospitals I've ever been to. The ER has a party atmosphere with yelling and loud laughter. Staff using vulgar language speaking with each other and about patients. Rent a cops sit around the ER discussing politics and sports in loud voices. I will never come to this hospital ever again. Next time fire rescue asks which hospital I prefer, my answer will be anywhere but Kendall Regional.

THIS HOSPITAL IS THE WORST HOSPITAL YOU CAN END UP IN IF YOU ARE ILL. MY FATHER HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED FOR 18 DAYS AND NOT ONCE HAS ANY OF THE NURSES BATHE HIM. NURSES ARE EXTREMELY LAZY AND WHENEVER YOU CALL THEM THEY TAKE THEIR SWEET TIME. WE HAVE HAD TO STAY THERE EVERY SINGLE NIGHT TO MAKE SURE THAT HE IS PROPERLY TAKEN CARE OF CAUSE DURING THE NIGHT MOST NURSES ARE MIA. HYGIENE IS AT A ALL TIME LOW BOTH FOR PATIENTS AND ROOM.

Every doctor, every nurse, technician, everyone of them were very professional, receptive and empathic of my situation. Very nice, patient, proactive and accomodating of my needs and worries. They all contributed actively and professionally to me being alive today and healthy.

I felt confident in their hands and with their desicions. Very thankful and appreciative.

I just left a bilateral mastectomy nothing to complain about the hospital, very affectionate and friendly nurses, all very clean of the only thing I could complain about is that when I left the operation they took me to the recovery room there was a Nurse who managed to hear what the Chinese told her, when I woke up from my anesthesia that room was pure scream and she laughed loudly as in the market so much so that I could not speak loudly and called her for a long time and did not listen to me and when she heard me After several attempts, he didn't even tell one of the young people who were with her. Go see her ... not even an attention on her part. Only she spoiled all the work of others.

My mother moved to the area of trauma and my experience that I had had horrible, the nurse called her and told me that she would come to the room and after an hour I called her and had the nerve to tell me that she was under torture and that she had forgotten Go give my mother the medicine. And the worst part is that this is the only hospital trauma near my home.

All the reviews are sadly true. I have never seen a nurse in ICU call pharmacy and read instructions to administer a medication to a person in bed rest. Everything in icu has to be called thru pharmacy even in emergencies. They are clueless and not prepared. I fear my family members life. Wish I can transport him to another hospital. Why doesn't this place close down already. You are dealing with people's lives.

i am very upset with the emergency room.. Today 7/28/20 my husband entered the emergency room for a blood transfusion because he had low hemoglobin.. since he entered at one in the afternoon.. it's already eleven at night and they haven't given him anything to eat.. I called the emergency room and they hung me up... I disagree. since family members cannot enter the emergency room because of the pandemic.. They should have a special line for those who cannot accompany our loved ones in the emergency room..

This hospital has been the one of choice to some family members for quite some time now due to its location. My last experience was with my 93 years old grandma (09/15 09/18) who was taken to ER due to what it seemed to be a strong cold and ended up being diagnosed as pneumonia. Right from the beginning, she was assisted in a speedy fashion. She was admitted and stayed there for 3 nights. I wanted to leave a review touching various points;
Cleanness
************
The hospital and the room were in clean condition. The staff acted quickly if sheets, blankets, etc. needed to be replaced. There was regular cleaning throughout the day, except for the last two days.
Food
*********
There were several choices provided on a daily basis with varied and balanced meals. It tasted good and was properly cooked/prepared.
Service
***********
Very patient-oriented staff. There were special people I would like to mention, yet I am sure there are a lot more as part of the staff;
Lissette (RN) on the 5th floor. Great care and flexibility
Jacquie (NT) on the 5th floor. Very candid and friendly
Jesus (NP) Quite professional, took the time to explain the process my grandma had to undergo
Romelia (NT) on the 5th floor. Young, but very nice. Always willing to help and hands-on work.
Reynaldo (RN) on the 5th floor. Nice to my grandma, able to connect with her and went above and beyond to assist us when being discharged.

Definitely the experience has been satisfactory, obviously glad that we are out of the hospital now, yet I wish the best in the careers and future to the members mentioned above.

My husband was in the ICU. They switch nurses like they are going out of style. Some of the nurses were nice, but others were plain rude. I hope their spouses are never in an ICU unit. Comunication is poor. How did my husband who was 32 and wake up 3 times pass away 21 days later. One day they thought he had this the next day they thought he had that. After all the BS the vultures came around to ask for his organs. Yeah did I mention that the Dialysys they did on him raised his blood pressure through the roof. That is what most likely caused his brain dearh. The hospital is garbage. We live in Anerica speak english.

THE EXPERIENCE AT THIS HOSPITAL HAS BEEN HORRIBLE... I've been out here since Thursday night with my grandmother it is now Monday morning... I have yet to see anyone come and clean her room, they only come to take the trash... A lot of the nurses are rude... They come in speaking Spanish don't even ask if you speak Spanish.... They take forever to come when you do call them... I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE!!!!
